I had not seen that bedframe! You are completely correct both Link and Ravio would love it. So many options!

(For those without insta, said bed has a pillory built into a footboard that is tall enough to kneel on either the mattress facing out or probably stand bent over at the foot of the bed facing in.)

The Chain Means Pack.

Chain Means Pack (or CMP) is an explicit ABO fanfiction series first published on AO3 on July 4, 2023. So - let me tell you more about it!

CMP is an LU Linkshipping & canon-shipping AU series born out of my frustrations with common ABO tropes.

I love these characters, I love this setting, and I wanted to take a stab at doing it justice with as much internal and game series consistency as possible.

Yes, I am aware of Jojo's post concerning fan-content for LU. I won't be parading this series before her. I originally started posting this series as an Anonymous work in order to minimize potential backlash given how hostile the LU fandom can be regarding Linkshipping content in general. However, as it has now been well over a year of receiving very positive feedback, I've decided to go ahead and de-anon this series.

All in all, I am delighted with how CMP continues to unfold! I've poured everything I know and love about The Legend of Zelda game series into it. The way the story has grown and evolved - without straying too far from the original story outline - makes me incredibly proud.

Perhaps! The mood to write for other pairings doesn't strike me quite as often any more but I do still enjoy those characters. And there are some kinks that are just much harder to do in R&R. Sometimes a person just wants some good tentacle sex, and Shadow is practically tailor made for it.

I honestly think he might just pass right out. Boom, gone.

Deliriously happy rambles about Ravio first would be delightful, though! Starts talking about something and it's so hard to keep his attention on any one thing, he'll probably keep topic switching or petering off into nothing when Ravio does something that feels good, so Ravio just ends up humming agreement with whatever he's staying while smiling at him and enjoying the easy closeness.

Because he would be SO clingy. If he was subspacy AND happy/floaty he might just want to wrap his arms around Ravio and get lost in those freckles with the biggest most spaced out smile on his face. Probably completely unable to take direction, too. Ravio could tell him to do something and it might just completely fail to register that he's meant to do something in response.

In short, I think they'd both enjoy the experience!

Imagining Link with a slightly crooked nose from faceplanting falling out of walls many times while getting used to turning into a painting, though it was pretty funny seeing the boi faceplant when Ravio's bracelet first pops him out of a wall (yes I progress through games REALLY slowly XD)

Also: I feel like Yuga revived the old dead possessed royal guards from alttp after taking over Hyrule Castle, and that's what's wandering around. Because in r&r Link lived through all that, I can imagine when he finds out that his DEAD uncle's DEAD friends that HE killed at like 11(?), he does not take it well. Depending on what his relationship with Ravio is like, on his worst days when he does not take seeing the revived corpses of his old family friends, he asks Ravio to fuck him until he can't think anymore. Idk, probably not, but just a thought

That's not just alright but quite welcome! I'm curious to know how you're getting on with the game and look forward to tracking your progress with you, anon!

His poor nose. I can imagine it. I doubt that's an easy transition to get used to, and he really looks like he's straining to do it that first time. That bracelet dragged him out of there by force, head first; it's no wonder he fell flat on his nose. I'm sure he'll get the swing of it eventually!

That's an interesting theory about the painted soldiers and it certainly does lend itself to a significant amount of angst! If they're not pure magic given form but he's drawing on some lingering remnant of the mind control magic that used to control the possessed soldiers in order to revive them then it must have been even more of an unpleasant shock the first time Link ran into one. Perhaps with a side of perpetual dread that one day he's going to see his uncle's face looking back at him, not just that of the possessed friends he had to kill when he was young. That would certainly be the stuff of nightmares! If we did go that route with R&R Link then I can absolutely see those as the kinds of days when Link came home snarling and goading Ravio into a session that left his brain dribbling out his ears.

Yes there are several! At this point they are mostly centered around the Lorule side of things. Since the next update brings us back to Hyrule's mirror, there will be some old and some new Lorulean characters showing up in the next few months! Ravio has more old friends to reconnect with, and Link met some people during his initial travels there that he's going to be running into again. Good news for thief girl: she will be among them!

When I tell you the amount of excitement I just felt over someone playing the game with the boy for the first time!

Those silly elves are fucking every single time Link comes home for new merchandise and especially once he's bought Ravio out and keeps coming home anyway and no one can change my mind.

I hope you enjoy the game and all the wonderful characters that are in it! And that you know that one of the most moving cutscenes of the game (with a huge chunk of character development) happens in the final cutscene AFTER the final battle. It's worth playing to the end!

There they stood in all their royal splendor, an extravagant study in opposites. Day and night, stars and sun, Zelda brilliant and golden to Hilda's shimmering silver over midnight blue. The magic they'd been told to expect, to "enhance" the apparel of every attendee, made them both quite literally glow, their gowns lit up from within.

Then Link and Ravio started forward, and the magic cast over the ballroom fell upon them too. Link couldn't hold in a gasp. Only his and Ravio's arms so tightly entwined saved him from falling flat on his face.

"Ravio," he hissed. "Ravio."

Ravio lowered his arm, attention momentarily stolen from how his trailing sleeves seemed to shift and flow in an unseen breeze. "What is it, love?"

"Ravio, it's working on the--" so hard to fight down the blush, to censor his volume. The walls had ears, here. He tipped his head in to hide the motion of his lips. A stronger pulse of magic made his skirt flare and his knees go to jelly. His arm trembled, locked around Ravio's own. "--on the toys."

Understanding lit Ravio's face. Understanding, but not sympathy.

A small, delighted smile curled at the corners of his lips. His eyes gleamed.

"Is it, now."

Hytopia Ball? for WIPs

This, I will freely admit, came about purely as an excuse to dress all of my favorites up in the most elaborate, modern couture I can find. They would look so good. Link would be wearing so many toys and nefarious BDSM devices under that dress. The sexual tension between him and Ravio would be off the charts. If I ever start up an R&R Pinterest board, a portion of it's going to be dedicated purely to this.

For the vague plot to hang the porn off of: Hilda and Zelda are both invited to attend a ball in Hytopia at some future date. Link certainly wouldn't be happy letting Zelda attend such a function without him around to be her guard, but it's Hytopia; if he's going to attend, he has to dress up, and if that's the case then he wants to be wearing something that will make his husband's jaw hit the floor. (Because of course Ravio's going too!)
