I'm sorry but reading antis tweets (saw them in twitter) about how dkbk/bkdk is dead is so funny bc... no?

The only canon ship in ao3's top 10 ships is Aziracrow. The others? They aren't. (And look who is our n° 8 <3)

Endgame didn't stop people from shipping Stucky/Stony.

Supercorp, which isn't canon, has more fics than icons like Korrasami, Rupphire or Catradora (I love them too, don't get me wrong)

Destiel, despite Supernatural's ending, is the ship with more fics out of all ao3.

Canon matters? Yes, when you write metas or analyses the text. But with shipping? Not really. Bc what matters there is having fun.

bkdk/dkbk has 50969 fics in ao3 at the moment. Which is insane. If not more fics are add, by reading one fic per day, it would take around 130 years to read them all.

Even funnier, if we use the otp: true function the number turns down to 29175 (we still have 57.2% of fics & 80 years of reading), to put it in perspective, k/b turns down to 14767 (43.4%), e/m to 6255 (24.18 %) and i/o to 2305 (22.12%). /No shade to any of the ships, I just want to give us maths/

Wilder, Remus/Sirius has 57528 fics, but with otp:true the number is 21838 (37.96%)

*both MHA and HP/Marauders have huge cast, so minor ships/the ship itself but not centric are more likely to be included in the tags.

So, yeah, them holding hand would have been beautiful, you are allowed to dislike the ending (tbf I have more issues about tgck and how mistreated Himiko was) but it's our love for the ship what is keeping this alive.

No matter what, antis would have been weird about us, so let's just block & ignore them.

dkbk/bkdk won't be dead as long as we make edits, fanarts, ships or just talk about them.

It isn't canon, but that has never stopped a fandom.
