I've seen how people love bringing up how Xolo hated/hates Samiguel for proof Sam is a horrible character and how she is to blame for everything in the relationship, and media literacy or recognizing both characters have faults seems real dead

When he said their relationship was toxic, I don’t think he was implying that Sam was the sole cause of the toxicity. It’s possible he meant that Miguel contributed as well, especially since Miguel had major trust issues. That’s one of the recurring themes in Cobra Kai—this communication void that so many characters fall into. It’s easy for people to just jump on Sam and blame her, but honestly, toxicity isn’t one-sided. For example, I thought Miguel and Tory’s relationship was toxic too because she was manipulative and I feel the same way about Tory and Robby. Not so much Robby, but Tory’s manipulative nature and lack of openness make it unfair for Robby to be in that dynamic.

On a more positive note, I remember Billy mentioning that he liked Sam and Miguel as a couple during that ‘Kick It or Keep It’ game. I think he said “keep it,” though I can’t recall the exact reason he gave. I also remember Jacob and Mary saying “keep it” too. At the end of the day, it feels like people are just looking for reasons to hate on Sam, which is really unfair.

We learned silver is sick which I wish they gave us this storyline earlier. Kreese is actually doing good things and not being evil lls and the teens are trying to figure out their futures!
