I just found out that the fan translation patch of Fate/EXTRA CCC got finished. I'm playing EXTRA in prep to run through CCC.

I remember like... 5 things? VRMMO setup (except not), soul screwy stuff, Saber is NOT Saber but is another Saber, and the other things are more about Fate/Stay Night and Fate/Grand Order. And the one thing with the Saberface human whose soul got warped to become a sort of living vessel for King Arthur...?

But even without real knowledge of the game or clearcut memories of the Fate series I know that these people are doomed. Betrayal or loss. Their hubris is going to do them in.

And to help ease me in I'm running with Saber since that'll probably be easymode (straight forward combat, hax sword, ect).

Didn't like how transparent Nendoroid Saber Extra's dress was compared to her actual design, so I fixed it, with matte clear coat and thinned white paint applied to the interior of her dress. I made this explainer collage for friends and family and then decided it was too good for them lmao.

People talk a lot about the scene in Fate/Stay Night where Tohsaka 'canonically bisexual' Rin forces Shirou and Saber to have a threesome with her and then proceeds to fuck Saber onscreen but what we DON'T talk about enough is the bit in the 2010 low budget spinoff jrpg Fate/EXTRA where she volunteers to do the mana transfer sex ritual with the player's servant and depending on the route has sex with either beautiful fox spirit Tamamo no Mae or decadent Roman emperor (who for some reason in Fate is a woman) Nero Claudius

have you seen the reveal for kamen rider gavv yet? i've fallen in love with him, he looks so great. not to mention that he doesn't have an overt animal motif this time, i've been missing having a non-animal themed main rider since zi-o. and it's just funny trying to see people guess what animal he could possibly be (i've seen rabbit, cat, jackal, and kangaroo so far).

YEAH he's so purple and shiny! 💜🧡💜 I love candy themes/aesthetic and I'm SO jazzed to see a whole series based around that; really looking forward to the trailer/press conference in like. a month. :') though I had assumed he was supposed to be reminiscent of a...cutely-rounded gummy beetle or something, because Rider? they look more like horns than ears to me at least!

GOOD NEWS FOR SONG LAN GIRLIES (ME): Spanish novel TL did not mess up his final line! It reads more briefly and a bit more clinically than "tell him- I'm sorry, it was not your fault" (it is more like "I will apologize and tell him it was not his fault") but it has the exact same meaning and most importantly the apology is in there

IMPORTANT EDIT because I had just skimmed the line in my eagerness to know if they'd gotten it right, the perceived "clinical" brevity of "me disculparé" was in fact made up for by the beautiful "le haré saber que no fue culpa suya" which, more than "telling him it was not his fault" is "i will make him know it was not his fault". though it is just another manner of saying the same thing (not 'make' but commonly used like 'let'), to me it carries more weight than simply telling him. ahhh god
