Aradia has had enough of the Alpha Tmeline.

No matter how stoic she may appear, there's a part of her that can't stand to see her friends suffer - and that part of her is finally gaining ground against the mental conditioning of the Voices.

She doesn't want this, and all her posturing about how it's pointless to fight the inevitable tide of fate is revealed as the coping mechanism it always was. This is wrong, she knows it's wrong, and even if it's pointless, she has to at least try to help.

You know, I'm starting to understand why this fatalism was so intoxicating to Aradia. The Alpha offers her freedom from consequences, allowing her to act on her impulses without worrying about the fallout.

Yah Ribon is a piyyut in Aramaic rather than in Hebrew.  To my eyes (a person who speaks only two of the languages I’m about to mention), the relationship between Hebrew and Aramaic is similar to the relationship between Spanish and Portuguese.  That is to say, they look and sound very similar (two sets of closely related languages), and if I’m looking at Aramaic or Portuguese, I’ll often stare stupidly at it for a while, wondering why I can’t read it, until I realize that I am not, in fact, looking at Hebrew or Spanish.

Anyway, this piyyut is in Aramaic.  The paytan was Israel ben Moses Najara, who lived in the Ottoman Empire in the sixteenth century.  The piyyut is a joyful poem praising the Divine and asking for redemption for the Jewish people and a return to our homeland.  It’s often sung at Shabbat tables, though it wasn’t originally meant for Shabbat.  This particular melody, with its lively and compulsively sing-along-able chorus, appears to be of Iraqi origin, performed here by a group of musicians from the West London Synagogue.

These three NASA astronauts are the American flight crew for the 1975 ASTP mission. The prime crewmen for the joint U.S.-Soviet Union space flight are, left to right, Donald K. Slayton, docking module pilot; Vance D. Brand, command module pilot; and Thomas P. Stafford, commander. The crew was announced on January 30, 1973. Erik Jan Hanussen or Erich Hanussen (Vienna, June 2, 1889 - Berlin, March 25, 1933), originally born as Harschel Steinschneider, was a well-known mentalist of Austro-Jewish origin, being acclaimed as a great hypnotist, occultist and astrologer. during the time of the Weimar Republic and the beginning of Nazism. He became one of Hitler's favorite astrologers.

Hanussen was murdered on the night of March 24-25, 1933, probably by a group of SA men, and his body was left in a field near Stahnsdorf, a town near Berlin.

This white space suit (WSS) portrait of Donald “Deke” Slayton shows him as docking module pilot for the 1975 mission. Slayton was one of the original “Mercury 7” astronauts but grounded for a heart problem but NASA had returned him to active flight status in March 1972.
