An idea for a post Bladeworks time travel fic.

Tenish years post war Rin, Saber, and Shirou end up in Britain at the height of the round table.

Saber is afraid of being recognized but she's so so much different after 10 years of wedded bliss(also of not having to lead Jack or shit because Rin took charge because Saber and Shirou obviously can't lead shit just look at them) that the only people with a chance in hell of recognizing them are Kay and Merlin. Saber not knowing this leans into playing the part of a young maiden(because she also kind wants to wear the dresses from this time she never got too before) but because of the growth(well non physical growth) she's had over the past 10 years she goes way overboard due to her normal personality having changed and everybody in Camelot goes crazy over this amazing young maiden, the older generation thinking of how much she's like Igraine. People keeps saying it and Morgan gets passed and shows up to prove how she's nothing like her beloved mother and accidentally magically proves Saber is a CHILD OF IGRAINE. Everybody freaks out because this child is way too young to be Igrains child so how the hell...

Meanwhile while Saber is being a reality TV character and loving showing her love for her people without restrictions or responsibility. Shirou and Rin are busy saving Camelot and changing history no matter what bullshit the world throws at them because their giving Saber a happy ending this time damn it! (And if rin can make herself the middle of a Saver sandwich for saving the kingdom that fine too)

Harem Poll 2/3 (do-over)

Since I've been doing content for Natsu's harem... I feel I should be equal opportunity here. (人◕ω◕) I'll pick... 3 smaller harems to do a similar infodump kind of thing. A way to get to know the characters better, and how the harems tick. And even better, for the time being I'll focus on harems I haven't brought up too much. ... So no Makoto or Hajime yet... But they get their day in the sun a lot. At least on my blog. XD

I'm gonna run some polls here. We will get to hear about all these lovely girls and how they get along with their man. (人◕ω◕) However, as I am in a generous mood, I will let fans elect who I focus on first. ... This may backfire, but I will attempt a democracy. The gist is, the winner will get a post where I elaborate on the ship, throw in some headcanons, and how they get along with the other members of the harem. All I'm doing is showing love for harems here; if you're a fan and want to support your fav characters, go on and vote. I'll keep polls open... for a week, cuz there's only the two options. If I only did a day, I'd imagine there wouldn't be many participating... So I'll leave the window open for a week. See who bites. (人◕ω◕)

Just speak up if you love a character and want to see them first. (人◕ω◕) I'll be getting to all of them regardless, there are no losers here~...

A new plot bunny enters the fray

Mineta is replaced by Shirou (already, an improvement).

Shirou's quirk, Round Table, at first appears to be summoning knights of the Fate round table, with Artoria being his first summon. Cue her introducing herself as "ARTHUR, KING OF THE BRITONS". She doesn't know the reference.

Izuku is still very much like canon at the start of the series, and Shirou does not come in at Aldera. Things really start to change at the entrance exam.

Due to a misunderstanding (and maybe a bit of Nezu sadism?) Artoria isn't allowed to join the exam and has to sit this one out. Of course, she expresses her displeasure in a manner befitting her royal standing (she is NOT pouting).

Shirou summons Gawain and Lancelot for the exam, and they promptly start stomping all the robots into the ground. Of course, there is tension between them, but they manage to keep it to jeering and snarking.

Because he needs to be taken down a peg, Bakugo is in the same arena as Shirou. So he has to share his pool of robotic victims with two knights in shining armor (very litterally in Gawain's case), all while Shirou (being much more well adjusted than in the VN/anime) helps people around.

so, the result is Bakugo landing, like, 3rd in the exam, with Shirou somewhere around 8th. He's good, but he's not OP (that's the knights' job).

Due to the increase in costs associated with the Knights being there, the Emiya household needs more funds. Retired underground hero Kiritsugu doesn't have enormous savings, and Irisviel's car racing is not a very regular source of income. It is, however, a regular source of costs. Between her tunning habits and her wreacking cars ... The only one to really bring regular income is ... their third(?) Maiya with her job in private security.

So, Artoria saves the day by ... writing books. On how life was in 5th Century Britain, on the religious and cultural context of the time, and of course transcriptions of plays and treaties lost to time. She makes a pretty penny off of that, and of course gets tear stained letters of gratitude from historians every week.

Her existence does cause a fair bit of a stir in Europe mind you ...

The night settled in after a long day that flew by without him realizing it – time seems to have rather malleable proprieties when she is around him. Sometimes it wasn’t anything special; no words were exchanged as her smile and gaze did all the talking , allowing him to lose himself merely watching her. That was now his favorite way to spend the day, even if wouldn’t bring himself to say it out loud. Dinner had been a success and everyone had finally left them alone for the night. Shirou took the opportunity to shower and decided to cool at the porch, watching the stars for a while before practicing is magecraft – it was when he heard her soft steps closing by.

Her voice rang, bringing an easy smile to his features. Did he looked melancholic or something ? Saber’s statement seemed a little out of nowhere, however he accepted it gladly. The boy was bad at putting his thoughts into words, but there was no doubt in his heart: ❝ I do. Do you know I feel the same, right ? ❞

For Saber, Caster, and Rider from FSN; how do you think they feel about their True Names vs their Class Names, especially once in a relationship??? Do they prefer for their lover to use one over the other??? Assuming this is either post Grail War or in an intimate setting where they are alone and there is no risk of their True Name being overheard by an enemy.

Ok so first and foremost we need to lay a lot of things down because this isn't as simple as it may seem. The reason servants are called by their class in the first place is that their identity could give away their powers and the element of surprise is important in a battle royale. Due to this there's also really no way to know you're not being watched at any point in the war. If we're talking about any post HGW relationship the usage of their class name would come about simply as a force of habit.

Second due to Fate being a japanese franchise a lot of the way characters use names and surnames is dependant on that culture with first name usage being seen as intimate or used to show a character's inexperience with societal customs or their different cultural background.

Saber wouldn't care about you continuing to use her class name and feels no shame towards her name or surname and would not mind being called by them. However neither really roll of the tongue so that would probably lead to some sort of nickname being used which would end up probably being Saber again with her real name being used in intimate moments.

Caster similarly wouldn't mind either her class or true name. I do feel she would have a leaning toward sappy couple stuff like "honey" and "dear". She does very much hate being called a witch.

Rider has a lot of self image problems so she might have a dislike for her true name due to what it's associated with. You could try to work with her through her issues getting her comfortable with it or maybe using a shortened version like "Dusa".

The most interesting would actually be Archer. Both Shirou and Kiritsugu are simply called EMIYA when they become counter guardians. I think this is because while they are their own people the Emiya name symbolises the self-destructive dream and sense of duty they both end up following (which they fucked up with Kiritsugu's dad but that's a whole new can of worms). So him getting called Shirou would be a really emotional moment with him remembering how much he has lost himself.

Sidenote but this is also why Saber x Archer is one of my favorite ships ever. Because Saber getting saved by Shirou and then seeing him after he ended up worse than her and having to "return the favor" in a way. Because while she almost destroyed herself for her ideal Archer basically ended up in a personal hell. So her calling him Shirou reminding him that even after everything he's still the boy she fell in love with. It's peak.

Since I wanna start a fight Guinevere/Lancelot is as canonical to Arthurian legends as Shirou/Saber is, and that’s amazing.
