Favourite supernatural ship/s
thanks for the ask anon<3
samjess is my favourite I guess. it's tragic and sad and beautiful. It always makes me upset and I end up in a puddle of tears. It hurts my brain and heart. It's like a stabbing pain in the gut. what gets me is that even after such a long time, sam could never actually let go of jessica I think. I mean what am I supposed to feel after the i still think about jessica. he was shopping for rings, and he proposed to a ghost, to his past. a nice sweet normal figment of his life, that he held on to for a while until tragedy struck. sam probably doesn't even have any photos of jessica, they were all burnt in the fire. he probably had that voicemail that she sent when he went with dean to hunt the woman in white. which probably got deleted when they had to switch phones or simcards cuz of their shitty lifestyle. she's only a memory to him...fuck
sastiel cuz I love their autistic swag. of course there are moments that make me mad like cas breaking sam's wall but cas also took sam's pain. sam and castiel are so soft and tender with each other. I just know the sex would've been a galaxy brain moment.
samruby because they're toxic af but they truly loved each other at some point. they would've worshipped each other I think. it's bout the roles and the dynamics, there's also a lot of manipulation and betrayal going on and that adds to the more complex elements regarding the pairing. also the soft tender way ruby tries to cajole sam into believing that what he did was right scratches at my brain because she too sacrificed a lot to be the one who catalysed the whole thing. they could've ruled hell together. and their whole sex scene is like two lesbians fucking each other.
deanlisa because dean had a bit of normalcy and a cute son. dean and lisa made a cute pairing I think. he got to be a dad for a little while I guess. It's sad and tragic cuz when cas wiped Lisa and Ben's memories, it really hurt. Like you build this little family and they gave you something to hold on to for a while when you missed your brother and then have all of that taken away from you PERMANENTLY. that shit is sad af.
sambrady because I KNOW WHAT THEY HAD GOING ON. demon lover brady my beloved. I know they fucked. cuz brady is a demon and he died.
samsarah. they are so cute. and honestly out of all the partners sam had in the show I think sarah blake would have been perfect for sam imo. she wanted to help them during the hunt. she's a tough girl. they kiss for the first and the last time and she hopes that sam would visit again. she keeps waiting and waiting and waiting, days turn into weeks, weeks into months, months into years and then one day she gets married has a kid and that tall floofy haired boy with the puppy dog eyes turns up at her doorstep. she has moved on obviously but at what cost? she died cuz of the very man she waited for so long. and oh sammy. the only reason why he didn't go back was that he knew it was dangerous for her. later he had to go to her to save her but again at what cost? sarah still died and she had a husband and a kid...
wincest. do I need to even say anything? I mean where do I even start? It's not like I want them to fuck each other but it's the codependency. there's a lot going on with these two that can't be seen with the naked eyes. it's the subtext, the yearning, the longing looks, the roles...how dean can't function without sam, he's afraid to be alone, how sam loses it when dean is gone, the need to be the no. 1 person on their priority list, and the fact that they're canonical soulmates. yeah they're weird and that's what I like about it. sam and dean winchester are psychotically, irrationally, erotically codependent on each other.
sammadison how could I not mention this one. THIS IS MY FAVOURITE AS WELL. I mean it's so fucking tragic. like you think you saved the girl but for what? it didn't work and it's gonna happen again and there's no cure and you two share these tender moments of intimacy thinking everything's gonna be okay only to be met with the opposite. you gave her hope and now it's being taken away..it's never gonna be okay and she asks you to kill her. whatthefuck. now you slowly see yourself in her, what if I become a monster and there's no way back and what if someone I love so much has to put me down like a sick dog. GOSH. I cried while watching that episode.
I also like samwena and saileen and megstiel but I haven't watched the later seasons that well so can't say much.

I get the feeling Jack and Castiel's redone heaven is a very different thing, besides no walls...
Like, it gives you thing's you want right?
So Dean of course wants Sam so even though it didn't seem like a long drive at a simple bridge stop, Sam's there.
Cas and Dean meet up soon after as well. It's not totally clear what happens between them, but they are running bar together shortly after and have their own house. It's odder when Benny, who was pretty sure he was morosely wandering Purgatory, a tiny amazon child in tow, then their walking out of the endless woods and come upon a bar. Dean's smile is radiant when he see's Benny, and so many things when he see's little Emma. In short order Benny has a spot behind the bar beside Dean while Castiel entertain's Emma with colorful drink parasols. (Jack show's up because he wishes to meet one of his siblings.)
Dean is somehow not surprised when Sam show's up with (he mocks delightedly) a vertaible harem. Madison apparently knows asl a bit and she and Eileen haven't stopped signing yet (Castiel joins in) Jess and Sam keeping giving eachother goopy eyes while Amy and Gabriel chat verbally. (Sam admits he already got to see Sarah, but that obvoiously her husband and daughter are with her.) Dean wonders if it's very selfish of him to be glad Sam's Amelia is nowhere to be seen.
Amy never speaks to him or acknowledges his existance. He accepts that as his jus deserts.
He isn't upset, like he thought he might be when Hannah comes in. (He does make a face at Balthazar but Bathazar makes a face right back so he thinks that's cool)
Jimmy and Amelia show up, and Cas, Sam, and Dean are happy to regale the two of all they know of Claire's life and accomplishments. Sam being the most recently dead knows the most. He and Jimmy get especially soppy over memories (and pictures) of Claire and Kaia's wedding.
Time probably passes. Dean, Benny, Cas, Balthazar and Hannah, little Emma in tow go home and return. They go on walks and drives. Sometimes he and Sam get together for a "just us drive". Sometimes Adam comes with. It's...slow going, but Dean and Sam try and Adam tries...Adam becomes much, much happier when a morose and apologetic Michael shows up. Dean figures he can't throw stones about ones eternal partner...(but he really wants to) (granted he also wishes Gabriel would stop with the eyebrows. He doesn't care if Sam is technically and old man...that is his baby brother why are those eyebrows waggling!) (Lenore who has also come by, her own bar coming into being directly across the street from Dean's, does the same thing. Sam looks delighted and helpess at all his loves. Lenore is a love he didn't even ever consider...but she's hear now and Dean whines because he was the brother with the vampire significant other...Sam's just copying him...) (This doesn't stop him from teaming up with the former trickster for an epic prank war.)
Henricksen makes his way to the bar. Along with sweet Nancy. Dean actually squeaks a bit when Benny gestures her behind the bar. He thinks he feels something like twelve with his first crush with her. It's something so very new and he thinks he likes it. Henricksen "I think you can call me Victor these days" drops by every now and then. He's on Dean's team for the prank war. (Nancy and Hannah get along great)
Dean, Sam (and Adam once he's introduced) are giddy when Henry Winchester arrives.
The real Meg Masters comes in at one point. Sam and Dean thank her again for trying with her last breaths to help them, she tries to aplogize for her angry ghost self but gives up with a happy laugh when they stick their fingers in their ears and sing until she stops. She has nothing to ever apologize for.
John and Mary come in...things are strained between them all. A lot of hurt...a lot of disappointment clouds their interactions. Emma tries to bite John's ankle.
Ash opts to live part time and the roadhouse and part time at Dean's bar, which mysteriously named itself Thursday's Child at some point. Dean also obediently goes to visit the roadhouse at Ellen and Jo's demand. Jo never work's at Dean's bar...but she does eventually make her way home with him and the rest. (Sam points out that he can't mock his number of significant other's anymore.)
Andy Gallagher, when he shows up, shepherding a scowly blonde goth girl and a sweet looking girl in front of him, zeroes in on Sam. He becomes Lenore's bar's resident "guy who sleeps on tables" but often follows Sam home. Lily (who made Sam look like he wanted to cry until the girl awkwardly kicked his shin and told him he tried and it wasn't his fault) and her girlsfriend mostly hang out at Lenore's when they pass through.
One person who goes to Sam's house, not the bar is Barry, the boy Sam had been friends with at Truman, not looking much older than when they were there. It's heartbreaking to think on. Sam does cry, when Barry knocks on his door one day. Interestingly enough, when he heads out to spend time with his friend...Sam is a child again for that time.
One day, when Dean takes a walk alone, he meets a young man. He knows him. Amy Pond's son. Dean accepts his earned censure and if Amy and he are with Sam, Dean know's he won't be seeing his brother that day.
Crowley, really, Fergus Macleod, shows up. He's on a bit of a time share with hell, he can't always be in heaven, his past as a demon being a bit problematic, but gets visiting rights.
More people come, Claire and Kaia, Garth (Dean no longer has any reservations about hugging Garth). Bess, Gertie, Little Cas and Littler Sam, Little Dean...a variety of folks that the winchesters or other's they know drop in and out. It's often busy and crowded and Dean is never truly alone.
It's Heaven.

Okay so basically for Sam i am a multi shipper. Sam x Castiel? I ship - tbh minus the thought of any sexual activity because there is a vessel involved.
Jimmy and Sam?? Maybe. My brain only just thought about it
Madison and Sam?? Hell yes
Sam and Sarah Blake? Definitely.
Sam and Brady before he was possessed? Of bloody course.
Sam and Paul - until I die.
Sam and Jess? Obviously.
But like. What the hell am I supposed to do 😭 all of them end up dead one way or another.
My heart cannot take it ffs. I am really salty over Paul's death right now because dude, that was uncalled for. Why can't my queer boy keep his short king and live his happily ever after?
Now I am sad.

This is such a good story! You gotta read it if you like Dean x reader or a/b/o fics
Pack Masterlist
So, I didn't really mean to start a new series when a scene came to me, but we're at over 8k words in the doc now so it's pretty official that I have, in fact, started a new series...
Pairing: Alpha!Dean Winchester x Omega!Reader, Alpha!Sam Winchester x Omega!Madison (the werewolf from season 2 "Heart" 😆)
Note: This is not a poly fic but I will be leaning into Pack dynamics where Pack members seek comfort in physical contact with other Pack members. So if you're after something poly you could probably read that into some subtext here, but if you're not into that then don't worry.
Series summary: Omega!Reader is thrown into a world she's not expecting when her mate turns out to be a hunter, and she's not used to Alpha & Omega Pack dynamics.
Warnings: canon-level violence, probably a bit of smut, A/B/O dynamics, there will be hugging and sleeping with (literal sleeping, not sex) Pack members who are not your mate. Individual chapters will carry their own warnings.

pairing: tara carpenter & female reader
summary: tara finally comes to her senses.
word count: 6k
author’s note: sorry for the wait guys! might be forgiven tho since i claimed this was 4k words but it ended up with 6k.
i tried to include all your suggestions so i hope you like it
Tara had been blocked.
You had blocked her.
Though, it didn't hit her all at once. The first few minutes, she thought you were just asleep, it had been late when she had texted you after all.
Maybe you needed space after what Tara had said a few nights before, and she couldn't blame you for that.
Yet she still tried texting you, each one more desperate than the last. They were all small messages, apologies wrapped in awkward words that probably didn't mean much for anyone but her.
At first, Tara chalked it up to bad timing, bad service, something.
You had to see her messages eventually, right? So she kept sending them. But there was still no reply. Then, the doubt crept in.
Maybe you were ignoring her.
That thought weighed heavily on her, but she didn't stop.
She was still convinced there had to be an explanation. You always stayed. Even when things were at their worst, when she screwed up time and time again, you stayed.
But something was different this time. She felt it.
Then she noticed the green bubbles. The messages weren't delivering.
Her stomach had dropped. It wasn't bad service. It wasn't bad timing. You had cut her off completely.
Her thumb hovered over your contact, thinking about calling, but she stopped. What was the point? You wouldn't answer.
You were done with her.
She stared at her phone for longer than she should have, as if willing it to change.
But it didn't.
The reality sank in, slow and suffocating. You were gone.
For the first time, she wasn't the one walking away, and the absence of you—your presence, your texts, your warmth—was a hole Tara hadn't even realized she relied on.
It wasn't like she hadn't expected it after everything that had happened.
You always had a way of catching her when she messed up, but things seemed to smooth over eventually.
She never really had to confront her mistakes because you stayed, no matter how many times she got it wrong. Now, though, there was nothing.
Tara wasn't used to this. Sure, she knew she had done something wrong—pushing you away, keeping you in this weird limbo while she figured herself out—but she hadn't thought it would lead to you cutting her off.
Blocking her, even.
That had never happened before. No matter how many times she messed up, you had always been there, willing to pick up the pieces, and things just... worked.
She hadn't even realized how much she relied on your presence until it was gone.
For the first time, she was completely alone. No Amber, no you. Just silence.
———
Tara woke up the next morning with a strange sense of hope. She half expected to see the messages had been delivered, that maybe you'd unblocked her while she was asleep. Maybe it was all just a mistake. You wouldn't really cut her off, not after everything, right?
She grabbed her phone, swiping to the messages she'd sent.
Still green.
Her heart sank, the pit in her stomach deepening as she realized nothing had changed. You were serious. You weren't coming back.
When she got to school, a part of her still thought maybe you'd be there, waiting to talk like you always did, or at least watching from afar. She found herself glancing at the spots where she usually saw you, waiting for that familiar feeling of your eyes on her.
But you weren't there.
But Tara kept walking, her heart heavy as she scanned the hallways. That's when she spotted Amber, standing by her locker, waiting. The familiar feeling of longing tugged at her, but this time it wasn't as comforting as before.
Amber caught her eye and signaled for her to come over, flashing that smile Tara always fell for. Without thinking, Tara did. She walked straight into Amber's arms, letting Amber sling her arm casually around her shoulders as if nothing had changed between them.
For a brief moment, Tara felt like she had what she wanted. Amber was there, holding her close, showing everyone that she was hers—at least for today.
But there was still a heaviness in her chest, something she couldn't shake. It didn't make sense. She was with Amber now, wasn't this enough?
The thought of you crept in, uninvited.
No, it couldn't be that.
She pushed the feeling down, convincing herself that having Amber was enough.
It had to be.
That's what she told herself for the following days, trying to convince herself that Amber was enough, that this was what she wanted.
And for a while, it almost worked. Amber had been good—more attentive, more affectionate than usual—at least during the school week.
The weekends, though, were different. Parties took priority, and Amber's attention drifted.
Yet even when things were good; better than ever if you will, Tara couldn't shake the feeling lodged in her chest, that gut-wrenching discomfort that seemed to cling to her no matter how much she tried to ignore it.
The more she tried to push it down, the more it twisted inside her, leaving her uneasy.
And all of the thoughts led back to you. To Tara's own surprise.
You didn't try to search for her between classes, didn't glance in her direction when you passed her in the hallways. Nothing. Like she didn't even exist.
That was what Tara should've expected, really. After everything she'd done—after the way she'd strung you along, pushed you aside, left you waiting on the sidelines—it made sense. She had no right to expect anything different.
Tara had always been the one to call the shots, to decide when and where things stood between the two of you. Now, for the first time, the power was out of her hands.
She kept telling herself it was temporary. You'd come back—you always did. She just had to wait it out. Maybe this time it would take a little longer, but you'd be there, eventually. You had to be. So she forced herself to get used to it, to the absence, pretending she could handle the emptiness you left behind.
But what really started to get under Tara's skin wasn't just your absence or the way you seemed to move on so easily. It was seeing you with someone else.
She first noticed it during English class. You had been sitting next to some girl—someone Tara vaguely recognized but never really paid attention to before.
At first, she didn't think much of it, but as the days went on, she kept seeing the two of you together. Talking. Laughing. It wasn't just casual conversations either. You looked comfortable. Almost like you were enjoying yourself.
And as the days passed, Tara couldn't help but notice it more.
You hadn't even glanced her way in days, and yet here you were, cozying up to someone else like nothing had happened.
And every time she glanced in your direction during class, there you were, talking to her. Sometimes you'd laugh, or lean in a little closer, your body language relaxed in a way that made Tara's stomach twist.
You weren't just sitting next to each other anymore—you were... comfortable. And it wasn't just in English. She caught sight of you together in the hallways, outside the building after school.
The more she saw the two of you, the more it grated on her nerves. A sharp, simmering anger that built with each passing day.
Every smile, every shared glance between you and this girl made it harder for her to focus on Amber, even when Amber was right beside her, holding her hand or whispering in her ear.
It shouldn't have bothered her like this. It shouldn't have mattered.
You were free to talk to whoever you wanted. For all Tara knew, she was just a classmate, someone you happened to sit next to by chance.
But that didn't stop the ugly feeling from growing inside her, gnawing away at her with every interaction she witnessed.
She told herself it was nothing. That it didn't mean anything. But with every glance, every shared word between you and that girl, her anger simmered, coiling tighter until it was all she could focus on.
It wasn't jealousy, Tara told herself. It couldn't be. She had Amber, after all.
Yet there was no denying the way her chest tightened every time she saw you with her. It wasn't supposed to feel like this. You weren't supposed to matter anymore.
But somehow, you still did. Of course you did.
___
"What's got your panties in a twist?" Amber's voice broke through Tara's thoughts, cutting through the low hum of the campus.
Her tone was sharp, playful in a way that normally would've made Tara grin, but today it grated, pulling her out of the spiral she had been sinking into.
They were sitting outside, perched on one of the weathered wooden benches that lined the quad, the usual bustling energy of lunchtime fading as the crowd thinned.
Chad and Liv had disappeared first, throwing out some half-hearted excuse about "something better to do," Mindy had ditched too—not that Tara blamed her, considering she wasn't exactly Amber's biggest fan. Which left only Amber and Tara behind.
Normally, Tara would've reveled in that—the rare chance to have Amber's full attention, unshared, unchallenged by anyone else. She used to crave these moments when it was just the two of them, when Amber's eyes were only on her.
But now, Tara could barely summon the energy to care. The thrill of it had dulled, smothered under the weight of everything else she couldn't stop thinking about—of everything she couldn't feel.
Your absence hung heavy in the air, even though Amber didn't know it was there. She couldn't know.
She wouldn't have cared if she did.
Amber shifted beside her, more out of impatience than concern. "Seriously, you've been acting weird all week," she pressed, her voice tinged with frustration.
She wasn't used to Tara being so distant, and the idea that something might be slipping out of her control clearly bothered her. "What's your problem?"
Tara blinked, her mind sluggish, trying to catch up. It wasn't like she could explain it—not in any way that made sense.
How could she tell Amber that the cold shoulder she had been getting from you had thrown her completely off balance?
That it was the same cold shoulder she'd given you, over and over again, each time leaving you on the outside while she stayed wrapped up in Amber's world. How could she admit that now, when it was her on the receiving end, it felt like a punch to the gut every single time she saw you?
"I don't know," she mumbled, her voice barely audible. "I'm just tired."
It was the best she could come up with, the easiest excuse, but even as the words left her lips, she knew it wasn't enough.
Amber wasn't the type to let things slide, especially not when it came to Tara. She was used to being the center of attention, the one calling the shots, and when Tara's focus wasn't on her, Amber always took notice.
"Yeah, well, you've been 'tired' for a while now," Amber snapped back, her tone cutting through the brief silence like a whip.
She didn't sound concerned, not really—just annoyed, irritated that something wasn't going her way. "Maybe you should come out with me this weekend, you know? Party with me."
Amber's suggestion hung in the air between them, and Tara hesitated. Normally, Amber didn't bother to ask.
She'd go without her, living up the night on her own, letting Tara watch it all from the sidelines. She'd see it unfold through Amber's and other people's social media—photos and videos of Amber laughing, surrounded by friends, completely absorbed in her own world.
But this time, it felt different. Tara could feel it in the way Amber's eyes lingered on her, waiting, expecting something—expecting Tara to be excited, to jump at the chance like she would've done before.
But the thought of it, the thought of pretending everything was fine, felt suffocating.
She nodded anyway, forcing herself to give Amber the answer she was waiting for, even if it felt hollow. "Yeah. Sure."
But even as the words came out, Tara felt the weight of them, heavy and wrong.
Because the truth was, none of it mattered—not the party, not Amber's fleeting attention. None of it made a dent in the gnawing ache in her chest that had started the moment you stopped looking at her.
She told herself it was fine. She could play along. She had done it before. But deep down, Tara knew that no matter how much she tried to push it down, nothing could fix this disgusting feeling.
She sat in silence for a moment longer, staring at the ground as her mind whirred with thoughts she didn't want to have.
She clenched her jaw, trying to shake the feeling, trying to make herself believe that this—Amber, the party, all of it—would be enough. It definitely would've been before, hadn't it?
But now, the weight of your absence pressed in on her from every angle, heavy and suffocating. It wasn't supposed to feel like this. It wasn't supposed to matter so much.
Amber shifted beside her, sighing loudly. "Whatever, Tara," she muttered, standing up and brushing invisible dust off her jeans. "Don't get all weird on me."
Tara barely registered her leaving. The rush of relief she might have once felt in moments like these—when Amber turned her attention elsewhere—was gone, replaced by an ache she couldn't name.
A week ago, maybe two, Tara would've called after her, almost running to catch up. She would've asked if they could get ready together, spent half an hour agonizing over what she should wear, hoping for Amber's approval.
Her mind would've spun with questions, things she'd never needed to worry about when she was around you.
What should she wear? What did Amber want her to look like? Was her hair okay down, or should she try something new? She would've sent selfies for Amber's opinion, eager for a reaction, any reaction, to reassure her that she was enough.
But now, the questions didn't come. They felt distant, buried under the weight that had settled in her chest and refused to leave. Tara didn't care what Amber thought anymore. She didn't even care what she looked like.
The weekend came sooner than she had expected, almost sneaking up on her while she drifted through the week in a haze.
Throughout the week, Tara had tried to text you. Just one message each day, nothing too desperate, nothing that screamed she was losing her mind over your silence.
But each time, the bubble turned green, and with every little notification, her hope that you might respond twisted into something bitter, something angry.
Were you with her? That girl from your English class, the one she'd seen you walking with down the hallways, laughing, your head bent close to hers like you didn't have a care in the world.
Tara's stomach knotted at the thought, her grip tightening on her phone every time she imagined the two of you together. Were you sharing the jokes you used to save just for her? Did you laugh the same way?
By the time Friday came around, the anger had wrapped itself around her chest, growing heavier each time she looked at her phone, still green, still silent.
It weighed on her as she stood in front of the mirror that night, staring at her reflection like a stranger. She had thrown on whatever was closest, not caring how it looked—not caring how she looked—and now, standing there, she could feel the frustration boiling over.
She looked terrible, and she knew it. The clothes didn't sit right, her hair was a mess, and she didn't even have the energy to fix any of it.
Normally, she'd have texted Amber for advice, asked her what to wear, how to do her makeup. They might've gotten ready together if Amber cared enough, Amber teasing her the whole time but never letting her leave the house unless she looked perfect.
But tonight, none of that mattered. Tara was angry—angry at herself, at you, at the girl you were probably with right now. She felt like she was spinning, her thoughts spiraling into a million catastrophic possibilities, each one worse than the last.
Maybe she just needed to see you in person. Maybe if she could find you, look you in the eye, and tell you how she was feeling right now, you'd understand. Maybe that's what would finally break through this silence.
If she could just get you to listen, maybe if she could tell you all of it—how she didn't know what she was doing, how none of it made sense to her—you'd understand.
But would you even believe her? Would you even want to hear her out?
Without thinking twice, she pulled out her phone and typed out a message to Amber.
can't make it tonight. smth came up.
She didn't even wait for a response before throwing her phone onto the bed, her mind already somewhere else.
Part of her wanted to look you up, track you down, and talk to you face-to-face. Whether you were with someone else or just avoiding her the way she'd been avoiding you —but either way, Tara was done waiting around for you to reach out.
She stood frozen for a moment, feeling ridiculous as the thought of showing up at your house unannounced settled in.
She could already picture how stupid she'd look, standing at your door, trying to explain herself. You'd blocked her—didn't that already say everything she needed to know?
But then that other girl's face flashed in her mind, the way you laughed with her, walked next to her in the halls.
The thought of her taking you away, of her being the one you shared everything with now, twisted Tara's stomach in knots. She couldn't let that happen. Not without at least trying.
She didn't want to be too late.
Tara hated how desperate she felt, how even after everything, after you'd blocked her, she was still running after you. But she couldn't help it.
Even if she had to look you in the eye and hear you say you didn't want her anymore, she needed to know for sure. She needed to fight, because the thought of losing you to someone else was worse than any rejection you could throw at her.
With a deep breath and her hands shaking, she grabbed her jacket and keys.
Feeling stupid the whole way, she headed out the door, her heart pounding with every step she took toward your house.
___
didn't think u were weak enough to back out.
guess i was wrong.
Amber's text lit up her screen, but Tara barely glanced at it.
Normally, Amber's words usually stung, leaving Tara questioning herself, doubting everything. But tonight, they barely registered. She didn't care anymore, not about Amber's opinion or her insults.
The thought of how she'd been stringing you along—pushing and pulling, hot and cold—made her stomach twist in a way Amber's games never had.
Tara had always hated how Amber toyed with her, how she'd be there one day and gone the next, keeping Tara on a leash just long enough to never fully let go. Now, she realized, she was doing the same to you. She'd been selfish, scared, and now it was coming back to haunt her.
Amber had dragged her through the same emotional mess for so long—back and forth, never knowing where they stood—and now she had done the same to you.
It wasn't about Amber anymore. It was about you. And she wasn't going to let you slip away without at least trying.
She made it to your house almost sooner than she'd liked. The sight of your front door tightened the knot in her stomach, something she wasn't used to feeling.
Tara wasn't the nervous type—usually, she could handle herself in any situation, always sure of what she'd say or do. But now, her palms felt damp, her breath catching every time she thought of you opening that door.
She didn't know what she was going to say. Hell, she didn't even know if you'd open the door. But she had to try, even if her nerves were making her feel like a complete idiot for being there.
But she was already here, and she'd come this far—she couldn't just turn back now. She'd fought her way through every doubt to get here, and backing down wasn't an option.
Her feet felt heavy as she took each step up the walkway, the familiar creak of the wooden steps underfoot echoing louder in her ears than it ever had before.
The closer she got, the more every little detail stood out—the chipped paint on your door, the soft glow of light seeping out from the window.
She raised her hand to knock, fingers hovering just inches away, her heart pounding so loudly she wondered if you'd hear it from the other side.
Taking a deep breath, she let her knuckles tap lightly against the door, the sound swallowed almost instantly by the still night air.
It took long enough for you to answer that her thoughts had time to spiral. She knew your parents weren't home; in the little time she'd spent actually getting to know you, she'd learned that they hardly ever were.
You were probably home alone, and the idea haunted her—maybe you'd invited someone else over, maybe you weren't even alone at all, maybe you were with that girl she'd seen you with before.
By the time she heard footsteps approaching, her heart was beating so fast she almost felt sick, every possibility fighting for space in her mind.
Finally, the door swung open, and for a split second, there was a soft smile on your face.
But the moment your eyes landed on her, it vanished, replaced by something unreadable.
It wasn't anger—your expression was calm, almost neutral, yet there was a guardedness to it, like you'd been caught off guard, not entirely prepared to see her standing there.
The warmth in your eyes had dimmed, leaving something harder to read.
Tara couldn't tell if that look meant you were relieved or if she was the last person you wanted to see right now.
For a second, Tara felt so small. She knew she was short, but this was different—she'd never felt this out of place, like she was shrinking right there on your doorstep. Not since Amber.
Her fingers fidgeted, tracing over her knuckles as she tried to read you, to figure out what was going on behind that guarded expression. She barely registered the sound of her name until she heard your voice.
"Tara.. Hi."
The words hung there, making the quiet between you even heavier.
Tara didn't respond right away, too caught up in the questions swirling through her mind.
Had she interrupted something? Were you expecting someone else—someone who actually wanted to be here?
Her mind raced, flashing back to all the times you'd tried reaching out, inviting her over, and all the times she'd ignored you, too wrapped up in the momentary thrill of Amber's attention.
She hadn't let herself think about what that might've felt like for you.
And now, standing here, she couldn't shake the feeling that this was karma—that maybe you'd moved on, found someone else who didn't make you feel like a backup option. What if, after all this, she was too late?
Finally, after a moment, she managed to speak, her voice barely above a whisper, unsteady.
"Were... were you expecting somebody else?" Her words faltered, her gaze fixed on her hands as she twisted her fingers together, almost as if she could hold onto some kind of confidence.
You furrowed your brows just slightly, a small, almost confused smile pulling at the corner of your mouth as you let out a soft, breathy laugh. "No... why would I?"
Tara's mouth opened, but no words came out right away. She hadn't expected you to look so genuinely surprised, and now she felt her cheeks warming, her gaze darting down as she scrambled for something to say. Her fingers twisted together, and she forced herself to meet your eyes again, feeling silly for even bringing it up.
"I... I don't know. I just thought... maybe." Her voice was barely a whisper, and she hated how uncertain it sounded, as if she'd already given away too much. But she couldn't help it—she just had to know.
You tilted your head slightly, still wearing that soft smile, though there was a hint of something knowing in your eyes.
"Is she.. ignoring you again?" you asked, the question so casual yet so pointed that Tara's breath hitched.
She knew you meant Amber—you didn't even need to say her name. And the worst part was, she felt a pang of guilt because, honestly, it wouldn't have been the first time.
She swallowed hard, feeling like her own answer was betraying her. "Actually... no," she said slowly, her voice faltering as she tried to piece together her words. "She, uh, actually invited me to a party."
Your expression shifted, that lightness fading from your eyes, and Tara's stomach twisted painfully when she noticed.
She hadn't expected you to react like that, hadn't anticipated that flicker of hurt crossing your face. And now, standing there in the doorway, she felt a rush of regret wash over her.
Before she could stop herself, she added, her voice barely above a whisper, "But I didn't... I didn't go."
You didn't respond right away, just looked at her, eyebrows raised, silently waiting. Tara shifted under your gaze, feeling smaller by the second, until finally, she started to speak.
"I know you probably... don't want to talk to me right now," she began, her voice a little too fast, like she was rushing to get the words out before she lost her nerve.
She took a shaky breath and continued, "I wouldn't blame you if you didn't. I mean, it's not like I've given you a reason to, you know, feel any different... or... yeah."
Her hand drifted up to her wrist, squeezing it as she fumbled for her next thought. "I... I messed up. And, I've been thinking about it, like, a lot, and it's just—I didn't know what I was doing. I mean, I thought I did, but then I... I didn't. And I didn't mean to make you feel like you weren't... important, or that I didn't care, because I did. I do."
She bit her lip, glancing up at you, unsure if she was making any sense, but she kept going. "I know it's probably too late to say any of this, and you've probably moved on, but I just... I don't know. I didn't want you to think that I... forgot about you. Or... or that you didn't matter."
Her gaze flickering down to the ground, then up to yours again, almost as if she's scared you'll walk away.
"That message where I told you to... that I didn't want anything to do with you..." She shakes her head, struggling for the right words. "I shouldn't have said that. I was... I don't even know what I was thinking. I just... Amber was there, and I felt like if I didn't, she'd—" She stops herself, clenching her fists a little, swallowing hard.
"And all those other messages.. I just kept trying to say sorry, but it was probably just... desperate, I guess. I didn't know how else to say that I... I wanted you, that I didn't mean it. That I still..."
Her words falter, and she sighs, rubbing her forehead as though exhausted with herself. "I know it probably doesn't make up for any of it, but... I swear, I didn't mean it. I never wanted to hurt you."
As soon as she stopped talking, a wave of embarrassment crashed over her, and it was all she could do not to cringe.
She hadn't even planned on saying half of what she'd said, and yet here she was, fumbling through one strained apology after another.
It felt messy, like she was just piling words on top of words, hoping that somehow they'd turn into something that made sense to you, that could somehow make things better.
But in her heart, she knew it sounded like nonsense, just a lot of desperate, pointless excuses that probably made her look even more pathetic.
And you just stood there, looking at her with an expression she couldn't quite read—somewhere between shocked and neutral.
The silence between you seemed to stretch on, making her rambling feel even more pointless, like each second of quiet only added weight to her mess of words.
Tara could feel her face heating up, and all she wanted was to take everything back, to make it sound right somehow—but she didn't even know what "right" would be.
Her fingers tightened around her wrist, her gaze dropping back to her worn out converses as the silence thickened around her. Part of her wanted to shrink back, to stop talking altogether, but she'd already put too much out there to turn back now.
So when you didn't answer, she continued.
"I... I want to do better," she said, each word a little slower, like she was searching for the strength to actually mean it. Her eyes barely lifted to meet yours, as if waiting for something—anything—that might tell her it wasn't too late.
Your hand, which had been holding the door open this whole time, finally slipped away. You clapped both hands against the sides of your thighs, the sound breaking the quiet between you two.
Then, with a tone that was almost unreadable, you asked, "Is that it?"
Tara's face fell slightly when your words cut through the silence. She searched your expression, looking for something—anything—that hinted at forgiveness, but the steady way you looked back at her made her stomach drop.
Her throat tightened, but she forced herself to speak, her voice barely above a whisper.
"So... you don't forgive me?"
Tara looked up at you, her eyes wide and glistening, almost like a puppy's, searching for any hint of understanding. It was a look she hadn't meant to put on, but somehow it found its way back to her face, a reflex from childhood.
She remembered using those same eyes when she'd gotten into trouble with her mom or when Sam wouldn't let her hang out with her friends. Back then, she'd wielded them like a weapon, a last-ditch effort to melt hearts and earn forgiveness.
Now, though, it felt different.
There was no intent behind it, just a genuine plea for empathy that made her feel exposed, and a wave of embarrassment washed over her as she realized how desperate she must look.
You took a breath before responding, your gaze steady but distant. "I do.. but I don't see why that matters because it'll all happen again." You said slowly, weighing each word.
Tara felt her heart sink at your words, the reality of what you said hitting her hard. She knew all too well how it felt to be caught in that cycle—Amber had done the same to her, repeatedly promising change only to slip back into old patterns.
It was frustrating and disheartening, and in that moment, she understood where you were coming from.
She took a shaky breath, trying to find her voice. "It won't... I promise it won't." Her tone was earnest, filled with a desperate need to be believed, to convince you that this time would be different.
Tara searched your expression, and as your words echoed in her mind—you did accept her apology—a flicker of hope ignited within her. It felt like a delicate promise written in cursive, intricate yet fragile, and she couldn't help but cling to it.
She tried to muster a soft smile, though it felt tentative, as if it might shatter under the weight of everything left unsaid.
"Can we... do you think that maybe we can try again?" The words tumbled out, filled with a mixture of uncertainty and determination. It was a fragile request, a chance she hoped wouldn't be met with rejection.
She could see the flicker of thoughts crossing your face. Your brow furrowed slightly, and she sensed the hesitation lingering in the air between you. It was as if you were weighing her words, measuring the sincerity of her apology against the weight of the past.
She couldn't tell if you were considering her request or if doubt still lingered in your mind.
It felt like standing on the edge of a cliff, waiting for a sign, desperately hoping that you would choose to leap with her this time.
After a long pause, a small, soft smile crept up on your face, the tension in your shoulders easing just a bit. You finally met her gaze, and the warmth in your eyes hinted at something Tara had been longing to see.
"Sure... yeah, I'd like that," you said, your voice gentle but firm, like a lifeline tossed her way.
Tara let out a breath she didn't know she was holding, her shoulders eased slightly at your response, something softening in her expression as she processed your words. It wasn't a promise, but it felt real enough.
A quiet acknowledgment that maybe this could lead somewhere different.
She looked at you for a moment longer, managing a small, uncertain smile as if not entirely sure this chance would hold but willing to take it anyway.
The silence lingered, weighty but almost comfortable. Tara held your gaze, her expression softening just a bit as she let herself settle into the quiet, not wanting to push any further. When she finally managed a small smile, it was tentative, as if she was holding onto it carefully.
"Guess I'll... see you around?" she asked, her voice a quiet murmur, like she wasn't entirely certain if she should even say it.
You gave a slight nod, already moving to close the door. The subtle acknowledgment was enough to let her feel that maybe, just maybe, things could shift—if only a little.
She shifted slightly, like she wanted to say something more but couldn't quite find the words. A small, unsure smile crossed her face as she looked up at you again, her voice softer.
With that, Tara turned to go, casting one last look back at you before turning around to walk away.
___
The next week, Tara's phone buzzed on her nightstand, pulling her from a the books scattered all over her bed.
She squinted at the screen, hoping to see your name lighting up, a sign that things were finally moving forward between you two.
Maybe it was about the plans you'd casually mentioned plans that did not include Tara bringing out her frustrations in bed with you.
Instead, her heart sank a little as Amber's name flashed across the screen.
u free this friday?
For the first time, Tara felt a surprising clarity wash over her as she read the message. She didn't hesitate, knowing exactly how she wanted to respond without second-guessing herself.
In the past, she'd tiptoed around her replies, always afraid that Amber would judge her for whatever she said.
But now, after everything with you, she was certain of what she wanted. This time, there was no uncertainty clouding her thoughts. So, after a moment, she typed a quick reply.
im actually busy, sorry
With a breath of relief, she hit send and immediately blocked Amber's number. She felt a weight lift off her shoulders.
This time, she wouldn't be waiting for Amber's text, for promises that never changed anything.
She knew what she had now—this newfound sense of clarity—and what she wanted. And that was enough.
This was how it would stay.

If you or anyone you know is dealing with an ED or substance abuse, call or text: 1-800-662-4357.
word count: 766
requested?: nope
A/N: I was feeling sad so all of you must suffer with me. Feedback, interaction, and requests are appreciated! ok bye
Pink: Y/n
Blue: Matt
------------------------------------------------------------
Matt knows you've dealt with an eating disorder in the past. He wasn't there during it, but you've talked to him about it and answered some of his questions. It didn't make you any less perfect in his eyes. To him, all that mattered was you being okay. But you weren't.
Four years later, you feel like you're falling back into it all over again—all the progress you've made, discarded within just a couple weeks.
You stare at yourself in the mirror and wish someone different stared back at you. You pinch at the skin on your thighs, stomach, and arms and wish the fat would disappear.
You sob silently. How can someone hate themselves so much, How couldn't you hate yourself so much, Y/n? Look at you, just look at you! You're lucky matt even stays. Thoughts circle around your head like a halo. Leaving you in nothing but shatters.
You walk to the toilet, shove a finger down your throat, and gag
The cycle begins.
Two weeks later, you walk into your kitchen to find Matt standing there. "Good morning, angel, I'm making pancakes. How many do you want." The thought of putting food in your mouth makes you sick. "Um, Matt, I'm not hungry." Matt frowns. "You love my pancakes, baby, what's the matter?" you shuffle through your brain, thinking of an excuse. "I'm full from last night, Y'know, the pizza." You, Matt, nick, and Chris had had a movie night. The boys ordered pizza and snuggled up on the couch as you all giggled.
"I watched you the whole night, Y/n, I didn't see you take a single slice," he says, flipping a pancake. "In fact i haven't seen you eat much at all lately, You alright?" Eat? How can he suggest such a thing? doesn't he want me to be pretty? i wanna be good enough to wear a bikini. I wanna be good enough to wear skin tight dresses, i wanna be good enough for him.
You shake away these thoughts trying your best to keep your composure. "I'm good, just give me one okay?" you say letting out a sigh. He smiles "Comin' right up princess" He hands you a plate with a pancake, syrup, whipped cream and some strawberries. Matt has already started digging into his own plate.
just a few bites Y/n, just let Matt think you're okay
You pick up your fork and knife with shaky hands, cut yourself a piece and quickly shove it it your mouth. Your body wants to immediately reject it, but you take a few more bites.
As soon as you swallow your first bite, it flies back up your throat. You get up and run to the bathroom. Matt follows you with concern. "Are my pancakes that bad?" he says, running after you. But as he walks into the bathroom. He notices how frail you've become. Tears are running down your eyes, and he finally realizes. You finish puking and flush the toilet and lean against the wall, almost lifelessly.
A few tears escape Matt's eyes. How could he be so stupid? how didn't he put it together? It was so obvious. He could've helped you. Why would you do this?
He runs out of the bathroom to get a glass of cold water, then quickly comes back to hold you. The only thing that could escape from his mouth was "Why"? "Just look at me, Matt, I hate it, I hate my body so fucking much, Matt, you don't even understand," you say, trying your best to yell, tears running down your face.
Matt is completely taken aback "But you're so beautiful, baby, You're hurting yourself. You were doing so good." You sob in Matt's arms, barely able to speak. "I-I'm sorry, Matt. I just wanted to be pretty." Your words felt like a knife in Matt's stomach.
''I tried so hard to fight it, Matt, I didn't want to go down this path again. I promised you I wouldn't. The words spill out like vomit, "But I did it anyway, Matty." You whine, "And it's worse than before. I'm so ashamed Matt. I'm sorry i'm putting you through this" Tears rush you your face, and you're shaking uncontrollably. The knife in Matts stomach only gets pushed deeper and deeper. "I'm sorry i never noticed Y/n, i'm so fucking stupid. The signs were so clear, i could've helped you." He wipes the tears off your cheeks. "But i'm gonna help you now baby." "I can't Matt" "we're gonna do it together okay? Step by step, Y/n. We'll be just fine"

masterlist
You knew your girlfriend was a bit of a bitch sometimes, but never a murderer. Sure, she was rude and probably lacked common decency, but when you two were alone, she was kind and sweet.
There was no way she could be ghostface.
And that was what you told Mindy, after the third time that day in which she had questioned you about Amber.
“Mindy,” you said, exasperated. “I love you. I really do, but if you keep insinuating my girlfriend is a killer I’m going to kick your ass.”
“I’m not,” Mindy said, in a tone that told you she was actually aiming at that, toeing the question but not saying it out loud. “I’m just saying, out of all of us…”
“It can also be the nerd obsessed with horror movies who’s related to one of the legacies,” you shot back. “Or the big sister that has suddenly come back after years of no contact. It can be anyone.”
“Sure thing,” Mindy said, rolling her eyes. “But if anyone would want to kill Wes…”
“No one would want to kill Wes,” you said, slamming shut your locker. “He was a good kid. No one held grudges against him. He was chosen because life isn’t fucking fair.”
You cleared your throat when you noticed kids around the hall staring at you. Great, you were going around school screaming about the unfairness of life; as if you needed people to suspect you and your group of friends more.
“Okay. Sorry,” Mindy said, putting a hand on your shoulder. You almost shook it off, still pissed off at her, but with everything that was going on you weren’t sure who could be the next victim, so instead you hugged her.
“I’m sorry too,” you said, pulling away. “It’s just— everything is too stressful. I can’t stand it.”
“I get it,” she said. “I’m sorry. I just want to discover who the fucker is so we can all be safe.”
“It’s okay,” you said. “I’m gonna hang out with Amber and help her with the party, so I’ll see you later. ‘Kay?”
“Okay,” she kissed your cheek. “Be safe.”
“You too.”
━━━ • 𖥸 • ━━━
“Stop fucking in my couch, horny fuckers,” Amber said, pushing two kids away from said couch.
The party was in full swing, almost everyone from school within Amber’s house walls. You thought of Wes, and how he’d take people remembering him with a party. He would have probably hated it, but it had been Amber’s idea, and it was hard to convince her not to do something once she had put her mind to it.
“Hey,” you said, glad you had finally found your girlfriend. It was hard to miss her, considering her attitude filled every room she was in, but parties like the ones she threw were so overwhelming even she could easily disappear in the crowd.
“There you are,” Amber smiled, shortening the distance between the two of you. She rested the red cup in her hand on the coffee table and wrapped her arms around you, nose caressing your neck. “Mm… I’ve missed you,” she said, pulling away to give you a kiss.
“You just saw me,” you giggled, standing on your tiptoes to give her another kiss. She smiled, pulling you even closer to kiss your cheek.
“What? Can’t I miss my girlfriend?” She raised an eyebrow, looking deeply into your eyes.
“Of course you can,” you said, wrapping your arms around her neck. She rested her head on your neck, kissing it softly. “What got you so happy?”
“I’m throwing a party and I have you in my arms,” Amber said, pulling away. There was a glee in her eyes that made your bones chill. “What else could I want?”
“A lot, actually,” you said. Despite how close you two were, it was still somewhat hard to hear her over the music coming from the kitchen. “A million dollars, three hundred puppies, world peace…”
“Nah,” she said, smirking. “I still prefer you.”
You blushed at that, kissing her again. “You dork.”
“A dork you love making out with.”
“That I do,” you smiled, tangling your hands into Amber’s hair as she put her lips on yours.
“You’re so hot,” she said, kissing your jaw. You moaned, tilting your head to the side to give her more space. “Fuck. I love you, baby,” she said. Her voice was sweet and velvety, just like how it was when she talked with you on the phone. You loved these moments where she was vulnerable; it made your heart skip a beat.
“I love you too,” you said. Amber was kissing your neck again, and you tightened your hold on her hair when she began to suck on your neck.
“You do?” She asked, pulling away. You were a little taken back by the sudden movement. “You love me?”
“Wha— of course I do,” you said, looking into her eyes. There was something there, swimming with the glee in the brown waves of her irises, something that made you want to run away from her arms. Instead, you pulled her closer. “I love you.”
“Even if I was the killer?” You tensed, trying to step away from her. She shook her head, dragging your body into hers. “Would you?”
“What the fuck, Amber?” You asked. Mindy’s voice came into the front of your mind; Do you think your girlfriend is capable of killing someone? “Are you for real?”
“Of course not,” Amber said, kissing your forehead. She sighed in anger when she noticed you were still tense. “Relax, babe. I’m just fucking with you.”
“Don’t joke about things like that, Am,” you said, resting your head on her shoulder. “It’s not funny.”
“Jesus,” she said, stroking your back. “Don’t be such a bitch. I was just playing.”
“Let’s just drop the subject, alright?”
“You haven’t answered my question,” Amber said. She was swaying you softly, and the motion was helping lower your frantic heartbeat. “Would you?”
“Uh?” You raised your head.
“Would you still love me if I was the killer?”
“Fucking hell, Amber.”
“Would you?” She repeated. You remembered those random questions she would sometimes ask, out of the blue— would you still love me if I was a worm? Would you still love me if I took shits the size of cars? Would you stay with me if I lost all my teeth?
But that question… it felt different somehow. Like a test you weren’t even aware you were taking.
Would you still love her if she was ghostface?
“Of course I would still love you,” you said, hoping it was all just one of those times she would ask stupid questions.
She smiled, all perfectly lined white teeth popping out in glee. You were taken aback by her happiness, and even more when she pulled you into a passionate kiss. It left you breathless. When she moved away, you could still see the happiness dancing in her face. She looked like a kid that had gotten away with stealing a cookie from the kitchen while their parents weren’t watching.
“Oh, look,” she said, moving away from you. You were momentarily confused at the loss of her warmth. “Tara is here.”
━━━ • 𖥸 • ━━━
The phrase “Welcome to act three” changed your life. It wasn’t supposed to be like this, you thought as you hid from your girlfriend, Liv’s blood still fresh in your face. You had plans for the future, in which you moved into the city with Amber, and graduated college, and then got a nice job and got married. You couldn’t have planned for this. Who would?
Amber was ghostface. And you had been too blind to see the truth. If you made it out alive, you knew Mindy would never shut up about it.
How could you have been so goddamn stupid?
“Y/N.”
You turned to your side, seeing Sam kneeling beside the sofa, hiding away from Amber as she dragged someone into the kitchen. Sam raised her hand and gestured for you to go with her, and you did without even thinking. When you reached the older girl, you grabbed her arm, looking into her eyes.
“Fucking hell,” you said. You couldn’t even blink; it felt like your eyelashes had been glued to your face.
“Sh,” Sam whispered, moving closer. You could see her hands were shaking as she looked around. A gunshot was heard, followed by a ringing so deafening you closed your eyes as you covered your ears, cradling your face in your hands. “Fuck.”
“She killed someone else,” you said, still trying to wrap your mind around how she meant ghostface and also Amber.
“Ri—” Sam took a deep breath. “Richie. I— I heard his voice right before— before she—”
“Fuck,” you said. “Sam…”
“Y/N,” Amber called from the kitchen in a singsong voice. “Baby, where are you?”
Sam put her hand over your lips, pulling you closer into the sofa, as if it would magically cover the two of you. You saw Amber enter the living room, wearing the infamous ghostface robe. A chill went down your body at the sight of the blood on her face.
“Baby—”
Tara appeared then, hitting Amber with one of her crutches. Sam went quick into action, getting up and kicking away the gun that had fallen on the ground.
“Bitch,” Amber said, grabbing a handful of Tara’s jacket and pushing her away. You ran towards the girl, helping her sit up. Tara had fallen face first, and it looked like she had broken her nose, judging by the blood running down her chin.
“Fuck you,” Sam said, grabbing Amber and throwing her to the ground. She eyed the gun the same time Amber did, but you knew Sam was cursed; she had pushed Amber right into where the gun was.
“Not so fast, bitch,” Amber said, gun in hand. Sam moved to stand in front of Tara, and all you could do was stare at your girlfriend. “Baby,” she said, turning to look at you. “Come here.”
“Am—”
“Come here,” she repeated, voice sweet. You could see her finger, pressing harder onto the gun’s trigger. If you didn’t move fast, she was going to shoot Sam.
“Okay,” you said, raising your hands. You walked towards Amber, allowing her to grab your arm and turn you around, pushing you into her body.
“Ah. Much better,” she smiled, kissing your cheek. “Now we just have to wait for the bitch to show up. I’m guessing she’s close, right, Samantha?”
You saw Sam’s hand hold tighter on her phone. “How do you know about Sidney?”
“Oh, honey,” she laughed. “If Sidney is anything, it is predictable. I’m guessing she has already figured out whose house is this, and is coming with Gale to save the day, as always.”
“You’re sick in the head,” Tara said. Blood was still dripping from her face, and you were thankful when Sam held her; she looked like she was going to pass out.
“Haven’t you heard, Tara?” Amber asked. She was pushing you away from them and towards the stairs, her grip on your shoulders so hard you knew it would bruise. “We all go a little mad sometimes.”
“Fuck you,” Tara said. You admired her— she could barely stand still yet she was facing off a killer with a gun in hand; you, instead, did nothing as she manhandled you around the house. If only you could do something to stop her…
“Fuck me?” Amber laughed. “You little shit. I kept you alive and this is how you repay me?”
“Should’ve killed me,” Tara said. The girl looked terrifying, with a bloody mouth and eyes opened wide.
“Okay,” Amber said, aiming the gun towards Tara. You watched as her finger pulled the trigger, and didn’t think twice before slamming your body against her, pushing her into the ground. The bullet hit the ceiling instead of Tara’s forehead. “What the fuck?”
“Run!” Sam said, rushing towards your side to pull you up. With your help, she carried Tara upstairs, where you hid in one of the guest rooms.
“Holy shit,” you whispered. You were leaning against the door, breathing fast. “I can’t believe— fuck.”
“How are you?” Sam asked, always the protector.
“How am I? Look at Tara. I think she’s got a concussion.” Sam turned around to see her sister lying on the bed. She was resting on the side, and even though her nose had stopped bleeding, she still looked too out of it. “We should hide her,” you said.
“What?”
“We can’t stay here,” you said. You could hear the front door opening, and Amber screaming. What the hell was she doing? “She’s going to come looking for us. Tara can barely move. She needs to stay somewhere hidden.”
“She needs a fucking hospital,” Sam said, harshly.
“Yeah, but she can’t really get help until we stop Amber. She might kill the people in the ambulance.”
“Okay,” Sam nodded, swallowing hard as she looked at her sister. Running a hand through her hair, she looked around. Soon enough, your eyes met. “The closet,” you said at the same time.
You heard gunshots, followed by a door being slammed shut. You looked at Sam, and took a deep breath. “Take care of Tara.” You ran downstairs, closing the guest room’s door behind you. You hoped Sidney and Gale were okay, and that everything was over. Instead, someone dressed in a ghostface costume greeted you on the last step, making you almost fall.
“Hello, Y/N,” ghostface said. He was using a voice changer. “Fancy seeing you here.” Ghostface pushed at your legs, making you trip. When the person grabbed you by the waist and pushed into their chest, you knew immediately who it was.
“Amber,” you said. You felt tears in your eyes as you walked into the kitchen. Richie —holy shit, Richie was the other ghostface— was holding down Sidney. When he saw her, he threw her another piece of rope.
“Tie her up and go find Samantha,” Amber said. Without even looking at you, she tied your hands together.
“I’m fucking trying,” Richie said. The rope in his hand was being wrapped around Sidney’s hands. What the fuck were they doing?
“Jesus, you’re useless,” Amber said, taking off her mask. “I’ll fucking do it. Go find that bitch before she ruins everything.” Richie nodded, but still stayed until Sidney’s hands were tied. Only then did he leave, pushing the woman into Gale’s body. You followed shortly after, falling into the two injured girls.
“You won’t win,” Sidney said. You were momentarily surprised by her calmness, but of course, she was Sidney Prescott; she had probably gone through worse at the hands of ghostface and survived to tell the tale; this was probably a normal Tuesday night for her.
“Shut the fuck up,” Amber said, raising her gun.
“You never win,” she went on. “You think you do, then you make some mistake and it all goes to shit. I’ve seen it happen before, four times. It’s better if you just untie us and let us call the police.”
“I’m gonna win,” Amber said, moving closer to her. “I’m going to fucking win, okay?”
“Don’t do this to yourself,” Gale spoke. It petrified you how scared she sounded. Was this really the way you died? “You could be the first ghostface that doesn’t die. I could write about you.”
“And what? Call me the bitch that killed your ex-husband while I rot in prison?” Amber laughed. “No, I don’t think so.”
“You really want your girlfriend to see you die?” Gale asked. You were taken aback by her words. Of course she would go for manipulation, she was a writer after all. It surprised you when you saw Amber hesitate, lowering her gun slightly as she looked at you with dark brown eyes.
“I’m doing this for her,” she smiled then, all doubt cleared from her face.
“Ah, so that’s your motive,” Sidney said, sounding annoyed. “Love. I think that’s a new one.”
“You shut your fucking mouth,” Amber said, aiming the gun back at Sidney.
“Here she is,” Richie said in a singing voice. You heard struggles, and then he entered the kitchen, dragging Sam with him.
“Perfect,” Amber said. “What about Tara?”
“Passed out in the bed,” Richie said. Sam groaned in pain as she was pushed to the floor in front of you. “Tied her up and locked the door. Caught this one,” he kicked Sam on the stomach “trying to hide her.”
“Aw,” Amber said, in a mocking soft voice. “Aren’t you the perfect sister?” Richie laughed at her words, stepping away from Sam.
“Time for the big finale,” Richie said.
“Tara is tied up, then, right?” Amber asked. Richie nodded, a gleeful look on his face. “And Chad is gone too?”
“A bullet between the eyes,” Richie laughed gleefully.
“Good,” Amber said. The next second, she shot Richie in the head. All four of you stared in shock. Your ears ringed, and you weren’t sure if it was because of the loud gunshot or the sight in front of you. Richie fell to the ground, blood seeping out of his head and mouth. You almost threw up at the sight of his gray matter laying on the ground. “Now, the real finale,” Amber smiled, turning back to you. “Who wants to die first? Uh?”
“Me,” you said, sitting up straighter. It was about time you were the brave one.
“Oh, baby,” Amber said, chuckling softly. “No. No, you’re not going to die. You and I are going to survive, and we’re gonna be the final girls.”
“Jesus,” Gale said. “Are you out of your mind? All of this for… for what? To be the new Romeo and Juliet?”
“Romeo and Juliet die at the end, you dumb bitch,” Amber said. “No. This is about Samantha.”
“My father,” Sam said. Even though you couldn’t fully see her, the sadness was clear in her eyes. It wasn’t fair, all the guilt she would carry with her if she made it out alive.
“Yes,” Amber nodded. “Your father, your grandma… you have a pretty crazy family, Samantha. Once this is over, all we have to tell the cops is that you wanted to live up your father’s legacy. Once they took a look at your pills and therapist notes, there’ll be no questions about who’s the killer.”
“There’s always two ghostfaces,” Gale said.
“And the other one is right there,” Amber pointed at Richie’s body. “You convinced your boyfriend to kill those people as an act of love, and he did. Good thing I was there to stop you before you killed Y/N.”
Sidney laughed, looking at Amber with almost pity in her face. “And why would Y/N be Sam’s target? Just because? For this to work, it’d have to be Tara.”
“No, no,” Amber said, shaking her head. “You’re not taking everything into consideration.”
“We’ve been through this before,” Gale said. “You think you can outsmart us?”
“I’ve already done it,” Amber said. “Because I know something you don’t. Something that explains everything,” she shook her head, smiling. She looked crazed.
“Jesus,” Sidney said. “You’re even worse than Jill. Stop with the dramatics.”
“Y/N is Stu Macher’s daughter.”
“What?” Gale asked, looking at you. You felt as confused as she did.
“Amber, what the fuck are you talking about?” You asked.
“Stu is—”
“In an asylum,” Amber said. Something shifted in Sidney’s face, something that told you she already knew. “Locked up for years. I know what you’re gonna say,” she chuckled. “How could he have a daughter?” Amber kneeled down beside Sidney. “That’s what I told myself for months when I saw the papers. I thought, “but how? It’s not possible”, until I realized that it could be pretty easy to explain since Y/N’s mom is a psychologist.”
“What is with people in this town and leaving important documents just laying around?” You murmured.
“You can’t be serious,” Sidney said, interrupting you. “How…?”
“Why do you think she got fired?” Amber looked at you. “For sleeping with a patient. With Stu. C’mon, Sidney, I thought by now you were used to secret family members appearing out of nowhere.”
“So that’s it?” Gale asked. “You find some papers and you decide to start killing people?”
“No!” Amber said. You flinched at the scream. “No. Of course not. I had to check everything. This was too big to just say unless I knew for sure. So I investigated, and once I was sure, I searched for a partner online. Someone who would appreciate this plot. Someone who would know how important Stu Macher being alive truly was,” she eyed Richie, on the ground with blood slowly escaping his body.
“Plot? This isn’t a fucking movie!” Gale said.
“It will be, one day. The two daughters of the first Woodsboro massacre killers, facing off each other. Isn’t it perfect?” Amber turned to look at Sam. “Spoiler alert, you lose.”
“You’re sick in the head,” Sidney said. “You know the danger you’re putting her in? People are going to chase her like they will with Sam.”
“But Sam doesn’t have me,” Amber said. “I’m always going to be there to protect Y/N. Always.”
“Not if I kill you,” Gale said. Within a second, she was up, taking advantage of the surprise movement to throw Amber to the ground. Sidney got up next, grabbing a knife to cut the rope, and Sam, to your surprise, ran out of the kitchen and upstairs. You watched everything unfold before your eyes landed on the gun that had once again fallen.
“Stop!” You screamed, gun in hand as you pointed it at the three women.
Amber had Gale by the hair and Sidney had the knife in her hand, raised to stab Amber in the chest.
“Baby,” Amber said, pushing Gale into Sidney’s body. “Lower the gun.”
“Y/N,” it was Sidney this time, looking at you hesitantly. As if you were going to shoot her. Were you? “Don’t listen to Amber. You can’t be sure.”
“I would never lie to her,” Amber said. She turned her face to look at you. “You know I wouldn’t. You know it, baby. I’ve told you nothing but the truth.”
Your hands shook, but you didn’t lower the gun.
“I love you,” Amber said, in that soft voice you only heard late at night, head pressed on her neck while she ran her hands through your hair. “I’ve done this for you, so you could be the new Sidney— so you wouldn’t have to live under the shadow of Samantha.”
“Am…”
“She’s lying,” Gale said. “Once this is over, the moment you do something she doesn’t like you’ll be next.”
“I’d never hurt her,” Amber said through gritted teeth, grabbing Gale by the shirt. “I’ve done nothing but take care of her.”
You knew your time was running out. Sam had probably opened the guest room upstairs already, and once she was done checking in on Tara, she would come back, more than likely with a weapon. She would be ready to kill Amber, and Sidney and Gale will help her.
Did you want them to kill her? Was it an honor reserved just for you?
Were you going to kill everyone but Amber, and save her?
You weren’t sure, not as you closed your eyes and took a deep breath, getting ready for your next move. Still, you pulled the trigger and hoped to god you had made the right choice.

Tara Carpenter x Amber Freeman
Word count: 1277
Summary: What Amber and Tara were actually up to when "grabbing Tara's inhaler from Amber's room".
Warning: lesbian situationship!
Mild smut under the cut 🕺✂️
(repost cause something odd happened to the original post 🧟♀️)
As the last party-goers stumbled out of her house, Amber guided Tara upstairs, tugging at her hand, leaving their friends downstairs. Tara struggled, barely keeping up, with both her crutches clutched under one arm. "Don't worry, I'm pretty sure it's on top of my desk," Amber said, trying to remember the exact location of the inhaler Tara came here for.
Tara looked back at Sam, who was frowning at the sight of them. She tapped her watch while sternly looking Tara in the eye, signaling her to hurry. She had a bad feeling in her gut, like shit was about to go down, so she wanted to get out of here and back on the road as soon as possible.
Sam sighed, knowing they were gonna take their time anyway. She wasn't blind. She saw they had something going on. The lingering touches, the charged stares, and... Her mind traveled back to a few days prior, when she had visited Tara in the hospital. Maybe she had been better off blind.
---
As the elevator door to Tara's private floor opened, she heard whiny grunts coming from her sister's hospital room. Sam's heart dropped. She rushed to open the door, mind obviously jumping to the worst-case scenario. With wide, adrenaline-filled eyes, her gaze fell on Tara. Her eyes went impossibly wider as she saw Amber, pulling her hand from under Tara's hospital gown, fingers sticky. Tara was red as can be, surely a mix of embarrassment and the previous actions she was enduring. Amber, of course, just had that signature smirk on her face, shamelessly, no, challengingly staring at Sam. The older sister had mumbled something about them being unbelievable as she closed the door again, waiting in the hallway for Amber to leave. Tara had sworn they weren't dating, but that fact only made Sam more disturbed.
---
As the duo reached the top of the stairs, Tara simply shot Sam a soft smile and a thumbs up, though, she didn't look worry-free, either. See, deep down, Tara knows Amber's secret. But everytime she tries to gather her thoughts and actually try to confirm it, she feels ridiculous. Honestly, her head cannot wrap around any of her friends having the ability to murder people in cold blood.
Though, on those addictive nights, when the both of them are alone, with Amber knuckle deep inside Tara, she sees it. Even through hooded, pleasure-blurred eyes, she still sees it. The teeth-shattering clenching of her jaw. The horrifyingly psychotic grin on her lips. The narrowing of her cold eyes, as she studies every muscle in Tara's face, taking in the sight of her edging on the border of pleasure and pain. Amber is psychotic. Yet Tara can't help coming back for more. Amber's got her wrapped around her finger. Around multiple, on a lucky night.
Tara snaps out of her thoughts at the sound of the bedroom door closing. Amber's hand slips out of hers. "So," she starts, walking towards her desk, fetching the inhaler. She holds the device between her pointer finger and thumb, toying with it, wiggling it from side to side. "Were you really in need of this?" She steps closer to Tara, who is still standing in front of the closed door. "Or did you just need an excuse to... see me once more?" She smirked as she stood right in front of the smaller girl, looking down at her.
Tara felt the squeeze of her lungs, begging to be pried open again. She also felt the increasing dampness of her underwear, clinging to her skin. "Both," she muttered out, looking up at Amber's piercing eyes with her own, desperate, doe-like ones.
Amber hummed at the pretty sight, leaning in closer, hovering over Tara's lips after she licked her own. "Open up, baby," she spoke suggestively. Fully aware of Amber's habit of spitting in her mouth, Tara complied almost immediately, sticking out her tongue slightly. It was one of those more lewd things Amber introduced her to, and she eventually grew to love, now even more than Amber did, arguably so.
Amber scoffed and shook her head softly, smirking down at the younger girl. She looked down at her hand holding the inhaler as she brought it up to Tara's lips. She sighed, teasingly. "Always such an eager slut."
Tara blushed furiously at her slip-up and rolled her eyes at Amber's misleading games, but finding the humor in it nonetheless. She quickly wrapped her lips around her inhaler, looking back in Amber's eyes. The medication filled her lungs, and she let out a satisfied sigh. She felt the heat slowly move away from her cheeks. It traveled down to her core instead when Amber muttered out a soft, yet possessive praise, tucking the inhaler in the latina's back pocket, not missing the chance of giving her ass a good squeeze.
Tara couldn't stop the little whine that escaped her lips. Her body was extra sensitive, still on-edge from the brutal attack she endured a few days ago. She wasn't sure if it was pleasure or pain she felt. Then again, with Amber, she never really knew.
Amber's hand traced the line of Tara’s jaw, fingers cold and firm, forcing Tara out of her own head again. The smaller girl's big, brown eyes looked up at Amber, who's smirk deepened, as she leaned in, her breath ghosting over Tara's mouth before she closed the distance. Their kiss was slow, almost teasing. Amber’s lips were soft, a stark contrast to the sharp edge of her demeanor, but her kiss held that same power, her dominance. It made Tara's knees buckle, her crutches dropping to the floor as she vulnerably steadied herself in Amber's arms, reaching up to hold her face.
Amber bent through her knees slightly, gripping at Tara's thighs, picking her up. Tara whimpered, feeling her body's injuries burn and ache as Amber's grip pulled at her skin. The pain slightly ebbed away when Amber's back met with her mattress and Tara now straddled one of her thighs. She immediately ground down, rutting her hips eagerly, sitting upright. She had one hand grabbing Amber's shirt, and the other against her mouth, biting at her nail. Finally, she had an opportunity to release some of the ever-growing tension for Amber between her thighs.
Amber loved the sight of the girl on top of her. She looked desperate and sensitive and vulnerable with her eyes rolling back into her skull. Her little, whiny, pained huffs were the cherry on top. Amber could feel the yearning between Tara's legs radiate through the multiple layers of clothing between them. It only riled her up more, angling her thigh perfectly for Tara to grind against. Her ears feasted on the pitchy, broken moans rolling off her lips. They reminded her of the ones Tara released a few nights prior, after Amber had slid the knife into her stomach for the first time, and she desperately tried to crawl away on her kitchen floor.
At that memory, Amber lifted up Tara's shirt, biting her lip at the sight of the stitches on her stomach, and the soft abs rippling underneath them as the latina continuously rutted her hips against Amber's thigh. She traced the forming scar tissue with her fingertip, admiring her work.
Tara frowned at the feeling, snapping out of her blissful state. Suddenly, the gut-wrenching reality of the situation dawned on her again. Killer on the loose. Friends dying. Organs ripping. Blood pooling. Stitches pulling. Grinding on her number one suspect's thigh.
She halted her movements, her eyes opening, immediately darting to that familiar, psychotic smirk aimed at her.
"You've always looked pretty, covered in my marks."

PSYCHO KILLER - SCREAM
Summary: in which Iris Morris has to navigate her personal relationships while surviving a psycho.
Warnings: Fem!reader, angst, mention of blood, violence, swearing, death, Amber freeman x Fem reader, Tara Carpenter x Fem reader, multiple parts
Word count: +5k
A/n: the story will follow the events of Scream 5 and 6. English is not my first language, so I apologize for any grammatical mistake. Also I use Alycia Debnam Carey as Iris face claim but you all can use whoever you might like.
Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5, Part 6, Part 7, Part 8, Part 9
"Welcome to act three"
Iris watched as her girlfriend shot Liv in the head while smirking. She pointed the gun at Sam and just as her finger pulled the trigger, Iris didn't think twice before slamming her body against hers pushing her into the wall. The bullet ended up hitting the ceiling as she shouted for Sam and Tara to run.
Amber tried to point her gun once again at Tara but Iris was clinging into her arm making her unable to use it.
"Don't make me hurt you" Amber grunted in rage as they struggled with each other. Iris tried to get the gun from her but Amber suddenly squeezes the wound on her thigh, making Iris scream in pain and let go of her.
Suddenly she felt something dig into her stomach. She hitched a breath as she looked down and saw Amber's hand holding the handle of a knife. She could feel the blade twisting in her insides as they locked eyes.
"You just fucking stabbed me". She choked out, her eyes fired in betrayal. The girl who had been nothing but sweet to her, the girl who always made sure they didn't leave each other without saying I love you, the girl who cooked her favorite meals. That girl was also the same one who was stabbing her right now.
"You left me no choice baby. I don't want to hurt you but I can't let you ruin everything". She pressed one of her hands on her cheek as she listened to Iris's sobs. "Don't cry baby, everything is going to be okay. Just don't get involved".
"It was you". She breathed out in pain. "At the hospital, you attacked us, you are the one who hurt me".
"You weren't supposed to be there". Amber gaze sombered. "But of course you had to be there with Tara. I had to slowed you down somehow". She took out the knife out of her body and Iris let out a scream of pain as she tried to support herself with the wall.
"She's your best friend".
"She needs to die".
"You're insane". Iris whispered hatefully at her now clearly ex girlfriend. "I won't let you touch her".
Amber had a new wave of rage engulfed her and she growled as she stepped forward and stabbed her once again.
"Stop pissing me off, don't talk about her". Amber pulled the knife out of her stomach once again and then rested it on Iris's cheek as she gently whispered. "Can't you realize I'm doing all of this for us? So that we can be together forever".
Iris didn't answer as she doubled up in pain and she slowly fell to the ground.
"You're mine". Amber looked at her. "No one is going to take you away from me, not her nor anyone".
"I hate you".
Amber looked at her sadly. "You'll learn to forgive me". She left her there and Iris couldn't do anything but pass out while looking at Mindy's and Liv's bodies.
A few moments later, she woke up dizzy from the blood loss and she tried to straighten up using the wall for support. She got on her knees and saw Sam's jacket lying in the ground. She crawled to it and once she took it, she wrapped it tightly around her stomach to stop the blood from spilling. She heard shouting coming from the hall and she thought she recognized Sidney and Sam's voice. She hurried up in the best way she could but before going there she grabbed an umbrella she saw resting beside the chimney. It will have to work for now.
"Shoot him". She heard Sidney's voice.
She approached the door just in time to see Richie getting close to Sam. "Thank god you're okay, cause I really... really wanted to be the one to kill you". And then stabbed her in the side while Richie held her up with his other hand. Sam stared up at him in horror just like she had stared at Amber moments prior. He twisted the knife inside Sam as she screamed in pain, Sidney tried to move towards him but he pointed a gun she didn't see him holding at her. "Sit the fuck down".
Before he could hurt any of them once again, Iris came out of hiding using the umbrella to hit Richie in the head repeteadly. He let go of Sam as he fell to the floor but it wasn't enough to seriously hurt him as he threw a kick at her that hit directly at her stomach and she fell backwards with him pointing his gun at her.
"You know Iris, you keep annoying me".
"I fucking knew it was you, you bitch". He stood up and kick her once again just to smile once he saw her doubled up on pain.
"You were right and yet you still failed". He was going to kick her again when Amber swiftly took her mask off and locked eyes with her.
Just as Richie put the gun threathreadly into her forehead, Amber spoke up. "That's enough Richie, we have other things to worry about".
"You see the only reason I haven't already stab you to death is because Amber put you off limits". He looked her up and down. "Seeing the state you are though, seems like she did the damage herself".
She spat at him and he fell backwards in disgust. "Fuck you".
He wiped her spit and gave the gun to Amber as she raised it at Sidney. Iris watched with tear-filled eyes as Richie pulled Tara's inhaler from his pocket, displaying it for Sam with a look of satisfaction. "I can't believe this worked," he said, tossing it behind him as he smirked smugly. "I know. It's a bummer it had to be me"
Richie then pulled out a voice changer from his other pocket, laughing manically. "But it was really the best choice for the movie."
"This isn't a fucking movie!" Sam retorted, wincing with pain from the stab wound and the betrayal.
"No, but it will be". Richie replied coldly, as he turned to Amber. "That's the point, right Amber?".
"Right Richie. Third Act bloodbath, check! Killers revealed, check! Time for the big finale!" Amber chuckled with delight as she strengthened her grip on Sidney's hair.
Iris couldn't believe this side of Amber was the real Amber she never got to meet. This psychopath killing machine. "You won't get away with this".
"I told you to not get involved baby".
"Don't fucking call me baby you psycho".
Amber chisted her teeth as she motioned to Richie to get a hold on Sam. "Now that's not the way to talk to your girlfriend". She tilted her head. "Let's get them to the kitchen".
"Stand up and walk". Amber turned to Iris as she spoke while she kept her gun pointed at Sidney, motioning for her to walk slowly while keeping a tight grip in her hair.
"Or what? You won't kill me Amber".
"No but I'll kill everyone else in front of you".
Iris slowly started walking towards the kitchen while she felt Amber shouting at Sidney to move. She needed to think of a plan and she needed it now.
"Someone has to save the franchise," Richie began, as he and Sam entered the kitchen, following Iris, Sidney and Amber. The ghostface girl had thrown the older woman to the floor near the end of the cupboard, with Sam on the other side. "The truth is, no one has made a great Stab movie since the first one."
Amber roughly grabbed Iris's shoulder and pushed her beside Sidney to keep her in check. She bounced up and down with excitement, her eyes locked into Iris, not liking the way the girl was looking at her.
"Cmon baby don't look at me like that, I'm also doing it for you, I told you". She tried to get closer while holding her knife.
"How the fuck would this be for me? You became the exact person who took my sister away from me".
"This people, they are not good for you, they don't get you like I do". She softly spoke to her as if trying to convince her. "We can become the final girls of this movie, we will be famous and rich, just you and me. No one to hold you back to this fucking city, especially not your stupid mother”.
"Then you should just kill me cause I would never be your final girl". Iris growled under her breath. “Don’t you ever insult my mother again bitch”
Amber slammed her knife into the table with such force that made Iris jumped. "You don't know what you're saying dear". She was shaking with barely contained rage.
"Hey, Amber, you want to go get the very ex-Mrs. Riley?" Richie asked her in order to distract her from her conversation with Iris just as he pointed his knife at Sam.
"Yeah I do" Amber said smiling as she hands him the gun, she was previously pointing at Sidney.
Once Amber left, Iris felt more blood spilling out from her as it seemed the jacket torniquete didn't work anymore. She gripped tightly into the kitchen table and tried to steady herself. Sidney beside her made a move to check on her while trying to take a knife before Richie started shouting.
""Hey! Whoa..whoa." Richie yelled making her step back as he approached her. "Sidney Prescott. You know...I’m a really big fan." Richie said with a grin.
"Go fuck yourself" Sidney scoffed at him.
"You see the last stab movie?" He questioned as if any of them gave a shit about those movies.
"Not really a fan of scary movies." Sidney replied.
"That checks out. Anyway, it sucked balls. Because nobody takes the true fans seriously. Not really. They just laugh at us, and why? Because we love something? We’re e just a fucking joke to them. How can fandom be toxic? It's about love! They don't fucking understand that these movies are important to people." He yelled into Sidney's face as he took the opportunity to raise his gun at Iris. He truly hated her ass.
"Cool motive, still murder you fucker".
"Richie..." Sam pleaded from her spot holding into her stomach.
"We're gonna help them! Hollywood's totally fucking out of ideas, so we decided we'd give them some new source material to follow. You know, bring it back to basics. Because that's how you make a great stab movie, Sam." Richie now turned his gun to Sam while looking at her with a dark crazy gaze. "Based on actual events".
"I don't know who needs to hear this but no one gives a shit about your stupid movies Richie". Iris shouted in his face.
Amber reappeared with an injured Gale, now forcefully placing her into a seat by the other counter.
"Gale!" Sidney called out to her. Amber now stood in front of the woman mimicking some stabbing motion.
"You did all this just to make me the hero of your fucked-up movie?" Sam's nostrils flared outwards as she snapped at Richie.
"Sweetie, you're not the hero." He said while prolonging eye contact with his girlfriend as he rested his gun underneath Sam's chin. "You're the villain. The daughter of Billy Loomis who sees fucked-up visions of her dead dad? Sidney Prescott killed your father. You did all this just to get her back to Woodsboro".
"You know the biggest problem with stab movies is? There's no Michael Myers or Jason Voorhees. No bad guys coming back. But the illegitimate daughter of the original mastermind? Now that's a fucking villain" Amber intervined smiling excitedly at Sidney as she explained their plan.
"How did you know?" Sam questioned.
"About your father?" Amber laughed loudly. "I mean, it's a small town and your mom's a drunk! I met Richie on the Stab subreddit. I've been obsessed ever since my parents bought this house. We realized pretty quickly we had similar ideas."
"Wasn't that hard for me to find you in Modesto" Richie got close to Sam. "It wasn't that hard for me to fuck you, either. But I guess being a sexually available woman is supposed to be empowering these days."
"Fuck you!" The woman snapped back.
"Well, now you're just quoting the original," Richie chuckled.
"But it wouldn't work with just you, Sam," Amber smiled mischievously, turning to look at Sidney. "See, we had to bring the legacy characters back to make it matter. Can't have a bona fide Halloween without Jamie Lee".
While Amber and Richie did their monologue, they seemed to forget about her as they were too excited with their schemes. She had the time to take notice of a knife laying in the table under some red cup.
"Dewey had to die to make it real. To show that this wasn't just some bullshit, cash-in, run-of-the-mill sequel. Because our movie has fucking stakes! 'Cause anyone can die in a requel". Amber continued talking and Iris silently motioned Sidney to grab the knife as she nodded in acknowledgment. The woman lunged for the knife that was lying on the table, but Amber was too fast and she sunk her knife into Sidney's stomach in a quick motion.
Iris let out a scream and she tried to move forward but Amber grabbed a hold of her hair and pushed her to the floor. Gale fell off her chair as she watched Sidney getting stabbed and Richie was now pointing his gun at Sam once again when he saw her making a move towards the other three women.
"Sit the fuck down!"
"I'm so sorry, Sid". Richie teased as he crouched down to her. "We can't let you live, either. I mean, surviving this many times... that would just be ridiculous. This time the fans are gonna be the ones who win. That about cover it?"
"Nailed it, Richie."
"Get Tara out of the closet. We got to start staging the bodies!"
"If they move kill them, don't wait for me". Amber informed his accomplice before she left the room. "Except for Iris don't touch her".
"If she doesn't cooperate?".
Amber turned her gaze at her. "We'll make her". She winked at the girl and left the room in an excited stride.
The moment Amber left the room, Sam moved to Iris in order to press harder into her wound. She saw the girl looking paler every second they keep wasting and losing her balance. She wasn't going to let her pass out.
"You need to hold on, okay?". Sam whispered, they could both hear Gale words of encouragement towards Sidney.
"We're gonna die, Sam. I'm sorry".
"Don't apologize, you have nothing to do with this".
"Look at Amber, she's insane. I should've known fuck I'm so sorry". Iris silently cried out in fear. "I'm the reason she hurt Tara".
"You really should've listened to Dewey," Richie laughed to himself. "He nailed it in one! Dude, look at the love interests! Are you fucking stupid?" He turned his head at Sam. "I even had you convinced it could be your sister."
"Even you Iris, always thinking you're smarter than everyone else. You didn't even realize you were sleeping with the enemy". He got close to them as he raised his gun at her.
"Amber said you can't kill me".
"No, but I can still hurt you". He kicked her in her side, making her twist in agony. Sam tried to lunge forward at him but he was faster and threatened her with his gun, forcing her to go back to her place.
"Um... She's not here!" Amber's voice called distantly from somewhere in the house. Iris's heart flutter at the thought of Tara being safe.
"The fuck you mean, she's not here?" Richie nervously flickered his gaze.
"I untied her," Sam admitted, enjoying the look on Richie's face. "Guess you're not as persuasive as you thought." Iris started laughing, coughing from the pain in her abdomen, which only made her laugh harder. Maybe she was going insane.
Richie aimed the gun at her but jumped when the telephone next to him rang, its high-pitched tone echoing through the house.
"That's for you". Sam told him.
"Yeah, like your gimpy little sister's gonna make a difference. She's our fucking pincushion at this point." He grew more agitated the more his plan seemed to waver. "Amber! Fan out. She couldn't have gotten far."
"I can't find he..." Amber's voice was abruptly silenced by the sound of her scream. Sam and Iris looked at each other preparing themselves to attack. Maybe it was the adrenaline, the hope that maybe they could survive this or maybe she was just insane but suddenly she didn't feel any pain.
"Amber?" Richie called out to her losing his concentration. Both Sam and Iris took advantage of the distraction, lunging at Richie as he headed toward Amber's cries. Sam pushed his arm upward, firing a bullet into the ceiling as they fought over the gun in his hands.
The three of them fell as Sam slammed Richie's hand into the floor to try to get him to let go of the gun as another bullet was fired. Iris took advantage of the momentum and straddled Richie's hips to punch him over and over again in the face. Richie used his knee to kick her in the stomach to push her off him. Just as he was standing up, Sam bit him in his injured arm, making him scream in agony.
"Go look for Tara, I got him".
Iris rushed as fast as she could to the other room and found Tara hitting Amber with one of her crutches. Amber hit her in her broken leg making Tara fall from the pain and she quickly moved towards her and slammed her head to the wall.
Iris moved and tackled Amber making both of them fall into the floor.
In the dimly lit room, the two of them clashed with fierce intensity. Iris tried to gain the upper hand, her muscles straining as she tried to pin Amber down. The room echoed with the sounds of grunts and thuds as they fought, their breaths coming in ragged gasps. Amber put her thumb in her stab wound making Iris weakened her grip on Amber's body. The girl spun them around and now Amber was on top.
"Stop fighting me you bitch".
"Amber you need to stop, you'll die" Iris tried to make her reason.
"Too late to back down now baby, join us please I don't want to hurt you". Amber put her hands around her throat choking her slightly as she tried to overpower Iris.
"So you can go and kill them all? So you can go and kill Tara?".
"God you are choosing her? After everything?". Amber threw a punch to her face, leaving Iris's head spinning in pain. She could taste the metalllic taste of blood in her tongue, she's pretty sure her nose is broken. "I thought taking that stupid letter and writing that text would've been enough to separate you two but it seems I have to kill her for you to stop caring".
"You fucking bitch". Tara was back on her feet, and swinged her crutch at Amber's head again.
Amber yelled out in pain, but she was quick to turn around and grabbed Tara's shoulder throwing her over the couch. Tara's head hit the one of the tables and she felt unconscious.
"Sam! Where you going!?" Richie's voice echoed through the house "Your big scene's coming up!"
Amber took a last look at her and walked back into the kitchen, before being dragged down to the floor by Sidney.
Iris crawled her way back to Tara and once she saw her still breathing, she stood up with the last of her efforts and moved towards the kitchen.
Amber screamed as she slipped, the gun in her hands clattering to the floor as she scurried to her feet and grabbed the knife on the counter aiming at Sidney's head taking the woman by surprise.
Iris in her panicked state did the only thing she could think of. Distraction.
"NO Amber no I love you, don't do it". Iris tried to distract her. Amber lowered her knife and turned to look at her with a hopeful smile mixing with her maniac face.
"You do?".
"NOW". Iris shouted as Sidney lunged forward and made Amber lose her grip in the knife as they sent her towards the kitchen counter.
Sidney grabbed a glass bottle of hand sanitizer from the kitchen countertop, drew her arm back, and smashed it against Amber's face.
"Fucking hand sanitizer?". Amber shrieked, blinded as she frantically clawed at the liquid stinging her eyes. Gale and Sidney seized her, forcefully hurling her over the counter.
"No, no, no, it's not my fault!" Amber yelled, her voice and facial expressions now changing to the Amber she had know for years. It almost hurt her seeing her like this. Almost . "It's not my fault!"
"Let me guess, the movies made you do it?" Sidney rolled her eyes tiredly, this is definitely not the first time she heard this.
"No, it was the message boards! I was radicalised!"
"By movie fans?"
"Yes, they're so mad! Please, it's not my fault, I'm just a dumb kid!" Amber begged, she raised her arms in a pleading manner as she looked at them. "I wanted to be a part of something!"
"You have to believe me Iris, you know me" She continued pleading.
"A part of something?!" Gale shouted, her anger escalating as Amber struggled to pull herself together. "You killed my best friend!"
"Yeah". Amber replied, her psychotic grin making a come back. "And he died like a pussy!"
Gale struck her in the face with a blow, and Amber grabbed her shoulders to threw them both across the room in a fit of rage. She shoved her fist into Gale's gunshot wound, making the older woman cry in pain.
Iris moved to attack, slamming into Amber and clawing at the woman to release her from Gale. She tried to wrap her arms around her neck to try and stop from attacking anyone else.
Amber shrugged Iris off by punching into her thigh and making her stumble into the floor.
Iris let out a muffled cry of pain as she knelt over the ground, the blood pooling out of her again and pressing a hand against the wound on her stomach as Amber turned around to look at Gale on the ground.
"I was the last thing Dewey saw before he died too. I can't believe I get to do you both!" Amber chuckled with delight. "No last-minute saves this time. Your story's over! Time to pass the torch!"
Gale took one look at Iris surprised she was still trying to fight before turning back to Amber and reaching up to press on her shoulders. "It's all yours, bitch!"
She head butted Amber so strongly that it sent her tumbling backwards towards Iris. The girl stuck out her foot in purpose, making the girl trip over it, sending her tumbling into the stove and accidentally switching the gas on in the process, erupting the kitchen stove in flames.
Sidney and Gale both rushed to help the girl stand up and they all walked over to Amber's defeated figure.
"You want to do the honors?" Gale asked Sidney.
Sidney shook her head. "This one's yours."
"No no don't shoot me please". Amber shouted while trying to placate the fire in her body. "Iris baby, aren't you forgetting something?".
A rage washed over the younger girl, remembering the game they used to play to say I love you to each other but now it just didn't hit the same. A cruel smile was plastered on Iris's face as Amber locked eyes with her for the last time. "No, I'm not forgetting anything".
She turned to Gale, who was waiting for her permission. "Kill the bitch".
Gale shot her three times in the chest making her fall backwards and since the girl's body remained covered with hand sanitizer, once she fell face first into the stove, she set herself on fire. With a final thud, Amber collapsed to the floor, leaving the other three people in the room stunned.
"Enjoy that torch". Sidney muttered.
Iris stumbled forward and had to lean on Gale as Sidney rushed to her side once more.
"You need to sit Iris". She tried helping the girl but Iris refused the help.
"I'll sit when Tara and Sam are okay". The other two women looked at each other before they each wrapped an arm around her to help her walk towards the living room. Once she saw Tara slowly waking up, she distangled herself from the women and crouched down to her.
"Thank god you're okay". Iris whispered as she rested her hand on Tara's right cheek.
"How am I still alive?". Tara muttered in confusion.
"God if I knew, I think you might be the fucking terminator". They shared a painful laugh. "Amber's dead".
"I'm sorry".
"I'm not, I hope she rots in hell". Iris saw Amber's gun lying beside Tara and grabbed it without ever thinking. She then helped the girl stand up and the four women made their way towards the sounds of fighting. It seemed like Sam was finishing Richie off.
They found the girl cleaning a knife off with Richie's dead body at her feet.
"Careful, they always come back," Sidney muttered once she saw Sam coated in his blood.
She grabbed the gun from Sidney as she turned to face them, then shot Richie three times in the body, including once in the head just to make sure.
"Well damn".
A moment of stillness fell upon them all, and then the women spun around in response to a high-pitched scream coming from behind them. Amber was running towards them with her face completely burnt with her skin melting off. She charged towards Tara when Iris pulled out the gun she kept hidden and shot her straight in the head, finally silencing the girl forever.
"You were a shitty girlfriend anyway". After she pulled the trigger, she fell unconscious.
The paramedics carefully maneuvered Iris into a stretcher through the narrow corridor.
Iris, who was pale but now conscious, was gently secured and her wounds were now attended.
As she was being rushed into the ambulance, she saw Chad and Mindy in the same situation as her. Chad had a mask of oxygen over his face as he gave her a thumbs up while being loaded up into his ambulance. Mindy's stretcher was placed right beside her and the girl had a huge bandage over his shoulder and some stitches in her forehead. They just stared at each other for a moment before Mindy raised her hand to high-five her. Iris softly laughed while holding her stomach in pain.
"Love you Minds, thank god you're both alive".
"Love you too, Ris" She smiled gently at her. "Though we really need to talk about your terrible taste in women".
Iris gave her the middle finger and said goodbye when she saw her disappear into the ambulance. A few seconds later, she saw Sam and Tara making their towards her. Sam had her stomach wrapped in a bloody bandage while Tara was walking with the help of her crutches. Overall they all looked like shit.
They both were wearing worried expression as they noticed the state she was in. Bandages with blood already pouring, stitches in the forehead, a black eye and a bandaid in the nose.
"Careful guys you both looked like someone died in here". Sam merely gave her an unamused glance as Tara snorted. "In my defense they just gave me five different types of drugs".
"You're an idiot"
"But a hilarious one" Iris winked at Tara while the girl just smiled at her stupidity.
"You're traumatized".
"Is there a difference truly?
Sam went into serious mode and laid a hand on Iris's shoulder out of gratitude. "Thank you Ris for what you did out there, you had our back".
"And you guys had mine, we are a team now".
"I called your mom, she's definitely on her way". Sam added, as Iris widened her eyes in fear.
"Oh god she's going to be so mad".
"Well she did tell you to not get involved".
"You know what's the worst thing though?". Iris sighed in disappointment. "It's not the betrayal, the blood nor the killing".
"It's the fact that my mom will literally never shut up about this like I'll have to hear countless of hours of her telling me "I told you so" because she never liked Amber".
"Admitting you were wrong? Yeah that definitely sounds worse than dying".
"God I know"
Some minutes later, Sam left claiming she needed to talk to the police so she stayed with Tara, who was holding herself with her crutches.
"You know those crutches are an amazing weapon, wouldn't want to cross you".
"I was worried for you". Tara took a deep breath as she ordered her thoughts. "You could've died in there Iris, you shouldn't have jumped at Amber like that".
"She was going to kill you". Iris steeled her expression. "I told you I was going to end whoever tried to hurt you".
"Not if it costs your life". No one was out there to hurt them anymore but Tara's heart ponded with fear at the thought of losing Iris forever.
"Duly noted. I guess next time I'll just let you die."
"You're an idiot". This was the second time someone called her that in less than fifteen minutes. Tara leaned forward slightly towards Iris. "But I don't know what I would do without you".
Iris clasped their hands together. "Then it's a good thing we don't have to find out". She brought Tara's hand to her lips and pressed a soft kiss to it. A deep blush raced up Tara's cheeks, she had to turned her head in embarrassment.
They kept their eyes locked together, refusing to take their eyes off each other and after a moment of silence the shorter girl spoke up.
"Your mom is coming... she's fuming". They both turned around to see the woman marching their way wearing an angry expression. "Not even almost dying will save you"
"Jesus". Iris was dead, rip.
"What phrase you want in your grave? I was thinking beloved friend but I kinda would be lying"
"Fuck you carpenter".

Mindy: You don’t know talk dirty?
Sam: Im just….. not used to doing that.
Anika: Did Richie ever…..actually don’t answer that.
Sam: Ugh I don’t what to say. I just don’t feel sexy. How do you girls do it?
Mindy: I mean me and Anika have our own dirty talk. I don’t exactly want to get into it. But uh…. Tara! What about you and Amber?
Tara takes a moment to remember the last thing Amber said during sex.
Amber: I’m going to take everything from you. And make you suffer.
Tara: Uh…… she’s not much into dirty talk either.

Woe and behold
request linked here
pairing: amber freeman x female reader
warnings: death, betrayal, murder, blood,
a/n: IM SORRY TARA. IM SORRY READERS. guys i’m back writing again so feel free to send requests :)
“Hi baby.”
I smile at Tara’s pet name as I walk over to our group during our lunch break ignoring Ambers lingering glare towards Tara.
“Hi.” I reply sitting beside Tara and leaning over to kiss her cheek gently. Sitting back against the bench I glare at Amber for a second before turning back to Tara who now rests her head against my shoulder.
“Do you wanna come over later? Sam’s not gonna be home for hours.” She raises her eyebrows suggestively and I let out a laugh. “Sorry, I have an assignment I need to start, next time though I promise.” I kiss her forehead gently before turning my attention back to the group most of which didn’t even notice our affection exchange.
……
School finishes rather early today, letting me head home at a decent time.
Opening my front door I head to my kitchen, humming a tune as I open the fridge and sigh at the lack of contents inside. I debate what to do next when a thud in the other room causes me to pause, my hands moving slowly towards the knives beside the microwave.
“Hello?” I call into the empty apartment, the largest knife gripped so tight in my hand my knuckles bleed white. “If this is some kind of prank Mindy I’m going to have your head.” I yell out again slowly inching towards the living room.
Silence encompasses the house. Not even a whistle of the wind can be heard as I creep along the carpeted floor.
But the silence disappears as quickly as it appeared as another thud causes my head to snap around, a figure dressed in black with a white mask rushing at me.
Ghostface.
I scream as it wraps it’s arms around my torso, the glint of the knife pressing to my throat gently enough as to not draw blood but hard enough that I know if I move it’ll hurt.
Panting can be heard from behind the mask before an arm is removed from my waist to pull of the hood revealing the face behind it.
“Hi baby.” Ambers cheeks are slightly red as she giggles at my glare.
“Your an asshole you know that? We aren’t meant to be in our ghostface costumes unless we are actually pulling a murder.” I snap shoving Ambers shoulder as she pulls the knife from my throat.
The black haired girl pouts. “I wanted to see you. And I wanted to go over the plan again.” Her arms wrap around my waist, the black robe pressed against my body.
“Your lucky I love you.” I narrow my eyes playfully before leaning in to kiss her lips. “Yeah, I know.” Amber replies cheekily before leaning in to kiss me again.
“Can we kill Tara next? Please?” Amber pulls back and presses her forehead to my own. I raise an eyebrow at her question, my own forming on the tip of my tongue. “Are you jealous baby?” I smile slightly and lean over to peck her jaw as she frowns. “Just- I don’t understand why you have to pretend to date her.” Amber shrugs looking towards the floor.
I chuckle gently and tilt her chin back up so she can face me. “I love you Amber. Not Tara. I’m only dating her to have an alibi for the murders. She’s nothing to me. I promise.” I reassure the girl before me who nods slowly. “Ok.” She replies and nuzzles her face into the crook of my neck before pulling back suddenly.
“Don’t you have an assignment to do?” Amber asks with a puzzled frown. I shake my head and move my mouth beside her ear. “Lies. I just didn’t wanna fuck Tara. She doesn’t do it as good as you.” I whisper breathily, smiling at the goosebumps arising on her neck and the tightened grip on my waist.
“Wanna prove that theory?” Ambers eyes go dark as she gently pushes me towards my room. I nod enthusiastically smashing my lips against hers in search of satisfying the fire burning at my core.
……
“Welcome to act three.” Amber pulls the gun from her pants and shoots Liv straight through the forehead. Blood splatters all over my shirt as I fake a scream, pretending to be terrified. “Run.” Sam shouts, grabbing Richies hand and heading out the room, bullets narrowly missing her figure much to my disappointment.
“Baby, follow me quickly.” Tara cries hobbling in the doorway on her crutches. Amber stands on the other end of the room causing me to glance between the two.
“Baby?” Tara’s voice holds caution as she remains frozen in place. “Sorry T, but she’s not your baby anymore.” Amber smirks maliciously, her hand extended to me.
I laugh at Tara’s shock before moving to grab Ambers hand and pulling her in for a passionate kiss. My body remains glued to Ambers as I release her lips only to see Tara had disappeared. “Coward.” I scoff kissing Amber quickly before taking the gun from her hand.
“Hey baby I wanted the gun.” Amber pouts. My eyes roll playfully before I lean in close to her ear. “If I get the gun then once this is all over I’ll make it up to you.” I pur.
Amber nods enthusiastically before pressing a kiss to my lips. “I’ll find Sammy, you look for Tara.”
Nodding, we head out seperate ways. “Tara. Baby. I promise I’ll make this quick.” I shout maniacally, slamming open doors and dragging the gun against the walls to increase the tension and hopefully her terror.
Only when a crutch smacks me in the face do I realise I had fallen into a trap. Tara swipes her second crutch under my legs causing me to tumble to the floor, my gun clattering out of my hands and under the table inches away from my fingertips. Her moonboot digging into my side time and time again.
“No, I’m sorry baby. Your hurting me Tar. Please.” I beg curling in on myself as she continues battering me with her crutches. “You. Mother. Fucker.” She pants, the hits slowing as she grows tired. Her hesitancy as I plead gives me enough time to kick my foot hard against her broken ankle, a snap causing her to scream out in pain before collapsing against the wall.
I leap up, pushing my hand against her throat ignoring her cry. “You couldn’t even tell your own girlfriend didn’t love you.” I pout condescendingly.
Tara paws at my hands, tears spilling down her cheeks as her breathing slows. Just as her hands go limp my own breath gets caught in my throat. Pain rushes through my stomach and I instinctively drop my hand from her throat and move it to my abdomen.
Looking down, blood pours from a bullet wound, the red pooling on the floor just inches from where Tara has collapsed onto her knees. “Touch my sister again you bitch. I dare you.” Sam spits from behind me, gun outstretched in her hand.
My breathing comes out in short sharp gasps, no words leaving my throat as I attempt to speak. With a strangled gasp, I collapse to my knees tears flowing down my cheeks.
“Amber.” I manage to whine earning a scoff from the tall dark haired woman before me. “She’s gone.” Sam snaps placing the gun down to reach for Tara who holds her throat, eyes wide and vulnerable as she gazes at me.
“Please.” I pray on her vulnerability, reaching a hand to her to which Sam slaps away.
“You motherfuckers.” A high pitched screech echoes throughout the hallway before a pattering of footsteps causes Sam to re grab the gun.
Ambers jaw is clenched tightly, her hand wrapped around the knife as she lunges at Sam swinging wildly. “I’m gonna rip out your heart you coward.” She screams before another gun shot is heard, Amber freezing in place.
“No.” I gasp finding enough strength to reach for the black haired girl who stumbles slightly gazing up at Sam in torment before collapsing against the wall, slowly falling to the ground.
Reaching her side, my body slumps against the wall, rejecting my attempts at moving closer. Removing my bloodied hands from my stomach I press them against her chest where her blood pours from.
“No. No.” She whimpers, blinking slowly, her gaze moving from the sisters to my eyes, her brown softening slightly. “Not you.” She manages to wheeze. Tears crawl down her cheeks, a weak hand raising to cup my face.
Both Carpenters remain on the other side of the room, now standing up, Tara’s arm wrapped tightly around Sams waist in order to remain stable. “Come on let’s get out of here. Let them be.” Sam looks almost sorrowful as she leads the shorter girl out the house. Tara looks back only once as they walk away, her own tears falling over her quivering lips. “Goodbye.” She whispers to herself.
“Keep your eyes open for me baby.” Amber breathes, her chest rising and falling with difficulty. I smile dopily at her but that smile falters as her hand drops from my face, her own face scrunching up in a grimace, the pain spreading from her chest as more blood pours out of her wound.
“Ambs.” I manage to breathe, the searing pain in my stomach increasing as sobs begin racking my body. Amber groans half heartedly, her head lolling to the side. “No no no no.” I whimper. My hand presses as hard as I can possibly can against her chest pleading the blood to stop pouring as I watch her chest slowly stop rising.
Heartache tears through my chest, the torturous feeling worse than the bullet wound as I watch the woman I love mosts eyes become devoid of her usual soft brown.
“I love you baby.” I wheeze letting my own head fall against her chest, ignoring her bloody wound. It can’t hurt her anymore.
I can’t find the energy to remain with my eyes open, not wanting to witness Ambers corpse any longer. Instead I succumb to the dark blanket of death, feeling my chest slow and the pain fade.
And just as I find myself drifting into the endless void, Ambers voice echoes through my head.
“See you on the other side.”
