#sadly there aren't a lot of blogs or content this time of year

hello!! i love seeing your fatshion and fat art posts on my dash :]) they really brighten my day! how do you find these posts? I've gone back to the original source of them and they aren't often tagged with "plus size" or anything :o
Hi, I'm glad you enjoy the posts. I've created many strategies to find fat positive content on this website since, sadly, fat representation is very difficult to find.
The easiest strategy is to search popular fat positive tags, like "fatshion" or "fat positive." However, most people don't tag fat representation, and many fat-related tags are overrun by thinspo blogs, fat fetishists, and fatphobes.
Sometimes I search "plus size" and another word to try to find specific posts. For example, I queued posts with a Valentine's Day theme for Valentine's Day. One of the strategies I used for that was to search "plus size pink," "plus size red," "plus size lovecore," "plus size valentines day," etc. I have to get creative like this when trying to find content of specific groups of fat people. As another example, when I want to find content for fat Asian people, I may search "plus size hanfu," "plus size jfashion," "Vietnamese fatshion," and any combination of words involving fatness and usually either a specific cultural clothing or country. If I just use normal search terms, I likely won't find anything.
Sometimes I look at popular tags like "artists on tumblr" and scroll through hundreds of posts to find a single drawing of a fat person. Usually said drawing didn't use any tags for the fat representation. This strategy is extremely based on luck and will involve spending way more time before seeing any posts of fat people, but this is one of the few ways to find posts of fat representation that weren't tagged with words related to fatness. What I would give just to get people to tag their posts of fat representation, you have no idea. Even if no one else started drawing fat people, there would be a mountain of more fat positive posts to reblog if those posts were simply tagged in a way to make them possible for fat positive blogs to find.
Some tags are more likely to include fat people, like tags for Mermay. Fat people are barely represented, but some artists are willing to be slightly inclusive when drawing mermaids. The likelihood of size inclusivity also goes up with events like Mermay since some of the artists who participate will draw a different mermaid design for every day of the month. It's hard to not draw a single fat mermaid design when a person is drawing 31 mermaids.
When I find an old fat positive or fatshion blog, I'll usually comb through the entire blog for posts. Not only do I find posts that way, but I also usually find other blogs with posts I can also queue. This ends up with me going through a chain of old blogs and why you'll see us post content that was made anywhere from 5 to a whopping 12 years ago. I usually keep at least one post from each of these blogs in my queue at all times to remind me to continue searching the blogs for fat positive content. I've had some posts in the queue of Fatphobia Busters for two years because I keep them as reminders for what blogs I need to search. For every post we share, I try to thoroughly look through the blog of the op for any other scraps of fat positivity I can queue. This is another reason why some posts stay in the queue for months or years. Since fat representation on this website is abysmal, I usually only put posts at the front of the queue that were either made by blogs I've already combed, blogs that still have posts in the queue so I can search those blogs a different day, or if the post was queued by Mod Squirrel. I don't have a lot of energy to search blogs, which is why those posts stay in the queue for so long. That's also why you may notice certain blogs being posted a lot for a period of time—they're blogs I'm safe to post without missing any content I could have queued.
Tumblr has a pretty terrible search function, and I've basically never been recommended a blog by Tumblr that actually posted fat representation. However, the one helpful function Tumblr has actually been good at is the similar posts section called "More like this," which looks like this on desktop:
Tumblr media
It's to the right of whatever post you look at on a blog. On mobile, it looks like this:
Tumblr media
I looked at the same post for both of these screenshots. In the "More like this" (or "More posts like this") section, Tumblr will usually include other posts by the user, posts by other blogs who interact with the user, posts with similar tags, etc. etc. For whatever reason, I'll sometimes be able to use this Tumblr function to find more fat representation. As an example, Tumblr showed me the same grayscale drawing of a fat person in both of these screenshots. That drawing was posted by an entirely different blog and with no tags related to fatness or fat positivity at all, but the "More like this" Tumblr function is the only time that Tumblr realizes "Oh, for the past five years of running and modding for fat positive blogs, you've actually wanted to see posts of fat people and not all of the posts of thin people I've suggested to you all this time?"
Sometimes I'll try my luck with certain fandoms when I know the media the fandom is for actually has a fat character or if I know that the fandom is somewhat size inclusive. There are times where an artist who draws the media's fat character also has fat OCs or draws other fat people. For instance, I'll probably have more luck finding artists who draw fat people in the Magnus Archives fandom than I will in a fandom for a media that's very fatphobic or pretends thinness is an art style, like Hazbin Hotel.
If I find a fat person who posts selfies or photography of themself, I'll look at their tags to try to decipher what tags they use for posting those photos. They may have a specific tag just for their photos, like "my face," or they may tag all of their photos with a tag like "ootd," "melanin," "cosplay," "black girl magic," "lolita," "jfashion," etc. It's also important to make sure not to share any posts that have tags like "do not reblog." If a post has the tag "personal," I'll usually either skip it or ask the user if they're okay with the post being reblogged. This is especially important for text posts about fatphobia since sometimes a person just wanted to vent and doesn't want their post to be shared. Whenever I'm in doubt, I write a reply on the post and ask the op if they're okay with me reblogging it.
On some occasions, I'll see the url or tags of someone on our posts that makes me think they may have more fat positive content. When that is the case, I'll queue posts that a follower made. Said posts are usually selfies or text posts. Sometimes this means queuing a post they made about a specific product they sell on Etsy that otherwise isn't accessible for fat people, or this could mean queueing a well-written rant that they've okayed for people to reblog.
That's basically the gist of most of my strategies I can think of. You can see that running and modding for fat positive blogs involves a lot of work and strategizing just to find content. But you can help make it easier. If you:
Tag your posts of fat representation with fat positive tags
Send posts you find of fat people to fat positive blogs
Tell artists who draw fat people to tag their art with fat positive tags
Ask artists who only draw thin people to make their art size inclusive
Make posts about fatphobia and tag those posts with tags like "fatphobia" to make them searchable
Or even just reblog posts from fat positive blogs to help spread them and encourage those OPs to keep representing fat people
By doing those things, you help us a lot and also help more fat people see themselves in the media they look at.
If you do tag your posts for this purpose, I strongly suggest using more than just tags like "body positivity." That tag on Tumblr is full of mostly porn, thin people, and celebrations of weight loss, so I've given up on looking at that tag at all and would assume many other fat positive blogs don't use that tag either.

Hi Sam! I was wondering if I could ask for some advice on how to make simblr fun again? I love storytelling (it's how I have fun with the game) but lately with writing posts and even in game, I just find myself stressing over if it's good/interesting enough or if I took good screenshots, if my writing is good, etc. I love this game and sharing my stories with this community, so it sucks to feel like this. Thank you sm ♥
Oh Nonny, how I feel this pain. I wish I had a sure fire answer to this but sadly there isn't just one thing that will work.
I will put some advice below for some things that have worked for me in my experience if you're interested in trying them out to try to find that spark again!
Now I have been on tumblr sharing my sims since 2013 so I have seen the community change a lot. Things change, people come and go, it's just the natural way of things. So a lot of the time your community can change around you and so a few years ago sims storytelling was really popular and it was the thing everyone was doing. And I mean everyone.
But now things have sort of fallen off or shifted and there is no shame in that for those who moved onto other things and hobbies. Sims storytelling, at it's core, is a hobby. No one is making money off of it (unless you write it all down and get it published in which case, hell yeah go you!)
That being said, finding your spark again is going to be finding what YOU like about storytelling in the sims.
So here are some tips you can try out in the game to keep it fresh and exciting:
Play the Game
The game has changed a lot and added a lot. It came out in 2014. It's about to be 10 years old. With expansions still being added. Honestly having a family where you can just play through what the game offers you can offer inspiration on how to use in game things for story related things later on.
I have found having a lowkey gameplay (for yourself or even for your blog if you are posting) is an easy way to stay active in the community while keeping things low stakes and casual for yourself while you work on finding your spark again.
Change Up your Post Style
Idk about you Nonny, but nothing gets me less motivated than having to edit photos. If I could just point, shoot, and post, I would have content coming out my ears. Which is what I started doing with my Princess Legacy. All I do is crop it. I add some things here and there but really it's all pretty much easy.
Now I have done it all.
Prose on photos.
Tumblr media
Prose under photos:
Tumblr media
Icons Only:
Tumblr media
Gameplay Only:
Tumblr media
And finally just cropped:
Tumblr media
Now what is the best? That is personal preference especially for the project you are doing. However I have definitely discovered the crop method to be SUPER helpful.
It makes me not have to worry about the whole photo. Sometimes I have this SUPER awesome detail in the back of a photo but when I crop them I lose all that. Which is not good for storytelling lets be honest but does force me to focus on what is actually important in the shot.
Example: Here is the full cottage photo from above You can see that I cropped out a lot of the cottage in favor of being able to see the deer and swans as i thought that was more a cozy fairytale vibe than just the cottage itself. I lost a lot of this detail yet the point still came across.
Tumblr media
TBH the paired crop photos also makes me cut out a lot of access photos if they don't have a pair. It's sort of made me realize how much I don't need to take screenshots of. Though I am definitely an overtaker of photos so I always have plenty to choose from. Sometimes I even queue them then look back and realize they aren't needed and delete. It's humbled me a bit.
I could break down every one of these posting styles but that's a whole other thing you didn't ask about.
TLDR of this section is to experiment with how you post. You can have a lot of fun with that.
If Something is Boring, Skip it.
Do you hate the infant stage? Age them past it. Do you hate the winter months in game? Set seasons to never have winter. Do you hate in game holidays ruining your plans? Delete them all from your calendar. Is it a crucial part to your story? Not anymore. Write around it. Or find some creative angles and dialogue to write over it.
Make the game fit you!
Follow the Inspo
Have inspiration to make a new sim in CAS? Do it! Want to make a whole new save? Have an idea for one scene that could start a whole story but you have nothing else for it? DO IT!!!
The game is supposed to be fun. If you have inspiration for a project, live in it. Have fun with it.
But Sam, what if only lasts 2 weeks and I never touch it again?
Me too, babes. Happens to me all the time. Own it. Keep it around in case you want to mess with it later. Have 10 million saves. It's your life and if it brings you a moment of joy to work on it, then it totally is worth it.
If you want to be like me: Be chaotic and post it too. Then private the posts later when you decide to never touch it again. Never delete tho. I always tend to regret deleted things.
Find Your Community
You should ultimately write and create for yourself, but find others who are doing it too! Lift them up as well! Use one day a week on your blog to give reblogs or shoutouts to your fellow creators and writers! It's all about lifting each other up and making friends who all have the same hobby as us.
Try New Challenges
A lot of my sims storytelling started from inspiration around legacy challenges. I loved to take challenge rules and figure out how to make a story around them. But remember: Rules are made to be broken. Especially in favor of a good story.
If you are working on a current challenge/story, find another to merge with it or to give yourself a heck of a fun plot twist. There are no rules!
Have Fun!
This is sort of the whole crux of it, right? And if you're not having fun then...
Take a Break
You are not beholden to your queue! Let it die out! Disappear for 6 months. Return when you want. Go play Animal Crossing or BG3 or whatever it is at the moment. Sims is a hobby. But it does not have to be your ONLY hobby. Let your brain rest.
In my case, whenever I leave the sims I am always filled with ideas and ready to come back in like 3 days.
This could also mean take a break from your save too. Maybe spend some time in CAS. Or in build mode. Or cleaning out your mods. You can still do sims things while letting your story brain rest.
TLDR:
There is no right answer for this, Nonny. I promise your photos are all gorgeous and your story is wonderful! But creativity like anything ebbs and flows so give yourself that grace to let yourself rest and just enjoy the game again, or enjoy time away from it! You deserve it you superstar creator!

Do you have any recommendations or suggestions for blogs that do anything close to what you do for other fandoms or ships? (I’ve got a desperate need to find a good omens fic from a few years ago and nothing but a vague recollection of some specific internal monologue)
Also thanks for what you do! I haven’t read johnlock fic in ages but I appreciated the amazing resource you provide when I did, and I still enjoy following you as a reminder of how passionate people can be about the things they love.
Hey Lovely!
Ahh, sadly, none that I recall? I think someone suggested someone for... Supernatural I think? once, but I'm not finding the ask... I'm SURE I'm not the only hyperfixated, obsessively-organized, fic reccer around, am I???
I wasn't aware that there WAS a gap in the GO fandom, honestly... 🤔
LOL Seriously though, I don't read enough GO fanfics to even COMPARE to the collection I have for Johnlock (over 1500 which includes the FFnet fics, though the FFNet fics aren't filed), but maybe I'll start sorting the GO ones I do have too, in case someone ever asks me over on the other blog, LOL. This blog is a full-time job as it is, so I sadly can't do both at the same frequency, LOL. I love it here a lot, so it'll be awhile yet. I'm not reading as much Johnlock (or anything really) these days either, so I worry people will inevitably get bored of being here. I've already been told my lists are repetitive and boring, so I dunno, maybe I'm just getting discouraged.
ANYWAY THAT ALL SAID! I am HUMBLED and honoured that you still follow me even though my content isn't what you're into anymore <3 I won't be offended if you need to unfollow, though it means the world to me that you let me know that you still enjoy your time here. Thank you SO MUCH for your kind words.

hello! i hope you don't mind the question, but i haven't been around the pmmm roleplay community for years so i was wondering, what's it like these days? i love your homura btw
Tumblr media
unprompted / always accepting!
Tumblr media
Hello there, dear anon!
How are you? I hope your day is going well. I have always stated that I am always willing to answer questions, including questions from lovely anons. As anyone who takes a peek at my blog can tell... I love to answer all sorts of questions about the pmmm franchise. I have a soft spot for answering Homura-related questions since she is my only muse, but I'm always willing to answer questions about the whole franchise. pmmm tackles dark themes, but it is very special to me.
Let me be the first to welcome you back to the pmmm community, by the way! Or at least I hope you are returning. I really hope you do come back, even though I have no clue who you are.
I am always looking for pmmm muses since it is such a small franchise compared to, like, everywhere else. I have seen even smaller fandoms, but... Like Princess Tutu, for example. That franchise deserves one of the biggest revivals of all time. The lack of merchandise is so disheartening to see. Not only that, but seeing a fandom that you really love just quietly die is... really hard. Even if you aren't roleplaying, it is really hard. The benefit of a dying or dead fandom is that it makes seeing a fellow fan shine a lot brighter!!! At least in my opinion, anyway.
I'm beginning to ramble, so...
Allow me to get to the point—
This community still feels tiny.
With the hype of the upcoming movie finally being given to the fans, the non-roleplay community is thriving. All we had for years is the brilliant Concept Movie before the hopes of a sequel went silent. As you may or may not know, the Concept Movie trailer holds a special spot in my heart. I am still analyzing for my own pleasure while also incorporating it into my blog. Promotional stuff in the franchise has always been happening, but we have waited a LONG time for more news on the sequel to Rebellion. A lot of us have lost hope. I have seen some non-roleplay blogs leave the franchise because they couldn't handle waiting for any newer content. It breaks my heart, but I can understand why someone might lose interest in a franchise.
The pmmm rp community should have seen the rise of more blogs with the introduction of Magia Record, the spin-off mobile game. Never in my wildest dreams have I thought that the pmmm franchise would receive a gacha-related game, but I was extremely excited!!! You can bet that I was there when Magia Record finally came to the US servers. The style of the game was easy on my old phone, so I went downright crazy for the game... I did every event, read everything I could get my hands on, and I had even spent money on the game.
For a little bit, the Magia Record game did make some new rp blogs pop up. The doors for more interaction were expanded, thanks to the help of the gacha elements. There are so many characters, so I will just drop the list of all the characters in a link right here for your reading pleasure.
Sadly, Magia Record came to an abrupt end when the English server dropped the End of Service announcement. Honestly, I'm not sure why they decided to cut the app's lifeline. It was a crushing defeat for all the English fans of the game. I know I was heartbroken because I felt so happy and safe and inspired by the game's existence. As someone who hasn't gotten the chance to play any other pmmm game, Magia Record was my dream app.
Fans of the game outside of the rp community, stubborn and refusing to accept defeat, began to migrate to the Japanese server. With the help of the non-rp fans, the Magia Record game was still preserved. Fans went as far as translating the game or making blogs dedicated to preserving everything the game has to offer, even though they had to make Japanese accounts.
The loss of the Magia Record game for the English-speaking side, I fear, eliminated the chance of more pmmm blogs from popping up. I can still point you to the blogs that have muses beyond the Holy Quintet. These blogs are still going strong, which makes me quite happy.
The Japanese server kept going on very strongly, by the way. It was active, growing, and introducing so many new stories and characters. The game, in Japan, has managed to stay alive for YEARS now... It is only recently that the Magia Record game in Japan has announced that it will be ending the app in July of this year. It is sad to see that Magia Record will be closing its doors in Japan, but I am happy that the game has lived a lot longer than the English app.
Fear not, however. The end of service announcement for the Japanese server has revealed that a new game is in the works. It is called Magia Exedra. While it is unknown if this new game will ever reach beyond Japan is up for debate... But if you are interested in hearing more about it, then I will drop this link for you and anyone else who is reading this messy post.
The end of the Magia Record app in its birthplace of Japan may have finally reached its end, but there is always hope for this franchise. With that said, Magia Record was still popular enough to make a big splash in the anime community and the manga community respectively. I highly suggest that you check out the anime and manga as well as anything from the game, by the way. One thing to note is that the anime's ending and the game's ending are very different. The anime did well in plenty of aspects, but it tackled a really big task since it was trying to bring a gacha game to life. As you can imagine, turning a gacha game into a faithful anime is... Well, it is really hard.
Personally, I believe that the game and the anime have their separate advantages. The introduction of Magia Record did make an impact on the rp side. In fact, it makes me adore each and every pmmm rp blog that I see. I adore the original gang, but I always get excited when I see spin-off muses from the rest of the pmmm franchise just magically show up. Heck, the presence of the spin-off pmmm muses is what helps encourage pmmm original characters to show up.
I'm always in search to convert other muses to try to sink themselves into a pmmm verse. It doesn't matter what fandom you are from or if your muse is an original character to me. I feel like everyone should be welcomed into the pmmm fandom. as a matter of fact, the pmmm fandom has to be the most diverse communities to join. Honestly, I believe that the pmmm verse would be unstoppable if they allowed non-females to suffer form contracts. Sure, it will be chaotic... But it will be really fun! Won't that be nice to see? I know a small handful of non-female muses that have pmmm verses... and I will ALWAYS treasure them. They broke the norms of the pmmm franchise, which is so cool to see. (Note: I would most likely try to get them to make all their muses have a pmmm verse. With love and plenty of excitement, of course. If I haven't done so yet, look out!!!)
It might be hard to tackle making a pmmm verse from scratch since there is a lot of details to focus on, but the best part about that challenge is how you can easily incorporate your canon stuff into the pmmm verse. Once you get everything finished? Your pmmm verse will shine!!! (If anyone is need of help for their verse, please send me an a message or an ask. I am always looking forward to helping people, even if it doesn't relate to pmmm at all!)
Tumblr media
Anyway, thank you for sticking with me until now. I apologize for rambling, by the way. Let me get back to your ask, anon. (Honestly, you deserve an award for getting this far. I'm serious. Everyone deserves an award!)
The rp community for the pmmm franchise is tiny, but it feels close and safe. I have not seen any bad stuff happening in this community, so I believe you have nothing to fear when coming to the fandom. There are dead blogs across the franchise, but please don't let that stop you!!!
Looking for pmmm rp blogs will most likely be hard to do. I'll admit that, haha. It feels like a lot of multi-muse blogs are more likely to have a pmmm muse, maybe even a muse with a pmmm verse. The rp blogs that do focus on pmmm in any shape or way are always worthy of checking out. From what I've noticed over the years, the pmmm franchise sticks together through thick and thin.
With the release of the new movie comes the promise that the franchise will experience a revival. Walpurgisnacht Rising is said to be the beginning of a new chapter, both in the trailer. I think the creator also confirmed this fact, but I can't find the source for that at the moment. With this little crumb of information, it is very likely that Walpurgisnacht Rising will not be the end of the pmmm franchise. I believe that the pmmm franchise will be explored past Walpurgisnacht Rising's release. I don't know how, but I have a strong belief that pmmm will not end that easily.
The release of the upcoming movie (and perhaps that new game) will hopefully help the pmmm rp community to grow. Whether it rapidly grows or continues to quietly exist... I will always be here with Homura. She means sooo much to me.
I don't know how long you have following my journey with Homura, but... Anon, thank you for your kind words! I'm hoping that my portrayal will continue to be an enjoyment for you! My inbox is always open for future questions, no matter what!
Please, please let me know if you do come back. Even if you don't come back, I hope that you enjoy your time here on my blog! Stay safe and cozy!
Sending lots of love, Lia. ♥

good blogs to follow for politics stuff?
I can't in good conscience give a recommendation without first telling you to try going outside (or failing that, trying video games) instead of developing an interest in politics.
This isn't total do-as-I-say-not-as-I-do because I used to be way, way more politically-engaged and can't say I got too much for it. The combination of circumstances that led me out of that darkness probably aren't easy to recreate, though I can say that reading The Sequences went a long way to helping me see through the fog of tribalism. More actionably, I basically quit Twiblr for a few months earlier this year because I was too busy bingeing fantasy novels and playing Civ VI. (Having good coworkers and meatspace friends probably helped.)
The best stuff probably isn't on Tumblr. If you want blogs, I recommend Scott Alexander's substack and the archives of his old blog, and usually appreciate the posts I read from Noah Smith and Matt Yglesias, though I wouldn't describe myself as a regular reader of either. Sadly, most of the Neoliberal Project crowd seems stuck on TwXitter, and I'm not going to tell you to spend time on a website where you gotta pay to longpost. A few notable blogs (which I don't read) from that cluster include Some Unpleasant Arithmetic and Word Rotator.
Tumblr is superior among the socials for enabling actually meaningful discussions. Often the best stuff comes from people you wouldn't expect. Posts are usually better than the blogs that produce them. I try to collect good posts more than I try to follow good blogs, because actually good blogs are few and far between.
If you must have recommendations of Tumblr blogs, though, a few accounts which are more likely to produce or surface good political, economic, and meta-political content while not spewing total garbage constantly or posting lots of non-politics content include: @centrally-unplanned @eightyonekilograms @iates @isaacsapphire @marginal-cost and @powermonger. Any omissions naturally represent direct personal insults and I expect all of you to name your seconds before the week is out.
In all seriousness, I do not necessarily endorse any particular view the above take (and in fact do not even follow several of them) so much as appreciate their commentary on particular subjects. You can, of course, follow @argumate to be exposed to more discourse bloggers than you could possibly ask for and sort at your own leisure. Due to his continued efforts many old posts from good bloggers no longer active still circulate; many of my favorite bloggers fall into that category, which I have not included. I will make an unprincipled exception to point out that @theunitofcaring wrote some excellent posts before getting a real job.
You'll notice I'm recommending a lot of people from the Less Wrong diaspora. That's because talking about politics with people who haven't read Politics is the Mind-killer, Meditations on Moloch, and I Can Tolerate Anything Except The Outgroup is generally a waste of time. You'll get so much mileage and insight out of Yudkowsky and Alexander's top posts that it's hard to put into words.
That's a long answer to a short question. Hope it helps.

Hello Tumblr!
Firstly, I haven't had a social media account before except on YouTube, so I hope I don't sound like a dork here.
I am a 18-year old English male who had my trad desires awakened by Tumblr, specifically @homeiswherethewitchcraftis, @barefoot-a-pregnant and the sadly now deactivated @unsweetenedlemon. This is the culmination of a long and winded journey into rejecting feminism (the modern variety, not "women should vote and get paid equally") that included the music of Heather Dale and Mercedes Lackey, "The Dangerous Book For Boys", and a religious experience last summer that changed my life.
I have decided to open up a trad masculinity blog (or whatever they're called here; I'm pretty new to Tumblr) with frequent divergences into Christianity because:
There aren't enough of them.
Pretty much all that there are have pornographic, fetishistic or outright misogynist content - not good for training to be a true traditional man.
I will say a few things before I finish:
Christianity is a major part of me and my tradness, so I will be talking about it a lot, but people of all and no religions are more than welcome to follow, repost, read and so on. Just look at the neopagans who brought me here. However, if you have some kind of vendetta towards Christianity, Christians, the Bible, religion in general or some combination of the above, leave it at the door or go elsewhere.
In case this needs to be said, I do not endorse everything on every blog I repost from.
Leave arguing at the door. We're here to be better people, not to bicker and quarrel.
Please, no swears or slurs. And use the best grammar and spelling you can.
While the name is a play on the official name of the Mormons (Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints), I am not a Mormon but an Eastern Orthodox catechumen. But Mormons, like all other people (with an exception outlined below), are more than welcome to note, reblog and comment on my posts and follow me.
I will tolerate kink blogs reposting and noting my stuff; by people looking for the original blog, they may find (as I did) that tradness is a perfectly adequate substitute for kink, or at least find a way out of viewing porn. But please, do not follow me if you are a kink blog or are "mature content". I will block any who attempt to do so. No exceptions. And if your blog has stuff like "women are property" or "domestic violence is okay", I will block you the instant I find out.
I think that's all, so hello Tumblr and especially Tradblr, and I hope to have a good time!
All glory be to Christ.
Edit: from 19th August 2023 onwards I have a long-distance trad girlfriend in @beholdthehandmaidenofthelord; in fact, I suggested the username. I praise the Lord for this opportunity and blessing.

So it's been almost a year
Since tumblr wiped my old blog and I rebooted this one along with the Patreon campaign.
I've been struggling since then to get people more involved and get some more interaction and dialogue going, and I still can't figure out what to do.
It used to be there was a lot more people commenting, engaging, interacting, all that sort of thing. Was it because the original blog had more followers? Is it because due to the arbitrary rule enforcement people are scared to interact too much with adult content blogs? Is it just that most of the people who would, have since moved on and left the site due to the bullshit going on?
I don't know =/
I want to keep doing this, both because I enjoy it (most of the time) and because I need the money (all of the time), but sometimes it really feels like shouting into the void. I know at least a few people enjoy my work, as there are those loyal patreons who keep me in money for video games, but I'm not sure how to try to grow past that.
So I ask you people out there. What would you like to see?
What would get you interested enough to sign up for the Patreon?
What kind of content would you like to see?
Any cool ideas for things you're bouncing around in your head that you aren't able to put together yourself that you want to share?
Last year I made an attempt at a "real" blog, and had someone on board to hypnotize me regularly while I write, and we could play some games with reader interactions, triggers, and post hypnotic suggestions but sadly I lost my partner for the project and it fell apart. Should I put more energy into finding a new one? Is that (or something like that) something people want to see and would be willing to sign up for the Patreon for?
Help a starving artist out ;)
(Not actually starving, but it would be nice to get some new clothes and fix the hole in my floor)

hello mr rainbowsky!
i'm still a fairly new turtle and have been trying to absorb every bit of information i can about the boys, and your blog has been incredibly informative! i've perused your index pages multiple times, thank you so much for cataloguing everything so neatly 🙏
i would like to ask if you have any updated recommendations for tumblr blogs, youtube channels, twitter accounts, etc. sadly it seems that many accounts have been inactive for years, and even though they are still accessible and have a lot of valuable information, i'd love to find more resources that post about current events.
much appreciation if you answer this, but no worries if you don't. hope you have a lovely rest of the week! 🥰
Hi new turtle! 💛🐢💛
Thanks for your kind words, I'm glad you're enjoying my blog!
I know it might be unsatisfying to hear, but those are my recommendation lists. I just completed a review of each one and updated them (aka removed some dead accounts), so they've only gotten smaller! 😅
I do still spend time on other platforms and I'm always seeking out good, reliable sources of information or interesting content that doesn't mislead or distort things for BXG. When I find them I always add them to my list. If there are not a lot of options on my list, it's simply because there aren't many accounts that I feel confident recommending - particularly on Twitter and YouTube.
If it's not on my list, I don't endorse it. That doesn't mean I have anything against it, it's just not something I endorse.
I know it can be difficult out there in the wilds, where it seems like there are 50 misleading accounts for every reliable one. If anyone comes across an account that they're unsure of and they really want some advice on it, they can feel free to message me privately and I will give you my opinion on whether I feel it's reliable.
Tumblr is a bit different, because my recommendations here are focused on people who do the same sort of lengthy analysis and discussion that I enjoy. There are other Tumblr bloggers I love and support - some truly great people here - but my recommendations are focused on original content that a reader interested in the types of things I blog about is likely to also enjoy.
If the list keeps shrinking it's just because there seem to be fewer people doing that kind of thing these days. I think a lot of people have migrated to fast-paced discussion platforms like Facebook and Discord, which I'm not active on (those platforms aren't conducive to the kind of in-depth discussion and analysis I'm interested in).
Hope this helps, Anon!

sol lucet omnibus ; the sun shines for all.
# HIOKU ﹕ a private, selective, and headcanon based rendition of  hinata shouyou from  haruichi furudate's HAIKYUU !! established in two thousand and fifteen (re-est. 2024) and penned with care by  rocket (she/her, 27). content warnings apply, no minors allowed.

AND SO I ASK MYSELF ﹕ ❝ where are your dreams ? ’ and i shake my head and mutter﹕ ❝ how the years go by ! ’ and i ask myself again﹕ ❝ WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH THOSE YEARS ? where have you buried your best moments ? have you really lived ? ’
i. basic role-playing etiquette is required.  any behaviours considered  homophobic, transphobic, racist, pedophilic, incestuous  or otherwise intolerable will not be indulged. additionally, this blog is  not  pro-ship or minor friendly.
please note that  interactions will be almost entirely plot-based or ask-meme driven  ('plot-based' is used loosely here, as i am super chill with being slapped with the semblance of an idea and winging the rest.)  starter calls may be posted on occasion, but rarely.
that said,  i am still entirely open (read: i love shipping) to exploring relationship dynamics  so long as they are spoken about extensively, or happen organically.
ii. i tend to lean toward  para responses  and will generally strive to supply you with at least a  small handful of paragraphs to work with  in your replies. of course, you're not required to match whatever length i come up with and i encourage you to just do what you can to have fun lmfao.
i typically format my posts with small text and occasionally icons!  you aren't required to match my formatting.  do what feels comfortable for you - if the way i format makes my replies less accessible to you,  please tell me.  i will adjust to suit your needs.
basic triggers and phobias will be tagged accordingly.  if there’s something i haven’t tagged, please tell me and i will be more than happy to fix it for you! tag format for triggers will be written as ‘x/’ and ‘tw x/’
example: trigger/ and tw trigger/
iii. i have never practiced  exclusive writing partners  when it comes to particular muses. everyone characterizes and writes differently, and i am a little bit loathe to cut myself off from any potential opportunities.  that being said, i am not against the idea and only wish that this be discussed heavily beforehand.  mains are a concept i am more familiar and welcoming of,  however, and will gladly prioritize these connections where i find them.
i am not one to dabble in drama, as roleplaying is a hobby and i'd rather keep my experience as peaceful and enjoyable as possible. however,  i understand some callouts are necessary and will do my part in ensuring light is shed on otherwise dangerous or harmful individuals.
if there comes a time that you wish to unfollow and we have maintained a mutualship,  please hardblock.  i won't ask questions. i just want to avoid the awkwardness in an accidental refollow should i have forgotten you softblocked!!
iv. hey!  thanks for reading so far. my name is rocket.  i'm twenty-seven, i live in canada, and i work a 40+ hours full time job. roleplaying is one amongst many other hobbies i am trying to maintain,  so please forgive any frequent or extended absences.  i will most likely (usually, sadly) always come back.
i tend to post a lot of ooc frequently and in rapid succession,  but these posts are all tagged and deleted just as quickly.  i take great care in the responses i craft for you, nor do i feel like rushing myself just in the name of in-character activity. if this is not the type of style you wish to see on the dashboard, that's okay!  no hard feelings.
i appreciate your time and care in understanding and respecting my rules of conduct going forward.
my discord is available to mutuals upon request and i am always happy to chat and make friends!  yay

In Memoriam of Social Media
Tumblr media
Social media is dead. At least in the way we used to know it. Social media used to be an exciting idea. Using the internet to easily and conveniently connect with other people around the world. Keeping in touch with family. Sharing with friends. Meeting entirely new people. A brand new way to connect online beyond the forums and instant messaging chatrooms of old. And we quickly saw a social media boom of platforms throwing their hat in the ring with their own spin on the concept. MySpace. Facebook. Instagram. Twitter. YouTube. Twitch. Reddit. Vine. And many more! Of course, we're on Tumblr right now, aren't we? And each one had a bit of its own identity. Photos. Videos. Streaming. Blogging. Chatting. You picked your platform based on what you wanted to do and/or see. If only we knew how good we had it.
Soon these platforms began to become so successful that making an appealing space for its users fell into a lower priority. The new bottom line? Profit. Your average user isn't exactly looking for ads, subscriptions, premium features locked behind paywalls, and overall site construction that is built to promote the largest money-makers over functionality and the content we signed up to see. Sadly, it has only gotten worse with the way users have adopted the new business-like view of running their pages as well.
These days you'll be fighting ever-changing algorithms simple to be seen by other human beings just looking to connect. When you DO get seen or see something you like, it's most likely that you'll be engaging with influencers that are more concerned about their analytics than a real conversation. I understand you can't respond to 100 comments in full conversations daily, but when it's so hard to find another genuine person on such large platforms... it's a problem. It has become parasocial media at best and anti-social media at worst.
To make matters even more grim, it seems like there's not much in the realm of alternatives. As the big names lose their identity by combining text, photos, videos, messaging, and streaming all into every single platform, the more specialized competition is too small to pick up the slack yet. You can't go to an alternative and expect anywhere near the level of users to interact with. There's just no room for them. The most positive I can be about this situation is to say... pick your poison.
If you're trying to grow, make money, get famous, promote... then you're pretty stuck with the biggest platforms, for better and for worse. In sickness and in wealth. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em. BUT there IS another way.
Find those smaller, niche platforms that suit you and your interests. Give them a chance. Find your flavor of social media that's more than just a reskin of the old giants. Sure, you'll see a lot of the same faces around a lot. The numbers will probably never be amazing at least for years to come. I don't think we'll have a golden age of social media again at this point. But you CAN have a great time just going back to talking with real people. No ads or algorithms or influencer bullshit. Just genuine connections with people online. For a lot of people, including myself, that's all we really want. Those places exist. It's possible. You just have to look a little to find them.
Feel free to comment or message me if you have lesser-known platform suggestions for people to check out. Personally I've been using FUZE a lot for gaming content. Or if you just want to talk on here, that's cool too.

Tumblr's culture on blocking is a little weird to me still. Blocking is a forever ban on interaction so I don't use it for just anyone.
There are a few posters on this website that are kinda aggro and tend to annoy me, they just get the content mute warning so I can see it if it's a post a mutual agreed with. Because yeah some people have good original idea posts but also reply to everyone like a once beaten cornered dog. Trauma makes us all defensive.
There are a bunch of kinks like forcefem or aesthetics like nymphette or thinspo that are a little squicky: that's content mute not block. You never know, they might also like dolls and film reviews.
So the actual blocklist is half rednames, half people who use the doll tag for ddlg cnc/hypno because that crosses beyond personal squick and into what's currently known as consensual non consent but isn't being practiced with the careful scripting and boundaries of BDSM (let alone any concern about tagging it so us non consenters to cnc can mute it).
A final 1% of right wingers who hate anyone not like them - you really wonder what they're doing on tumblr aside from getting angry at everything they see!
-------
I used to have a fairly strict policy about blocking antisemitism but had to drop that last November in favour of content muting all Palestinian genocide content. (aswell as moving any actions offline and getting news from objective news sites - sadly the guardian is still fencesitting).
After getting into an argument about antisemitism a few years ago, I kept a grudge... With myself. And have spent the time since educating myself on the subtler forms and regional variations. As you can guess, it's been a trip since October, really tough seeing nasty habits form in people I respected. Some of them don't know how to be normal about muslims either so that's going to be interesting if they ever do venture into a real life protest.
------
Anti-pro-ship stuff gets content muted because it seems like a lot of intense drama. My belief for art is Lolita can't be banned for tweens, i'd only read a small amount (while bored at someone's house visiting with my parents), and while it was horrifying, it helped me identify that I was in danger from an adult later. My parents had given me the full biology lessons and never broached consent beyond 'people can't touch or see your privates unless you say yes' and not adults you trust getting a little too affectionate.
I don't mind pros, antis or anti-antis engaging with my blog so no reason to block. Unless they do callouts based on really tenuous guilt by association that's just gossip mongering and bullying tbh.
-------
So I think I'm blocked by at least 3 dollblr folks and part of me wonders if I've accidentally said something racist or otherwise bigoted or maybe thoughtless. Maybe they just don't like my dollblr posts, they aren't exactly polished and used to mix doll stuff with tv and personal stuff. Wish blocks came with a reason.
You folks would let me know if I've messed up right?

So, apparently I don't know what to do with social media platforms anymore.
Because of my new workshop and complicated things going around it, I am in the need to use content to build more presence online.
It's an online workshop and most of the audience of the place I work in doesn't prefer that format, so I have to look elsewhere to introduce it to new audiences that may be interested or may prefer doing something like this without a schedule and at home.
I have no problem creating content for free, I've done it always and probably will always do it, and I have a lot of ideas and things I'd like to do that I'd enjoy creating to try and build a space for my work. I'm not opposed to creating content and using it for synergy, without monetary compensation coming from it.
The thing is...I don't know where.
I'm currently using Instagram because it's what most of the people in the circle I work in are using. The account has grown in the past month and a half, more than I expected (even if the numbers aren't big by influencer standards) but I feel that the platform is too small for anything that isn't ephemeral and superficial.
There's not much room for content that isn't bite-sized and once it's out, it's shelf life is practically immediate.
I don't mind putting out content and not seeing it immediately do anything, I've been on tumblr and fanfiction platforms for a while, but in spaces like Instagram or TikTok the lifespan of content is minimal and old stuff rarely if ever has a chance to be revisited.
That leaves spaces for essay-type content, or content that is longer or more complex.
The thing is that, over the past 10 years, everything written has become a lot less preferred over video or podcast.
Places like Medium are normally reserved for articles you are looking for, blogs tend to be mostly for instructional things, and tumblr isn't a work-safe environment, and has become too insular for outside people to understand.
Spaces like Reddit or Discord are closed or closed-ish groups that are more on the "conversational pit" type of community than the personal platform system, and have an entirely different vibe.
Sadly for me, unless you're already known and have your own platform to write in, or write columns in a magazine, most of the essay-like content, or anything similar, has moved to a preference of video or audio, these days.
But the threshold to even enter spaces like youtube or podcasting platforms, these days, it too high. People nowadays have a very high standard of quality.
It is very rare for one single person to do it all and, if they do, it takes a very long time and a lot of investment, which I know, because my workshop is all in video format and it took me a long time to complete, and I've been panelist in a couple of podcasts in my youth. It's a full time gig to be a youtuber or a podcaster, unless you have a lot of energy and money or a team helping out.
So I'm at an impasse in which I have content ideas and drive to create it but I don't know where to put it. I might have to try to continue on Instagram and hope for the best, but it's a bit frustrating to know you're not operating with the best possible tool you could have.
Anyway, maybe I'm getting older.

Do you have any recommendations for other TNBC themed blogs that are active? I followed a bunch and they all seem to be inactive except around the end of the year, and I love your blog and want to keep my TNBC fix going.
Thank you, anon <3!! I completely understand - there aren’t a lot of TNBC blogs active out-of-season, so it feels lonely for most of the year. :( I reblog older posts through my Queue, but I frequently keep up with the Nightmare tags to see what blogs are posting!
Right now, one I would highly recommend is a newer askblog for Lock, Shock, and Barrel, @ask-lock-shock-and-barrel! The art and storytelling are phenomenal, and they’ve been the most active in the tag recently. :) I also try to regularly post on my TNBC Meme sideblog, @badtnbcideas! The submissions come every 2 days. Another TNBC fanartist has been posting great art, @claravee! And a Jack/Sally artist/writer has been posting too, @villageofloslunas!
--Unfortunately, most TNBC blogs I follow aren’t active this time of year. :( I don’t follow many, actually? The content is varied in the tags so I’d recommend following/tracking them if you want to see more Nightmare content. Otherwise, it’s quiet lately, but I expect that to change when we move into the season!

689803029405401088 I know that was going to be your last reply, and I'm not going to reply again either, because this is just going to go around in circles. But I want to add my input, because there are some things here I'm a little iffy about.
Some of the commenters mentioned people who don't roleplay at all. I think it's valid to be frustrated by that. I've seen people make five, ten, fifteen blogs, one after the other across months, across years, and literally never make a roleplay post. Ever. I'm not exaggerating here, sadly. And if they literally never roleplay, it's not a matter of "when" they roleplay. Because they never will. That can be a huge muse killer. It does make me wonder why people label themselves as roleplayers when they're only here to post like a fandom blog, when writing stuff comes implicit in the word "roleplaying". It's natural to expect a roleplayer to write something, anything. When someone writes literally zero words, and only posts fandom content unrelated to roleplaying, muse headcanons, etc, it's natural to wonder why they aren't a fandom blog instead. It's great to be into a character, but it doesn't always mean someone wants to roleplay them.
Personally, I'm a low-activity blog who has waited months, and years, for partners to reply IC and OOC. But I also want people who will, at some point, produce something. I can do a little, but I can't do zero. I'm a little hurt that this is being considered "possessive", which has such a huge negative connotation. People can roleplay one week an entire year and I'll be happy, but there is a huge difference between getting something and getting nothing. Not even being given the courtesy of knowing this will happen beforehand so I can avoid someone is crummy.
Roleplaying is roleplaying. Unless someone's personality makes a mess of things, it's fun and no-pressure no matter what level you're on, how you approach it, or what your style is. I grew up on proboards, gaia online, and other PBP forums, I know what roleplay was like (and still is like, on a few forums). But the whole "one-liners with asterisk actions" is not the only way to roleplay. Remember, a lot of roleplay communities separate roleplaying by illiterate, semi-literate (gaia online tended to fit those two styles), literate, advanced literate, and novella. All are acceptable. I thought it was strange how in your ask, you seemed to separate "serious" roleplayers (advanced literate, novella, long-term I guess?) from "the public/indie rpc", when those "serious" roleplayers are a part of that public/indie rpc. They're all roleplayers. We're all using the same aggregating websites to find partners and share our muses. Certain communities may have more of a bias towards certain roleplaying styles, like tumblr with frequent muse changeover and shorter threads, but it doesn't make the other styles less valid. Elsewhere, the way people approach things here are considered unpopular.
You seem to have conflated people who want to see any kind of roleplay activity, even if it's just a post or two every now and again, with people who are asking someone to post every week, or x times within a certain time frame, like, "hut hut hut, post or else". That isn't the case, at least for anyone who isn't a dick. I've waited enormous stretches of time for my partners to give replies, and I'm low-activity myself (as much as "low activity" feels like a dirty word, with social media insisting you have to be online and creating things all the time). I know that some people have more free time than others, and I'm sure many other people know this, too. This does mean, though, if I don't have tons of free time myself, I'm going to spend that precious free time interacting with people who are as guaranteed as possible to actually roleplay, and who show signs of that intention in some way.
People judge others based on the info they're provided with. People notice context clues, and they need some kind of indication. Maybe you have a bunch of long standing blogs, but the problem comes when people don't know that. If all someone ever sees is the short lived ones, because you never mention the long standing ones (for example), link to them, etc, they can't be expected to stick around because the information currently available to them is telling them something else. They shouldn't be expected to draw conclusions based on a lack of info. (So that's another reason it's good to communicate. "I keep both experimental muses and long-term muses", for example, says a lot without being lengthy or too revealing.)
Most people who want longer-term, consistent interactions really try to avoid short-term roleplayers, and not control people. If someone is a long-term roleplayer, it can actually be scary to describe what they're looking for in their rules. If someone says they only follow older blogs with more established muses in their rules, they're often attacked and told, "lol this is a hobby not a jobby are we supposed to fill out a CV while we're at it?". This is a hobby, yeah, and people who like longer-term things know that, so that kind of reception hurts a lot. Like I said above, "roleplaying" encompasses a lot of roleplaying types. There are so many kinds. Nobody is disagreeing that roleplay isn't for fun. And a lot of people HAVE fun "taking rp seriously". They like to push themselves as writers, and they like to have detail, which does require more involvement from partners (who should obviously enjoy it too, otherwise, they're just a bad match lol and neither mun should be roleplaying with the other).
Most long-term roleplayers tend to keep their distance (I know at least me and my partners do) from blogs that appear to be short-term or spontaneous. And because there are so few of us in the first place, honestly, we're not going to affect any real change in the RPC, or make any real ripple effects. I can count the number of long-term roleplayers I know on both hands. We're kind of just there, sitting in the corner. So the muns who you describe as being discouraged or feeling pressured and giving up, while their feelings are understandable, I don't think they actually feel pressured by us in particular, inherently, as long-term roleplayers. There's a much higher chance the pressure is coming from elsewhere. And I honestly haven't seen a single roleplayer's rules, or a PSA, suggest this is something that requires x amount of replies within x amount of time, or anything job-like, in years. It's quite the opposite.
But I'm running my mouth now. Like others said ad nauseum already, everyone just needs to communicate, and understand not everyone is built the same, or works the same (whether they are spontaneous or consistent). It can solve all of this. Unless someone is a legitimate ass (who will get angry no matter what, and believe me lol, I know there are a ton of people like that out there!), nobody cares how other people roleplay unless they lead people on. I want to close by saying I appreciate what you've said on this topic, and it's given me a lot to think about, even if this ask doesn't convey that.
In response to this ask about this submission.

Things I've learned from each fandom part 3.
TD: So much hate for the writers. Mostly for ruining their favorite characters and I don't blame them. So many characters suffered just for the sake of it's name. Total Drama. So. much. Angst. (But at least it made people love Ezekiel so-) also I'm the absolute biggest canon shipper for this fandom, but if you ship those that aren't together then please do. (I ship a ship that no one else does so I won't stop you.. the ship is Ezekiel x Staci btw-)
Ed Edd n Eddy: this show is so old and yet I still see fans roam around here and there. Like I definitely don't blame them for staying fans. This show was absolute gold and it still is! Brings back not only memories but how I wish to be a kid again and just do whatever like the characters do.
My Little Pony: this fandom was the second biggest (aside the biggest being warriors probably), but ever since the show ended not that many people talk about it as much as used to. Going back to some old videos made me realize that. And besides, I've also realized that there were/are so many times that the fans made fun of themselves (in the fanmade videos and music videos and such).
101 Dalmatian Street: the fandom is kinda small kinda big. I don't really know what they're up to now but they were somewhat disappointed with the fact that there weren't gonna be another season. (I am too ngl, I want to know what happens to Hunter).
DHMIS: the most patient fandom of all time. Absolutely just waiting for a ligit TV series of this webseries. Like, c'mon, I'm one of them too. Just sitting here, waiting because of wakey wakey and now me like all the others, are waiting for it to happen! Also this fandom has a lot of AUs and ask blogs. Or had. Idk (Probably not as much as Undertale when it came to AUs but almost..I guess).
Kindergarten/k2: this fandom wasn't so big until the second game came out (a lot like tf2 ngl) so people started to make more fan art and ask blogs for the fandom. Not sure about them now, but things were very great at the time. I was stoked when I heard of the 2nd game before it came out. I was exited and so was the fandom. Then it grew and I was glad I watched it grow (much like tattletale, batim and Cuphead. I automatically knew they were gonna have a whole fandom and stuff). :3
The Enemy Series: I almost forgotten about this one. My highschool year turned out amazing because of this book series. I wanted to see some fan content but couldn't find much, which means this fandom is small, but the people in it are very much big fans. Also the shipping is a bit confusing (sometimes) but I agree with some of it (however I'm still a canon shipper when it came to this book series so-)
Red vs Blue: I remember waiting for 2 or 3 more seasons to come out, but during that whole thing I've been finding some pretty cool stuff like the Chuba AU where the characters were these creatures called Chubathingies (idk if I spelled that right). And then I finally checked Tumblr and I found a lot of Tucker x Washington.. Back then I was a canon shipper I didn't like it, but at the same time I didn't care much (it's still not the ship for me but I don't mind it that much).
Avenue Q: People on Tumblr (and literally anywhere else) can agree with me that Rod and Nicky were meant to be. Even tho I was a canon shipper at the time, I've always wanted them to be together.. sadly Nicky didn't like Rod the same way (mostly because Rod never told him his crush on him) but Nicky had to know because he figured his type and found a buff counterpart of Nicky called Ricky (Which is dumb, but I'll explain more later..). Also not that much love for the main character, Princeton (he's my favorite that's why I'm pointing this out-).
Wroef: yup, much like TES (the Enemy Series) it doesn't have much fan content, but at least the people that did like it showed how much they liked it! Tho of course there wouldn't be any shipping due to being about family members and dying. Family members dying. So yeah, only people you can ship is the parents (at their times, if that makes sense).
Twelve/Origins: one of the most promising webseries that no one talks about because not that many people know it. Sure a lot of people know it on YouTube, but no where else (except DeviantArt but I don't go there as much as Tumblr). So yeah, pretty underated ngl.. (this webseries has LGBTQ+ characters btw- also twelve was the original series then they made origins after the series ended. Forgot what that's called..)
MM: HOPH: I immediately joined the fandom right after watching a video of it. Thought that why bother trying to avoid it anyways? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ so the fandom mostly ships Mao Mao with basically everyone (kinda like Maka), and adopted him because he went through so much (I don't blame them). That's all I know so far. Idrk about the whole Mao Mao thing with the fans that was only a guess.
Steven Universe: one of the oldest fandoms I was in. Came back once I've heard of the movie. Everyone loves Spinel (she became my favorite once I found out that I didn't have an exact favorite so i decided that she would be.. thought of Ezekiel from Total Drama too). But yeah, now everyone is sad for Steven (which is totally understandable).
OTGW: sometimes I join a fandom souly for one character. That character is non other than Wirt. Because he is my favorite and afterwards I found MoominValley so all is good. The fandom itself isn't really that active (as far as I know) so not much to talk about here.
So there you have it. Some stuff I've learned and for some reason how I became into the fandom. Idk why I would talk about myself instead of something more interesting so next time I'll try to focus on the fandom news and nothing else. Also sorry for making them longer than usual. Hope you enjoy the rest of your day/night. :3

"Black Magic" *Part 12*
Ayyyyy I fixed it!
For those who missed it, I wrote this chapter also on my phone because apparently I'm addicted to this story I can't focus on my real life even when I'm out.
Also sorry this is short but it was written in a Target parking lot on my phone. And also-- I just wanna put off "THE" part. 😂😬😘

Rafael shook his head, still reeling from your encounter. You had no idea what the hell you were talking about, he loved Olivia. He was sure of it. But the last thing you said nagged at him. Even if you had been some kind of crazy mind reading witch, that didn’t stop him from telling Liv about his father.
He had never told her, and if he was really honest with himself, he had no intention of telling her any time soon, maybe ever.
Why didn’t he want to tell her?

Rafael decided to show you, he went straight to Liv's bridal room and knocked on the door.
"Yes?"
"Liv it's me."
"Rafa we can't see each other before the ceremony! It's bad luck!" She called through the door.
"Well it's more bad luck if we start this marriage with secrets." He replied.
Olivia's eyes widened: was he...was he going to tell her his middle name? All on his own? She KNEW you were full of shit
"O-okay just tell me through the door." Her eyes lit up with hope.
"No, I need to be looking at you or I might lose my nerve"
That was good enough for her! She swung the door open.
Rafael stared at her in awe, she had never looked so beautiful in all the years he knew her. He knew you were full of shit, he loved her completely.
"Liv I haven't been honest with you. My middle name isn't Antonio."
"It's not…?" Her eyes began to well up. It was happening. It was really happening.
"No, it's…." He paused and gazed at her. She was beautiful, she was perfect.... But there was no...safety.
"It's Ronaldo," he lied. "I just wanted you to have the right name on the marriage license"
"God damn it Rafael are you fucking kidding me? She yelled.
"What are you talking about?" Rafael was taken aback.
"Why can't you just tell me your real middle name? Why is that so hard for you?!" She yelled again..
"I'm sorry, you know that I'm lying? You know my real middle name?"
"What.. ? Yes...maybe, I don't know," she stammered.
"How do you know my middle name?" He asked.
" I, um...did...did you finish the flask I gave you?" She asked softly.
"....Excuse me?" Rafael asked suspiciously. He turned and walked back to his room. Olivia followed behind him quickly.
"You mean this flask that you supposedly gave me for our wedding day?" He asked, holding up a silver flask with his initials on it.
"You mean this nice loving gift, a token of your love on the most important day of our lives? You're asking me if I 'finished this'?"
"I.. well…" she stuttered.
"And what exactly is this Olivia?" He turned and headed to the bathroom of the groom suite.
"No Rafael, don't!!!" Olivia chase after him frantically.
Rafael opened the flask and poured its contests into the sink. To his horror and disbelief, a dark purple liquid poured out of it; as if it was purple and blue mixed together.
"Holy shit…" Rafael muttered.
"Oh my God!" he just stared in shock as the liquid dissipated down the drain. Olivia could only stand frozen in shock and couldn't speak.
"Oh my God, that girl was right wasn't she?" He stared at her.
"What girl? Was there a girl here?" Olivia quickly turned defensive. "Rafa you shouldn't listen to random ass people--"
"Oh no, fuck that Liv!" He screamed. Throwing the flask across the bathroom.
"What the hell was that?!" He gestured to the sink, now empty of the contents of the flask. "What the hell did you do to me?!
"Nothing!" She stuck to her denial. "It's just the color of the special liquor that I bought you. It's some kind of wine," She tried to think of a lie on the spot, but she wasn't great at it.
"Oh that is a load of shit!" Rafael scoffed while throwing up his hands. "I can't believe this...I can't believe some random ass girl knew more about me than you. She's right isn't she?"
"Rafa come on--" She started to speak, but Rafael wasn't hearing it.
"Oh no fuck that, fuck 'Rafa'. We're past Rafa, don't call me that!" Rafael screamed. "That girl was right, wasn't she? You made me forget her. I'm actually in love with her, aren't I?"
"No! You were never in love with her! That shit was fake. It was as fake as this!" She slapped her hand over her face after saying the last part inadvertently.
"Oh my God...This whole thing is fake. You manipulated my mind. You made me think that I was in love with you!" Rafael felt sick to his stomach.
"You are in love with me!" Olivia screamed. "You just needed to realize it," she added softly.
"And you wanted me to drink more so what? You could make me forget this ever happened so that I would marry you willingly? Like your little robot?" Rafael paced the room angrily.
"No I love you Rafael! That's why I did this! I did this for us!" She was crying now.
"That's BULLSHIT!" Rafael yelled.
"You didn't do this for me, you did this for you. You don't love me at all! If you really loved me, then you would want me to be happy no matter who that was with! I'm not your fucking Ken doll Liv! I'm not some guy you can just manipulate and tote around like some lap dog, doing whatever you say. That's not what love is!"
"Rafael come on, just look--- just, just drink this," she pulled out another vial from her bra. "Just drink it and you'll forget about this, and then we can be happy!"
"Are you not hearing me at all Olivia? Rafael asked her in actual disgust.
"You're still just trying to stick to your delusion? Don't come near me with that. In fact don't come near me at all. I can't. I can't even look at you right now," He started to storm out of the room but Olivia chased after him.
"Where are you going!?!"
"To get back what you stole from me!" Rafael yelled back, running out of the church.
----
You stood there in front of the penguins with Maria and Chloe just staring at them. It had gotten dark now. The tank was lit up, brightening the cave with its neon blue water. They looked so happy, just swimming and carefree, not a care in the world.
"Look at you guys," You sighed. "So happy, so innocent. You wouldn't lie to each other, you wouldn't manipulate each other, you just love each other unconditionally," You started to tear up.
"Oh honey…" Chloe came and put an arm around you.
"He's not coming, is he?" You looked at her with tears now dripping down your face.
She looked down at her watch; it had been about an hour since you had shown up there. That was about 20 minutes from the church. So it had been a while for Rafael to change his mind.
"I mean... I don't want to be Debbie Downer or anything but--" She have you a pity look.
"30 more minutes?" You pleaded with puppy dog eyes.
"Alright…." She looked at Maria who just shrugged sadly. Then she linked an arm in yours, laying her head on shoulder. "As long as you need."
------
Rafael was in an Uber, heading towards Central Park. He couldn't decide how he felt at the moment. He was enraged with Olivia for fucking with his emotions, his brain, his heart. How long has it gone on for?
Now that it had been a while since his last "dose", he was starting to realize he couldn't remember yesterday, or any of the past week, and it scared the shit out of him.
How could she do this? How could she just take memories from him like taking cookies out of a cookie jar? And with absolutely NO remorse? She was STILL trying to control him even when he was confronting her! Did she ever really love him? Were they ever really friends? It was like losing a lover and his best friend in one fell swoop.
And then there was you. Maybe you really had been Liv-- his lover and best friend. But she had taken that too, he had no memory of you whatsoever.
Even now he struggled to even remember your name. He was pretty sure you had said it in his dressing room, but all the shit he had in his system still left him all foggy. He did remember you knew his middle name, his Broadway dream.
You knew about Eduardo, how could he have told you about Eduardo? How important were you to him? How could he just forget that? He wanted that back, that safe feeling you were going on about. You were absolutely on the money about him never feeling safe once his Abuela had moved in with him and his mother. His mother's house never felt safe, even after Eduardo left.
His Mami was wonderful, but he never felt like he could ever fully be himself with her, because she wouldn't accept him. Which is why he never felt comfortable sharing himself completely, ever.
He wanted that safe feeling so badly….he wanted his feelings back so badly. Even if they were someone he supposedly didn't know.
"Uh….hey man are you ok? The Uber driver's question made him realize he was crying. The driver was awkwardly glancing back at him.
"Ahem...yeah no I'm fine. Can we uh...can we go any faster?"
"Hey man I can't control New York traffic," he gestured towards the stand still grid of cars.
He was still 5 blocks away. He wasn't entirely sure just how in love with him you were, though you were pretty damn hysterical at the church.
Would you wait all night? Have you already left?
"You know what, I think I can walk faster than this," Rafael told the driver as he got out on the curb and began running towards the park.
"....Don't forget to rate me five stars!!!" The driver called after him.
----
You glanced down at your phone, it had been 45 minutes since you had asked Chloe for 30. Maria was asleep on a bench, Chloe was falling asleep on your shoulder.
He wasn't coming. Olivia had won. You had to accept it.
You put your phone down and walked up to the glass of the penguin tank. They were all sleeping, except for one. They all were wearing these adorable harnesses that had their name on them, hers read "Penny".
Penny was sitting on a rock above the water, just staring at the "shore" of their enclosure.
You wondered if there was any explanation for that-- you googled "PENNY PENGUIN CENTRAL PARK ZOO". An article immediately came up. You scanned it, reading a particular sentence.
"....Penny's mate was killed in an accident at the zoo six months ago. Penguins are notoriously monogamous, so it's likely she won't ever take another mate. She just spends her night and days looking towards the place the Zookeeper's took Leonard from the enclosure."
Your heart broke, tears came to your eyes for the millionth time that day as you pressed a hand to the glass.
"I'm right there with you Penny, I know how you feel babe…" You sniffled as if the penguin could understand you. But she still continued to stare, waiting for her love to come back.
You wiped tears away and walked away from the tank over to Chloe and Maria, shaking her awake.
"Let's go," you sniffled.
"You sure honey?" She asked you as Maria stirred awake.
"Yeah…. it's over," you sniffled again, all out of water in your body.
She let you lean on her as you walked back up the stairs to the park.
You were so downtrodden, you didn't notice you had left your phone sitting in the enclosure.
