IT’S DONE

i’ve been working on this nonstop since RWD s3 ep8 dropped and i got to this scene (time stamp is 1:56:00) (i took liberties with the dialogue but y’know). i started working on it while finishing the episode so That Thing That Happened Later in Limbo happened right when i was already screaming at myself over posing/anatomy/perspective/all that technical stuff. devastating.

i would’ve had this done probably yesterday but i made a custom brush for the very first time for the beetle swarm and that took me an ENTIRE AFTERNOON so lol

i do not do a lot of digital art so the sheer number of things i learned doing this ONE comic page is...a lot. gratifying but also exhausting

anyway way back in s1 ep1 i didn’t think dani would be my favorite but she just keeps coming in clutch in just about every situation. dani supremacy

I got that good ol' fashoined ✨brainrot✨from the RWD season 3 finale so of course ive been subconsciously associating some songs im listening to with characters

So far i have:

Finbar: Willow by The Arcadian Wild

VR-LA: Constellations by The Oh Hellos (ofc i assign one of my favorite songs in general to him)

Kyana: Lapis Lazuli by The Oh Hellos

Will my brain generate more character vibes? Probably, yes. Will i bother to post more of them? Maaaaaaybe.

in the Q&A, Austin said that AS-TR would be a twilight cleric and @/KJ_Max pointed out that there's a type of flower called a "'Twilight Aster" as well, so here's my take on her. (the designs around her eyes and on her chestplate/pauldrins are based on her goddess, Selune's, symbols)

It is no longer a new experience and I would STILL highly recommend it

Being genuinely concerned about player deaths on Rolling with Difficulty is a new and horrifying experience for me and I would HIGHLY recommend it

no but actually it’s amazing and so much fun and i swear that you won’t regret it (like it will probably take over your brain but it’s so good that you won’t regret it)

also s3 just finished so there’s a couple of months until s4, so now is actually a really good time to start it cause you’ll have time to catch up before the new season without rushing
