Ben's Big BL Blurb
I was traveling for a few weeks, and there's no way I'm doing individual posts for every show I've been watching, so here's my thoughts on all of the shows I'm currently enjoying, in the order I'm most enjoying them.
Twilight Out of Focus
Tumblr media
This show is fucking excellent. I'm not that keen on taking a break from our leads to see other couples, but I do like that BL continues to be the way that these guys are figuring out they're attracted to each other. Mao moving so smoothly into his boyfriend era, and knowing how he's feeling, has been excellent. I also really loved Hisashi knowing they needed to not be together all the time.
The Trainee
Tumblr media
Jane is so attractive, and I'm so happy for Off. This latest episode was a lot of fun to watch for Ryan, because it's nice seeing him be more actively engaged in things happening around him. Pai seems far more settled now that she knows she has a place. Pah is clearly still a mess. Tae seems like he's good at what he does. Ba-Mhee falling for Judy is NOT IDEAL, and Judy is over the line.
Overall, I'm actually interested in seeing them mirror interns crushing on their mentors with two different pairings as a point of comparison. I also like how every week feels like the work goals make sense.
The Miracle of Teddy Bear
Tumblr media
Besties, so much is happening in this show. There is daddy drama, wife drama, dead son drama, and so much more! These episodes are so long, but I'm really engaged with everything happening on this show. Job and Inn are really fucking good in this.
I Hear the Sunspot
Tumblr media
I'm so glad that Kohei made his feelings clear, and I'm enjoying seeing Taichi figure out how to respond to them. We once again had a camping trip that did not give me what I wanted, but I did like Kohei being clear that he's still interested in Taichi. Finally, I liked the little confirmations that Kohei is taking to sign, and that Taichi is interested in that journey.
Knock Knock, Boys!
Tumblr media
I'm so proud of Best! He has played Peak in this restrained way for so long, and it paid off in this most recent episode. I love that this story started with a gay man running from himself and his feelings, who then realizes that he can't run away from people who care about him anymore because they won't let him. I love that everyone being patient with him gave him what he needed to finally accept himself and say what he needed. I've really loved the way Thanwa tries to support Peak.
I'm also overjoyed for Almond and Latte, and I need them to fuck nasty before this show ends or I will be so disappointed. Latte is quietly one of my blorbos of the year with the way he is always clear about who he is and what he wants even as he is okay with where Almond is in the moment. They're an excellent pair.
Ayaka is in Love with Hiroko
Tumblr media
RISA IS OFF THE BESTIE LIST FOREVER! I will never forgive her for outing Hiroko to Ayaka just so she could ask Ayaka to choose her instead. Also, fuck those Bettys at the bar, who definitely know Hiroko's business, and that she's not out at work. Why talk about her to a stranger who called her senpai?? I'm relieved that Hiroko knows that Ayaka likes women now, and am curious how we move forward at this point.
I also need to know who this woman was who hurt Hiroko, because nothing makes me sadder than when we have to hide from other queers.
Mr. Mitsuya's Planned Feeding
Tumblr media
Thanks to @isaksbestpillow I was actually able to start this on my trip. I didn't want to start a show on a trip, but I could not resist. I really love that Ishida is in his late 20s and struggling with direction and purpose after his initial plan blew up in his face. I love that he's recognized so quickly that he's developed feelings for Mitsuya-sensei, and I love that Mitsuya-sensei is open about who he is. It's about goddamned time that we saw an age gap story of this kind, because so many meaningful relationships I've had are with gay men older than me.
Takara's Treasure
Tumblr media
This quiet little show makes me so happy every week. I just desperately need for Taishin to figure out what he's feeling, and for people to help him realize what he's feeling. Takara's my favorite kind of pretty boy: the ones who are obviously and poorly masking incredibly turmoil. I love that Taishin sees through this and wants to help Takara. Excited for him to get to take care of him when Takara gets sick.
Century of Love
Tumblr media
I've been having a lot of fun with this show, but episode 8 felt like a huge wobble. I love that San was so committed to Vee the whole time, but the back and forth about the stone was tedious. San giving up the stone as a way to signify that he was over the memory of Vad was nice, but we didn't reconcile Vee's theft and the emotional cost of that.
Love Sea
Tumblr media
MAHASAMUT!! WE FINALLY BEAT THAT NASTY OLD MAN'S ASS!! Mut trampling over a bullshit breakup and kicking Rak's dad's ass instead was so satisfying that it almost makes up for Mut having little identity outside of his relationship to Rake, or the terrible arc that Mook and Vie are having, over the last few weeks. I have been playing Stomp for the last few hours because I needed them to kick that man. Mut did not hit him enough.
New Shows
There's a bunch of stuff I have to sort out over the next few days. I'm not going back to My Love Mix Up TH, but I do plan to start 4 Minutes. There's also another J-BL in the grey I got some help finding called Sugar Dog Life.
Shout out to @lurkingshan for helping me watch a few things while I was gone, and also @twig-tea for keeping me apprised of which new shows I probably need to pick up.

I thought we saw clear growth in Ryan this episode, despite the mishaps. He’s still slow but he’s starting to get the job and the pace of it. His biggest hurdle is his struggle to assert himself and communicate, and his conversation with Jane at the end was a big step forward on that front. He’s getting more comfortable asking questions and thinking about who he wants to be at work, and Jane is giving him a great model.
And I really love that we saw that even someone as competent as Pie has a lot to learn. Her biggest hurdles are her arrogance and impatience; she has an overblown estimation of her own skills and readiness for the job. She caused a problem in this episode because she didn’t want to accept the job she was given. She had a real assignment and she did it well, but she was disrespectful of her colleagues and dismissive of the work when she said it wasn’t meaningful. She resented not getting the assignment she wanted and felt she should be allowed to do more, and so she inserted herself where she didn’t belong and made a mistake. I really hope she takes full accountability next week and learns from this.
And as all of this was happening, Jane continued to be an excellent boss. He handled every problem that came up, gave good directive guidance to Ryan, stepped in to defend him from the rude extra even though Ryan was making serious mistakes, listened when Ryan offered solutions, and took the blame with the client when Pie messed up the schedule. He understands that as the person in charge, he is ultimately the one accountable even if his juniors make the mistakes. He’s very good at his job.

You and Suguru have been best friends since high school.
Getting introduced to him by a certain, snow-haired, crystalline-eyed troublemaker in your first year at Jujutsu Tech had to have been the highlight of your life at the time.
He was in stark contrast to his other best friend, Satoru Gojo, but that may be why the two of you got along so well.
Gojo and Shoko joked around about how similar the two of you acted and that you should drop the 'best friend' facade and just date already.
Your tight-lipped presentation paired with Suguru's quiet reticence allowed the two of you to shrug off their suggestions fairly easily and keep it pushing.
All that began to change though once the four of you graduated high school and started college.
Gojo, with his lovable loud-mouthed self, continued his relentless teasing  of Suguru throughout the first two years of college. Shoko effectively took over with teasing you, but you continued to just laugh them off.
“Really, you two? If Sugu and I wanted to date each other, we could have done that ages ago! Since you’re both so invested in love, why don’t the two of you go on a date, huh?”
That shut them up pretty quick.
Thankfully, because you didn’t know how much more of their sad attempts at matchmaking you’d be able to handle.
—-
When the third year of university rolled around, there was a drastic change to you and Suguru's dynamic.
It started off innocent: late-night study sessions in the library that ended with you spending the night in his dorm room.
He didn't want you walking across campus to the women's dormitories in the dark by yourself (why didn't he offer to walk you?), so staying over with him was obviously the only option.
With the two of you having been friends for years, initially, there was no awkwardness; only warm, comfortable silences while the both of you studied together.
Suguru had decided to major in religious ministry and planned to pursue a Ph.D. in the subject once he finished his undergraduate studies. His logical and emotional intelligence are both above average, so you know that he'll excel in his chosen program.
With you always having had a love for science and medicine, much like Shoko, you opted to pursue a degree in biology with a pre-medicine concentration, though you haven't quite made your mind up about whether you'd rather pursue medical school or another type of graduate school.
No awkwardness, right?
That was true until one fateful night in his dorm room.
The two of you were studying, per usual, but something in the air seemed off. Finally, Suguru spoke up.
"You know, Y/N, I think that Satoru and Shoko are partially right."
You were nose-deep in an anatomy book before his smooth voice broke through the silence in the room.
"Huh, partially? About what?"
The book closed with a soft plunk and your e/c eyes were now focused on Suguru's face.
He looked pensive like he was trying to put his full thoughts into words before expressing them to you. His black square-framed glasses slipped down and rested on the bridge of his nose. You wanted to lean forward and push them back up.
"About us. How we should date or whatever."
"Oh, and what makes them right after what, nearly 6 years, now?" You asked in an amused tone.
Suguru chuckled softly and then began to rise from his black leather desk chair. His slipper-clad feet padded towards you until he was kneeling on his bed, his left knee situated right between your thighs.
"Su..?" You asked breathlessly as he steadily moved closer to you. His taller frame enclosed around you, like a massive tree hiding a small bird within its branches.
He leaned down until his cowlick was touching your forehead.
"Sugu.."
Then in the next moment he was kissing you.
He tasted exactly how you expected: like black tea and mint.
A startled gasp left your lips as he pressed his harder into yours, smearing your Chapstick.
With shaky hands, you carefully brought them to rest on his neck.
Suguru smirked against your lips, sucked your bottom one into his mouth and gave it a harsh suckle.
Suddenly, you were pushed onto your back with Suguru sitting up on his knees, your thighs on either side of his hips.
"Mmm, Su, wait…what's all this about?" You peered up at him through lidded eyes with mink lashes attached. Bottom lip red and swollen from his urgent kisses.
He swiped his tongue over his teeth, revealing the head of that sinful tiger eye tongue bar.
"I just want to…test a hypothesis if you will indulge me, pretty girl…"
You felt your face beginning to burn from bashfulness at his insinuations as well as the use of the scientific jargon.
He moved back so you could fully sit up.
"Okay, I'm listening."
"Well, I don't know if you've felt it, but there's an undeniable amount of chemistry and sexual tension between us."
"There is?" You made your face look surprised, your brows furrowing and your mouth contorting into a small "o"
Suguru rolled his dark onyx eyes at your obliviousness.
"I just had my tongue tickling your palatines while you reciprocated eagerly, yet you think there's no sexual tension there?"
You scoffed a laugh. "You have really got to stop reading my anatomy texts."
"But why? They're quite interesting." He smirked.
"Yeah, but quoting them while we're getting hot and heavy? So not sexy, Su."
He gripped your thigh, squeezing the fat of it through your spandex shorts before rubbing his hand down your leg to your pedicured foot.
Suguru massaged your toes gently, rubbing his rough palm over the sensitive soles; it felt so good, especially since you'd been up and down the campus all day, trying to locate your new classes for the semester.
A deep sigh/moan escaped your still-wet lips and you ran your tongue over them to savor the lingering flavor of Suguru's kiss.
He put both hands on your thighs and wrapped them around his lower back before continuing to massage your legs and feet.
"Huh, you like that, baby?" He asked with an air of arrogance in his tone,  eyes crinkling in mirth through his glasses as he stared down at you.
"Gosh, yes, Sugu. My feet were killing me. Thank you."
Suguru only chuckled softly before grabbing both your ankles and bringing your legs to rest on his shoulders, just to watch the expression on your face change from relaxed to surprised.
"Su!"
"Hmm, don't start screaming my name just yet, little one."
And that was the very first night that you two fucked.
—-
Throughout the rest of the year, that was how the two of you continued on.
Those late-night study sessions in Suguru's dorm room turned into late-night sex sessions.
He still gave you those foot massages followed by eating you out until your voice was hoarse from calling his name.
Whenever Suguru had a rough day in class, he'd text your phone and you'd know to immediately head to his room after your evening classes.
He'd waste no time grabbing your throat and pinning you against the small armoire, throwing one leg on his hip and slotting himself in between so you could feel his angry hard-on.
The one that only fucking you could satiate.
Or some days he'd come to your dorm to help you study for your lab exams and memorize organic molecule configurations.
He'd reward you for correct answers with long drags of his tongue through your folds and hard sucks on your clit while you gazed down at him from under your notebooks, hands trembling and slipping from the pages.
As the year dragged along, you found yourself falling deeper in, whatever this was, with Suguru.
You once asked him exactly what 'this' was and where the two of you were going and he simply replied:
"We're just having fun. No pressure, no labels."
So you left it at that.
Third year ended and now the two of you are finally seniors.
It's that midpoint between fall and winter, mid-November, and the holidays are fastly approaching.
Which for you means end-of-term lab exams.
Luckily, you and your lab partner are meeting up today to study for the organic chem lab.
You'd met him on your first day of the dreaded class, a credit required in order for you to graduate with all the prerequisites needed for med school.
At first glance, he seemed like someone who'd drop the class in the first couple weeks and change their entire major just like you'd seen many of your former classmates do.
As you got to know each other throughout the semester, you warmed up to him and grew a small crush on the intelligent male.
Intelligence, a trait that you quite admire in your men.
To be honest, he reminded you of Suguru a bit.
Suguru, who you haven't really talked to or hung out with since your little falling out at the end of third year.
You didn't know if you'd both silently agreed to break off your little arrangement or if you were just avoiding him.
Probably the latter.
It wasn't hard to do since you're both in different majors and have no classes in common; you can just write it off as you being extremely busy, which isn't actually a lie.
Continuing on to your dorm room after last class, you made yourself some instant ramen in your microwave before you started getting dressed for your lab review session.
You sit at your little vanity table to do your makeup. Soft, pastel eyeshadow to compliment your beautiful e/c eyes and to match the pastel-colored cardigan laid across your bed.
Despite the chilly weather outside, you opted to dress cute in your cardigan with a white turtleneck sweater underneath, black leather miniskirt, white thigh-high thick socks, and black Mary-Jane style slanted wedge heels.
Your fashion sense often earns you many sneers from your peers and questioning looks from your professors, but ask if you give a fuck.
To top off your look, you added some dainty silver jewelry before grabbing your bags and leaving for the chemistry building.
—-
Suguru sighed and stuck his phone back into his pants pocket.
He's a coward.
He can't even bring himself to click on your contact name to draft a simple
'can we talk?' text.
The biting cold in the air made him hurry along to the campus coffee shop where Satoru had asked to meet him.
—-
I was hopin' you'd notice
The way that I like to have you around
Around, yeah
Listen and you will find that your heart beats for me
Girl, I hear the sound, and it only gets better
It started off with a kiss (uh huh)
Never expectin' this (uh huh)
And now I'm here copin' with
My addiction, addiction
—-
The little bell over the door jingled and Satoru's snow-white head shot up from where he was almost asleep (and drooling) on his class notes.
"About time you got here! I was beginning to think you'd stood me up!" He perked right up and swiped his sleeve over his mouth, putting on a bright smile.
Suguru just sighed and pulled back the wooden chair before plopping unceremoniously down into it. His backpack clunked to the floor.
"What's wrong with you? I mean aside from your usual aloof asshole tendencies. Something is actually going on, I can feel it." The blue-eyed male asked in concern.
"Nothing is wrong, Satoru. I'm just tired and stressed about midterms, graduation, and a whole lot of other shit."
Like you.
He didn't mean to hurt your feelings or make you feel unimportant when he said that the two of you were just having fun.
'What a fucking idiot I am. Of course no girl worth her salt wants to hear that she's just a nutty buddy.'
He lamented in his head before slamming it into the table. He groaned when the elastic keeping his hair in a bun snapped, covering his face completely in inky, blue-black locks.
Surprisingly, his glasses didn't break.
"Oh damn, that bad, huh?" Satoru asked. "Hey, can I get a triple shot of espresso on that frappe, please! I think you're gonna need it to get through the rest of the day." He murmured as the waitress walked over.
—-
And Satoru was right. He did need that coffee to make it through his last few classes, but he still felt like shit and now he was wired and not to mention completely pent up and horny.
After you two fell out, Suguru fell into a pit of despair. You stopped talking to him, studying with him, and even stopped responding to his texts.
Of course he missed hiking your legs up and eating you out, fucking you on every surface in his room, and then making you take his cumshots all over your makeup, but honestly right now…
He just missed your presence in his life.
To pour even more salt in his wounds, his two other best friends had begun dating people on campus, which often made him the fifth wheel when it came to hangouts.
Usually, Satoru would always have Shoko attached to his hip and Suguru would have you, but now that was all  over because of his wreckless choice of words.
"Fuck!"
He kicked one of the flimsy metal chairs outside of the library over with the toe of his boot causing some freshmen students to give him frightened looks.
"Got something to say?"
They shook their heads.
"Thought so."
He hoisted his backpack up higher on his shoulders so he could begin his trek across campus to get to the warmth of his dorm room when he saw you moving quite urgently towards the chemistry building.
He knew that you were likely heading to prepare for one of your lab exams, but the outfit that you had on alluded to this being much more than just a casual meet-up to study.
Oh no, with the way that skirt was gripping your hips and just barely covering your ass, you had to be meeting up with someone special.
And the fact of knowing that it isn't him lit his entire soul on fire.
"Oh, hell no."
So he followed you.
—-
There's always that one person
That will always have your heart
You'll never see it comin'
'Cause you're blinded from the start
Know that you're that one for me
It's clear for everyone to see
Ooo baby…
You will always be my boo…
—-
You hummed softly to yourself as your heels clicked along the tiled hallway floor of your least-favorite building on campus.
Your partner had texted you to let you know that he'd be running late, as he had a test to make up that he'd forgotten about.
That made you roll your eyes, but nevertheless you carried on to the empty lab room so you could start studying by yourself.
Once inside, you set up your materials on the desk and began to work.
After only a few minutes of you working, you heard the door to the lab room creak open.
Thinking it was your partner finally having finished up, you lifted your head with a smile only for it to drop once you saw Suguru's tall frame lingering there at the door like a nervous ghost.
"What are you doing here?"
He froze at the ice in your tone; yep, you're definitely still mad.
Almost shyly, he moved into the room, making sure that he shut the heavy door behind himself. It closed with an echoing 'boom'.
"What, am I not allowed within twenty feet of you now? Did you file a restraining order on me, too?" He bit with more than a hint of sarcasm.
"Very funny, Suguru. So what-
“Suguru?” He cut in.
You never called him Suguru. Only 'Sugu' or 'Su'. Never Suguru.
You looked up as he began stalking towards you, the thud of his boots much louder in your ears than they should have been.
He now hovered over you, a mean and irritated look plastered across his normally cool, stoic features.
(a/n: the pic in the banner is how he's looking at you🙈)
You only continued with your original thought, though your tone was a bit less sassy now.
"So you came here in search of me because why? Couldn't get your nut off by yourself?" You sneered, making his jaw tense.
A large hand slammed down on the table, making you flinch.
"Stop with the attitude, Y/N. I'm already fucking pissed."
Now you were confused because, who is he talking to?
"Okay and what does that have to do with me, Suguru? You-"
His other hand gripped the wide collar of your cardigan and pulled you up out of the chair you were seated in.
Your face smashed against his chest and you were engulfed in the deep scent of his woodsy cologne.  He pushed you back slightly to examine your face up close.
"Stop calling me that."
"Your name?"
He gazed down at you with his black eyes hardened.
They slowly roamed over your body, taking you in as a whole since he hasn't seen you up close in so long.
“So you wore this for him?”
"Him?" You put a hand on his chest and he allowed you to push him back so you could have space.
His eyes shifted from your face to your thigh-highs.
"Your boyfriend. The one you're waiting here for."
Is this really happening right now? It couldn't be.
Shaking your head with a chuckle, you regarded Suguru with an incredulous look.
"My boyfriend, oh right, you mean my chemistry lab partner."
You crossed your arms underneath your bust and his breath hitched as the movement caused your breasts to shift upwards and strain against the material.
"If that's what you want to call it, you don't have to hide it from me." He shrugged and stuck his hands in the pockets of his black jeans.
“Well don’t let me interrupt your little date.”
“It’s not a date, Suguru, we’re just studying for our lab exam. He is my lab partner, after all. We've worked together for this entire semester."
His jaw clenched. So this guy had been around you and not only within school grounds, most likely.
In a split second, you were flying backwards, with your back rubbing against the cold surface of the lab table.
Suguru was back between your legs, the position mirroring the one from your first ever sexual encounter last school year.
"You let him fuck you?" He asked with a hard edge to his voice.
"W-what?"
"You heard me, Y/N. Did you give him a taste of what belongs to me?"
He lowered himself to a kneeling position right between your spread thighs.
"Knees up."
Immediately, you complied, making Suguru smile and show all of his perfectly straight white teeth. He then grabbed hold to the sides of your panties and began shimmying them down ever so slowly.
"My favorite panties, too. What a shame; you're really showing out now, aren't you, darling? Trying to get daddy's attention?"
You pressed your lips together causing him to click his tongue in annoyance.
"Huh, you want my attention, so you parade yourself around campus dressed like how you are? Answer me."
He spanked your pussy hard with the back of his hand, making your back arch off the table.
"Suguru, please!"
"I said to stop fucking calling me that. Now lay your ass back down."
You obeyed but your lower lip quivered just slightly. He was mad and when Suguru was mad and sexually frustrated, you knew it wouldn't be a short night for you.
"I'm going to ask you again, Y/N. Did you let him fuck?"
You quickly shook your head side to side.
"But you wanted to, right? You were going to, right? Answer right now or I'll leave you here with a wet cunt and no orgasm."
"No, Su, I promise. We're just partners, I swear!"
"Hmm, lying slut…" He murmured, eyes transfixed on how your pussy lips were sucking in the damp material of your underwear. He was ecstatic that you had stopped calling him Suguru, though.
With two fingers, he hooked them under your panties, right on top of your mound. The backs of his knuckles scraped against your throbbing clit, causing your left knee to shake.
"Such a sensitive bitch, you've got to be telling the truth then, because you only tremble like this when you're needy. Right, baby?"
You whimpered out a weak 'yes' and 'please'
—-
Lil' mama, I know what you want
Begging me to beat it
Like the bass in my trunk
I'm a lil' nasty, I ain't even gotta front
Lick you from your head
Down down to your butt
—-
Suguru decided to finally indulge you, but first he ripped your panties off in one swift movement, fully exposing you to his greedy eyes.
He spat a thick, wet glob of saliva onto your pussy, the sound making your face warm with shame.
"You don't have to act so shy, love. I know I'm the only one who knows how to eat this shit just the way you like it."
His long fingers slid through your folds, collecting your creamy, translucent cum on them.
He scissored his fingers apart, watching the strings stretch but never break.
"Fuck."
His dick is as hard as a brick, but he'll take care of that in a minute.
Next, his mouth was completely covering the bottom of your cunt while those two fingers worked your clit, rubbing your mess back and forth over the pulsating bud.
The ball of his tongue ring poked at your asshole periodically as he ate you out and you clenched everytime, fearing that he'd stick it in.
French-polished nails reached for his hair and Suguru, whose eyes never left yours, grabbed your hand with his free one to tangle yours in his navy blue locks.
"Su! Su! Su!" You chanted like a cheer, cheering him on as he ate your pussy so sloppily and made a mess of you and the table.
Juices leaked down your legs and his chin from his combined saliva, your slick, and your cum from the multiple times that he had you squirting, just from his tongue and two fingers.
He could eat you out like this for hours, but he doubted he'd have that much time before someone discovered the two of you.
Rising back to his full height, Suguru looked down at you and admired the shaking, wet mess that you'd become.
You were covered from your lower abdomen down to your knees in a mixture of your own squirt, cum, and his saliva. Even your socks were soaked and now sticking to your skin.
He never thought you looked more beautiful.
"Su…" You whined up at him, body growing cold from the waist down and aching to have him fill you up and make you warm.
"What, bitch? Want my dick now? You think you've earned it after ignoring me for damn near the whole semester?"
Your eyes drooped sadly and he stopped, cursing himself for not knowing when enough was enough.
"No, no, no…I'm sorry, baby…look, listen to me. I…"
"I'm sorry, Sugu. I'm sorry for ignoring you instead of just coming out and telling you how I really felt."
He stopped completely then and rested his hands on your hips, right above the top of your skirt and massaged small circles into the pudge that poked out there.
Dark, slanted eyes locked onto your e/c ones to let you know that you had his full attention.
—-
I was in love with you when we were younger, you were mine (my boo)
And I see it from time to time
I still feel like (my boo)
And I can see it no matter how I try to hide (my boo)
And even though there's another man Who's in my life, you will always be my boo
My oh, my oh
My oh, my oh, my
My boo
My oh, my oh
My oh, my oh
My boo
—-
"I knew the moment you kissed my lips in your room that day. That you were the one I could put my entire trust in and spend the rest of my life with. There's no one that I trust to have my heart more than you, Sugu. I love you."
Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck.
He fucked up.
'I fucked up'
"I fucked up." He finally said out loud. Your eyes raised to meet his again.
"I fucked everything up when I said that stupid shit that I said."
You wrapped your arms around his neck while he stood between your legs.
"Every day that I couldn't be around you was fucking hell. You consumed nearly every waking thought. School, hanging with friends, work; hell, even jacking off became torturous knowing that I wouldn't be hearing from you throughout any part of my day."
He chuckled lowly.
"Do you forgive me, baby? You have nothing to apologize for here, and I love you, too.."
You nodded slowly and he pressed his forehead against yours before tilting his head to capture your lips in his.
The tangy taste of your cum covered your taste buds as Suguru began exploring every inch of your mouth with his expert tongue.
His tongue bar clinked against your teeth ever so slightly with his rushed and hasty movements; it was like he was trying to savor every bit of that sweet confession that you'd just spoken to him.
"Mmm, Sugu…" You breathed once he parted for air.
His hands moved to your waist and he flipped you over, pressing you back into the table with both of your wrists trapped in one of his strong hands.
The sight of that tight, black leather hiked up over your ass cheeks had him in a frenzy to undo his belt and drop his pants.
Once his cock was free, he tapped the leaking head on both cheeks.
He couldn't help himself, he just had to ask:
"Whose pussy is this?"
Your reply was immediate:
"I-It's yours, Sugu'..f-fuck! Please put it in!"
"Hmm, not good enough. Fucking convince me."
Even though he said that, he was already sliding his thick ass dickhead between the messy folds of your cunt.
"Please, Su…it's yours, baby, all yours. Please fuck me."
"Shit…!" He almost collapsed on top of you and sent the whole table crashing to the ground.
You let out a collective moan when he finally slid in, sheathing his dick deep inside you.
Grabbing your hair and twisting it around his hand, he pulled you up into a perfect arch with your ass flush against his thighs.
"Again. Whose is it?"
—-
Slide in that thang, real deep game
Bust it so good, girl, what's my name?
Hit it from the back, headboard swag
When I talk shit, shawty answer right back
I be on her like:
Who booty is it?
Who booty is it?
Who booty, who booty, who booty is it?
Who booty is it?
Who booty is it?
Who booty, who booty, who booty is it?
—-
Usually Suguru was a rough, fast thruster, but right now he had you confused because he'd start out with a few quick hard thrusts that had you face-planting into the table, then he'd switch it up and slow grind you, pressing his hips so far into your backside that you'd have imprints of his hip bones.
"Su…S-s-u…SU! Fuck fuck fuckkkk!" You screeched while your nails scratched the surface of the table that was sliding back and forth but hadn't broken down.
He only thrusted harder and faster. It wouldn't be long before he came all over that dirty pussy.
“Sturdy ass table.” He chuckled. “Perfect for whores like you to get fucked on.” A groan from deep within his chest emerged as his thighs shook.
"I'm…fuck…I'm going to ask you one last time, Y/N. Whose. Fucking. Pussy. Is. It. Y/N?"
Each word was punctuated with a deep, brutal thrust.
Your breasts were sore from being pushed so hard against the cold surface of the table and your thighs sticky and wet from Suguru eating you out.
"I- GOD, I…y-yours!" You managed before your orgasm took over.
It was so strong you almost blacked out, no doubt the strongest one you'd ever had thus far.
But Suguru wasn't quite done yet.
He pulled out and slapped your ass hard with his palm while the other fisted his dick furiously.
"Turn over. Open your legs for me, wide, like a slut. There you go."
He came with a shattered groan, ropes of white hot cum splattering against your already bruised and messy folds.
When his balls were completely empty and you were covered in white, he scooped some onto his fingers and brought them up to your lips.
"Suck."
You sucked.
"Good fucking girl, fucking slut. Whore." He attached his mouth to yours and dipped his tongue in to taste your sweetness combined with his essence.
You both made out sloppily, swapping cum until he pulled back and spat the snowballed cum back into your mouth followed by patting your cheek lovingly.
"Now swallow."
And you swallowed.
With a deep sigh and a satisfied smile displayed over his handsome features, he began searching the room for paper towels to clean the two of you up.
Once you'd gotten your bearings, you locked the door behind yourselves.
Suguru pulled you into his chest and kissed the top of your head.
"I wonder what happened to my partner? I guess I got stood up after all!"
The man beside you couldn't resist rolling his eyes and then answering in a smug tone.
"Or, he heard you screaming my name from all the way down the hallway and decided to just fuck off." He snorted.
You giggled and elbowed his side, but he was dead serious.
"No, really, baby. I saw him peek through the window on the door when I was giving you backshots. The look on his face was fucking priceless." You gasped.
"Sugu, you didn't!" He only laughed harder.
"I mean, really. I didn't even have to ask who it belongs to. Lucky for you that I showed up, or you could've started dating that guy and been screaming out SU everytime he fucked you."

I am SO very proud of my people.
Yeah, this is long but these thoughts hit me hard this morning and I gotta let it out.
Tumblr media
Angela Bassett did it. When I first saw the throne room scene where she stripped Okoye of her titles, I knew she was giving us an award-winning performance. Some will see this end result of her claiming her Golden Globe as black excellence...and it is. But black excellence is displayed by the hard work and commitment that began 2+ years ago when a heartbroken cast and crew worked through the devastation of losing Chadwick. That is who my people are...we persevere. The excellence is in creators and artists who dig deep to build worlds that ring true on the screen. So that those communities who are starving for true representation can take pride in what they are consuming; instead of feeding us the same old caricatures that some think should satisfy the call for inclusion and representation.
I think about the brilliance of Ryan Coogler. How he puts in the work, how he listens, how he INCORPORATES the feedback he receives, how he is a true CO-LLAB-O-RA-TOR. He didn't create the Talokanil salute, others did. But some would have brushed it aside because it wasn't their idea. He listened when Tenoch told him he didn't look Mayan and took the time to incorporate Tenoch's heritage into his script (we need that extended cut, y'all!). And I think about how during the filming of this very production, Ryan was subjected to racial profiling when he attempted to withdraw money from his own bank account. Cops called out and handcuffed (don’t get me started). Still, they continued. Through a pandemic, they stayed on course. Through Letitia's injury, they plowed through. THAT IS BLACK EXCELLENCE AND THAT IS WHAT WE DO.
Movies like this hit different for POC... they just do. On some level, they go beyond entertainment for us. Someone who has not suffered the exhaustion of getting beat up by society just for existing may not understand. It is a fucking breath of fresh air to look up at the screen and see cultures that have been shit upon--and in some cases exterminated--presented with the utmost respect. We hold them high as banners of pride. We don't want to go to the movies only to get beat up again by images that only denegrate vs uplifting our people.
I love the MCU. I've been there since the first available screening of IRON MAN. Can't tell you how many midnight showings I've attended. I'd be lying if I said it didn't feel a little (ok, a lot) more special that the first major acting award for an MCU film was from the BLACK PANTHER franchise.
Wakanda Forever! Líik'ik Talokan!

Aran Ryan Headcanons
Aran Ryan doesn’t think he’s any good with magic and sees himself as just particularly lucky. However, he is actually unconsciously using magic to subtly alter reality around him to his favor. He just believes he has the “Luck of the Irish” on his side. As such, Aran is extremely superstitious since he views the effects of his magic as just luck.
If he says to you “good luck”, he actually wants you to fail and is trying to jinx you. “Break a leg” is how he actually wishes luck.
Even if he can get up earlier, Aran will always try to get up at the count of seven.
When he punches with loaded gloves, he does his best to not turn the horseshoes upside down when possible.
Every little thing can be an omen to him. Glass Joe was KO’d during round two rather than round one? Today’s his lucky day! A cloud in the sky is shaped weirdly? Aran needs to be careful of his surroundings. To other people, what signals good and bad luck seem completely arbitrary.
Aran was born and raised by the sea, with his father being a fisherman and his mother a fishwife. He even worked on the docks ever since he was a lil’ lad.
He knows his way around knots and even snuck a monkey’s fist into his flail among other things.
While Aran's built quite some strength from working at the docks, his little sister built quite the silver tongue from helping her mother at the fish market. She could cheat the devil himself using just her words. Ever the swindler, that clever lil' lass.
He tends to give nicknames to people he likes. For example, Soda is “Pops”. Macho Man is “Machie”. Sandman is “Sandy”, but that’s prevalent among other boxers too. Though, Aran also uses nicknames just to annoy people. Von Kaiser is especially incensed by “Ol’ Geezer”.
He may be woefully below weight class compared to the other World Circuit boxers, but Aran makes up for it with his excellent fight IQ. Despite his external wild and spastic behavior, he is internally quite analytical when it comes to combat. Aran’s just beaten out in the raw power department.
Aran’s hands are constantly wrapped in bandages due to his penchant for punching with metal horseshoes. He’s gotten better at avoiding bruised and broken knuckles, but it still happens with how erratically he fights. The other boxers don’t remember what Aran’s palms look like.
When boxing, he wraps his hands with tape in addition to bandages to cushion his hands. Now gotta add improper hand wrapping to the infractions list.
The reason why Aran is still in the WVBA despite being a blatant and frequent cheater is because viewership skyrockets when his matches are broadcasted. Most people want to see him get his comeuppance, so they tune in. A small portion of the audience watches to see what kind of new tricks he will pull. Aran Ryan is the heel and he knows it, and he doesn’t care. He’s good at entertaining the crowd and giving them a villain they love to hate.
Wii Aran and SPO Aran are the same person to me. He was a rule-abiding boxer back in the SPO days, but quickly got bored of fighting fairly when all his competitors were cheating with their unique gimmicks. So, Aran gave cheating a try one day and never went back. He was already good at boxing, as such it became wayyyyy more fun to think of new ways to cheat and see how much the WVBA will tolerate.
This has also made him much more popular (or infamous) in the eyes of the audience. No one really noticed him before.
He doesn’t even see his fair-fighting past self and cheating current self as the same person anymore. He gets visibly annoyed when people bring up “that bloke from Branch B”. That Aran was dead the moment he threw his first punch with loaded gloves.
He made his progress up the ranks and into the World Circuit when he still fought fairly. Ever since he started cheating, Aran hasn’t really tried to keep moving up in rank and just defends his place. Part of it is that he has way too much fun continuously stomping on Don Flamenco’s pathetic attempts to take his spot.

Thoughts on The Trainee ep10
I wrote a separate post focusing on the Ba Mhee & Tae relationship here, but wanted to talk a bit about everything else going on in this episode that I loved as well.
One of the things I love the most about this show is how it holds nuance, and another is how all of the interns get an arc. And in this episode we got to see Pah, who mostly has been shown as a screw-up this episode for being too friendly and chatty and not focused enough on work, and who has been getting the interns in trouble with his plots, finally was able to use his friendliness and plot for good! The things that are Pah's weaknesses are also his strengths and make him a great colleague. And he's already learned from last episode to take things more seriously, so I'm glad he got to show off this week.
Tumblr media
Speaking of the other interns and their arcs, I loved how we got to see Pai casually chatting with her coworkers this episode. She's learned the importance of fostering friendships at work and being collegial not just competent, and I really loved seeing that payoff with others and not just the core intern group!
Turning to the protagonist of the intern group, I loved Ryan's conversation with Jane about his dreams and how they aren't grandiose, and he's embarrassed by them. I related to this a lot; I've never really wanted to accomplish anything in particular myself, or been very ambitious, but I love helping the people around me accomplish their goals. It's what I'm good at and it gives me so much fulfilment to see other people succeed. This is what made me a good editor, and it's what makes me a good project manager and people manager now. We have seen from episode one that Ryan is a great helper and excellent at noticing what needs doing and making sure it's done, once he has the experience. And I love that he hadn't recognized that skill in himself or noticed that it was fulfilling for him. He had noticed how much he enjoyed preparing customer files, likely because the feedback was immediate and positive, but he clearly gets satisfaction from quietly making sure everything is in place for his family's print shop to run smoothly too. It was difficult for him as an intern in a new space with no understanding of how anything works. But in just a couple of months he's learned to anticipate some of the needs on his own, and he's starting to recognize his own passion. I love this arc for him. We've also seen his interpersonal skills, and how he's often terrible and freezes when directly confronted, but he is also great at noticing when people are down and asking questions that are tactful and work-focused rather than personal, to give the other person a chance to interact that isn't too fraught. We've seen him check in on Pie, Tae, and Pah this way. I keep thinking about how Jane's refrain to him is "if you want to know, ask", and how I can't wait to see Ryan get to that point.
Tumblr media
Speaking of Jane, he continues to be walking a careful line and the way he is smiling more because of this crush is really lovely to see. Jane started the show so frustrated with his colleagues and wary of Ryan's disinterest, but he was quick to see Ryan's potential and encourage him, and we soon saw him defend and uplift Pai in a way that made it clear he was a great mentor and not what his colleagues said about him. It's interesting to see him start to cross the same boundaries that Judy crossed with Ba Mhee, but in a very different order and in very different circumstances. I do really love that the show is able to illustrate how the same behaviour can be appropriate or inappropriate, dependent on context. And I love that Jane is waiting for this internship to play out before they do anything more than hug and flirt a little.
Tumblr media
Judy is still my only current frustration because I don't really understand her motivations--why tell Ba Mhee she knew she was uninterested if she was then going to pursue her? Why is she suddenly not good at things we know she is good at because of her job (e.g. noticing what Ba Mhee likes and doesn't like and doing things to annoy rather than help her). I am still hopeful we will get this missing piece in coming episodes.
Speaking of; just to put it into the universe, here is my wish list for the last two episodes:
Ryan asks Jane a question directly [preferably he asks him out, but I'll take him asking about his feelings or what's next for them or something on those lines]
Judy insight [preferably via a Judy/Jane conversation but I will take any insight I can get]
Jane getting some appreciation from his coworkers or leaving to start his own production house
Ba Mhee fully owning some of her stuff from her first relationship with Tae, if not stated outright then at least demonstrated via differences in her behavior, including her having other interests during their second attempt
I don't need much time spent on this one but seeing Pah take work stuff seriously in a similar way to how we saw Pie casually being friendly in this ep (just to underscore that he's really taken the lesson on board) would be great
I would also love a final glimpse of Ryan's sister doing well (especially if we do get a time skip)
Just for thirsting purposes, I would also love a little more time with the cute art department guy!
Tumblr media
[I am talking about back left with the arm tattoo, the one who told off the guy who was being gross with Pai and Ba Mhee, and who carried Tae on his back, hello my beloved]

BEHOLD, MORE ENA OCS
I was rewatching the Dream BBQ announcement trailer when I noticed one of the spinning ENAs had the exact same colors as ThEna, just swapped, so I got the idea of making ENA OCs based on the other ENAs seen.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Here are my first three, the spooky siblings (based on color scheme), Enette, Enalise, and RegEna (left to right). I created GEna to complete the trifecta lol
Tumblr media
Individuals + their "serial numbers"
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Extra Info:
This group of sibs work with the ENA seen in Dream BBQ, under Froggy. They're pretty much the closest things she has to friends in her workplace, and they enjoy her company (GEna doesn't show it much tho)
Enatte (ENA-8532-01):
Orange - Efficient; the oldest ENA of any batch is expected to excel and be an example for their sibs, but this was driven into 01 more, as her batch was the first completely functional trio of ENAs that were created for a while. Unlike her sisters, 01 fully enjoys her job, even respecting Froggy a great amount. Her voice headcannon is Ben Balmaceda (specifically Kaveh from Genshin Impact, mostly just Ben himself).
Saffron - Mischievous; after years of conditioning to be a golden example for all Worker ENAs, her desires to be free and do what she enjoys culminated in her troublemaker side, which 01 does a good job repressing until she's off from work. The most important thing her siblings know about this side is that she usually goes along with what shenanigans they do. Her voice headcannon is Brianna Knickerbocker (specifically Hu Tao from Genshin Impact).
RegEna [GEna] (ENA-8532-02)
Purple - Haughty; she loves her older sister, she really does. But 02 hates how seriously she expects them to take this stupid job. Before they matured, 02 was known for her mean streak, often taking out her frustrations of the world on younger ENAs that were unfortunate to come her way. It wasn't until she accidentally hurt her younger sister that she started calming down. Now, she just a normal asshole. Her voice headcannon is Ryan Sean O’Donohue (specifically Demyx from Kingdom Hearts).
Orange - Guilty; when the sibs were assigned to work under Froggy, 02's siblings noticed that her other side became more downcast and self-deprecating, bursting into tears and continually apologizing for how she acts when her dominant side is in control, especially to 03. The youngest ENA in question does not know how to feel about this. Her voice headcannon is Erica Mendez (specifically White Lily Cookie from Cookie Run: Kingdom).
Enalise [Lisa] (ENA-8532-03)
Saffron - Thoughtful; unlike her older sisters, who either love or detest their job, 03 usually doesn't pay any mind to it, and does an average job. She actually is drawn to the oddness of the world around her, what secrets they hold, why things work like they do. She can't help but feel envious of Scholar ENAs since they have the access and knowledge 03 so desperately wants. Her voice headcannon is Khoi Dao (specifically Albedo from Genshin Impact).
Purple - Judgemental; experiencing 02's behavior before their full maturity shaped 03's annoyance into a need to reprimand everything she does and to communicate what 02's problem is in her own way, thus her snappy, but kind of well-meaning side. 03 is less shameful of this side than others think she should be, as the youngest ENA believes that "she was made the way she was, and she's going to let what emotions slip through happen." Her voice headcannon is Brittney Karbowski (specifically Mio from Ghost Stories Dub).
Next is Enaline, based on the ENA in the second picture on the right!
Tumblr media
Alt. Outfit + her old Worker look
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Extra Info:
Created as a Worker ENA, Enaline would become a Runaway after her other sibs went "missing under mysterious circumstances" and she "saw something she shouldn't have", as she puts it. Not much is known about her past other than this, as she soon becomes unresponsive after giving up too much information. She's mostly seen hanging out in the Karaoke Bar AthEna (ThEna) works at, and is very social, depending on which side is dominant.
Enaline (ENA-7450-03)
Sky Blue - Carefree; after experiencing The Horrors™, Enaline decides that she won't let her past and regrets tie her down, so she up and leaves the Sector she grew up in and ended up settling in the area overseen by The Clown. She is very jovial in this state, being more of an 'act first think about the consequences later' kind of ENA. Her voice headcannon is Kieran Regan (specifically Shikanoin Heizou from Genshin Impact).
Salmon - Existential; despite her attempts, Enaline can never fully leave behind the cause of her upturned life, and when she thinks about that, she becomes unpleasant (at least that's what she thinks). The former Worker feels a constant dread tugging at her in this state, something she can't remedy no matter what she does. All Enaline can do is not think about all of that while she's Carefree, and everything will be fine! Her voice headcannon is Monica Rial (specifically Momoko Koigakubo from Ghost Stories Dub).

People who complain that we not have others fantasy shows like the first 4 seasons of GOT (even if they were generally good adaptations, in terms of adaptation of the magical aspect in the show itself was minimal, and I don't understand the problem with directors of fantasy productions who always try, if they can, to minimize the fantasy / magical aspect of the base work... Why adapt from fantasy if you have a problem with the magical elements ? It's ridiculous...) well actually the thing is that there are plenty of literary stories as good as GRRM's ASOIAF saga, even better !
Except that either the directors didn't get their hands on it, or they did and... adapted it any way they wanted.
The Witcher is a perfect example. The books make for an excellent fantasy saga, but its adaptation is absolutely slammed into the ground.
It's the same with rings of power. Tolkien's universe has tons of stories that could be adapted, but instead the directors went with fanfiction (and poorly done one at that).
And I don't understand why these people aren't able to properly adapt the nuggets they find.
Even at the youth level, we saw the disaster of the attempted adaptations of Eragon and The Wardstone Chronicles.
It's still crazy.
The problem once again is those who try to adapt fantasy works. They either don't seem to like them, or think they're doing better by the original author, or both. And it's frankly tiring.
House of the Dragon itself is a show that ends up being more of a Fire and Blood fanfiction than an adaptation. Borderline a parody at this point.
And I don't understand people who praise this show as an example of good adaptation or good fantasy.
I mean... you saw what Ryan Condal said as bullshit to explain that the Targaryens don't have purple eyes in HOTD beyond simple technical problems that he should have just stuck to instead of continuing to open your mouth ?
Once again, why adapt fantasy by people who don't like its elements ?
It's stupid.
In addition, it also has almost all the flaws of the rings of power, and of the seasons of GOT after the first 4.
The fact is that I drifted. But the main point being, there are plenty of excellent fantasy stories out there. The problem is that they haven't yet been discovered by people working in the field, or when they have them on hand, they adapt them haphazardly.
And sorry, but so far, I haven't seen any fantasy adaptations that could really be described as good (except the trilogy LOTR by Peter Jackson, His Dark Materials - not perfect but still pretty good -, and Arcane for now... of course)

(gif by me)
Pairing : Ted Logan x reader
Summary : Just like every Monday, you study History with Bill and Ted. But during this lesson, Ted seems to be quite distracted, and you're not helping at all.
Warnings : none ! just a fluffy fic w/ Ted ! with some footsie under the table. Also tried to make it G/N reader ;)
A/N : I really like the idea of a reader who's a History nerd (kind of self indulgent there) and who helps them study so, yeah! that again for this fic<3
⋆。゚☁︎。⋆。 ゚☾ ゚。⋆⋆。゚☁︎。⋆。 ゚☾ ゚。⋆⋆。゚☁︎。⋆。 ゚☾
Just like any other Monday afternoon, I was in the library studying with my two best friends, Bill and Ted. We always had trouble with school, not being very scholar people. But if there was one subject I'm good at, it's History ! I always found myself fascinated by it; mostly only watching period shows, movies, losing myself in period novels and loving to learn some random facts about History. Sadly, it wasn't the same for my two dear friends who were the complete opposite...No matter how hard they tried, they could not seem to learn a single fact correctly. I made it my personal mission to help them as best as I could, no matter how long it took. That's how "the excellent Monday studying day" came to exist !
As I was going through the history textbook with Bill, trying to choose a subject, I couldn't help but notice Ted staring at me.
"Need help ?" I asked, still looking at the pages. "Ted ?"
"Uh ?" He jumped slightly before rubbing the back of his neck. "Oh no no, still reading about that French girl !"
My brows furrowed slightly. "Which one ?" I looked up at him, right when he looked away.
"You know, the fighting one..."
"Joan of Arc ?" I asked, giggling slightly while Bill chose a page.
"Yup. That one." He let his hair fall in front of his face. "She's very..."
"Fighting dudes in skirts !" Bill exclaims, cutting Ted off. "They look so cool !"
"They're called Gladiator's." I laugh quietly, putting the textbook in front of both of us. "You want us to study ancient Rome today ?"
"Is that the one with the salad dressing dude, right ?" He ask, smiling at me proudly.
"Yup, that's the one." I smile back. "You ok with studying this Ted, or you'll do something else ?"
"Oh yeah no, salad dressing dude is fine !"
"Perfect then !" I clap my hands, straightening my back. "Let's get started then."
As the hour passed, Bill was as serious as ever, which really impressed me. I don't know what's so fascinating to him about gladiators but he seems to love it ! Ted was a whole other story; he was constantly making jokes and staring at me, always looking somewhere else whenever I looked back.
"Come on, Ted," I said, trying to keep my voice steady. "We have to study, Mr. Ryan might give us a suprise history test this week."
Ted shrugged, smiling slightly.
"You've been awfully quiet during this hour..." I put my bag on my lap, opening it. "I hope it's because you were studying really, really hard."
I took out a stack of flashcards, one they both knew very well. Bill looked up at the sight of the bright pink flashcards, glancing at Ted with a smirk. "Good luck dude !"
Ted groaned, putting his face in his hands.
"Ok Ted; what was the name of Edward Teach's ship?"
"Who's that ?"
I sigh. "Blackbeard."
"Oh ! That dude !" He smiles proudly. "The Revenge ! Queen Revenge or something !"
I widen my eyes, smiling brightly. "Queen Anne's Revenge ! Wow Ted, good job !"
I continued quizzing him on various historical events, he was surprisingly knowledgeable, answering right at a lot more questions than I would have thought. But every time I caught him staring at me, he stumbled over his words, unable to respond even if he seemed to know the answer. And seeing how much of an effect I had on him by simply looking back was making me feel giddy...
"Um, can you repeat the question?" he asked, his cheeks turning pink. "I didn't, didn't really understood dude."
A smile start to appear on my face as I keep staring at him, letting myself hope. I quickly glance at Bill who's busy writing every information possible on the Roman Empire but, sometimes switched to important American wars. He's pretty concentrated... I looked back at Ted, an idea growing in my mind; how much of an effect do I have on him and his concentration? That's when this genius idea came to mind, why not play footsie with him under the table to try and distract him even more ? I always kind of knew that Ted had somewhat of a crush on me, he's not a very closed guy with his emotions, really bad poker face. And to be honest, I also have somewhat of a crush on him. We're best friends, always been, I don't know if it's a good idea to act on those feelings for now... But nothing say's we can't have some fun !
I try to contain my giggle as much as I can, lowering my head to try and hide it. Sadly, he sees my growing smile right away, probably because he can't stop staring at me every chance he gets. I let myself slide slightly on my chair to get closer to me while he frowns, titling his head a little on the right. He jumps the moment my foot touches his ankle, looking at me with wide eyes.
"What are you doing?" he whispered, his face turning a bright red.
"Just trying to help you relax," I lied with a smirk, feeling my heart beat faster. "You seemed tensed !"
Ted shook his head, clearly flustered. "You're making it harder for me to concentrate dude..."
I continue, letting my foot get higher and higher, feeling a thrill every time I see him blush and wiggle in his seat, going left and right, even up and down sometimes. Every Time I pull a new flashcard, he can't even form one word without stuttering, coughing and moving in his seat.
"Hey, guys, can we focus here?" Bill asked, tapping his pencil on the table. "Dude, stop moving so much ! I can't write if you keep moving the table !"
"Sorry !" I said, letting my foot go back on the floor, making Ted groan at the sudden lack of contact. "You want to try the flashcards, Bill ?"
Ted shot me a disappointed look, but I knew it was for the best. I helped Bill with some of the flashcards, trying to keep the conversation focused on history, but Ted couldn't help himself from trying to get my attention back.
"So, Y/N, have you heard the one about the Roman gladiator who walked into a bar?" Ted asked, stopping Bill from answering my question about the Roman Empire.
I glanc at Bill who's leaning in, clearly wanting to heard the end of the joke. I roll my eyes, unable to stop smiling at his playfulness. "No, I haven't. Tell me."
As Ted launched into his joke, I could see Bill glancing back and forth between us with a confused expression. I know I have to keep things light with him so he won't suspect anything, especially since Ted had no idea I reciprocated his crush.
"So, Bill, did you know that the Boston Tea Party wasn't actually a party?" I asked, trying to divert his attention back to studying while Ted sighed.
"Yeah, I think I learned that in third grade dude !" He chuckled. "Don't even think they had tea..."
I laughed too, glancing up at Ted only to notice him staring at me again but this time, with longing in his eyes. His cheek was in the palm of his hand, the light from outside making his brown eyes shine perfectly. I felt my cheeks burn while something tightened in my chest, making me look down. This time he kept looking at me while I looked away, how the tables have turned...
"Come on, Ted, focus !" I said, trying to bring his attention back to the History book by putting it in front of his face. "Learn this chapter."
"I'm trying, I'm trying," Ted said, putting the book down in front of him ."You're just too distracting..."
I sigh, turning my attention back to Bill next to me who seemed too focused on his textbook to notice what's happening. I continued quizzing Bill, on the Revolutionary War this time, during the rest of the hour. Then, out of nowhere, I felt Ted's foot brushing against mine under the table, as I try to hide the smile on my face. He's getting bolder and bolder.
"You're killing me, Ted," I said, trying to sound stern. "I'm trying to help Bill !"
"I can't help it dude !" he said, moving his feet higher. "I need help too !"
I blush and look away, trying to hide my smile behind the cards. I knew I had to focus on helping Bill with his History, but it's hard with Ted's footsie game distracting me. Payback I guess.
"Alright, Bill, let's see if you can remember when was the Battle of Bunker Hill over." I murmur, trying to ignore Ted's foot on my calf.
As Bill struggled to answer, holding his hair in his hands, Ted's foot moved higher up my leg, and I could feel myself getting more and more flustered.
"Uh, uh, uh," Bill stuttered, unable to come up with the answer. "It's, like, a date..."
I could see the frustration on Ted's face as I helped Bill with the answer, showing no sign of being flustered like he was, even if I feel warm inside. Hearing him puff, I look back at him once I finished with Bill only to look down at his foot who was just laying in my lap lazily.
"Your shoe is so dirty Ted !" I giggled, trying to push it away. "Get. it. ooooff !"
He puts his hands on his heart, pulling is other foot on my lap. "Calling me dirty, pushing me away, how cruel !"
Bill looked up, laughing at our banter. "Your shoes are dirty dude." He said, trying to help me push his feets off.
"Traitor !" Ted points at Bill, holding the table so we won't be able to get him off. "All of you, traitors dude's !"
"THE THREE OF YOU." We all jumped, even gasping a bit. "OUT."
After hurrying to take our textbooks and bags out while stuffing a laughter, we finally got out and burst out laughing, putting everything in our bags. I sling it on my back, looking down at my tights. "Ted !"
"What is it dudette ?"
"Look how dirty I am, thanks to you !"
Both of them looked at my thighs, laughing even harder seeing the dirt stains. "My bad dude !"
He rubs my thighs to get it off, not noticing my reddening face at this sudden contact. I feel the warmth of his fingers through the fabric, making the lower part of my stomach tingle. "It, It's ok don't worry ! It's ok !"
"Sorry 'bout that." He whispers, smiling up at me.
"Yeah no, don't worry !" I laugh nervously, rubbing my thighs just like he did without noticing.
"Thanks for helping me, Iléna," Bill said, smiling at me. "You're the most excellent babe to ever exist !"
"No problem, Bill. You're going to do great," I said, patting him on the back, blushing slightly at his compliment. "If Mr. Ryan ask's about gladiators I know you'll kill it !"
As we started walking to go back home, I felt Ted's hand brush against mine after he bumped my shoulder into his. I look up at him, and he give's me a shy smile, trying to hide behind strands of his hair.
"Hey, do you dudes want to grab a pizza or something?" Ted asked, trying to hide the eagerness in his voice.
"Sure," I said, trying to sound nonchalant. "That sounds like a good idea."
"I'm starving...." Bill sighed, putting his palm on his stomach. "Could we also get slushies ?"
"Oh yeah, slushies !" I said excited.
I glanced at Ted, noticing him staring at me again, his burning hand still brushing my cold one. Suddenly, Ted slips his hand into mine, and I feel my heart skip a beat at his sudden boldness.
"To the pizzeria we go !" He exclaimed, starting to run.
I yelped, catching Bill hand quickly before he dragged me too far away. We all ran togheter, laughing and smiling.
Maybe I'm not ready to confess to Ted how I feel but, at least, I know that no matter what, he will always bring me with him.

The family you find - Chapter 1
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
{I have decided to give writing a series ago, this is going to be a criminal minds x original female character story, mainly the bau being one big family❤️ let me know what you think ❤️}
Lili Ryan was fresh out of the academy when she was scouted to join the bau. She’ll never forget being approached by Agents David Rossi and Aaron Hotchner, no more than 10 minutes after she walked the stage at her academy graduation. “Miss Ryan? The older or the two men asked, stopping the blonde girl in her tracks. “Yes, that’s me but you can call me Lili” she smiled, holding her hand out for them to shake, hoping they didn’t see it shaking slightly. Her mind was running a mile a minute, she knew of the bau, because of course she did, everyone knew they were the best of the best so what did the two leaders of the best team in the fbi want with her. “Congratulations on graduating” David smiled, taking her hand in a firm grip. “Thank you sir” she beamed back at him, the excitement from officially being part of the FBI obvious on her face. “Unfortunately we don’t have much time so we’ll keep this quick” Aaron spoke up, causing Lili to look at him confused. “We’ve been tracking all the new recruits to see if any of you will be a good fit for different departments, and you have exceptional recommendations from your mentors and peers” he stated. “Thank you” Lili smiled, still confused about where this was going. “You were top of your class, worked well with others, and were excellent in your field training” he continued. “What he’s saying, is we would love to have you be part of the bau” David finished for him. Lilis face froze as her eyes darted between the two older men. “W..what?” She whispered. “We have been looking for a new team member, and we think it would be best to have someone younger with a fresh perspective on everything” Aaron said, taking out some folded paper from his suit jacket. “Here’s the forms for you to fill out if you are interested, take some time to think about it and let us know but we think you’re going to make an incredible agent and we would love to have you” Aaron said, his lips curving into a small smile. “I..I don’t know what to say, thank you” Lili said, still in disbelief. “We’ll let you celebrate, congratulations” David said before both men turned and walked away, leaving Lili clutching the papers in her hand and wondering what the hell just happened.
Two days later, Lili found herself in the lobby of the FBI building, dressed in her favourite cream cardigan, black skirt and boots. “Can I help you?” A kind woman asked who was sat behind the reception desk. “Hi, I was wondering if you could point me in the direction of the bau?” Lili said, taking the papers Agent Hotchner had given her to prove she was allowed to be here. “Of course, the bau is located on the 6th floor, here’s a visitors pass for you” the receptionist informed, handing over a badge that Lili clipped to her cardigan. “Thank you, have a lovely day” Lili smiled before heading for the elevators. She’d spent the last 48 hours in disbelief that she had been given this opportunity, an opportunity that she knew she would take the minute it was offered, but knowing that as soon as the elevator doors opened her life would change made her nervous.
Ding!
Lili took a deep breath, straightened up and took her first step onto the 6th floor. The first thing she noticed was how busy it was. Agents were rushing around with files, typing away at their desks and heading into meetings. She pushed the glass doors open and suddenly felt like all eyes were on her. Blushing slightly, she looked down at her shoes before taking a tentative step forward. “Hey there, can I help?” A deep voice asked and she looked up to find a tall dark skinned man grinning at her. “I’m looking for Agent Hotchner or Agent Rossi?” She asked, giving the man a hesitant smile. “Hotch? His office is right up there and I think Rossi is with him” the man supplied helpfully. “Thank you” she said before stepping around him to walk up the steps to Hotchs office.
Knock knock
“Come in” Aaron said and she pushed the door open to find the two agents that she was looking for. “Lili!” David beamed, standing up and shaking her hand. “Good morning, I hope I’m not interrupting?” She asked. “Of course not, we’re glad you’re here” Aaron smiled, gesturing for her to take a seat. “I take it you’ve made a decision?” He asked, cutting straight to the chase. “I have” she nodded, taking the papers out of her bag once more, and sliding them across table. Aaron picked them up, his eyes glancing over them, before putting them down and offering her his hand.
“Welcome to the Bau Agent Lili Ryan”

Here are 3 YA horror books with Black protagonists for you to check out!
I Feed Her to the Beast and the Beast Is Me by Jamison Shea
There will be blood. Ace of Spades meets House of Hollow in this villain origin story. Laure Mesny is a perfectionist with an axe to grind. Despite being constantly overlooked in the elite and cutthroat world of the Parisian ballet, she will do anything to prove that a Black girl can take center stage.
To level the playing field, Laure ventures deep into the depths of the Catacombs and strikes a deal with a pulsating river of blood. The primordial power Laure gains promises influence and adoration, everything she’s dreamed of and worked toward. With retribution on her mind, she surpasses her bitter and privileged peers, leaving broken bodies behind her on her climb to stardom.
But even as undeniable as she is, Laure is not the only monster around. And her vicious desires make her a perfect target for slaughter. As she descends into madness and the mystifying underworld beneath her, she is faced with the ultimate choice: continue to break herself for scraps of validation or succumb to the darkness that wants her exactly as she is—monstrous heart and all. That is, if the god-killer doesn’t catch her first.
From debut author Jamison Shea comes I Feed Her to the Beast and the Beast Is Me, a slow-burn horror that lifts a veil on the institutions that profit on exclusion and the toll of giving everything to a world that will never love you back.

The Trainee Ep 3 Stray Thoughts
Last week, we learned that Jane is curt because he's the primary person trying to solve difficult scheduling issues inflicted upon them by management that can't say no to clients. Ryan considered quitting for the entire episode, but was eventually shored up by Jane praising him for finding an extra, and then not berating him for getting scammed. After solving the problems of the day, Jane pointed out that Ryan is a good supporter. I am feeling less keen on Pie for throwing Ryan under the bus.
This is a fairly reasonable nightmare to have.
Damn, and Ryan was trying to get back to it. This is the beginning of a no good very bad day.
Ep 3: The Grown Up Battlefield
Wow, our first BL moment, and it's on Jane teaching Ryan something.
Damn, Ryan, failed step one. Don't let the extras roam around.
Ryan, come on. You can't figure out how to silence or turn off your phone?
I can feel Pie building to cause problems again.
Big fan of Jane telling off that extra for disrespecting the work and Ryan.
Oh, Pie, you gotta work on bonding with your crew.
Bah Mee also needed to be told off.
Pie wtf. Managing the extras is not your job. Why would you tell her she could leave?
Mhmm. There it is. I see you being silent, Pie.
Excellent work, Ryan.
I feel a little bad for Pie. Dealing with strong personalities in stressful situations is a skill you have to develop.
Wow, I love Jane so much. He knows who fucked up and still shielded them from the client's ire because he knows it'll change nothing.
Jane is so valid about taking licks so that others can go home.
Was not expecting a Saving Private Ryan (1998) reference in my BL today.
I like ending on Ryan listening to his sister complain. He did the same earlier when he listened to Pie.
I really love this show. I like that we're following a series of projects, and I like going from the blow up last week on setting up the shoot to the drama of completing the shoot. Looks like we'll see with post production issues next week. I continue to be impressed with the way Jane conducts himself. He recognized how inexperienced Ryan is and is slowing down a little and supporting him in his own way. I'm excited about next week.

Another good week for this show! This episode had a lot going on:
Pah finally got the spotlight and worked through his ongoing issues with invoice lady, Ba Mhee, and his general sense of uncertainty about what he's good at. I like that all of these situations were nuanced; he was partly in the wrong and partly in the right in all of his beefs.
We finally found out what Jo does--and he is everybody's boss! A+ reveal and holding it back for the Pah episode was a stroke of genius. They have a really similar energy and for Pah to see that someone like him figured himself out and created his own company was excellent.
Ba Mhee stopped acting out and reflected on her own unprofessionalism wrt Pah, and I liked that she approached him first to put an end to their fighting. She didn't like the things Pah was saying to her because she knew they were true, and it was a nice bit of growth for her to just admit that, admit that giving him a false deadline was shitty, and move on from the grudge.
I also like that she directly asked Judy if they could spend more time together so she could figure her feelings out. Fixating on Judy right after her breakup with Tae is not getting to the root of her issues, but it feels like she is still on a journey to get there (and from the preview, it seems there is more story for Ba Mhee and Tae to come, which I am relieved about because their breakup felt too quick and easy). It was telling that she was still framing Judy's actions towards her in this episode in relation to Tae, and at least she's trying to take some time to sort her feelings instead of just jumping into things immediately.
Judy, on the other hand, continues to be a black box. I have no idea what she's thinking or why she's doing anything. This is either a huge hole in the show or an intentional device that will pay off before the end. Fingers crossed for the latter.
Ryan's repetitive jealousy is getting a little old and it does feel a bit like the show is treading water with him and Jane because they're not going to let them get together for real before the internship ends. Now that the feelings are fully acknowledged between them I would love a conversation about their timeline and why Jane is holding back, because Ryan doesn't seem to get it.
I did love Ryan reaching out to Tae by asking him work questions. He's thoughtful in how he tries to support his friends.
Will these people please let Pie drink her coffee in peace!

Whilst I'm not one of the Robert fans who believes introducing John is the worst storyline ever and that he's identical to Robert (he's nothing like him), I do think this storyline makes more sense if Robert is returning. If he's really not coming back and Ryan's turned them down, I do find it strange that the show would want to remind the audience of Robron so much. I'm willing to give the storyline a chance either way because I'm enjoying the show at the moment but if they want the audience to invest in a new relationship for Aaron then linking it to Robert and Robron is an interesting choice! I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but the way this is being written seems to make it more likely Robert is returning not less, right?
Hi anon,
I'm kinda of the same mind tbh, it's what makes the most sence. Now of course this is Emmerdale and what makes the most sense is not guaranteed to happen but...
Put it this way if all of this was about establishing John as Aaron's next great love then I would have expected the scenes John has had with Mack to be with Aaron (for reasons Emmerdale hinted at by having Nate rib Mackenzie about having a crush on John) I also wouldn't have expected them to hook up so quickly.
That doesn't mean I don't expect them to be together at any point. I am very prepared for them to have a relationship, heck I need it to happen for me to get my affair era 2.0 lol if John and Aaron don't end up together then I'll start to worry about Robert not coming back!!
As for the fan theories about Ryan and Daisy "coming from money" so not needing to work that badly, well those fans most be fairly new because some of us remember that Ryan was working in the kitchesn of restaurant chains to make ends meet before he got the part of Robert. Daisy has a good job now and Ryan would have earned good money while on Emmerdale, that doesn't mean they have a never ending supply of money. Actors want to work, they want to act. It's a vocation and a passion for them and parents want to provide for their families. He has landed some decent jobs since leaving but nothing that has really set the world alight or that he couldn't have landed before Emmerdale (and actually both those projects likely came through Emmerdale connections) He may be patient enough to want to keep trying to land something big or he may realise that he had on of the best gigs out there for an actor in todays climate and come home. Neither is a certainty.
I don't think John's introduction is lazy at all as some have claimed, to me it is an interesting idea and makes sense from a character and story perspective.
John looks a bit like Robert but personality wise is nothing like him. Also John looks nothing like Andy but personality wise is a bit like him (which is interesting from a nature v nurture perspective)
So you have 3 long running characters who all have a reason to be drawn to him.
Sarah who misses her dad and sees something of John in him (regardless of blood relation or not)
Aaron who misses his ex-husband and is reminded of him in John
Victoria who misses both of her brothers and her dad.
It's interesting and I am looking forward to seeing how it plays out. I didn't enjoy Emmerdale last year but this year it has been excellent, Laura Shaw has been doing a cracking job (with Kate and now Sophie). Long may it continue.
I refuse to make myself unhappy by being all doom and gloom about Ryan's chances of coming back, if it doesn't happen I'll cope as I have done the past 5 years. But atm I'm optimistic and enjoying.

My only thought is that Chris could maybe argue harder for more (developed) screen time and better (more resolved) character arcs for his iconic characters.
It seems like he’s happy to go along with what he’s given to work with, and he gives the input he’s allowed: aka insist that Johnny’s end monologue is included and doesn’t get cut (which actually does give way to how the Cassandra thing makes sense, so I agree with him on that). But Ryan wrote that for Johnny so it was already there. Chris didn’t come in and try to rework Johnny his way, he just came in and did what he was asked.
The whole endgame thing which is extremely tired discourse seemed that he was fine with letting his character sort of fade away into the background (while leaving it open so if Kevin and co want to bring Steve back…) while the RDJ/Ironman show got the spotlight. You can sort of argue that for what happens in civil war too. How is cap civil war more about Tony once again than anything else?
The Johnny part was fun but some people did say they felt he was done dirty - he didn’t get too much play outside of being kind of treated like a comic relief, though you are right that it was more than just a “throwaway cameo.”
I think it’s why when he does get more creative liberty and say you’ll see more confidence showing in his performances. It’s just too bad that some of these projects haven’t been able to take off. I think his confidence is extremely rattled by some of the lukewarm reception but it’s nice to see at least he/his team wants to continue to get him some more projects where he’d have more producer credits too (sacrifice). Ghosted could have been a lot better but the script was just not it. So maybe it was always DOA regardless. I did like how he helped get those cameos on set (which were arguably the best parts of the otherwise meh movie).
I feel he’s often overshadowed by bigger personalities who make decisions about certain characters he plays (Ryan and Shawn had ultimate say in how Johnny played out), the Russos and the screenwriters and Kevin feige had overall say in how Steve’s arc ended, and likely they all wanted it to center around RDJ:Tony because he started it all.
Sometimes, being adamant about your vision and input on a creative project may have you butting with a few heads but ultimately, sometimes it works out for the better. Look at how bong joon ho fought against Harvey Weinstein to keep his film the way it was against Harvey’s take to change it up. Yes, that cost the film visibility and the chance to be a big box office hit, but it’s considered one of bong’s best films (and a great film overall) and one of Chris’ best films too. I think Snowpiercer walked so parasite could run and that’s all due to bong’s vision and determination to keep it that way.
I hope CE develops better self esteem and trusts his own ability so it can open more doors for him in the future.
(Just my opinion)
Wow, I think you bring up several excellent points, but, in the end, we have to remember what Chris has said about himself absolutely hating confrontation. It's extremely difficult to advocate for yourself or your pov on your character if you feel unable to speak up due to whatever internal struggles you have. But, also, I don't know how much you can even do when you're just coming in for a small supporting role. I think the "system" of the movie simply expects you to do as asked and remain quiet.
