(latepost) to make a trip to Puri Indah because there was an art opening at a gallery around the area so I asked @shutterfoodie if she wanted to come along and whilst we’re there, dropped by @pok.fan for some Taiwanese 卤肉饭 (Lu Rou Fan, ground pork marinated and boiled in soy sauce served on top of steamed rice.) Glad that there’s always Pok Fan to satisfy my craving whenever I feel like having some Taiwanese comfort food ans their minced pork over rice is pretty close to what you get in Taipei. Also shared a portion of the tea-soy tofu to start off our dinner coz we were so hungry and love how smooth and light the tofu was! ...and we have #soup, at last! Boy, that #beef took a while. The #cauliflower, #carrots, and broccoli# turned out alright -- deliberately a little crunchy -- and I love the taste of #SaltedVegetables. There is some curry powder mix, and a powder of cumin, along with some powdered ginger and some mustard oil. The salt was added halfway through the stewing. With all the addition of items tobthe beef on a whim I remembered the story of the Stone Soup, which I read back in Grade 2 :P

sop bakut sayur asin from @kedaikenanga for lunch. They serve these only on certain days (Friday is one of the days) and only a limited portion is being served. Love that soup broth, and the braised pork ribs that just falls off the bones.
