Look I’m not trying to be shady but you can’t convince me that Steven wasn’t the biggest driving force behind this lol. The podcasts make him sound like such a finance bro + he grew up wealthy. I remember his response to someone struggling financially was to “get another job and save money”. Even his Instagram post about this is wildly out of touch. “For those who won’t be joining us in the next chapter”. My guy I’m sure plenty of people would love to but you’ve made it inaccessible now.

Biography:

Ryan was one of the first to start gaining his powers under the Controller. While he has always been a gentle individual, he found the older he got the more fragile he felt, beginning to lose skills as he entered adulthood. These days he is extremely adept in his use of plant magic, able to grow and communicate with plants in any situation; even force them to grow through metres of concrete to aid him or conjure them from his own blood and flesh.  

His skill and competence is constantly brought in to question, however, much to his chagrin. His difficulties with taking care of himself, reading and controlling his emotions have led him to be considered the weakest of the Squad despite his strong abilities. Despite this he is a valued and beloved member of the team and will always come through when he is most needed.

One of the most resistant to the Controller's conditioning, Ryan has a hard time under the Purpose. His soft-hearted nature clashes with the violent reality of his situation and as a result he is very often burnt out, confused and anxious. His only solace is with his plants, which he conjures to keep him company in all situations.
