Sleuth hated too admit it but that Cycloptic Red Kaiju was making them a better fighter…
After there debut fight on a beach at Sagami Bay, they just seemed too keep on crossing paths with each other.
And This Kaiju was something else entirely
They could speak and think for themselves, there strength and combat ability was absolutely fantastic. It was so good that Sleuth was sure that only a high grade Champion or higher could face off against this Kaiju which was a definitely a amazing achievement.
After there first fight there second fight followed shortly after with Sleuth Biomerged into MegaKabuterimon. This fight was definitely as tough as the first one, though the Red Kaiju did throw Sleuth for a loop when they called them a welp again and said that they were the same one they met on the beach.
That…was concerning
How did they tell they were a kid and that they were the same?
Sleuth and the Digimon would not get answers as they were busy fighting and the fight got pretty fierce with both opponent trading harsh blows. Eventually the fight with the Red Kaiju ( Which everyone started calling Red) ended with both having too run away when the Defense Force neared.
When they got back home and thought over that battle they realized something. They only had the basics of combat. Each time Sleuth fought when Biomerged it was a combination of there Digimon Partner and there knowledge of fighting that was used when ever they battled. It was more than enough too deal with the Kaiju they faced off with so far but against Red it lacked a lot of the needed skill and power too be more helpful in combat.
That wouldn't do at all. Sleuth couldn't let there Digimon shoulder the burden of battle alone. Sleuth had too get better not for themselves but for there friends.
And soon Sleuth started training and learning at the Digital Village's Dojo.
Fisticuffs were up first and there was a lot too cover. Sleuth knew that almost every form could get a massive boost if they learned proper combat techniques and so there journey began too master martial moves.
Sleuth learned different maneuvers and attacks from various martial schools with focus being on Art forms that used there entire body. From Kung-Fu all the way too Judo they learned various moves. The goal wasn't mastery of the entire art it was mastery over certain moves from each art too give a wider move pool.
And Sleuth definitely got more moves in there arsenal during the training.
Even The Burning Hammer! A dangerous wrestling move that was created by a Japanese Wrestler and only used about 7 Times in his career.
Though Sleuth's foe was not fragile that was for sure*
*CRACK*
GrapLeomon gritted his teeth as they heard the sickening crack of Red's neck. Another encounter with Red had led too this brawl too happen and thankfully it happened after Sleuth had gotten pretty far into there Martial training.
And the training was already showing major advances in Sleuth's strength.
Sleuth had initiated a Burning Hammer and the move was effective as it briefly immobilized Red most likely due too the broken neck. A brutal move but when Red got back up and started reattaching his head Sleuth knew that there opponent was anything but fragile.
After Martial Training Sleuth moved onto Artillery training
Sleuth could feel their eyesight sharpen and there draw become lightning fast. And Sleuth thought Beezlemon's speed with there shot guns couldn't get any better but with there aim and sheer precision excelling Sleuth knew that the training had given them a massive boost.
*BAM, BAM, BOOM*
Red's outer armor broke and Beezlemon gave the Kaiju little time too recover and aimed for open points in Red's armor.
Sword Techniques came after artillery training
Precise sword slashes. Each slash should be controlled and powerful with each strike you dish out
*SLASH*
Speed was paramount. Keep the momentum in your favor
*SLASH*
Control your breathing and focus. Take advantage of any opening too keep your opponent on there toes
*SLASH*
Red's Arm went flying after a precise strike from Zephagamon's blades
Yup….
Sleuth really was getting better at fighting aren't they…
What do you think?
No. 10 just casually accepts the Red nickname after multiple times. Even moreso as it became clear the whelp was getting stronger with each confrontation. Yet there's this hidden feeling between them that both were holding back.
Something which becomes clear when Sleuth brings out X-Evolution in the form of OmniShoutmon X to counter Red's larger true form. A very destructive battle ensues leaving the Defense Force confused once again as both retreat before the DF arrives. What kind of mystery kaiju they were dealing with that had the second highest fortitude to date.
Or the true extent to Sleuth's power as whatever they did overloaded all nearby servers with data to the point they crashed. This incident however revealed the last piece the Defense Force needed to begin their capture operation. Sleuth requires an internet connection in order to use that strange Connection Jump ability.
It was time to set an ambush and this time Vice Captain Soshiro would lead the charge.

EPISODE 3/8
Infirmary
Mitsuru: I'm strong, I can put my mind to it!
Hajime: Yes…! I’m going to do it now, Mitsuru-kun!
Alright..!
Mitsuru: Hajime-chan, that’s a little too much! You soaked the disinfectant into the wound!
But I can put up with it! Because I'm a strong child, a child of the wind…a healthy child!
Hajime: Mitsuru-kun is amazing. I respect you. But don’t run for a while because the wound is quite bad.
I’m treating the wound now, but be careful because you can get seriously injured.
…Alright. All done.
Mitsuru: Hehehe, sorry for making you worry~
Huh? Hajime-chan, I can hear your seniors' voice Mika-chan. It sounds like they’re in a hurry.
Hajime: Huh I can’t really hear..
I can’t hear it at all, Mitsuru-kun your ears are really good.
Mitsuru: Mhm! ☆
The voice is getting louder? I mean closer and closer to the infirmary.
Hajime: Eh?
Mika: Sagami-sensei! Yeah ,yeah!! Help Oshi-san and Mado-nee!
Huh? Only Hajime-kun and Mitsuru-kun’s here?
Hajime: Wow! Mitsuru-kun is amazing, Kagehira-senpai really came.
Hello, Kagehira-senpai. Mr.Sagami isn’t here now he’s in a meeting, I’m a temporary employee.
Mitsuru: Is Mika-chan-senpai holding Oshi-san-senpai? He looks very limp and in a bad condition~
Mika: Oh..oh! Oshi-san and Mado-nee collapsed! Their words were all strange and his actions were messed up too!
Why is there a staff meeting durin’ lunch break?! That’s not good, this isn’t good! If I wait till lunch ends Oshi-san might die!
W-waaaaahhhh…
That’s right! An ambulance, I have no choice but to call an ambulance!
What’s the ambulance number!?…hmm
I remembered! Kyukyusha!
Hajime: Please calm down! Kagehira-senpai your words and actions are incoherent.
Shu: ….Kagehi…ra...don’t touch…me…this….is…it’s just a cold…huh…hah..
Mika: Oshi-san! Are you okay!?
Hajime: Are you alright? Itsuki-senpai?
Shu: Huh…I can’t stay a..wake..
Mika: Uwaaaahh!? Did you faint again!? Oshi-san, don’t overdo yourself~!?
Or is it a cold!? You said you had a cold, didn’t you? What!? What cold is it!? An incurable disease!?
Hajime: Kagehira-senpai, really! Please calm down~ It’s just a normal cold with usual coughs and fevers. If you just rest, you’ll get better.
Mitsuru: Mika-chan-senpai seems to be very confused! Calm down~ wow, ha~
Mika: Wow~ha~....fu~
Oh…a cold, it’s just a cold…a disease I know..
I was so impatient that it sounded like an unknown disease…I should just wait..
Hajime: It can’t be helped, of course you’d be upset if a person important to you suddenly collapsed. For the time being..allow Itsuki-senpai to take a nap on the bed.
Mika: Yeah, yeah, I got it! It’s all good. Mado-nee will be sleeping down here on the futon, is this good Hajime-kun?
Hmm, a cold…when I have a cold, I think…
I can’t remember!? I used to take care of children in the past!
Nnnn! What happened durin’ that time!? I’m so upset my head’s gone completely blank! Hmm~ Remember~!
I can’t even remember the care that I gave/or was given!
I mean haven’t really caught much colds
Oshi-san used to take care of me, before/ or when I caught colds! Just, what is it!?
Mitsuru: Yes! Yes, Ye~s! I know many ways to catch a cold!
I’ve never caught a cold but I heard this from my friend, so it’s perfect info~
Hajime: What? Was it from Tomoya-kun? I know some of it.
Mitsuru: Tomo-chan said he learnt something from his senior, something like ‘Grandma’s special wisom’
Mika: Mitsuru-kun, really!? Can you tell me more about this special thing?
Mitsuru: Okay, well! First, put cabbage on your forehead, pickled plum on the temple, wrap green onion around your neck~ and it’ll seem to be okay~
Mika: Cabbage, pickled plum and green onion! Alright, got it!
Hajime: What!? Kagehira-senpai, please just wait a moment. It’s better not to do something like that.
Mika: It’s okay, Hajime-kun. You’re worried about whether you can collect some too, aren’t you?
But I need to give some power to Oshi-san! Leave it to me!
Hajime: Well no, I’m not worried about that-
Mitsuru: Mika-chan-senpai, you have to dash, dash~!
Mika: I’ll get it right away, Oshi-san and Mado-nee are waiting for me! I’ve got to dash, dash~!
Hajime: …Ah, Kagehira-senpai! Don't run away!
Mitsuru: It’s okay, Hajime-chan! I think Mika-chan-senpai will get everything right away!
Hajime: What? Hmm, that’s not what I’m really worried about. It’s..
Mika: Thank you for waiting! Oshi-san, Mado-nee!
Hajime: Eh, it’s so soon! Did you get it already!? Even if it’s for Itsuki-senpai it’s way too quick/fast!
Mitsuru: Early, so early! Mika-chan-senpai is amazing~ I wanna have a race! Do you wanna compete against me?
Mika: For the sake of Oshi-san, I exceed the speed of sound~
I just bought the ingredients from the garden terrace over there.
They were only flexible with it since I’ve got a ' part-time job at school.’
Today’s the day that I’m glad I have a lot of part-time jobs!
Mitsuru: What? That’s still too fast/early, so I was surprised~!
Mika: Time to let Oshi-san and Mado-nee get well soon.
Hajime: Wait a minute! Please wait, Kagehira-senpai…!
Mika: First, I apply the cabbage on your forehead…
Shu: ...That’s enough, you fool!
Hah…wow…There is no proof of credibility for doing what you were just about to do! It’s just an ugly thing..doing such a thing on me and Mademoiselle..just what are you thinking!
Hah…ha..h..originally I didn’t think it was clever at all, it’s stupid!..
Mika: Oshi-san, did you notice all this time! Oshi-san is back to normal too..!
I’m gonna do this special remedy from now on…I’m so glaaaaaddddd!
Shu: Wahh..wow..A while ago I noticed what you were talking about…I just didn’t have the energy to get up, so..
If I had just kept silent like that, me and Mademoiselle…were about to get ‘treated’, with all my power I managed to get up..
Mika: Ahahaha, what I did wasn’t ‘treatment' but …’a remedy’! The meanin’s are very different. Wow Oshi-san…..☆
Shu: Non! How can you think so positively! There’s not a brain floating in your head!
Hajime: Itsuki-senpai! Please, calm down. If you get so worked up you’ll get even more physically exhausted.
Shu: Cough, cough. Listen, Kagehira. I’ll tell you only one, listen to the others for now..
Such a terrible remedy/bad taste in my mouth…I and Mademoiselle..
I order you not to try such things again..
Mika: WaAAh!? Oshi-san collapsed again!! We needed an ambulance after all!

2×2 - Grown-Up Situation 3
Author: Akira
Characters: Yuuta, Hinata, Anzu
Translator: Mika Enstars
"Hey! Don’t grin while you listen to other people’s misfortunes, Yuuta-kun!"
[Read on my blog for the best viewing experience with Oi~ssu ♪]
Season: Winter
Location: Meeting Room
Another hour later, at the ES Building conference room…
Yuuta: S’cuse me~☆
Hello there, Anzu-san! It’s 2wink, known for being energetic and cheerful at all times!
Hinata: … …
Yuuta: Heheh, it’s been a while since we’ve had a work meeting like this with Anzu-san, huh?
With Chocolat Fes, it was a joint effort alongside other units—
I was even a little worried that Anzu-san would forget about us! Kidding~♪
Hinata: Why are you so excited, Yuuta-kun…?
Yuuta: More like, where is your excitement, Aniki?
Fu fu fu, it’s been a while since I’ve felt so cheery, though~. ‘Cuz this time, it’s not me who's in trouble, it’s Aniki!
I was getting tired of everyone always criticizing me, saying only I was the bad kid. This time, it’s my turn to be in the easy position of teasing an angry kid from the side.
Doing that is sooo much fun!
Hinata: Please don’t tease me, help me instead~… I still don’t know how I should be acting in front of Anzu-san.
Yuuta: I told you, she said she likes you, so tell her “I like you too, mwah!”—
Yuuta: —W-whoaah?
Um, Anzu-san? Why are you kowtowing…
It’s true that I want to make all of Yumenosaki’s seniors who pretend to be good guys with a kind face get on their knees and apologize, but…
On the other hand, it kinda pisses me off when those who’ve hurt me so much try to get me to apologize by playing the victim.
That’s not it? Though you’re concerned about that too, this is a different issue?
Hmmmm. So you’re also facing some trouble, huh, Anzu-san. …Aniki, why are you hiding behind me?
Hinata: I-I seriously feel so awkward! You understand, right Yuuta-kun…?
Yuuta: Not bad. Ahaha, it really is the opposite of usual now.
Anyways. What do you mean by facing some trouble, Anzu-san?
Those from ES are more-or-less all kind to you, always pampering you excessively, I doubt you’re getting bullied or anything, are you?
Even if that were the case, I don’t see the point of talking to us about it. Typically, you’d rely on someone better at solving problems, like Sakuma-senpai or Tenshouin-senpai, right?
Hinata: W-whatever it is, it’s fine, but can we let Anzu-san sit and talk like a normal person instead of kowtow like that forever? I can’t stand it!
Yuuta: Then how about I sit in a chair, and you sit on Anzu-san?
Hinata: L-Look, Anzu-san, this is awkward, so stand up… Nobody wants you to do anything like kowtow, okay?
Huh, you won’t raise your head until I forgive you? B-But I can’t forgive or not forgive you until I know what’s going on~!
Seriously, what’s going on, Anzu-san?
Explaining the situation…
Yuuta: Reallyyy? Hmmm, I see!
So basically, it looks like you might be kicked out of the P-Association?
Hinata: Hey! Don’t grin while you listen to other people’s misfortunes, Yuuta-kun!
Yuuta: But it has nothing to do with me…
Or, is that not the case?
It’s kind of strange, because it looks like we 2wink are at the center of the conversation.
The P-Association is known for its lack of functionality despite claiming to keep order throughout ES…
Hinata: I’m sorry. My younger brother has been oozing an increasing amount of poison lately…
Yuuta: —Anyways, so there’s a sort of factional quarrel going on in the P-Association, currently.
At SS, the largest festival in the idol industry, the P-Association showed its incompetence by getting hijacked by that Gatekeeper person.
All those responsibilities were piled onto Anzu-san while she was kidnapped and gone during the SS prelims.
Hinata: Oh, right. Taking advantage of the fact the person in question is not present to force them to take full responsibility.
Yuuta: ‘Course. Sagami-sensei and Kunugi-sensei, also members of P-Association, have been defending Anzu-san, but because of that the association has divided—
Hinata: There’s a fight between the faction that wants to disparage Anzu-san and the faction that wants to defend her.
Yuuta: What on earth are these grown-ass adults doing?
Hinata: They do say humans form cliques once there’s three people… And since ES is growing so rapidly, I bet there’s a huge demand for shares, and lots of competition for positions.
Yuuta: I hate it, disgusting. I hate talking about these things.
Hinata: But it’s also something we can’t ignore… I think it’s a completely false accusation to say that Anzu-san’s responsible for everything.
I know that Anzu-san’s neither incompetent nor a bad person, well, from what I know.
Although it’s not like that doesn’t mean that she hasn’t hurt anyone—
Yuuta: ‘Cuz pure goodness can still hurt others, can’t it? I know, I know, it’s because they don’t mean any harm that makes it so bad.

Idk... I think Mei is a double agent at this point. It looks like she helped the apprentices escape, she could’ve easily beaten the shit outta Fu and decided not to, on top of lying about blowing her away. Lest we forget, trying to sweeten up Tendou to get her to talk about Project Gekkako. This show is full of double meanings, subtleties and red herrings so idk what to think anymore.

so... that was definitely an ending. I can’t say I wasn’t surprised with how most of the things went down with Gekkako and the Tsukikage members surviving. Even though the show has morbid moments, I didn’t really anticipate there being a true red weddingesque type of ending. A couple of things noteworthy about this episode:
A good fight nonetheless, but kind of... eh. It gave me Assassination Classroom vibes when Nagisa pulled up on Takaoka on the rooftop. Under any other circumstances, it would be a compliment. But, we saw Nagisa improving constantly every episode, while the only other fight Momo had was at Okinawa during the viking episode. Definitely a stretch for Momo to take on Tendou, who bested Yuki and Nagano. But it set up Yuki’s retirement, so I’ll give them +1 for the transition.
Dammit, Yuki. You were my favorite. Her retirement was alluded to several times throughout the season, so I wasn’t surprised in that aspect. Deciding to have (most of) her memories erased from her Tsukikage time, I didn’t expect.
Tere-chan should definitely be dead. I’m okay with the fact that she lived, but it would’ve been nice to see the emotional aspect of Hatsume saving Theresia when she literally got her wrists slit open vertically with a sword. It also would’ve been nice to see her adapt to the Tsukikage atmosphere - even in this scene she’s skeptical and a bit uncomfortable because she doesn’t truly believe she deserves this occasion.
Season 1 was a solid 7/10 but the soundtrack carried the show tbh. There were a LOT of loose ends with this anime, so it opens up the possibility for a second season (even after a 9-month time skip). If it is renewed:
Will we ever get a further exploration into doubling down on spyce?
I’m pretty sure she said this to just get a reaction from Momo, but this line holds some weight to it.
It looks like Hatsume has also retired from the frontlines?
for the love of god please expand on these two characters
A platonic but seemingly-oblivious friendship between these two would be interesting.
