i like to think that loop being Like That wasnt because of sheer ego death, and thats just how siffrin responds to high stress environments

like, siffrin just wakes up on the beach and goes “welp. guess i gotta slut it up for a bit”

thinking about how siffrin has the lowest attack stat out of everyone when they're all at the same level, and they become overleveled and overpowered during the loops. siffrin's sheer strength post loops is already shocking by itself, but when you include that everyone's impression of Siffrin prior to this was of someone who did a bunch of smaller hits that added up to a good amount of damage, rather than someone who did a ton of damage in a single hit...

and it's not just the gap in strength that's scary, but their whole fighting style changed too, from a support sub-dps type (scissors skills having chance to debuff, rock/paper skills doing low damage but giving extra jackpot points) to a brute force dps (just attack, the low dmg rock/paper skills being replaced with big damage variants)...

it just. would take a while to adjust to. i think. sorry siffrin if you have memory of sadnesses but you're going into the air fryer
