I'm late in the game for Taibani merch even if I originally watched S1 back when it aired (around 2011/2012). It was during a time when I had stopped collecting anything animanga related and was primarily purging my existing collectibles. Obviously Yuri (who was my fave even back then), has made me start collecting shit again.

The 2022 reprints of the Sakakibara manga along with the Sakakibara artbook and Limited Edition original printing of the Vol 5 tankoubon featuring Luna/Yuri arrived today. They were supposed to be a Christmas present from my hubs.

I also previously acquired a set of the Rascal x Taibani acrylic mascots because this set came with 2 Rascal Lunas. One for my keys and one to keep mint and sealed. I stuck one of these Bunny's(?) on my spare keys to my Mom's place, because there were 3 in this lot.

Finally the Lunatic S.H. Figuarts and the DXF Figure 5 who are currently displayed with some of my older Shaka gashapons I kept and the Anime Heroes release.

I'm currently waiting on shipments for a bunch of other stuff I've ordered like 2 of those adorable TB2 mochi mochi plushes, and the Luna and Yuri plushies released during the rising as well as a bunch of stuff from the Summer Resort collab, TB2 Museum fine art board, but I'll post them once I receive them. This is all I currently have onhand.

I know I keep blogging about Sailor Moon merch but I can't help myself! I don't collect any figurines myself because I am the person that is tempted to take them out of the box instead of collect them, but I am soooo close to purchasing it. My pro tips for buying "action figures" (the high quality ones sold to adults that go for like $30+)

If you're worried about chinese knock-offs, 1. look for low prices (unles the company themselves is making more stock expect the price to be a bit crazy and knock-offs are usually like. absurdly low) and 2. see if the listing has pictures of the box. if there are no labels (see below) it's a clear sign of a chinese knock-off

don't bother with storm collectibles. they say they're 1/12 (a scale where figures are usually ~6 inches max) but they're actually like 7 inches and their articulation sucks shit for $100+ figures

S.H. Figuarts are da best. articulation is always amazing and they're now doing a lot of "entry-level" figures that are ~$35. their usual figure is $50+ and comes w a bunch of alternate hands and heads but the "starter" ones just don't have many accessories

Big Bad Toy Store is a good site to look for figures. i'd recommend either it or ebay. BBTS's only downside is it doesnt have "favoriting" or bookmarking (which is wild)

Play Arts Kai is a good brand but that specific type is 12-inch figures (1/6 Scale). Bring arts is the 1/12 scale 6-inch figures (almost exclusively final fantasy/kingdom hearts figures)

Kamen Rider Figures for Sale

Hey, folks! @rudojudo and I are looking to downsize our toy collection somewhat, and as a consequence we're looking for a loving home for our S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Fourze Base States and Kamen Rider Meteor. We've had them for a while, but honestly they've barely been touched, and we'd rather they go to someone who will actually take them out and have fun with them.

Both figures are complete in box with all accessories and inserts. We're asking for $45 + $7.50 shipping per figure, or you can get both together for $85 + $10 shipping.

Related to today’s trailer I’ve been able to finally collect the entire posable figure line they’ve released! They’re some of the highest quality Mario figures in a long time, probably since the S.H Figuarts. Bowser in particular is absolutely massive
