Qoftay
Qoftay mixture
Take blender
1 handful cilantro
1 small onions sliced
2 big green chilli peppers
2 lbs beef qeema
Grind
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp garlic
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp almond powder*
1 tsp cashew powder*
1 tbl coriander powder
2 tsp red chili pottwder
Grind to mix
Take out in bowl
Add 4 tbl roasted besan
1 large egg
Gravy
7 tbl oil
1 medium onion fry
1 tbl ginger
1 tbl garlic
1 tbl water or a little more
1 tbl coconut powder
1 tbl almond powder
1 tbl cashew powder
1 tbl red chilli powder
2 tbl coriander powder
2 tsp salt
2 tsp garam masala
1 tbl kashmiri chilli powder
Mix medium high
Add 1 tbl water
Keep mixing water for 6 mins
1/2 cup yogurt in 2 parts
Keep mixing
Medium low stove
1/4 cup Tomato puree (2 medium tomatoes grinded)
2 cup water
Cover on medium heat
Qoftay in salan
Make qofta by wetting hands
Oil should come over and consistency should be like nihrai
Made heat medium high while adding qofta
Do not use spoon. You can move the pot with hands once.
Cover and cook for 10 mins
Now use spoon to move qofta
Cover and cook on medium low for 10 mins
Add coliatro and green/red chilli.
Cover for 2 mins
Dish out
