Back when I first got bit by the RG bug a few years ago, I sketched out 90% of this comic and then ran out of steam. Some friends recently encouraged me to finish off the last couple pages and share it, so here it is!

Ren: I'll answer this for anyone who has ever had this question; "Is it britches or bitches?" and how it was the hardest part to record in my entire life because...

Ren: Back in the day, when we first started out, they didn't want us swearing, like, at all. But I remember on that day in particular, when I was in the recording booth, they had me on mute and I could see the entire CRWBY team were having this conversation and all I'm thinking is, "Did I do something wrong?" and "Am I being let go?"

Ren: Then finally one of them spoke up, it was our lead producer, and they said, "Hey, uh, we've got a question for you. Would you feel comfortable making the R in britches as soft as you can? We want it to be britches, but we also want people to wonder if you're swearing or not."

Ren: So this was entirely intentional! I know it sounds like something made up on the spot, or whatever, but it was real and it was honestly the hardest thing I've ever done in a recording booth. Like, it was so hard to make that R as quiet as possible, but after an hour, I got "melt those britches down to ash~!" and I remember the entire CRWBY team just giggling and laughing because- because it was like we were putting in an inside joke for everybody involved.

Jaune: It's so naughty~!

Ren: It's so naughty, right? But now, any time someone comes up asks me, "Hey, in I Burn, is it Bitches or Britches?" my answer will always be "Yes."
