(trying not to run head-first into the nearest wall) ravio is cool . i like ravio
#honestly . i did not ever expect to take him for serious#i already knew that he (SPOILERS.......................) was the lorule counterpart to link but i didnt understand what that meant overall#i just thought he was funny!!! this isnt funny anymore man . i keep pausing to put my head in my hands irl. he found his courage#lorule in general is making me sick . one of the first things hilda tells you abt it is that it looks similar to your world. but it isnt#lorule is not an exact copy. or even like a shadow . its is its own parallel world. hilda does not betray you because zelda wouldnt#hilda betrays you bc she feels like it was her last option. zelda insists that she understands hilda's actions bc she might have done the#same if she were that desperate to do good by her kingdom. myyy god#AND RAVIO. he isnt cowardly because link is heroic. that isnt how it works. he just had a different perspective#maybe he didn't take hilda on himself. but he did still take action by guiding link to taking down hilda behind the scenes#and what is link about if not action? what does zelda strive for if not caring of her kingdom? goodness.#i feel weird saying “ravio is a link at heart” but only because it goes both ways. two sides of the same coin. link is a ravio at heart.#same goes for zelda and hilda#frogtxts#m

Lorule (aka Hyrule’s Ravio)
PREVIOUS/DOCTOR
Got my tablet to work, so here we go with the next Ravio!
The Hero of Lorule is young capitan of the royal guards.
Very confident of himself and his role, sometime arrogant and he can be a bit harsh with his words,(The new recruits that are trained by him can confirm). Still he has a kind heart who just wants to be someone his people can look up to.
While Hyrule’s world is a dangerous place, where civilisation is limited to a few villages, Lorule’s world is flourishing.
He grew up in Castletown, he isn’t a survivalist like the Traveler (just the training he got in the military)
Lorule is also half fairy (just like Hyrule in this headcanon) but he isn’t good with his magic, he doesn’t know how to use it in battle and he struggles to control it.
He has two Hildas, just like Hyrule has two Zeldas. The first Hilda he met was at 10 years old when he discovered to be the Hero, he met the second Hilda during a Quest, when he saved her.
He grew up with both the Hero of Lorule and Hyrule stories (Hope and Legend), he admires them both a lot, and he is the only other Ravio who knows of the existence of the world of Hyrule.
He is the cook in his group, fortunately his food doesn’t curse people even with his face blood.
He is close with Hope, but he has more of a mentor/student relationship than friendship with him, and Hope is a bit overwhelmed by his enthusiasm to change things.
He and Hyrule have a fine relationship, they are not the closest but they work well together.
The reality is that they admire each other a lot, but struggle to express it:
Hyrule admires Lorule because he sees him more similar to his companions, strong knights that are legendary. But it also make a bit self conscious about his self worth, making him result colder to Lorule.
Lorule admires Hyrule for his strength and abilities, especially the magical ones. Hyrule also reminds him a lot of Hope, both of them shined light in their kingdoms that were is chaos, kind hearted people in an unforgiving world. He thinks that Hyrule doesn’t like him, mostly because how close off Hyrule is at times. Lorule knows that his enthusiasm can be a bit much at times, and he believes that Hyrule finds him a bit annoying.
He will ask advice to Hope, who will teach him how to communicate with the Links, especially when they don’t talk (btw Hope helps more than one Ravio out when it comes to interacting with the Links, same goes for Legend but in reverse)
.
.
.
I want to thank @lace4forest.
You have no idea how much your video analysis helped me to write this character (your video on Wars is going to save me when I do his Lorulian counterpart)
If you don’t know about her channel on YouTube, she has a series where she analyses every Link, they are very useful for any fanfiction/fancomic writer of LU.
She also does streams on Twitch and draws (very good drawings too!)
Go check everything out!

Oh look! I escaped containment! Update Entrance | part 2
So normal dungeon size. Would be cool to see what the different floor look like and for what reason the temple had been used in the past. Could there be references to one of them? An old inscription telling one of the Link’s legend?
-
Oh yes the reason Hyrule Warriors isn’t a canon Zelda game…and my personal one-sides beef with Aonuma! The timeline would be so much easier…
Anyway, Hyrule Warriors features some dungeons, but you just run and fight the hoards of monsters.
Love the their shock faces! And then there is Time. Don’t know if the side eye is because Time is the most stoic 3D Link, or because my boy is going through high level stress?
-
Interesting piece of LU lore! Either that or Wars purposely mentions Ganon.
Cause, technically, Cia started the War of Ages. Yes she was under the influence of Ganon, but it was her obsession that also lead to the events in HW.
And that, snuck under Ganon’s snout is not true for all of them.
Time literally played into Ganondorf’s plan in the first half of Oot. (In MM, if you look at Skull kid with the telescope. Majora will always look at you, what means they know where you are)
The same goes for Legend, in a Link between Worlds. Hilda had asked for his help, only so she could have the Triforce of Courage. Meaning that they had to be watching him somehow to make sure everything was going according to plan.
And also, I think that Zant had an eye on Twilight, not sure if from the very beginning or at some point in the game.
-
Yes recurrent items. I wonder if Hyrule has already left something hidden somewhere, for a future hero to find? The hero to follow would be Warriors so, has he any items of Hyrule?
Interesting enough, Twilight’s hero’s clothes are often said belonged to Time, because Ordona made the comment that the green tunic belonged to an ancient hero. But it makes more sense that there actually belonged to Sky, since Time isn’t an official hero in that timeline.
(Some other example of what Hyrule said, would be:
Four’s Gust Jar -> Sky’s Gust bellows
Four’s Mole Mitts -> Sky’s Digging mitts/ Mogma mitts
Four’s Small Shield -> Wind’s Hero’s shield
Four’s Cane of Pacci -> Legend’s Cane of Somaria/ Cane of Byrna
Twilight’s Ball and Chain -> Warrior’s Ball and Chain
Time’s Hero’s Bow -> Twilight’s Hero’s Bow)
-
Twilight saw the opportunity to bite War’s ego and took it! Meanwhile, Four worries about some enemies only found in dungeons, why is he the only one who cares about his brother getting badly hurt?
Wind is clearly screaming inside.
-
Nice call back to when LU hasn’t had a storyline!
This part could be also mean that some of the doodles can be taken as Slice of Life parts, though some of them still hadn’t taken place yet.
-
Hyrule knows that it is important to know the enemy and be prepare. Like that about his character, as much as he likes to goof around and get lost in the world, he knows when to take things serious.
(He might quote this even from his game? His text does read like something an NPC in game would say.)
-
Legend‘s little prank here is a good way to show the captain how it’s feels to be grabbed by a Wallmaster. So no blame to the Vet, this might be even good.

A cry for help CH 3
Summary: It’s a boring day at the mortuary.
Zelda Spellman x Fem!Reader
A/N: Again, if any grammar mistakes I apologize.
Looking out the kitchen window, you watch Sabrina and her friends along with a couple of academy students hang about talking and catching up on their lives. After all it was a Friday, but for you it was just a regular day. Boring day, at that fact.
“Why don’t you go out there, love?” Hilda asks. “Make some new friends.” You shrug, still looking out. “I don’t know, it’s just I’m not a part of them so it’ll feel weird…forget it.” Turning away from the window, you look at what Hilda is doing and see her grabbing fresh lemons, “Need help?” You start to grab the lemons and grab the cutting board. “Oh, thank you dear. Nice slices,” She instructions. You hear high heels coming towards the kitchen and a second later Zelda appears in view.
“What are you two up to?”
“Making lemonade for the kids. Want to help?” Hilda holds up a lemon to Zelda, who makes a face in return. “I’ll pass. I actually want to talk to Y/N for a second. Do you have a second?” You stop what you’re doing and look up. “Oh, okay.” Grabbing the lemon and knife from you, Hilda waves you off towards Zelda. “Off you go, dear.”
Following Zelda into the living room you watch her grab two brandy glasses from her stash she has in the middle of the hallway and pour herself and you a drink. Walking back to you she holds out the now half full glass. “Come. Sit.” You follow and sit across from her in the chair. She sits down and places her feet on the little foot rest she has. “So, what did you want to talk about?”
“I actually want to tell you that I admire you, you came a long way in such a short time. I knew witches who went through what you did and they would keep it with them for weeks, sometimes years, but you-you are different,” You feel a blush spread across your cheeks. Zelda raises her glass to her lips and takes a sip and you do the same before looking at the fire that is behind you. From the corner of your eye you see Zelda lean forward towards you which brings your attention back to her and she leans in with a look in her eyes.
“You are a remarkable woman, Y/n. Truly,” This time you didn’t break eye contact with her. You glance down at her lips that part slightly and your mouth goes dry-
“Aunties!”
Sabrina’s voice sounds from the entrance, along with her friends. Quickly pulling apart and standing, you place your glass down and Zelda stays sitting, calm. Hilda comes out of the kitchen with fresh lemonade and the teens run up and each take one. “I should go wash up for work tomorrow. It was nice talking to you Zelda. Maybe we should…do it again sometime?” The ginger nods. “Anytime.” With that you wave at Sabrina and everyone and make your exit to your room.
“What were you and Y/N talking about?” Hilda asks handing out cups.
“Nothing of importance to you, sister,” Zelda responds, getting up, annoyance in her voice. She walks past Hilda and grabs a cup for herself.

~•~
I knocked at the red wooden door of Spellman's mortuary house, fidgeting nervously, picking at the skin on my fingers.
"Coming!"
A sweet and pitched voice came from inside, and I could hear rapid footsteps aproaching the door.
I remembered the first time I came to that house, shivering, disheveled, crying. I had just lost all that was dear to me, my family and my friends, because... well, because of my sexuality. Living in such a small and old fashioned town was, at time, beautiful and relaxing. You knew everyone and everyone knew you. But, precisely for that, it was dangerous. When word spread that I was attracted to the same sex, everyone became cold and distant. They shot glares my way when I passed by, and they all decided that it was best not to speak to me. It was rough, it felt like the world crumbled and I was underneath it.
But Hilda and Zelda Spellman weren't like the others. They took me under their wings, made me a part of their family.
That horrendous night, Zelda was the one who opened the door. She immediately caught my eye, but I was too broken to understand that feeling in my chest. At first, she was distant and cold, just like everybody else, but, with time, she changed, she was sweet, and warm, and she made me feel at ease. She was my family, but I knew I wanted more. I just hadn't the guts to tell her, I was too afraid she would reject me, just like everybody else did.
"Oh Y/N dear! Please, come in, come in."
Hilda said, making me come back to the present. I smiled, thanking her.
Hilda was the sweetest woman I ever met. She was my new aunt, making me breakfast with all her love and dedication. When she saw me that night, she started tearing up. She was the one begging Zelda to let me in, and I was grateful she did. I was grateful for anything she did, really.
"Zelda, look who came!"
She said, almost jumping, with a wide smile on her face. I giggled, following her to the stairs.
At the top, I saw her, in all her glory. While Hilda was a cupcake, with her pink dress and white apron, Zelda was warm tea, with her red curls and black dress. She made me melt, the room suddenly caught fire and I was extremely hot.
I blushed when she shot me a glance, coming my way. I watched her every move while she descended from the stairs.
"Hey."
I said, almost screaming. I was so nervous and excited at the same time. I never thought a woman like her could exist but there she was, existing.
Her lips curved up, just for an istant, almost imperceptible, but I saw it. My heart jumped, and I almost felt like fainting.
"Whatever do we owe this visit to?"
I gulped, starting to play with the hem of my blouse.
"Well, I..."
I looked down, not bearing to look directly at her eyes. Those blue eyes, piercing right through my soul, I couldn't hold the gaze.
Hilda looked at me worried, putting a hand on my arm. I offered her a smile.
"Well, whatever you came here for, let me make you a cup of hot chocolate, what do you say?"
I nodded, clearing my throat.
"Y-yes, I would love that."
She hurriedly left the room for the kitchen, leaving me and Zelda alone. She was still gazing at me, with one lifted eyebrow. Maybe she could sense my nervousness, maybe not, but she came closer and, with one hand, she took my chin and made me look at her.
I gasped at the contact, gazing into her eyes.
"You seem nervous, Y/N."
I shook my head slightly, trying to regain my composure.
"Do not lie. I know there's something that's making you uneasy. Please, do tell."
I closed my eyes, inhaling. Well, here goes nothing.
"I-I... I like you, Zelda!"
I screamed. I opened my eyes, holding my breath.
Zelda looked at me shocked. Hilda came from the kitchen in a hurry.
"I heard screaming. Why are you screaming? What happened?"
She looked at me, than at Zelda. Both of us stood in silence, looking at eachother.
"Zelda! Did you do something?"
Zelda shifted her attention to her sister.
"I did certainly not. Now please, scurry off to the kitchen and leave us alone. We have a matter to discuss."
Hilda shot a glance my way, asking silently if I was alright. I nodded, smiling weakly.
"Fine. But please, be gentle with Y/N."
"Oh, I will be."
Hilda made her way to the kitchen, leaving me and Zelda alone, again.
"Pray, explain yourself."
I pulled at the collar of my blouse. I suddenly couldn't breath properly.
"W-well, I..."
Zelda got closer, towering over me. I felt so unsure and powerless, while she radiated confidence and power.
"Did the cat got your tongue?"
We were so close, I could smell her parfume, a hint of whiskey and smoke. Although I didn't like smoke, on her it smelled divine.
"I-I can explain..."
"Well, please do. That's what I'm waiting for."
She crossed her arms, and only then I noticed that the neckline of her dress let little to the immagination. And with her arms being crossed, her breasts looked so more inviting than usual.
I gulped, not being able to concentrate. I heard her chuckle and my eyes shot to hers.
"You like what you see?"
My face went red with shame. She probably thinks that I'm a pervert.
"I-I didn't mean... it's just that..."
She took one of my hands and put it on her breast. I looked at her in disbelief.
"W-what..."
We where so near I could count every little freckle on her face. A shiver went down my spine.
"Shush, you don't have to say anything, I know what you want."
"You... you do?"
She let out a guttural sound, low and dark.
"I sure do."
I licked my lips, instantly glancing at hers. She smirked.
"I want to hear you say it."
"I... please, kiss me."
I mumble. She gently pressed her lips to mine, only for a couple of seconds. The softness of her lips remained ingrained in my brain, and even when they were no longer on mine, I still could feel her kissing me.
"Is that enough?"
She said, her voice merely a whisper. My hand was still on her breast. It was as soft as her lips.
I looked up at her, trying to think straight but I just couldn't. All I could hear was her voice, all I could smell was her scent, all I could sense was the softness of her skin, all I could see was her.
"Speak, or else I'll let go."
I jumped slightly, not wanting for that to happen.
"N-no, I need more."
She arched an eyebrow.
"Please..."
She smirked, coming closer again. But once the gap between us was almost closed, we heard Hilda's voice from the kitchen.
"Hot chocolate on the way!"
Zelda quickly let go of my hand, making sure she was as far away from me as possible. Hilda came with a mug, as joyous as ever.
"Here you go, my little lady."
She handed me the mug and I didn't waste any time, drinking the warm chocolate. It was topped with whipped cream and marshmallows.
"It's delicious, thanks."
Zelda looked at me intensely while I tried to focus on the beverage. Hilda stood in front of us, smiling happily.
"I guess it's time you leave now, Y/N."
I looked up at Zelda, sadly.
"Why? She has just arrived!"
Said Hilda with her acute voice.
"She already took what she wanted to. She must leave."
I gazed at the floor. So that was it. She didn't like me, not how I liked her. Was she playing with me, then? Just a few moments ago... what was all of that? What did it mean to her?
"I insist, she should stay here for a while longer."
I finished the chocolate in one, big gulp and handed the mug to Hilda, who looked surprised.
"It's ok, I'll leave."
"But..."
"It's alright. Thank you for the chocolate, aunt Hilda."
I said, looking at her. Then I shifted my gaze to Zelda. I wished I could kiss her again, taste her on my lips, but I couldn't.
"Goodbye, Zelda."
I spinned around and left.

Perhaps I should get out of the habit of thinking about future games every time a novel and groundbreaking video game gets announced, but the endless potential is the best part for me, so let's talk about what Echoes of Wisdom could mean for the Zelda franchise if successful
Outcome 1: Playable Ganondorf
If Nintendo is willing to listen to our collective desire for a true Zelda game, there's now the possibility that they'll listen to the slightly quieter but still significant desire for a Ganondorf-led story in the Zelda universe
If Zelda's game is puzzle-focused (Wisdom), and Link's are exploration-focused (Courage), then Gandondorf's would be combat-focused (Power). Perhaps Nintendo could take inspiration from Dark Souls or Devil May Cry depending on whether they want to focus on difficulty or style, giving the player either a sense of earned skill or a power fantasy
I also wouldn't mind if we got other playable characters going forward, though aside from Ganondorf I can't really see any character being a big enough name to draw a general audience. Like Tingle is a super popular character in Japan, so he got a couple of games, but how likely is say, Midna to get her own game?
Though, she may not need to get her own game, per se, when instead...
Outcome 2: Other Playable Zeldas
It seems like Echoes of Wisdom takes place in the same era as Link's Awakening, assuming that Grezzo isn't just reusing the art style. If that's the case, then this is the same Zelda as in Link to the Past, which means that this story is expanding on that particular iteration of the Zelda bloodline
If they do more Zelda Zelda games, they'll certainly want to introduce or experiment with different mechanics rather than just doing the Echo mechanic ad infinitum, and the sheer number of Princesses they have to work with means that they have plenty of places to draw inspiration from while also being able to revisit each of their associated eras
Revisit Ocarina for a Sheik game. Revisit Wind Waker for a Tetra game. Revisit Skyward Sword to explore Zelda's relationship with the Goddess Hylia. Revisit Twilight Princess so she can team up with Midna. Revisit Adventure of Link to elaborate on the fact that there are two Zeldas running around there!
I'd love to learn more about Vaati and the Minish, or Byrne and the Lokomo, or Hilda and Lorule! Whether these are sequels or interquels, Zelda's perspective in each of these eras would be such a great opportunity to expound on the franchise's lore
Not to mention Breath of the Wild's Zelda! I know they said they won't do another sequel in that era, but Zelda's time in the past in Tears of the Kingdom could easily have been its own game! If they want to continue on with the Breath/Tears style, I really think that Zelda herself would be a fantastic way to keep things fresh
Of course, there's also the distinct possibility of...
Outcome 3: NEW Eras
Rather than recycle old content, Nintendo could just continue to add new eras and iterations of the reincarnation cycle as they always have and just bounce back and forth between using Link and Zelda based on which they feel is more appropriate for the story or mechanics they feel like designing around
Thinking of novel ways to shoehorn a plotline into existing Zelda stories might be difficult, especially if doing so would require contradicting or negating major elements of said stories. Doing something for the sake of being cool goes to waste if it just pisses off the fanbase, so it might be better to just make something wholly new
The Echo mechanic is kind of out of nowhere anyway, there's nothing about it that requires it be in the Hero of Legend era, or even that it be an ability unique to Zelda specifically. Link's a blank slate, but one who always holds a sword, so the overall gameplay of the franchise has a pretty consistent throughline. If Zelda keeps getting her own games, they'll likely keep coming up with new magic-based puzzle-centric mechanics to differentiate her from Link, but each one will feel completely distinct from the others, possibly to the point of being unrecognizable aside from sharing the name alone
However, it's also possible that there will be one particular throughline to make them feel consistent...
Outcome 4: 2D/3D Split
As I said, Nintendo has gone on record that they plan for the 3D Zeldas to be in the open-world Wild era style for the foreseeable future, and it's been almost a decade since the last 2D Zelda at all (assuming you count Tri Force Heroes, and if not, it's been well OVER a decade since Link Between Worlds), so it really does seem like Nintendo has been moving away from that style
Until today, that is. With Echoes of Wisdom, it's clear that Nintendo hasn't completely abandoned the more traditional top-down style, and instead may be attempting to give it more of its own distinct identity. It's a great opportunity to rebrand, as one of the reasons they may have been hesitant to make 2D games was for fear of muddling the brand. I personally think that would be silly if true, but I also will embrace this excuse to revisit my preferred form of Zelda gameplay
I'm not saying that they'll permanently make the 2D games exclusive to Zelda herself, but it does seem like something that might become emblematic of the current era until there's either another change in artistic direction or in management
None of these possibilities are mutually exclusive, and there are certainly other possibilities than what I've projected. There may not be any intention of making a Zelda-led franchise, or they might specifically root this series in this specific iteration of the Zelda character with different abilities
Whatever happens, whatever Nintendo chooses to do with this section of the series, I'm extremely excited for Echoes of Wisdom and I look forward to the breath of fresh air it brings to the franchise as a whole

A Link Between Worlds Zelda
Design
So far the last offender in our list of Zeldas who are different people but look the same. At least this is an improvement from the ALttP design on many of the fronts I complained about: the crest is easier to see at least in this lightning, the stripes are all similar, and they dropped the weird stripe-stripe from her hem. But looking at the design concepts makes me sad because we could have had a brand new design...
Since the game is something of a half-remake of ALttP the reused design makes at least some sense (though I still don't condone it!), and it pairs well with Hilda's darker look.
I'm not really into the art style of the ALbW (as in how the character models look in-game), something about them looks somehow doll-like. But I must admit that I don't much care for the Toon style or the new Toy style either so I'm a full fledged hater on this front.
Character
Zelda has the usual friendly and polite princess personality again, but this time she speaks noticeably formally all the time, which makes her memorable enough. And honestly the most princessy princess in the lineup so far too. In the end there's not a lot to her, her character begins and ends with a pretty standard ideal princess, but I dunno, I still like her a lot because she's just so nice and the way she speaks so politely makes her come across funnily chill about all the strangeness that goes on in the story.
Role in the story
Plot-wise Zelda is pretty passive this time around, she sends Link on a mission and is then damseled for the rest of the game. And since there are a lot more actual memorable characters compared to the likes of ALttP, Zelda's short scene in the beginning doesn't really make her stand out that much as the main goal. She doesn't perform any big magic tricks herself either, and her contribution to the final showdown is just creating the bow of light for Link to use.
I'd say her most meaningful contribution to the story is in the final scene, where she and Link find the Triforce and use it to wish for Hilda to have a second Triforce (even after she spent the entire game trying to steal theirs). Though that's not really because of her as a character on her own, and more about how it's nice to have someone who can talk in that scene so Link doesn't have to mime everything.
In general I still like ALbW Zelda; her character and role are pretty simple, but still enough for this game.
Relationships
Zelda has the standard relationships with Impa and Link; the former does the usual advisor and nursemaid role, while Link is the hero who goes on her quest. This time Link and Zelda are not childhood friends and instead only know each other for a couple of minutes before Link sets off and she gets turned into a painting before they meet again. They do have some connection in that Zelda had seen Link in her dream, but it's not explored any further and is pretty much there just to offer some explanation why she is ready to offer her most prized family keepsake magic amulet to Link, who is a complete stranger to her at this point.
At the end of the game Zelda and Link arrive at the Triforce, and Zelda says she knows Link has the same idea on how to use it as her. I really like this scene, but it relies on the player having grown to care about Hilda and Ravio, rather than Zelda and Link having any kind of special connection or being a culmination of their combined efforts as a team (since Zelda didn't do all that much in this game).
I'd say that ALbW Zelda is at her best when contrasted with Hilda. Even if they don't get a lot of time to interact, just the idea of this darker and edgier version of her is super interesting to me, and for that it works well for the game that this version of Zelda is particularly friendly and sweet. Zelda is pretty forgiving towards Hilda right away and tries to talk things out and say how as a princess she understands Hilda's duty to her people. Which doesn't work, but Ravio being the one to get Hilda to come to her senses is a much better solution anyway.
In general Link, Zelda, Ravio and Hilda make for a pretty good group of characters with plenty of room for interactions between each pair for the fans to imagine, even if the game itself doesn't have that much canon material.

I'm gonna say something crazy......but what if Ravio isn't Lorule's holder of the Triforce of Courage.......but rather........the Triforce of Wisdom....? I mean think about it.
Ravio's proven that he's clever and when things get to be out of his control he chooses the wisest choice and goes with it. While that in itself is brave going against everything you've ever known for the greater good, it's also was the wisest thing too.
Ravio knew that Yuga was using Hilda, he knew that there was something wrong with the whole situation. And his first response was to try and tell Hilda and give her advice. Only for her to blow him off in favor of Yuga. So he chooses the next thing. Getting help from an outside source. Or rather finding Link and getting him to help. And he planned ahead enough to make magical items and the bracelet that would help Link in his journey. Which if I remember correctly, holders of Wisdom tend to be incredibly good with magic.
Like strategy wise, that's scarily smart on his part. Him acknowledging that he's not strong enough to take Yuga on alone was him being wise enough to know when he needed to back off. There's also the tips and tricks Ravio gives to Link during his adventure, often times those things being words of caution when it comes to certain things or places. And then there's the final scene where Ravio confronts Hilda, and tells her that what she was doing was the same mistake her ancestors did when it came to the Triforce. But the way he says it, he says it as an attempt to wake Hilda up to the madness she'd brought to Lorule. By telling her to think and be wise. Ravio in a sense is a voice of reason and is capable of making wise and clever decisions that end up helping not only saving Lorule, but Hyrule as well. As well as helping Link and by extension Zelda and Hilda.
I think Ravio being the holder of the Triforce of Wisdom could actually be a thing when you think about it. Like he's not only incredibly brave and he's wise as well and I think it suits him.

In celebration of my upcoming graduation I‘ve been replaying A Link between Worlds as the first loz title I ever finished, and like. Y‘all this game is really good. Some things I‘ve noticed, now that I‘m playing it as someone who has been to school and learnt about characters, story analysis, and as someone who just wants to rant about it (naturally, spoilers abound below, though I cant imagine anyone not knowing about the gist? It‘s an old game, after all):
In Zelda‘s office, there are hearts in the corners of the room. In Hilda‘s, there aren‘t. However, once you reach Zelda‘s office, there‘s not really an urgent need for you to heal up anymore, especially since you can get hearts out of pots shortly before. As such, they most likely hold metaphorical value (aka the developers ship Zelink).
Perhaps a bit obvious, but maybe one of the most jarring things to notice as a first-time player is the contrast between the symbol of the triforce on the pink carpet in Zelda‘s office and the upside down triforce on Hilda‘s purple one. I still think that‘s an awesome choice storytelling-wise.
Immediately outside of Hilda‘s office, there are torches with the same kind of colorful fire that Yuga‘s staff has in his second boss fight.
Speaking of his second boss fight, why the fuck are the two walls that go down/up with his defeat so colorful? Just why? It looks like lego.
The first time when the little witch‘s broom gets me without her and it just goes „…“ still hurts just as much. I love Irene.
DAMN, Impa has a big nose in her portrait.
Wow, that little bit with fatphobia and Oreen really went over my head as a child.
Ganny doesn‘t even get to say one word in his first scene, huh? Goes to show who‘s really the boss.
Love how we see Link being woken up twice and both times have to do with the forge.
That place where we find Gully‘s bag has birds and squirrels and the place with the master sword also does… foreshadowing? Probably.
The wife of Lorule‘s blacksmith can talk all she wants about hating children, but she did pick me up from the road and lay me on the table instead of the ground.
Why does Hilda get to be Queen and Zelda doesn‘t? The latter part of the question is only I pose everyday about every game.
That bit where Yuga says he dislikes Zelda‘s haircolor but still finds the portrait beautiful shows how he really doesn‘t care about the actual looks of the people he hunts down, only who they are and if he needs them/if they pose a threat or annoyance to him. This is also why he finds Link himself ugly; Yuga attributes beauty to character as he subjectively perceives it. (I really don’t know if that sentence works?? English isn’t my first language; but I’m also not gonna look up the words). HOWEVER,Yuga also compliments Zelda‘s facial features. As we‘ve established, he doesn‘t care about the looks themselves, so maybe there‘s a correlation with Zelda and Hilda being counterparts. Yuga knows Hilda and might think of her positively, which is why he finds the superficial features they share beautiful.
From Ravio‘s identity reveal, we learn that he somewhat knows how to do the Basic Human Interaction Thing. So why‘s he so obnoxious when he‘s literally asking to live in my house because he‘s a fugitive back home or something??? Is he trying to be quirky? To seem like a non-scammer so I‘ll take his items? Those items are the only thin in Hyrule that‘ll get me through the dungeons, why does he think he has to kiss my feet to endear himself to me??
I choose to believe that, since no other person even shows knowledge of the existence of Ravio‘s items save for Osfala, that they do not exist anywhere else. So where did he acquire them? In the diary in his house, he mentions having magic, and magic runs in the items as well, in form of the meter that runs out to the side. Maybe he invented them. He does mention not being brave, but being smart in the ending when he reveals himself.
That stinky armband. What‘s the trigger for its use? In the game, Link gets put into time-out (the wall). Is the trigger just being put in there by someone else?
I love how some characters just tend to break the fourth wall. Gully and his dad with the saving, Ravio with the quick switch for the items, Mother Maiamai (her name‘s Mama Maimai in german, btw, thus she will be henceforth referred to as Mama) with the maimai map… also the old man introducing you to streetpass. The latter is also referenced by the rumor guy in the woods as extremely dangerous and keen on keeping his secrets.
Skulls sure are a choice of decoration for Ravio‘s little yard. Makes me wonder if he maybe used those as intimidation tactic, or maybe, judging by just how many there are in Lorule, they‘re just plants that evolved to look that way for the exact same purpose. (There’s probably some parallels between Ravio and the plants with mimicry here.) But then again, why would so many be in the dungeons?
Irene and Mama know each other?? Over her grandmother maybe?
The merchant at Lake Hylia proves that Lorule has more than one language, which is more than Hyrule can say of itself. But like, if Lorule is supposedly a mirrored image of Hyrule, then this means that that is only in the landscape and some characteristics of the people born there, p.e. Ravio and Link being similar in terms of looks, but not in character. They do not have a similar development in (I would bet on) anything else, also as proven by Boris‘ counterpart, or rather his death decades before the hyrulean version‘s.
Thee are speaking animals in Lorule. There are giant speaking turtles in Lorule. Nobody questions this. Speaking animals are normal. The only speaking animal in Hyrule is Mama, and she is hidden away in a cave. What the fuck?
(They also have tiny dragons as ravens. This is so important, personally.)
Why is the hylian shield in a Lorule dungeon?
The great fairies look like they could have been Kokiri once upon a time. At least now we know what happened to them in this time line.
Are those dragon statues on the outside of the palace of darkness??? (Okay, maybe that‘s just because these guys worship monsters, but dragons are cool as hell in every situation. At the very least, they‘ve got taste.(They kinda look like Toothless-))
Once you free the fourth sage, you get a cutscene with Hilda telling you about a Hero of Lorule long ago. I get that Ravio is supposed to be the present Hero of Lorule, but like……… I wanna know about that former hero. New game with that hero?? Pls?
Okay, the priest in Lorule‘s church basically tells us the silver triforce was destroyed three years ago. What happened between then and before Ravio‘s appearance at our doorstep??
Where do the monster cult members go after the dark palace???
I LOVE THE BOMB FLOWER MERCHANT!!! Also, does he call Link Thunder Flower Kid/Bomb Flower Kid in the english version, too? I probably won‘t bother to google that.
You know that cellar you need to go through the enter the church for the first time? Yeah, in the lorulean version, there are bats whose body consists of only a giant eyeball. I can‘t help but wonder if perhaps Vaati somehow caught a glimpse of them before he stole the minish cap… But for that to be possible, it has to exist in that same timeline, so idk.
THERE ARE LITTLE CUTE GHOSTS ON THE MAP AT LORULE‘S GRAVEYARD. OH MY GOD.
The fortune teller and the witch should‘ve had a happy ending. I don‘t care about Zelda, let me play matchmaker, Nintendo.
Mama has one hundred children. The fact that her species seems to thrive on the principle of „get many children, be happy if only a few survive“ tells us that barely any of them will live much longer. On that account, where are the other Parent Maimais? I propose that she has eaten her mate like praying mantises (what‘s the plural?) do.
I really like the floor pattern of the skull wood dungeon.
Going by the sound those eyeballs make when you throw them, they‘ve got to have a jelly consistency. I think they‘d be tasty, like those sour halloween eyeballs. Do they have those outside of Germany? I don‘t know, I never hear about them anywhere else.
When I played through the skull wood dungeon, my cat was laying on the bed with me, and the mattress vibrated from his purring. Very important info.
Wait wait wait. There are not lorulean counterparts for any of the sages, except for Zelda (Hilda). Why?? Did Yuga get rid of them all for some reason and nobody tells us? If they existed at all, then it would somewhat explain why Hilda vaguely knows the sages themselves? (I know I‘m contradicting that one point from earlier that there‘s no correlation between counterparts except for sheer existence, but eh.)
If I could be bothered to, this would be a ALbW hinox hate account, okay? But get this… the hinoxen on the ice mountain wear sweaters to not freeze.
The signs up to the ice dungeon sure are a mood. It feels like I‘m in a movie, together with the music that slaps unreasonably hard.
I hate the ice dungeon.
Okay, in the North American French localization, it‘s implied that Ravio made up his name when he met Link and like??? Why?? Did he also make up Sheerow‘s name??
Who the hell even is Yuga? Why can he go 2d?
Okay, so Lorule‘s triforce was destroyed in a civil war to avoid constant conflict. Cool. The fact that they even had a triforce means that they were visited by the goddesses, so some form of their counterparts. After the triforce - evidence of those godesses‘ favor - was destroyed, the kingdom fell into ruin. That‘s so much pettier than greek tragedies where only a bloodline is cursed at most.
#legend of zelda#legend of zelda a link between worlds#a link between worlds#long text post#this little project was a lot of fun#i only thought to start this when i finished off yuga a second time so everything‘s a little out of order#might even add some more but those will go into rbs

He's a charmer - Ambrose Spellman x M!Reader
"More mashed potatoes dear?" Hilda asks, holding the bowl in front of you and your nearly empty plate.
"Yes please, thank you again for inviting me to dinner, it's incredibly delicious," you smile at her, taking the bowl and scooping another giant helping onto your plate.
"Well Ambrose hasn't stopped talking about you for weeks, we just had to meet his new boyfriend," Zelda says, sipping her wine.
"And when he said you had a mighty appetite I knew you would be a keeper," Hilda jokes.
"Hilda loves anyone who compliments her cooking," Zelda cracks.
"I wish I could eat food this good every night and of course I couldn't wait to meet the great Spellman's, we may not be from the same coven but your family is highly respected in the black rose society I mean becoming high priestess of the church of night and the dean of the academy of unseen arts is very impressive Ms. Spellman," you tell her.
"Why thank you Y/N and please, call me Zelda," she says smiling at the compliments making Sabrina roll her eyes.
"What can I say, he's a charmer," Ambrose says leaning in to kiss your cheek.
"Now I can see why you've been spending so much time Astral projecting to Dorian Grey's club," Hilda chuckles.
You take another bite of your food with one hand under the table but it isn't resting on your lap, it's resting on Ambrose's.
He doesn't think anything of it at first and goes to retell the story of the night you met however his words get caught in his throat when he feels your hand inching closing to the center of his pants.
"um and then he said his friends uh, his friends said he wouldn't have the guts to ask me to dance," he stammers.
"You okay honey?" Hilda asks.
"Yes auntie," Ambrose coughs as you carefully unzip his pants, fingertips grazing the outline of his cock through his underwear.
"I saw this handsome man from across the club and my friends immediately knew I was into him," you laugh, his cock getting harder under your touch, "can you imagine my surprise when I found out he wasn't even actually there but astral projecting."
"Are witches and warlocks even allowed to date outside of their covens?" Sabrina questions.
"It's not exactly encouraged but there's no laws against it," Zelda states.
You tug his underwear down far enough to let his cock spring free, making a light tapping noise as it hits the underside of the table and you begin slowly stroking him, "my parents weren't happy when I told them I was seeing someone outside of the black rose society but when they found out Ambrose was a spellman it was an entirely different story, isn't that right love?"
Ambrose gulps, struggling to not let out a moan when your hand lowers to start massaging his balls.
"Yes, Mr. and Mrs. Y/L/N would love to meet you sometime aunties," he mumbles.
"This would be a wonderful opportunity to bring more of an alliance between the covens," Hilda says happily.
"Of course, the church of night is dawning a new day so why not make new friends," Zelda states.
"I didn't know you had friends," Sabrina teases.
"Hush Sabrina," Zelda says brushing it off.
Ambrose twitches when your hand moves from the tip of his cock all the way to the base and nearly jumps out of his seat.
"Ambrose are you sure you're okay?" Hilda questions more concerned this time at his odd behavior.
"If you will excuse me I must go to the restroom," Ambrose says, covering himself the best he could and rushing off.
"Do you think he's caught the bug that's going around?" Hilda asks, "A couple of students at the academy have missed multiple classes because of it, I hope I didn't bring it home to him."
"I should go check on Ambrose, excuse me," you say, getting up from the table and following after him.
You find Ambrose in the restroom upstairs, groaning at how hard and throbbing he is.
"That was very cheeky of you Y/N," Ambrose huffs, leaning against the sink counter showing off what you did to him.
"Let me take care of that for you," you grin, sinking to your knees and taking him in your mouth.
Ambrose finally lets out the moan he's been holding in as you bob your head.
"My god," he grunts when you grip the base and expertly suck the tip.
Within seconds he's cumming in your mouth, grabbing at the counter to hold himself steady.
You swallow some but get back to your feet and spit the rest into the sink, turning the faucet on to wash it down the drain.
"Clean yourself up and come back downstairs, your aunt Hilda mentioned she made a crumb cake for dessert," you say casually.
"You will be the death of me Y/N Y/L/N," he sighs, shaking his head and grabbing a towel to wipe off the drops of cum stained on his pants.
You return downstairs and take your seat just as Hilda starts to cut the cake.
"Is Ambrose alright?" Zelda asks you.
"Oh yes, he'll be down in a minute he just felt flushed, must be that bug you mentioned Hilda," you smile innocently.

Someone asked me some great questions about R&R Ravio on Ao3 and I wrote an entire essay in response. It seems a shame for it to languish there, so it's getting chucked to the tumblr void as well!
I'm paraphrasing the questions but they were, roughly:
Is the relationship emotionally fulfilling for Ravio too?
Does Ravio have self-worth issues like Link does?
And whether he gets nervous when trying new things with Link/if he's always been nervous.
Readmore for length, minor spoilers, and non-explicit mentions of sex.
Some of this I'd already thought about and decided on, some of it I am winging and reserve the right to possibly change my mind on later.
Ravio is nervous in general and was at the start of their relationship too! He hid behind the hood and the exaggerated persona we see so much of in the game. Part of his development has been opening up and letting Link see him, both figuratively and literally. He has actually gained a lot of confidence over the course of the series. Putting the hood on during a rough sex scene is a tool for him and his mental state in the same way some of the toys he uses on Link are tools to help Link get into the right mindset. So some of his nerves come from when he's trying not to lean on those tools, or like the first time they had sex where Link could actually see his face: he was very nervous then. He's usually not nervous about introducing new kinky things because he's good at reading people in general and increasingly Link in particular. He's a salesman at heart; he knows how to present things so they'll appeal to the person he's talking to. He's got a pretty solid idea now on the kinds of things Link likes, what he'll tolerate, and what Link might be nervous about but will probably enjoy anyway. There are some things he hasn't wanted to risk trying, though.
Their relationship is emotionally fulfilling for him too! He does find great satisfaction in their sex life. He likes the control. It's an ego boost to be able to do those things to THE HERO, and successfully navigating Link's emotions and physical reactions so they both come away satisfied makes him feel very good about himself. It's manipulation in a way that he can feel good about! But as anyone wise will tell you, caretakers sometimes need people to lean on too. Ravio asking for gentle sex is him expressing a need that isn't getting entirely fulfilled. It's something they will continue to work on so Ravio can be happy in the relationship long-term. Link being okay with visiting Lorule and going with Ravio was one little example of the ways Link can be supportive of Ravio in return. As time goes on and Ravio continues to open up about himself, Link will keep discovering other ways he can contribute to Ravio's emotional well-being. Ravio's traumas are a little less obvious than Link's in part because of the point of view and in part because his are older and he's had more time to deal with them, but they are present and they will likely start to come out more over time. So in a way, yes, for now he is taking on the larger emotional load of the two of them, but I believe that is true of nearly anyone who is in a relationship with someone who is unwell in the way Link is unwell. That doesn't mean it will stay that way, or that he's not getting enough out of it even now to be happy.
Ravio's primary self-worth issue comes from him actually thinking of himself a coward. (He berates himself for leaving Lorule to get help, for example, even though it worked out and both Hilda and Zelda have told him he made the right choice. And all involved have acknowledged how difficult that choice was.) He also knows that some of the things he's good at (i.e. manipulation) can be pretty sleazy. He's done plenty of less than moral things in his life to survive. But he considers himself worthy of love, and he's found ways to make at least some peace with his talents. So that's a 50/50 on the self worth issues. More on this one TBD.

By far, the very best part of Sabrina, the teenage witch, is Salem (when he isn't being pervy towards friends of sabrina). He is a menace, he is self-serving, and I love that he is but a puppet of a cat, not some cgi monstrosity. Yet he alone as a character does not make up for all the wrongdoings of the show.
I remember seeing the occasional episodes as a child and being OBSESSED with the family dynamic. I mean!! Two aunts raising a teenage girl with their evil cat what more could you want!! In every other series at the time it was all very traditional families. Mother father daughter son.
In the last year, I binged most of the series, but after a while, I stopped watching. Right around the time, the two aunts, one after another, got written off the show in the WEIRDEST ways possible! We had Zelda who got turned into a child version of herself through hijinks and as far as I remember a sacrifice (which honestly could have been fun IF they would have committed to it; have sabrina take care of zelda, have them switch roles or whatever, have the adult stuck in a child's body be the mature parental figure to the young adult so many options). But noooo. She just goes off as a child, and she is never seen again (?). Then worst of all. HILDA. why did they have to do hilda so dirty! They just turn her into a boy crazy lady who wants a husband and nothing else. In the beginning of the series, the two sisters would date, but it wasn't this desperation that it later turned into. And hilda ends up with a guy who turns up out of nowhere, and they barely know each other, and then she falls off the face of the planet as well! I know this show isn't exactly the most consistent and maybe I had too high expectations but in the beginning I cannot stress enough that it felt like the interesting and unusual dynamic was celebrated and then later it seemed like the show turned on its head and shamed that same dynamic.
Also, the heart of the show was the relationship betweent he aunts and sabrina (+salem)!! Sabrina's best friends disappear without any mention of them, and then they just write a copy-paste version of the same character for her to hang around with. Harvey is blah? So to put the focus of the show on the friendships that they have not developed is just one bad idea after another. A disappointing turn of events for a heartwarming show.
#sabrina the teenage witch#salem saberhagen#zelda and hilda deserved better#it all happened so fast in the same episode#i got whiplash watching it unfold#and then the next season is just a snore fest

Everything About Lorule
@ikaishere made some beautiful art of Lorule and so i’ve decided to spill everything i can about them. enjoy <3
> from hcau <
general/pre-hcau stuff:
i said earlier that Lorule’s 19 but i changed my mind!! he’s like 22-23 :)
ravio and her have the weirdest fucking relationship. there’s so many rumors about what’s going on. like they’re roommates. theyre best friends. they’re business owners. they’re married. they pine helplessly. they make out sloppy style. they’re afraid of the other rejecting them. they’ve been dating for years. they insult the hell out of each other. they wax poetics about each other. they’re in a qpr. they’re married for tax benefits. they’re in love romantically. they’re somehow both each other’s sugar daddy.
and then the truth is that Ravio’s very nervously working up the courage to ask them out. meanwhile Lorule thinks they’ve been dating for months. also they’re married for tax benefits.
Lo gives Rav a kiss on the cheek and thinks abt how much she loves his partner. meanwhile Rav’s like “haha. just bros being bros right??? 😃 he couldn’t possibly be into me right???? i have no chance??????” they’re sleeping in the same bed and Lorule’s wrapped around Ravio and he’s still convinced that Lo’s just a really friendly person
Lorule’s incredibly sweet and energetic and goes with the flow of things very well but on the inside the alarm bells are screaming 24/7. there’s so much behind those eyes and it’s called unspeakable anxiety.
she’s originally from Hytopia! he lived there for 14 years, but ran away to Hyrule after his mom died. yeah that’s right not only is this bitch a fucking ginger, they’re also french.
Growing up in Hytopia means that they’re good at sewing, knitting, crocheting, embroidery, macrame, etc.
because of this, she’s got eye strain, minor scoliosis + back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, and joint pain. they stretch and everything pops.
their accent is thick as hell, too. i have a fic that’s half-way written abt it that should be out sooner or later actually !!
before ALBW, she had a huge fear of heights and getting over it was really difficult. once she ended up sobbing while practically paralyzed on a floating, unstable, moving platform that was hundreds of feet above lava, just trying to get herself to jump off of it and onto the next platform below. understanding that they’re brave despite their fears is something he and Ravio are getting through together lmao
he likes marmalade. and birds
they’re simultaneously very very silly and jarringly blunt
they used to not curse much but Ravio’s rotten mouth wore off on them and it’s incredibly funny. once they tripped over a rock and let out the most vile string of curses known to man, only to get up and make direct eye contact with a horrified priest
their sense of humor is a mix of the worst puns in existence and incredibly clever innuendos or sex jokes
music is a crazy important part of Lorulian culture, so he and Rav sing together all the time :) he’s gotten pretty good at it too
speaking of Ravio, he’s got the worlds’ worst New Jersey accent. it’s the Lorulian accent but he’s undeniably got it the worst. overhearing him and Lo talk causes constant whiplash.
not a fan of ghosts or poes
he sleeps like a fucking rock. Gulley has to get creative to actually wake them up in the morning, because if he doesn’t she’s sleeping well past noon
BESTIES with Irene. they shit talk :)
he’s also very good friends with Zelda and Styla, and is in the process of forming a better personal relationship with Hilda
not necessarily the smartest when it comes to the more scholarly things. most of it flies right over his head lmao. Ravio has tried to explain politics to him several times and it’s never worked. however!! she’s very smart when it comes to hands-on things (and counting and measurements—those are essential to most crafts.)
complicated relationship with the concept of beauty. very very complicated relationship.
idolized the hell out of Oracle when they were younger. yes their mind breaks for a good while when they first meet them and realize he’s a total fucking loser jackass.
she’s always doing something. it’s both out of fear of being seen as lazy and out of a need for an outlet for their energy
fantastic depth perception
their map was their mom’s!! it’s crazy fuckin faded but he refuses to buy a new one
unofficially a part of the blacksmith’s family. it’s sort of like an open secret, everyone knows it but no one talks about it
he’s crazy close with Gulley, they hang out all the time. don’t let their constant teasing and playful bickering fool you, they would die for each other. they’re siblings your honor.
the blacksmith’s wife (i’ve named her Giulia) made her her clothes. Giulia might not be the best seamstress, but Lorule full on sobbed when she first put it on. something something, mommy issues and emotional healing, you get it
she does odd jobs and favors around town all the time. her off-days are spent roaming through Kakariko, sewing up holes in a clothes, fixing fences, delivering packages, babysitting, that sort of stuff. everyone in town is very familiar with and fond of him as a result.
hcau stuff:
out of the chain, they’re closest with Ages, Wild, and Oracle.
Ages because they’re both really creative people and Ages feels super comfortable around them because of his prior experiences with Ravio.
also. ok listen. i’ve been pondering adding a sort of tragic romance element to this au bc i am obsessed with the “maybe if things were different, if we were different, if we were in another life, we could’ve been” trope. i’m rlly interested in exploring the quiet acknowledgement that something is there accompanied by the quiet refusal to do anything because they both know that they’ll never see each other again once the journey is over. and idk man Ages and Lorule are kind of perfect for that 👀
regardless of if i pursue that route or not, their character arcs are very closely linked and they deal with and get through a lot of shit together :)
Wild because they’re both genderfluid and Lorule really admired their relationship with fashion. Wild rocks the most atrocious outfits with a confidence that’s an inch away from becoming hubris. also they talk abt magic jewelry and clothes together.
and Oracle because holy shit this hero i’ve idolized all my life is actually a total fucking loser in desperate need of psychiatric assistance i have got to help them. also Lo can sniff out a closeted trans kid from miles away. also also they talk abt magic jewelry and clothes together.
very good at conflict resolution. they’ve done the whole “working together” thing before and they’re damn good at it
because of how close they are with Gulley, they’re very good with the younger heroes. he doesn’t act condescendingly or keep information from them cause Gulley rants about how people do that to him all the time
heavily disagrees with how much Red and Prism sugarcoat things. she’s civil about it but definitely hates how slow they peel the bandaid off
after a big battle he’ll often volunteer for first watch, and stay up for second as well. he makes the excuse of needing to work on repairing tunics, but really it’s his anxiety going fucking apeshit.
they love listening to the others’ musical talents. they’re shit at instruments themself so they just sit there and enjoy the show whenever someone starts playing. and then of course Ages ratted on them being able to sing (Ravio had told him that she could during the war) and they were then promptly dragged into the shows
if it weren’t for Loft and their chronic fatigue Lorule would be the first to start snoozing almost every night
whenever the chain is in Lorule’s Hyrule and near Kakariko village, they’ll have dinner with the blacksmiths + Ravio
Wind, Wild, and Lorule band together to braid everyone’s hair. braid trains are a common thing to see during rests
there’s so much more but i can’t tell bc it spoils stuff so that’s it for now T.T sorry for typos
#i need to make one of these posts for all of them. i need y’all to understand how much i think abt these fellas.#hcau lorule#hcau ravio#bc he’s in here a lot lmao#hcau#hero’s call au#links meet au#ALSO. SORRY THIS TOOK ME SO LONG TO TYPE UP AHDKKDW#school was difficult for a moment there ahjakdka#listen man i got albw recently and it’s made developing lo so much easier. crazy ik#so many damn thoughts abt this guy swarming around in my mind like bees

For muns with multiple muses, past and present, on any blog.
Rules: Fill out the form according to which muse suits each title best. (The same muse can have multiple titles.) Repost and tag. Feel free to add more!
Favorite Muse: Lilith over on my single-muse. I adore her completely and she’s just...yeah definite favourite. But if I’m picking just off this blog..that’s difficult because they’re all quite different. Like, how can I pick between Giselle and Zelda? Or Sabrina and Scully? You know, let’s just stick with Lilith is my favourite, and not complicate things, haha.
Most Character Development: Again, that would probably be Lilith. Mainly because she goes through A LOT within her canon, and exploring that canon and then exploring more things through threads means she just naturally develops a lot. Other than her it would probably be Sabrina or Scully, simply because they prove to be the most popular muses at the moment with people which means more threads, which means more development.
Trash Muse: Luci. He aims to be trash. The kind of trash that sets itself on fire and then turns out to not be trash but actually all of your prized possessions which he set on fire because he was bored.
The Meme-Lord: Luci.
Most Likely to Start a War: Again, Luci. For Funsies.
Worst Personality: Luci. Because of all of the above.
Most Attractive Muse: Too many gorgeous to choose. But personally, I’d say Lilith.
Biggest Heart: Giselle, hands down.
Falls in Love Quickest: Sabrina. She wouldn’t admit it but it’s true.
Most Likely to Drop Their Phone in the Toilet: Mary. While jumping nervously at something.
Ice Ruler: Zelda. Even if she’s a squishy mess of emotional caramel undernerth, she can ice people out as if it’s her professional career.
The Edgelord: Lilith.
Most Tragic Backstory: Lilith.
Best Case of Puberty: As in, they left awkwardness behind and blossomed into confidence and beauty? We’ll give that to Brennan.
Most Awkward: Mary.
Busy Bee: Depends what’s defined as the busiest kind of busy. Lilith is always sorting out shit and ruling Hell and clearing up Sabrina related messes, Hilda is always busy doing one thing or another and getting involved in people’s lives, Scully is always working and has a roller-coaster of a life, and Brennan has worked hard her entire life and is in constant demand.
Most Clueless: I wouldn’t say any are clueless, but Giselle is incredibly innocent and naive which I think puts her here.
Most Likely to Forget Their Wallet at Home: Hilda. Because she’d be distracted by doing something else.
Best Dressed: Lilith and Zelda tie for this, I think.
Biggest Flirt: None of them are very flirty (except in cases of doing it for the sake of manipulation) but Zelda is hyper sexual.
Most Dramatic: Sabrina. Everything is drama with that girl. Everything.
Least Likely to Show Up Late: Brennan.
One with Weirdest Habit: Scully. She has hidden depths of weirdness.
Most Likely to Be Caught at the Gym: Luci. Simply to switch around all the weights and labels so everything ends up in chaos.

Hello fellow, Witches and Warlocks, Witch Hunters and Humans,
Let me introduce you to World Of Unseen Arts. Have you ever wondered how it would feel to live in Greendale and follow the footsteps of Sabrina Spellman? To be part of the chilling adventures of sabrina or sabrina the teenage witch fandom? To be able to have a place to worship old gods, the dark lord, lilith or moon goddess Hecate and continue what Zelda Spellman has created? Or maybe you’d rather make potions like Hilda. The options are endless.
While the site setting is a lot darker in itself, taking after the netflix series vibes, the cartoon is not excluded at all as we do have multiple elements returning into the site which makes that you have the best of both worlds. We may be a site that's more on the smaller site but it's not like any other as we have a very tight community. You always see the same faces everyday who are very happy to interact with you. Our site is also still very active in the text-based roleplaying department, which means that there is always a topic going on, and very juicy rumors to discover. So it's a small but still very active and tight community who genuinely enjoys creativity and encourages thinking through your characters and encourages to really create a bond with your characters.
On WoUA you learn roleplaying in a text-based way and using your characters in a way that you probably haven’t thought about yet. Our creativity goes wild! And we want YOU! Especially you! We need to grow our amazing community who enjoys roleplaying AND who also really enjoys the vibes that our site setting has. Will you join us and enter the path of night? Or will you choose the good side and take the path of light? Or will you follow the footsteps of Harvey Kinkle and learn how to hunt instead? Or maybe you just want to be that human sidekick running around with a baseball bat. You can be everything you desire in Greendale. AND even have the jobs you desire!
Our staff is looking for a couple new colleagues who want to join the ranks and we have quite a lot of vacancies that are still open, because of that you can let your creativity run wild and choose the one thing that fits your character best! And the only thing that you absolutely need to be to join is 15+ so stop hesitating and join us! https://worldofunseenarts.com/
The positions we are looking for are:
- Minister of Histories (BS), HoH - Order of Hecate, Teacher of Necromancy (4y - 7y), Teacher of Magical Objects (1y - 4y), Teacher of Humans & Witch Celebrations (1y - 5y), Teacher of Hunting (1y - 4y), Teacher of Myths & Legends (3y - 7y), Teacher of History (1y - 7y), Teacher of Demonology (1y - 7y), Study Director of Proff Football (3y) (GRAD COURSE), Study Director of Blood Magic (2y) (GRAD COURSE)

FINALLY! After a little while of work I’ve finally designed and drew each of the main races for Lorule! So that means, LORULE HEADCANONNNNNNNN!!!!! 8D aight ya’ll, let’s get right into it:
-----
Lorule is one of the Seven Kingdoms in the world of LoZ (not sure what to call the actual world itself), and the direct neighbor to Hyrule. Despite its harsh climates and highly varying regions, Lorule is prosperous and a staple realm among the Kingdoms. It’s ruled by the queen Hilda and inhabited by the following races (alongside some lore bits for the characters representing them):
-Lorians: A people who are of the same race as Hylians and thus share the trait of having pointed ears. Lorians, however, commonly have darker skin tones and lighter eyes, raging from copper brown to golden yellow in contrast to the common greens and blues of Hylians. While scattered all across Lorule, their capitol resides in the center of the vast drylands, smack-dab in the middle of an oasis.
Queen Hilda is the current ruler of Lorule and the youngest one to assume the crown (she became queen at the age of 16). She gained her position due to her father stepping down in light of ailing health, and has since earned a reputation of being a just and competent queen. She's strict and can be intimidating with how no-nonsense she is, but does whatever she can to do right by her subjects and allies. A bit of a big sister/mentor figure to Zelda.
Ravio is a young farm lad who has big aspirations to be a court mage. Thin as a rail with a timid, shy disposition to match, Ravio scares rather easily, but he works hard and dreams big for his future. He was taken in by Ooccoo when he was just a baby, having found him hidden under a blanket within a ransacked carriage. He idolizes the Queen and wishes to be as strong as her.
---------------
-Yamatami: This race of humanoids are as tall as they are lean and thin, characterized by their unique masks they never take off and their ability to transform into giant snake-like creatures. The Yamatami inhabit the marshlands and mostly keep to themselves, though they are highly sought after trading-wise for their venom. They are lead by the somewhat oafish chief King.
Mamba is King’s daughter, and therefore the next-in-line to be chief once he steps down. As much as Mamba adores her tribe, she longs for a life of adventure, ever so curious about the world beyond their marshland boundaries. Part of her hesitation on being chief secretly banks on her fear of not being fit for the role. She’s a dreamer, very bubbly, friendly, and somewhat naive, but all she wants is to be able to make her own path.
Faux (pronounced “fawks”) is resourceful, fast, and cautious. They’re one of the best warriors the Yamatami have to offer, and through that they’ve become the trusted bodyguard to Mamba. Faux might seem indifferent to the overtly friendly princess but don’t let that fool you; they are ever watchful and ever so protective of their charge.
---------------
-Oocca: Bird-like race with human-esque faces, they are a peaceful people who inhabit a great city hovering in the sky. The Oocca dislike conflict, though this is possibly because they themselves have no means of self-defense nor combat prowess, though they more than contribute their fair share to the Lorule alliance via their expertise in trade and commerce, as well as their advanced technology. Given their general lack of combative means, their city is inhabited by guards from the other native races, as per their negotiations. Anywhere you go, there’s almost certainly an Oocca merchant handling the finances of the city.
Ooccoo, sometimes known as Miss O, is the sweet, gentle single mother of Junior. She makes her peaceful living running a homely inn and selling knick-knacks in the small farm village Ravio grew up in. She also doubles as the resident repair shop, using her skill in tinkering to keep the village's tech and tools in tip-top shape. Ooccoo has a knack of taking in any stragglers that she may run across, which has led her to taking in Ravio and raising him as if he were her own. She has an unusual assistant: an old battle-worn Lynel (to be designed later!) she calls Lyo.
Junior is Ooccoo's outgoing young son. Ever so eager to make friends and lend a hand whenever he can, Junior helps his mother run her inn and shop. He's high on energy and sometimes runs too fast for his legs to carry him (he has a penchant for tripping), and someitmes he talks a little too much, but all he wants to do is make sure you feel welcomed when under their care. He often uses berry branches as hair ties so he can have a small snack anywhere he goes!
---------------
-Yook: Otherwise known as Yetis, they are a race of huge, gorilla-like bipedal creatures who live on the peaks of the freezing, snowy mountains of Lorule. Despite their fearsome appearance and gargantuan strength, they're rather friendly, and have been known to guide lost hikers back on the trail to return home. Unfortunately, the Yook were once hunted to near genocide for their thick coats and tough hides before the practice was outlawed, and so they're cautious towards outsiders. It's only recently that they've begun to allow visitors to their humble village, but the current political climate among the Yook is a tremulous one.
Yeto was once the leader to the Yook before being beaten in a fight for the title against his younger adversary, Yuk. Now he and his beloved wife Yeta live out in the outskirts of the hidden village, living a quiet life while dedicating themselves to helping lost travelers and keeping them away from the village. This is mostly because, under Yuk's aggressive leadership, the Yook village is not safe for outsiders.
Yeta is Yeto's soft-spoken wife. Yeta is motherly to a fault, with barely a hostile bone in her body, but she isn't one to be pushed around. Upon her husband's defeat to Yuk in combat, she was outspoken on the harm he would cause their village by leading them down a violent path and was the only other one to stand up against the newly crowned chief, the others too afraid to say anything. She and Yeto were then forced to leave the village, living on the outskirts and dedicating themselves to keep outsiders away for their own safety.
---------------
-Mogma: Andromorphic mole-like peoples who make their homes in the dry grasslands, the closest neighbors to the Lorian capitol. They generally grow to be large with huge, long claws for digging, and their villages and cities are known to mostly reside below ground. They are largely artisan by culture, focusing most of their energies in making, and collecting, knick-knacks and treasures. Their drive for all things shiny and pretty make them excellent treasure hunters, and many Mogma make lucrative careers out of being treasure-hunters-for-hire. They are a semi-nomadic people.
Guld was once the leader of the Mogma before he finally stepped down and gave the title to Ledd. One of the few Mogma to make his residence above ground, Guld has retired to a peaceful life of farming and selling pumpkins and other little trinkets he finds during his evening strolls. Despite long-since stepping down as leader, the Mogma often seek him out for guidance still, and he’s worried that it’s because they aren’t trusting their new leader as much as he’d hoped.
Ledd is the newfound leader of the Mogma, chosen by Guld for his courage and finesse in finding treasures. For all of his perceived confidence, Ledd is unsure of his newfound position, and his lack of action has led other Mogma to believe he is unfit for the role. His only supporter is Plats, his best buddy, and Guld. He’s determined to prove that he wants to be the leader the Mogma deserves, but is unsure how to do so.
Plats is the kindly and rather nervous buddy of Ledd, and the youngest brother of three. Unlike the rest of his kin, Plats is far more interested in simply trading items and hunting for food instead of shinies, which contributes to his round figure and his resident duty as town merchant. Given his rather cowardly disposition, Plats rarely ever tries to go treasure hunting, something his brothers often tease him about. He is the only one who has faith in Ledd’s leadership among their kin with the only other exception being Guld.

WHEW!!! That got a bit long, but I’m glad to say that it’s out there for ya’ll to see! :3 I had a whole lot of fun working on this headcanon and if you have any questions please feel more than free to ask!! ;w;
