Altani will never become a Paladin or any healer other than Sage. As for Paladin, they find armor cumbersome, and in their dealings with Paladins in Ul'dah, found the order to be lackluster.

For the healers, Altani is struggles to channel their aether from destructive magic to healing magic, as such, their spells would maim rather than heal. Sage works for them because the nouliths help focus their aether correctly.

Ryn will never become a reaper, but any other job is potentially on the table. Voidsent, and the Void in general are things Ryn tries to avoid dealing with. Now that Altani is a reaper, her efforts are mostly in vain, but she would never pick the job up herself.

Is there a class or job that is completely not canon for your WoL - either they absolutely cannot or will not take it up?

D(a)emons are each congruent of a certain Sovereign, yeah? Who are Serenity daemons connected to? I'm running a new roleplay account that's a serenity daemon and I figure she'd be all fancy with her sign-offs but I can't remember what it should be-

Saw your post from a while back about Tharizdun being Predathos, and ive been making posts of my own similar theories on my sideblog too. Here's something to add to the evidence pile;

The recent episodes and the convo with Teven Klask hint at the demons of the abyss feeling bolstered by Predathos, wheras by Teven's account, Asmodeus is nervous. But why would the demons be feeling strong enough to do these incursions in the material plane if Tharizdun (who resides in the Abyss) is itself a betrayer god and thus presumably just as vulnerable as Asmodeus and the other betrayers? Theres something extremely fishy there that stands out like a sore thumb to me. And if Tharizdun isnt himself Predathos, id bet money that he's at least related in some way.

(Sorry I forgot to reply! Ty for this ask and the juicy evidence!) I agree and even caught up to the current episode (88) I still think Predathos is actually Tharizdun or at least an off shoot, like how Ukatoa is an offspring of the betrayer god Zehir.

Tharizdun has always been described more like an "It" and very alien, and being the "chained god" I can absolutely see it being Predathos chained at the center of Ruidis (with the dispel magic device the party found in e88 being a key tool in breaking those chains.)

We saw with the Angel of Irons in c2 how Tharizdun will mask itself to appear as whatever best influences others, so I can see how this would affect not only the folks living on Ruidis, but appeal to someone like Ludinus and his goals especially.

These commandments I found on the wiki seem to line up even more towards what we know of Predathos so far:

Personally? I think the lore about how Tharizdun is purely evil might be a narrative/opinion pushed by all the gods, because of course if it is actually Predathos and it eats divinity (and notably not the Elementals) they would absolutely see it as evil. But I don't think a hungry predator that has to eat to survive is inherently evil, but it is obviously dangerous with a lot of consequences for Exandria if let loose. The documents they found said it came from beyond the stars, so honestly the vibe I'm getting right now is a hungry beast sent ahead to clear out old divinity to make way for something new, like this "Epoch of Ends?" Is that just poetic language or a detailed plan/prophecy someone might know more about?

So on the one hand, I hope the party is able to stop what Ludinus is doing so a lot of people don't die...but on the other hand I love big d&d drama and would love to see a calamity 2.0 where some gods get chomped and Matt can shake up the system so we can see some new gods form, some mortals ascend or have old gods take new roles.

I hope we get some more ancient lore drops soon & I'm excited for tonight's episode :]

so according to the Genshin short A Song Burning in the Ashes Arlecchino's name is Peruere. seems awfully close to the Latin perurere which means "to burn up or through" or "to consume with fire". and given Arlecchino's association with fire and the House of the Hearth, I think the name is quite fitting

His jaw is set and his word is final, yet his crown sits crooked on his head and there’s dark intentions that linger behind his eyes. Deceiving, vicious, cruel. He calls himself a ruler but he cowers behind his guards like a shield. If I were you, I wouldn’t consider even trusting him for or about anything.

Gentle voice and hands as soft as a Mother’s touch, she was a regalia of perfection and formality. A sweet bliss and an easy life. But if only people knew what she did once the curtains close. Oh, if only they knew.

A mess of bright green and inky black, limbs and eyes, things I can’t quite put the words to. A creature of Hell itself, sentient but terrifyingly savage. Misunderstood isn’t a label it falls under anymore, and in my honest opinion it never was in the first place.

A demon with a voice of gold and a tongue of silver. A frightening elegance and a distressing grace. It knows what it wants, and what it wants it gets. Unhindered, ethereal. Blood on it’s clawed hands and roses in it’s razor teeth. Charming and terrifying. It’s like there’s two personalities behind those glowing eyes that somehow work in harmony with each other.

Her retreat is sanitary halls, buzzing lights, whirring machinery and chemicals that probably weren’t verified by any branch of official. But her choice comes with a price. Isolation, a sense of guilt. A life of work and strain and fatigue and more work and more work and more work and-

Innocence and wide eyes, he sees the world like a small child. Colours and shapes and simplicity. A comfortable, easy lie. Sure, he has his moments, anybody at his age would, but his persistence breeds progress. He’s sort of like a puppy, really.

She’s just so… pure. And warm. She’s like a safe haven, a place to feel welcomed and protected and wanted. Hair like a cherry blossom and eyes like the sky they grow below. Her voice is soft, reassuring, and reminds me of a cup of hot chocolate after a long day.

A heavy blade but a heart of gold, he’s a picture of romance and charisma. Natural charm, sleek and beautiful. What else could you want from a man? He’s a sweetheart really, very kind hearted. If they could there’d be a whole lot of people bowing at his feet. Not that he’d ever want that flattery.

Everything just feels so new to him. He doesn’t quite understand anything that’s happening and he feels lost. He just wants guidance, someone to hear his desperate cries for help, but there’s always no response. There’s never anybody there to help him, to hold his hand and show him what to do. He’s scared, and he’s fully accepted it at this point.

Those that were forgotten? Or otherwise discarded? Oh, don’t you worry about them. I’m sure you’ll find them somewhere else. They’re around. Most of them at least.

Altani is an excellent cook. They've been practicing their craft since childhood and nothing seems to surprise others more, especially after they taste one of their dishes.

Ryn can sing! She wouldn't describe her talent as anything special, but her voice always shocks people when they hear it.

sudden urge to talk about Rayan's origins in the context of how he became an oc so I'm just gonna do that-

way back when, Rayan was pretty much just one of my preferred names online. he was also once a Mandela Catalogue oc (/sona I guess?? he had a lot of features that are comparable to me in real life lmao-), which then turned him into an SCP oc along with a whole ass SCP au for him, which was when I was introduced to Wynter's (@paranoia-exe) wonderful oc, Vantè Ramirez. this progressed to giving him lore! he was originally just an employee at a record store, then I implemented the whole murderer ordeal, and so on and so forth!

(spoilers ahead for new lore I haven't talked about yet!)

of course, I think Iris, Harris, Oliver and Delia (fun fact: Delia was originally meant to be Rayan's sister at the start of his creation! of course that shifted into them just being friends during his TMC arc-) came first. then there was Madison, Carrie, along with Sage. I'm not sure the order of which the rest of them were included (for example: Dorian, who was based off of "Everyone's Dying (Grandma's Drunk Again)" by Roe Kapara, Ophelia who I think was based off of "Sex With A Ghost" by Teddy Hyde?? I dunno but she's revived now ig- along with Clyde, Kade, Zaden, Maclin, August (August was actually a placeholder oc for a concept with Rayan and Ryn Ramirez!! (another one of Wynter's amazing ocs)), Vivian, Rome, etc etc), but I do know that A'zhari (I've considered changing his name to something else but I don't know yet, so sorry ;w;) was the most recent oc I've made! Foster, Esrana, Ezra and Madir have all been ocs for a long time (other than the first two (somewhat??) because ykyk- Rayan's earlier stage of murdering innocent people 😌!! oh also he's immortal now lmao-

I once saw a twitter post suggesting that since Akivili would shapeshift, they would take on a form that played the “engineer” of the express and only the older nameless would know it was Akivili. With this in mind, when other characters visit the express and see Akivili, everyone would think that they're just another nameless. I’d love to watch their expressions as Himeko explains that that “engineer” was really the Aeon of Trailblaze.

to this day, I still the think my favorite crossover/collab Arknights has done is with Rainbow 6 Siege. because on the surface, you wouldn't think they'd fit very well -- Siege is a PvP team shooter, where Arknights is a single player tower defense. but I think story wise is where they fit a lot better than their gameplay would initially imply
