Poor Mephisto, didn't even get MC pregnant in the end, but still having to deal with the wrath of everybody else lol.

Honestly, I think Mephisto would be really happy to find out he's going to be a father. He obviously loves kids and is really good with them, so I just think it'd mean a lot to him to have one of his own.

If MC was pregnant for real, I have no doubt that Mephisto would absolutely dote upon them the whole time.

I kinda like the idea of Diavolo and Barbatos being all protective, too. You know, because they clearly know Mephisto fairly well.

Diavolo is just thrilled to pieces. Meanwhile Barbatos is like step aside Mephisto I will do a much better job of caring for MC than you would.

LOL.

But yeah, before all that he's gonna hafta try really hard not to get killed by Lucifer and Mammon... I just feel like those two especially don't like Mephisto.

Mephistopheles with a lisp as a child. His father hiring a speech therapist to tutor him, never shamed for his impediment but feeling shame nonetheless. A solemn boy, speaking with a quiet voice because he's unable to clearly pronounce his own name, let alone "Prince Diavolo" or "Your Highness."

"Introduce yourself to the prince, son," says his father.

"Me-Mephi-th," his face heats in embarrassment, "Mephith-to,"

His father shoots him a stern look, urging him to complete the introduction with respect.

He utters the title in barely a whisper, "Your highneth." He wants to run and hide.

Mephisto's father leaves them alone in the castle gardens under the watchful eye of Prince Diavolo's governess.

"I always thought the use of titles was so stuffy." says the prince.

Mephisto just shrugs, refusing to look at him.

"But your dad makes you say it, right? He's traditional."

Mephisto sighs miserably in response, bobbing a small nod but still staring at the ground.

The prince is quiet for a moment, until a wide smile spreads across his face, "If you have to use a title, why don't you just call me 'Lord Diavolo' for now, Mephie," he says, "It's easier."

Years of study break Mephisto of his lisp, his speech becoming eloquent and verbose. He had to work hard for something that came so easily to others, why shouldn't he be proud?

Now he only trips over his words on the rare occasion his arrogant mask slips and he's flustered.

But he'd never show that it bothers him beyond the lightest dusting of blush across his cheeks. He's not that shy, self conscious child anymore.

Though the affectionate title of "Lord Diavolo" remains. The Crown Prince still prefers it to any other honorific.

ITS OK AHHAH

wolf guys name is iza (izayah) and braid guy is tay!!

iza is one of the minor characters but still appears often for comedic relief if u wanna call it that. he and his partner (mephisto) are part of the suits who organize/run the game (therefore theyre on no good or evil side but neutral ground) and theyre dubbed "cleaners" - their task is basically "getting rid" of rulebreakers (iza doesnt like his job). tay is part of the main trio and a participant of the game, on abels (pink glasses guy) side. hes taking care of the van, bike, anything other breakable (hes skilled w his hands when it comes to engines and all that stuff)

since theyre part of the suits, iza and mephi should be impartial and not help either side to victory.......they dont so they wont break any rules but considering iza is abels biggest fan its kinda clear who theyre secretly rooting for. tays favorite person are both his besties (abel and mars, the blue haired girl)

funnily enough, considering his role, iza is terribly scared of horror etc and a big enjoyer of romance (he cries a lot) and musicals (hes not very talented but a passionate singer nonetheless) or anything action (its just so cool) - on the contrary, tay enjoys splatter and creepy horror and abel and mars dont rlly know whats scarier, the kinda stuff he can watch unfazed or his cute friendly smile he keeps on wearing while watching (its always the seemingly pure, innocent ones huh.../j)

mutuals appreciation post! i've been feeling sentimental about the fact that i met so many wonderful skillfull artists and just great people here in such a short time so i want to tell each one of you a couple of nice words

@miaumiaoumao it amazes me how many art styles you can pull off. that's a very rare skill in my experience and you absolutely slay every time. your silly cartoony comics are always a joy to see, and the way you do lineart in the more realistic styles is asolutely wonderful. im staring at the "peer into the darkness" piece (the second one) while im writing this and i cant stop. the way how it's all pencil-y, grainy and textured scratches some deep itch of mine

@fanaroff i love how squishy and soft you draw your characters. your style is so interesting to me, you push the proportions yet it still looks balanced and right. also your characters often feel very grounded in their environment and space, they feel solid. like i know how they would feel if i could touch them yk? i guess that's what i mean as squishy and soft aha

@myballsitchaurghouchie my god where do i begin. your character designs? immaculate. so eccentric and bold and full of character, i love all of the wiskers-ear tufts-fly aways you give your narinder, and the way you stylise your lamb's wool and goat's hair looks insanely cool. you know how to pull off both extremely soft and gentle atmosphere and extremely dynamic one. i see your art quite infrequently but each time it's a joy to behold

@aniimoni i fell in love with your art from the first glance. despite the fact that the majority of your works that i see are digital ones, they all feel so... tactile? sensory? as if i can feel non existent grafite under my fingers, trace the brush strokes. the art that you do is so very gentle, the care you put into it is obvious even through the screen. also i love your lamb's design so very much. and narinder's penis ears. what can i do

@sriibble don't know if i should tag you since you're not in our weird cultist club and you already know all im about to say but hey, no harm in some praise, is there. i've seen you skills evolve over these years, but honestly each time i see your new drawings i feel like im awestruck for the very first time. the way you work with colour sometimes looks like magic to me, you can take the palette that makes no sense and bend and mold and twist it into something absolutely beautiful. i know you draw without lines or contours but each time i actually see im in awe. maybe i sound cheesy but it feels like you actually create art, like it runs from your fingers and molds in your palms like clay. жесть меня понесло конечно но и ладно. люблю тебя моя радость, чмаф

@greedykrab the way you work with colour is insane omg. your drawings have such pure raw energy to them, the way you draw, messy and confident, is mesmorising amd so so expressive. you convey atmosphere masterfully, that black and red drawing of narinder in the window still scares the shit out of me. i adore your dark warm kinda dirty paletts, i feel like you know very well how colour and lighting behave, your pieces always feel so real

I deliberately saved this ask for last (sort of). As a treat for myself and as a threat for everyone else ♡ And for @ur-favorite-basil-enthusiast since he was also interested in seeing The Collection.

I'll have to split this into a few parts - dreaful, I know! - because I can only add 10 pictures to one post while on mobile =( I'll keep reblogging with additional pictures till I run out of things to share. Part 1

He had manifested to me in a dream when I first started researching Chernobyl, have I ever mentioned that? Well, he has. Which was truly an anomaly because I almost never have any dreams at all... but about that some other time, perhaps.

I am going to put the pictures of him under the cut so nobody gets jumpscared by my Collection of Five Billion White Guy Pictures. And I'll also include some relevant information! Or as relevant as I can make it, at least.

Just to be clear (and safe): I found all of these out in the wild, on da internet. I am, however, pretty sure that at least the collage of his pics from uni times is from @/toptunovleonid on Instagram. So, just to be very clear: all credit for at least that goes to her.

Semi-chronologically, his pictures go like this:

Ignoring that one picture that is barely visible and out of frame in a few pictures of the photo album it's in, because he looks about 10 there and I feel slightly weird about sharing it specifically.

We're in... Tallinn, middle school number 11!

Second boy from the left in the second picture is him. That is he. He who was 15 then. And a 16 year old Lyonya in the left picture, of course.

From this time, one of his classmates remembers him as follows: At school he was quiet, unnoticeable, very shy. I remember he was always hanging out with younger kids. He was chubby. They'd now say he was a "nerd". Alright, we get it, he was a sweet child... Teen? Both? Or was he like this all his life? Either way, please stop before I die from all that sugar...

He's (10th grade) the guy leading the little girl (1st grade). His shapeless hair has charmed me. What's his hair routine and will it work on my curls? Mhm, didn't think so. And first in the second row from the bottom in the small pictures, in case you can't recognise his face yet.

As a bonus - his school certificate from the school in Tallinn he attended until graduating in 1977:

The grades were from 2 (you didn't pass with that one, so that's an F) to 5 (an A, I suppose?). So as you can see, he certainly studied well. What a nerd (affectionately).

Uni territory now! Moscow calling 📞 or, rather, Obninsk and the MEPhI

If you weren't born in any of the USSR countries during The Soviet Times, it'll come as a surprise to you but the students had mandatory... field... work... classes...? if you can call them that. They had them digging potatoes and what not. Nothing screams socialist spirit like making uni students do free labour in the field, I guess?

When I first saw this picture, I thought he was on some kind of a scaffolding but alas - it's one of those old beasts, like our Bizon. But that's not a Bizon because those had roofs. Nobody here cares for USSR combines talk - not even me - let's move on.

Not too sure when these two are from but they look uni enough to me - probably from the very beginning and sometime closer to the end, judging by his stache doing significantly better...

Mandatory military service because a REAL MAN in the USSR needed to know how to shoot a gun, obviously. Even when that meant military service interrupted your uni for a short while. I say that as if no other countries before or after had mandatory army time... don't question it, I'm doing a bit.

Lyonya is second in top row in the picture on the left and third from the left in the top row in the other pic. Korol is there, too, he's fourth from the left in the top row in the first picture and second from the right in the bottom row in the other picture.

The Pets Favorite Toy

Jupiter

He likes anything metal. Anything that will make a clinking sound when he hits it against something. Metal sounds the most pleasing...and happens to be the most annoying

Schelm

Mozart needs to keep him away from his violin bow because he loves to swing that around and ruin the strings on it. But he really loves bells. He has one on his perch and loves to ring it. Sometimes it seems like he's trying to make music with Mozart.

Lumiere

A simple string does the trick. But he has a little stuffed mouse that he carries around. He's always batting it around Leonardo's room and losing it and he cries until Leonardo moves things to be able to get it back out

Brush

Anything he can get his hands on. For a week he just carried around a spoon. He also has a thing for taking Comte's ties and hiding them under the couch.

King

The boy wants to play tug of war with anything. So if he has something in his mouth and you go to take it, he thinks you also want to play. Theo has had shirts rip from this. However he's giving me sick vibes. He just carried around one of Theo's socks when he's working for comfort

Vic

He has a ball he loves to play fetch with, but man does he love to dig in the garden. That has to be his favorite thing to do. He also wants to find the biggest stick and try to carry it.

Harry

Isaac made him a wheel to run on and that's all he does now. Those little legs go so fast. Nyoom. But he would also love digging through packaging peanuts. Putting some treats in there for him to find.

Cherie

String also works for her. But she goes crazy for feathers. So when the birds are shedding, Jean gathers their feathers and puts them on a string for her.

Bunta

Paper. He wants to rip up paper. He thinks it's so much fun to rip it up and put it in his nest. But he will play with anything he can get to. He tends to steal paintbrushes.

Puck

He has a little tunnel he runs in and out of, and is acting like he is hiding. He will sit in it and watch Will do his thing, thinking he is hidden and cannot be bothered from inside the tunnel.

Time

Comte's shoes. If he leaves his shoes out Time will chew on them. But he also loves playing with a ball, chasing it up and down the hallway. Sometimes treats will come out of the ball and.he gets super happy.

Lottie

She has a little kiddie pool and she begs Sebastian to fill it up. If there's no water in it she stands in it and baaas at him. She just wants to play in the lil pool

Marshmallow

Definitely a squeaky toy kind of gal. But also anything crinkly. If it makes noise she wants it. But if it's a squeaky she wants to rip it out and then play with the toy. They have no clue why. She just wants to rip something to shreds and take it's heart out

Mephie

Faust gives her a lot of little kid puzzles and she loves them. The ones where you have to fit the right shape through the right hole? She loves it. But she also has a little stuffed animal she carries around and she CRIES when Faust has to wash it.

Louis

Basically anything he's allowed to chew on. They give him teething toys and he sits there and chews. However. He also loves the red dot. And the fact that he can climb makes it even more fun for Charles.

Would Diavolo get jealous of someone hanging around Lucifer and vice versa (would Lucifer get jealous of someone around Diavolo) and how would the two react🥚

With Diavolo, it depends on the person. On a subconscious level, he will get jealous if certain conditions are met.

If they are: a demon, taller than Luci, close to him in height, muscular, and (this is somewhat optional) of high rank/power, he will probably get jealous. By these standards, if he is tired and running on instincts and energy drinks, he will growl at Beel for standing too close to Lucifer

Lucifer mostly doesn't get jealous unless said person is actually flirting/cuddling up to Diavolo. Diavolo talks to a lot of people, he's the prince after all, so Luci doesn't really care. If it's Mephi, Luci will normally butt into conversation though

I really love the idea of Gortash and Durge, when going on their hell heist, meeting the Player Character from Neverwinter Nights: Shadows of Undrentide & Hordes of the Underdark. That character knows Mephistopheles' true name (and if you know the lore behind true names you know how wild that is). It would just be so funny.

LIKE I'm just imaging my Teifling (because the Fubar mod adds teiflings as a playable race) Bard Belinda just strumming away on her lute just being like "Hey if you run into Mephy tell him I say hello!"

Keeping in mind the play character also can just straight up fight Mephistopheles in combat, in the streets of Waterdeep. LIKE Gortash and Durge are both way out powered here. Love the idea of these two guys meeting a lvl 40 bard. Man, I miss epic levels.

LIKE yeah the two games happen 120 years apart, I just think it would be so silly. I want Gortash & Durge feel fear about a pink haired Teifling.
