i really only watched this bc charithra was in it, but also sometimes you just get in the mood for a cheesy teen romcom.

1. anyway. i hate archie’s character. he is the worst friend ever. like are you sure you like her??? bc hes so mean to her. he basically called her an ugly loser and made her fucking cry and then STILL chose to pretend to be the love doctor, lie to her face, and saboutage her the entire process.

2. that scene where amelia does the whole school girl outfit and then struts past everybody is so cute love her character. i’m so mad it didnt end well for her then they called her splat face girl like yall are DEAD WRONGGG lmaoo

3. yknow ik shes crazy for being in love w/ billie after 10 hours but hes fine as hell so i mean.. i get it.

4. mean girls in movies need to have better digs. they were not intimidating. you know, Sonic fandom on twitter has an interesting toxic development. I´ll tell you under the "read more" thing

That´s it, under the "read more" bridge. Because I consider talking about the toxicity of the fandom as somenthing that also contributes on having a trauma or anxiety about it, somenthing also toxic. So I´ll understood if you want to not known nothing about the theme

The thing on twitter (now X) is... Whith the ships... (Sonaze and Silvaze on this case) I investigate a little bit of it, just for find this post

Look´s funny and exagerated, but look at the numbers, one MILLION reproductions and TWO THOUSAND likes, that´s far more atention than what ANY ship fanart can get. And you can´t just block that people because there´s A LOT.

Sonic ships aren´t so popular on the platform, so is very VERY easy that someone can come and saboutage the other ship whith personal hate, but there´s an added problem...

...It´s that some popular ships acount are beggining to protest about this behaviour on their art acount... Paying atention about those haters problem and exagerating them.

That behaviour, is extremely common on the app. It´s practiccally impossible to do nothing about it, It's a big feedback loop: people protest about somenthing silly/hate onto somenthing, then some people arge about it, making the problem even bigger because is more visible, and people gain even more prejudices about the fandom, clasifying everyone as toxic, and then more clueless people see it, and get paranoid about if that´s true or not, someone critics some coment harmesly but the prejudices and trauma of the fandom being toxic, makes them think that they are being attacked.

Another point: half of the fandom is autistic, a condition that not only can make you more sensible and have excesive emotions about "normal things" but is. also. a social. disability.

And its very VERY anoying, you can undestood bad a frase and take it involuntary personal on a painfull level when it was a harmeless thing, and people can misunderstood your intentions, mistaking you whith a weirdo or a dangerous person (As an real example that ocurried to me, I once ran into an autistic person who the second thing he asked me was what my sexual orientation is, I didn´t even knew that person). Luckily, social disability can be treated effectively by going to specialized therapy centers.

It´s just a suposition, but maybe, MAYBE, some "problems" of the fandom there was caused by autistic people who did not go to therapy and was too hyperfixated about their ship, ignoring that they maybe was being rude about it.

The conclusion is simple, Twitter prays more atention to drama and wars than the art, that's why ship wars have more atention than any fanart or positive vive.

All of this may looks worrysome, but I promise to you that artist cancelatios or masive hate aren´t that common, in fact, you would must to have the worst luck in the world for someone to cancel you on any platform as a small fanart account. It´s just a very big acount thing.

Its more common to being ignored or receive positive coments about your art, that´s why I hate when big acounts talk about fandom toxicity so often when they aren´t even a "drama" acount

And even if someone comments that he didn't like your content, the other positive comments on the sections helps A LOT whith digesting critics and hate. That's why I love positive coments more than the likes

okay fr your characterization of Amy is perfect IMO. A little (understandably) upset at first, and then within very little time, does a complete 180 and starts teasing sonic about having a crush on Shadow. She is the expert after all, she'd know! (also completely unrelated but bi amy supremacy)

INGNNGFIGF That means a lot to hear! I didn't want to ignore Amy's feelings, after all her feelings for Sonic have been such a big part of her character throughout the years. But you know what? She's also so much more than that. She loves so deeply. She's passionate, empathetic, and an amazing friend. She was always going to support Sonic - even if her feelings weren't reciprocated. I'm not a fan of stories that paint her as this overly jealous, bitter person who does what she can to saboutage Sonic's potential relationships. Those stories just... ain't for me. On Disney's legacy

So the spectacle has come and gone. Once Upon A Studio celebrated the 100 years milestone with grace, while Wish did so with disappointment and playing it absurdly safe (barring the credits sequence, I openly admit crying at that). I have so many feelings about this that I might as well be a bonfire, each flame a different opinion.

Of course there's nostalgia. It's hard not to when even the more obscure, less financially successful movies were given a spotlight. Considering some of those movies were self-saboutaged by Disney (such as Brother Bear, to give an excuse for the shift to 3D, or Strange World, due to its LGBT representation), they damn well earned it. But even my enjoyment has been tempered by the horrific actions Disney has commit across time, from their bullying of Felix Salten to the endorsement of Uyghur genocide in China.

Most of all, I feel sad and embittered, my own entrance into the world of animation complicated and ungodly hard. Yet, I do still have hope, and these two milestones amplify both feelings.

Maybe we oughta celebrate Pannonia Studios' anniversary.

i wanted to write this down while ive got eddsworld brain!! im posting this cause its easier than just writing a whole fanfic (rolling eyes emoji)

here was my plans for missing your mayhem:

-(edd wants to be chaos red army with tord. tord doesnt know what he wants, but everyone seems to know what they want him to do. might want to quit)

-edd wishes tord had just been honest about all the weird evil genius shit. he figures it would have been easier if tord had just talked through shit instead of assuming hed hate him.

always had a weird pseudo crush on tord. pulled pigtails. misses the good old days. wants to be chaotic with tord.

tord thinks hes a super genius and everything but is just kind of a spoiled child lashing out because he thinks he doesnt deserve love.

edd just thinks tord is the coolest, dorkiest, cutest loser. wants his friends to chill out.

theyre both super chaotic neutral and have morals that make No Sense to other people but perfect sense to each other

the largest pharmaceuticals company is the source of the repeated zombie apocalypses; they regularly expose the public to the disease in order to promote medication sales. theres lots of other shady shit they do but this is what gets them on red army’s map.

matt takes meds made by the company that subdues the vampire thing. its kind of like a seasonal allergy or lactose intolerance.

tom has a job opportunity as a personal investigator finding missing people from pharmaceuticals company. lots of cash. needs extra hands though. asks edd and matt to help so they come along.

edd been hanging around uselessly waiting by phone for chats with tord. theyre telling stories over the phone when tom is like “hey edd i found this cool job opportunity but i need three of us. it pays well pwomise” and edd hasnt gotten any work done because hes been hanging out with Tord so hes like well ok!

and they basically go to like. test a new med at a lab to try to personal investigate the situation? and they get seperated from matt on the way out and he gets captured. the laws regarding stuff about undead people are really iffy especially in the pharmaceutical industry and legal areas in general and thats the kind of Wide World Plot that they get caught in.

they go and somehow get caught up in vampire conspiracy while edd is being all cutesy about his bf. tom calls him out that theres plenty adventure but hes just not taking it and hes kind of a bad friend (never takes things seriously, self-saboutages)

tord meanwhile has been plotting and working on a solo mission to dismantle a pharmaceutical monopoly / threaten the boss a bunch / whatever; he goes back and forth about how to do what hes doing. and even explaining what it is that he wants. he eventually admits to paul that he doesnt know what hes doing and pauls like hey. you have friends. let us help dickbag. so they help him plan and he gets all the way inside the fucking place and then edd calls him on the phone like "wahhh wahhh we got matt vampire-napped"

so tord ruins his well crafted plan to dismantle the weird anti-vampire cult in a way that keeps his politics clean and safe and the red army future possible by saving matt for edd and they chaos their way out of the building. tom is fucking pissed that tords here. edds like “my good pal tom cant complain now im literally putting my friends first :3c”

anyway now the world is pissed at the red army for interfering and doing Blantant Terrorist Shit and edd is like FINALLY WE GET TO BE CHAOS TOGETHER <33333 but at the same time tord is saying FINALLY I CAN LEAVE MY POSITION AS RED LEADER TO BE A NORMAL BOY WITH EDD AND MY FRIENDS <33333 and edds like "what" and tords like "what" and then they get in a big fight and storm off and rethink their priorities

>tord is a huge baby romantic and has been doing everything to be the main character edgy hero but in reality hes a nervous wreck from so much responsibility and he misses just going on fun adventures that have no political implications

>edd misses fun and passion in his life but is kind of a dick about it

>tom is here and a responsible adult (which is just him coping because he really wants everyone to be friends again because he is literally a huge blubbering cartoon character and he sleeps with a fucking stuffed animal) and hes doing his best with picking up jobs and stuff

>matt is here and the system is against him but him and tom have a weirdly functional relationship in this story for some reason. like they support each other and watch shitty girly films together. and go on little adventures of their own without edd because hes been a pile of depression and sad. but yeah he has a terrible time because of anti-undead stuff and he is like 2x undead.
