Lucien Flavius, Inigo, and Rumarin fit into this world so well, and their dynamic as part of cheerful Ravonna’s fellowship really feels like that of an actual group of friends with history behind them. as well as some utterly giggle-worthy moments of levity, there are some truly heartfelt moments here, particularly as Miraak finds himself at the side of Ravonna (and her fellowship!) and realises who he wants to be.

Lgbtq+ headcanons with the Dovahkrew

These are Sexuality and romantic orientations not gender orientation headcanons. Sorry. These are also MY headcanons so if they don't match up with your headcanons it's not personal so please don't get mad at me. I am curious to see your headcanons as well though.

Inigo- Heteroflexible. He is most definitely interested in women and I always head canon that after the events of Skyrim he does settle down with the woman of his dreams who just happens to own a sweet roll shop. But I also feel like he would definitely point out a man's beauty. He seems like a very comfortable in his Sexuality kind of guy.

Lucien- Questioning Asexual Biromantic. He seems more interested in knowledge and learning other things than a relationship. And if someone did ask about his orientations then I feel like he wouldn't be able to answer that because he doesn't really try to experiment with romance of any kind.

Kaidan- Bisexual with maybe a fem preference (including feminine or men). I also see him as Pansexual because honestly I don't think he really cares about what gender his lover is.

Auri- Sapphic or Lesbian. I mean her creator basically made it Canon that she Prefers women.

Rumarin- Panflux 100%. Gender doesn't get in the way when it comes to any type of attraction to one another.

Vilja- I really only know her from a video of Inigo dialogue they have together. If I had to make a guess I would say she's straight or Pan, but I'm leading more into Straight.

Sofia- Bi with a big male preference.

Hoth- I really wish there were more videos and content on his commentary in Skyrim because I don't have him, but I'm interested him so much that I'd love to know more about his character. I feel like he doesn't use labels and gender isn't that much of an issue when it comes to love.

Taliesin- Pansexual. I mean come on its THE Talisman.

Gore (aka bby girl)- Questioning Omnisexual. It just feels right to me

Caryalind- I can't remember if rabbit said his sexuality was Demiromantic Asexual. I know he is Ace (or at least on the Ace spectrum) but I can't remember is they anything about being demi. I think he's Demiromantic.

Lucifer- Polysexual but I feel like he does have a male preference though I could be very very wrong. It's so funny because I play with him a lot on Skyrim but barely know anything about him. He holds grudges, he's very secretive (good on him because i would be too if i was in his situation), and he loves argonians. He seems to look up to Xelzaz and Inigo (and in some sense he does seem to be very enthusiastic when first meeting Nebarra until he realizes he doesnt like his personality) a lot which is what fueled my belief that he's maybe Achillean (Sapphic but for masculine terms instead of feminine).

Nebarra- I 100% believe that he refuses to use any labels. I think he might lean toward women a bit more, but that would only be because of how altmer are only raised to make the perfect child, so opposite sex relationships are probably the most common in the Summerset Isles. His fixation with Niranye and past relationship with Camia shows that. He doesn't seem Asexual because he doesn't hide the fact that he does enjoy the idea of doing the naughty naughty. His commentary on Dibella, Dibella Sybil quest, in the Night to Remember he says how he hopes we got to experience the Dibellan arts, and how he jokes about being Lucifer's father just prove that.

Xelzaz- Don't get mad at me, but I think he's straight. He says when hes ready he's like to marry a female argonian, and the only other time he's fallen I love was with another girl. I don't think he's asexual, but I think he definitely isn't very interested in it though we wouldn't really know because he seems very adamant on wanting to keep that part of his life private (as he should I love a king that doesn't feel like he has to tell us his sexual life).

Remiel- Asexual Panromantic. It was already proved Canon that she's Asexual. I had the conversation with her where she tells is she doesn't feel sexual feelings towards someone as she does with romantic feelings (also good on her. Not every relationship needs to have sexual desire in them). She's fallen in love with boys before and didn't seem too mad about being arranged to another man so I don't want to label her as Sapphic. And she does fall in love with you regardless of gender and I haven't seen anything that says she has a preference from the creator so I believe she's panromantic.

Secunda- I really don't know her that much yet as I'm still playing with her. First impressions is telling me panflux though I could be wrong though.

Serana- Without the SDA. She always gave me Asexual Biromantic vibes.

Teldryn Sero- Haven't started A serious Teldryn mod yet so I don't know too too much about his personal preferences, but he seems like the type who doesn't really use labels. Though I'm positive he is Bisexual.

Karina- Panromantic Demisexual. It was confirmed by the one who made her @jewelthejaguar742

Arstul- Asexual Omniromantic with a male preference. Talked with @joonjii about it and it's confirmed. However, they also said he could be panromantic with a male preference too but they said my opinion was valid and technically right.

This was supposed to be a fun Valentine's day tag game, but alas, I hadn't had the time to do it until now. Anyway, I found these cute make-your-ship games and I thought what better way to see what my friend's ships are than to make this tag game!

First off, since WYGTYA was the first fic I started posting, it's only fair to start with the ships from there!

One the left, we have the Ravvyraak! She's making Miraak hold her lute because she wants to get another fancy goblet of booze, of course. She's probably teasing him and calling him a lightweight.

And on the right, we have Rumcurio! I haven't picked a background because I can really see Rumarin and Marcurio sneaking off into a dark corner to make out :)))) Maybe both ships are at the same party.

Do Fenrik/Miraak and Rumarin have the same haircut? Yes, but consider this: they got ready for the party together because they're besties, and ever since Chapter 10, Rumarin wants Fenrik to always braid his hair.

And here's a little bonus! My Nerevarine (the red-haired one) and her girlfriend, who is a great-aunt (adoptive) of Ravonna! She is the one who brought a literal emerald bar for the Tavern when the family business started in Blacklight, thus giving it the name "The Emerald Bar"! Aaaand, Ravvy's adoptive dad named her after this woman! I can never have enough Ravonnas, underused name tbh.

And now for the pirates that are rotting my brain (SPOILER WARNING FOR THE HOTHS SHIPS, I guess)

In order of appearance, we first have Rhaim, everyone's favourite werewolf, with Edward, this annoyingly competitive Nord that's really good at cooking and throwing knives. (the apple is a reference to a dumb line of dialogue that Rhaim says in the upcoming chapter!)

Up next we have Rajeena, skilled warrior, very well-trained, is used to the pirate life, and the crazy Breton named Iresette, who just got a taste of freedom and she realized that she's been starved of it for all her life. (These two haven't appeared yet, but the brainrot is too strong not to include them here)

I know this next one is basically the first ship that appears in HOTHS, but it's not really a canon ship and this is all I'll say on the matter. The redhead is Anne, the voice of reason, endlessly loyal to the woman who introduced her to piracy, which is none other than the captain herself, Signe! WYGTYA readers already know how important Signe is for the plot and which iconic Skyrim NPC she secretly is ;) ALSO, THE ONE-EYED CHARACTER DESIGN IS NOW MY FAVE SIGNE TRAIT!

-wicked ass armor and weapon with fucking tigers on it

-realistic cursing in life or death situations

-literally the most realistic male dialogue ever with his corny ass innuendos. ‘This monument, does it remind you of me, love? Just kidding.’

-so goated in battle. Mans can kill a dragon so easy and i don’t need to do anything but look pretty

CARYALIND

-his hair is so fluffy. I bet it smells like roses and vanilla bean, what’s your secret bb

-such a sweetheart all the time. No wonder he can’t be Thalmor, he has too much heart for it

-fucking backstory. It’s very Zuko without villain redemption arc, and the fact that he still worries about the LDB thinking worse of him for being Thalmor royalty is just *chef’s kiss*

-ACE REP. I really fucking love how he can dress like a hoe, flirt like a hoe, and look so hot but have no interest in sex. Mmm that’s my jam that’s what I like.

hiiiii I know I don't ask a lot of questions or post a lot abt him myself but honestly I'm kind of struggling on figuring out potential interactions between the Tallyboy and my oc's

I hav 3 in mind as "most likely to get up to shenanigans with Tally" tho

an alternate-universe version of my main Thalmor oc wherein she is the LDB (cus from what I know custom voiced followers aren't build for non-LDB's)

a snow elf LDB uplifted from a falmer, and thus having no knowledge of the outside world. also has Inigo, Xelzaz, and Rumarin (her love interest) on her team for now

and my high elf vestige (non dragonborn) who survived all the way from 2E and was rescued by and reunited with the oc's of my dear friend @titanwolfackerman (since that they told me Tally would be on their team, which also includes Inigo, Xelzaz, Lucien, Nebarra, Caryalind, and Miraak)

I would like to hear his thoughts on each character or at least the basic premises they are built on, hopefully it will give me inspiration to start creating some interesting scenarios <3

I have noticed a lot of players have different ideas for their Dragonborn outside of being a Dragonborn, and I respect that. I only play the Main Story quest and when I want to feel like the Dragonborn, so that's probably why a lot of Custom Voiced followers follow that route. To make the story the player has for their character to feel less forced into that role. I made Taliesin the same; he doesn't address the player as Dragonborn unless it's about the Main Story quest in question.

So with your Thalmor OC finding out she's the Dragonborn. Were Taliesin present, or depending on how you plan to have them meet, he would encourage her to keep this part about her a secret from the other Thalmor. His knowledge of Dragonborn lore is tied directly to how the Nord's perceive the legend of the Dragonborn - pretty much an example of how Nords should act and be. An Altmer being their example? very controversial. Same with the Thalmor, knowing one of their own holds power, they'd want to take full advantage of that in the worst way possible. He might become protective of her when it comes to anything Thalmor related. If she voices wanting to run off from the Thalmor or leave in anyway, he'd ask to join her.

A Falmer (snow elf) would be a curiosity to him. Lots of questions would come to mind about her culture, but if she doesn't have him, that'll sadden him a bit. He's willing to do research to find answers to not only his questions but to something to make her more a part of her people. Your vestige. What are their secrets to staying alive that long! Tally wants to know! That might be something he would have trouble getting over. From the 2nd era to the 4th era is almost over 1000 years! And that's the average life span for an Altmer without the use to magic! He had an ancestor back in that Era, so his first question would be knowing his great-great-great-great ect grandfather!

💞Born three years ago on my very first modded PC game, Morwen (and her Siamese cat Brutus) is the original OC of this account. I started her first real story in January 2021. It's been almost three years!

💞A Breton from Evermore in High Rock, Morwen was adopted at a young age by an upper class mage that worked in King Sigmayne's court. Her childhood was beyond difficult. Morwen fled Evermore with her older adopted sister Sarine at age 18.

💞Several years later, Sarine was slain by the Thalmor. Morwen wandered Cyrodiil, working as a thief. Her story in this blog begins as she is just escaping an eight month captivity by sadistic bandits, then fleeing Helgan. She ends up in Whiterun being assisted by the healers there- and thus begins her story in Skyrim.

💞Morwen's relationships: she is married to Kaidan and Rumarin, in a trio once dubbed the "circle of power" by a reader.

💞She has a twin brother named Dunvenn, discovered not until she was 25 years old.

💞Morwen is a natural leader, despite all of her efforts to roll her eyes or shrug her shoulders about being the Dragonborn. At first, her past trauma made her moody and difficult, but over time, Morwen has gracefully accepted the responsibilities of her birthright. An outsider herself, Morwen quickly formed a fellowship, the base being Elysium Estate in Whiterun. She has a house in Riverwood, Leaf Rest, gifted to her by her sister; it is used as a place of rest, love, and escape by the whole crew.

💞 Morwen's trio has four adopted children, housed in Heljarchen Hall in the Pale. This is the family home. Morwen dotes on her family; as someone that experienced love only from one adopted sibling, now gone, she sees her family and friends as a second chance at a happy life.

💞The Dragonborn adores animals. Her cat Brutus seldom leaves her side. Her affinity with horses has been part of her since childhood.

💞Morwen has a special bond with Inigo, covered in a later recap; and Vassago, who is linked to her in a special way.

The Truth of it all

Pairings: Rumarin x Erawen (Female Dovahkiin)

Rating: 18+ 

Warning: Mentions of terminated pregnancy, Mention of abusive father, hurt to comfort, angst, depression, and guilt.

Summary: Rumarin finally learns the truth about the girl that broke his heart and that their love story has even more tragedy than he had originally thought. 

Notes: This will not be the main story line of these two, it was just an idea I had.

Rumarin sat silently on his bed across from Erawen’s, they were at the Ivarstead inn. Sleeping for the night, so they didn’t have to go up the 7000 steps in the dark. 

They had been traveling together for less than a month, yet he felt like he had known her his entire life. 

The demons that settled within him got louder every day and he yearned to tell her; he wanted nothing more than to spill his fears to her. Something inside him told him not to though, telling him she wouldn’t care, she’d brush it off, or give him absurd reasons not to feel the way he does. 

He cried a lot at night without her knowledge, his heart ached from past trauma. He used his sarcastic humor as a facade to hide the fact that he was deeply hurt. 

Rumarin rested his face in his palms and silently wept, like he had many nights before. His agony poured out in the form of sobs and tears. He couldn’t stop the flow of pain that came with it. 

The despair of needing someone, yet not wanting to burden anyone with his problems. He was trapped in his own mind with no hope of a way out. His mind screamed at him as he sobbed away the sorrow. 

His silent pleas of despair were disrupted suddenly, when he felt the furs on his bed rustling and a gentle hand on his back. 

“Ru?” Came the voice of his traveling companion, the woman he had grown fond of. 

Rumarin looked up and met the concerned, tired eyes of Erawen. Rumarin’s lip quivered, and his tears continued to chase each other down his soft cheekbones. To Erawen, he looked like a sad boy, and it broke her heart. 

She knew a bit about him already and knew he wasn’t treated fairly in childhood. She didn’t know that he was in such pain though and that he kept this from her, she had a feeling this wasn’t the first cry he had in their time together. 

“What’s on your mind?” Erawen cooed as she rubbed Rumarin’s back, he wanted to resist, but he knew he couldn’t keep it bottled up any longer. He felt like he could truly trust her, so he opened up. 

“When I was a child, Otero wasn’t my only friend, I had another. Her name was Erawen, it’s a popular name, so don’t worry.” Rumarin tried to laugh, but his heart stung. He wanted to forget about the starry eyed Altmer girl that he loved so, but he couldn’t. 

“She was so beautiful, even back when were elflings. She was my best friend. She was my soulmate, I knew it. I felt it.” Rumarin smiled fondly, Erawen shifted her feet uncomfortably. 

“She told me she loved me and that she wanted to be with me, that I was her soulmate. We did everything together and I felt like I was finally complete.” Rumarin explained, his heart burning with agony. 

Tears trickled down his face and he wiped them away in a desperate attempt to be brave. 

“But she didn’t feel the same way in the end, she left without a reason why. She broke my heart and left me with no remorse, I thought I had done something wrong. She was everything to me and she just up and left me with no warning. It hurt so bad and I’m still not fully recovered from the agony.” Rumarin sobbed harder as he threw his face in his hands. 

Erawen moved away from him slowly, Rumarin noticed this and looked up slowly, he could see the expressions playing over Erawen’s face and it dawned on him. 

His face went from dejection to anger, he stood slowly. 

“It’s you!” He cried suddenly, pointing at the other Altmer, she bowed her head. Rumarin’s lip quivered violently, 

“Do you know the pain that you’ve inflicted on my all these years! Do have any idea how badly it hurt me? Leaving me with no warning! Telling me you loved me! If you loved me, you wouldn’t have left me in the first place!” Rumarin screamed, now Erawen was angry. 

“I didn’t have a choice!” She screamed back, Rumarin flared his nostrils, 

“You always have a choice! And you chose to break my heart and tear out my soul! I believed you were my soulmate!” He screamed, 

“I still am! And I still love you!” Erawen wailed. 

“How could you even say that?” Rumarin growled, Erawen approached him, 

“My father found out about the baby Rumarin!” She screamed, poking his chest. Rumarin stumbled as he was taken aback. 

“What baby?” He questioned, now Erawen was the one crying. 

“Our baby daughter, I was with child and my father forced me to terminate the pregnancy because he didn’t want his noble daughter being tainted by a commoner! Don’t you see? It wasn’t my choice, I wanted to leave with you and raise our daughter, but my father moved me away with my mother. Far away, to ensure we would never see each other again!” Erawen wailed, tears falling violently from her gorgeous face. 

“I didn’t want to leave you, I thought about you and our daughter every day and cried every single night. I loved you so much, I still do. It wasn’t fair what my father did, he was the one that tore us apart, not me.” Erawen shook her head with her tears falling. 

“Rumarin is also a common Altmer name, I didn’t think it was you, but I had my suspicions from the start. Especially after hearing about Otero.” She continued, she wiped her nose with her sleeve and went up to Rumarin and hugged him. 

“It’s me Ru, I’m back, please forgive me.” Erawen explained, Rumarin was even more hurt for different reasons now. How long had he blamed her for his heart ache when she was suffering worse. 

“There’s nothing to forgive, I was an ass, I’m sorry. Please if anyone needs forgiving its me. I shouldn’t have blamed you.” Rumarin explained, Erawen nuzzled into his chest, taking in his scent which immediately calmed her. 

“There’s nothing to forgive.” She hummed, it felt so good to be in his arms again, it brought back so many memories and healed so much heartache. Erawen sighed deeply and finished the conversation with a whisper, 

“I love you, Ru. I always have...”

“And I always will.”

This is my first time writing romance/fanfic. Mostly just roleplay stuff...so the story and my screen archery are pretty green. I write on the fly which is fun. I'm having issues with my short term memory and writing like this is great mental exercise. I love Rumarin and his interactions with my DB, it inspired me to write this story. Researching lore is so much fun and I love finding ways to exploit it for the story in a way that fits in universe. Anyway...

god I keep telling myself that I should start playing with custom voiced followers. I have heard so many great things about them by way of my friends who do have them downloaded - here is a list of the ones I have got my eyes on and plan to feature in some of my stories.

Inigo is my best friend's favourite - she once told me that having him in the game "is like playing with another person." He is the OG, or at least one of the first to pave the way of the custom follower scene. And him being a Khajiit is an automatic win in my book.

Xelzaz is among the favourites of another one of my friends, who picks him up in almost every playthrough of theirs. He's got an interesting backstory, stellar voice acting, and many useful in-game functionalities to aid you on your quests.

of course being the Altmer simp that I am, like you said, Rumarin is definitely going to show up in my game. I've heard that while Interesting NPC's "super-followers" like him tend to be praised, the less-prominent characters have a much more mixed reception... but like many other I am probably going to get this mod just for him... I have already designated him as the love interest of my non-canon/alternate universe LDB. from the videos of him I have watched, his dialogue is funny and his voice acting is not out of place compared to a vanilla Altmer's.

speaking of Altmer, there's also Nebarra, Caryalind, and Taliesin. I put these three together, despite them being from separate creators and not having any cross-mod interactions as far as I know, since unfortunately I do not know as much about them as the previous, aside them all being ex-Thalmor in some manner, which makes for an interesting dynamic that's already popping up in quite a handful of fanarts (a recent phenomenon, as Tally was only just recently released to the public). sometimes Rumarin joins them as the obligatory funny guy.

currently though, in my main/"canon" playthroughs that I am basing my longfic on, none of them appear - why this is I am not sure, considering the ones I listed are canon compliant as far as I know, but maybe it is because these kind of followers are typically tailored for Dragonborn characters (which I understand perfectly)... but out of the three protagonists of my fic, two of them are non-Dragonborn.

what I do have over there, however, is a small scattering of vanilla-styled modded followers, limited lines and all. and even then, I just leave most of them wandering around the taverns and towns just to breathe some extra life into Skyrim - but the ones my protagonists end up recruiting become deuteragonists in their own right.

this includes my own Feathers-Like-Smoke, a simplistic attempt to fill the void of female Argonian followers on Nexus (or at least, ones that aren't ridiculously sexualised) that I hope one day I can develop into a custom-voiced follower.

there is also a certain Altmer, perhaps the only vanilla-voiced follower of his race. a dollar store Rumarin, if you will: bisexual and more than a little snarky, but otherwise with none of the intricacies of a custom voiced follower. I am not allowed to have opinions on him, and we do not talk about how I yoinked him and fleshed him out to the point of practically making him an oc.

Thank you for the tags @dirty-bosmer (you had an amazing idea with this tag game!), @mareenavee, @blossom-adventures, you guys are the best <3 <3 This tag game is amazing, and while it was hard to pick favourites, I had so much fun, and looking back on my first chapters, I love to see the similarities, but also the differences. ‘Wherever you go, there you are’ is such a fulfilling and fun journey for me! Starting to write and post fanfic was the best decision ever, because not only did it boost my confidence and made me develop my own writing style, but it also lead me to meet some amazing people along the way. Just know that I appreciate every single one of you who reads my work/leaves kudos and comments/tags me in tag games/or interacts with my posts! I love this little community to pieces! But enough sappy ramblings, let’s get to the rules!

“I think I’d make a good bartender.” Inigo says, finally turning to them from the treasure chest, wearing a cravat and a monocle. Making exaggerated gestures with a golden goblet, decorated with small emeralds and putting on his most fancy accent, “May I take your order, my lord?”

“Ah, yes. Give me some of your most exquisite wine. I am, after all, a mer with expensive taste.” Rumarin responds in the same fashion while Ravonna and Lucien are laughing so hard the boat’s shaking.

“Very well, My lord. Coming right up!” and, to everyone’s surprise, he actually finds a bottle of Gods-know-what and opens it.

“Wait, did you get that out of the chest?” Ravonna asks with a mixture of amazement and concern.

“Yes, my lady. Do not worry. It is very exquisite indeed!”

“We’ll see about that. I’m a wine expert, after all.”

“Rumarin, are you sure that’s drinkable? It’s been there for hundreds of years at least!”

“You know, Lucien, I have a philosophy in life. A few, actually. One, wine would never hurt me. Two, always try to drink something that resembles wine, but you have to smell it first. And three… cheers, mate!” and he quickly downs the so-called wine, much to Lucien’s horror.

“Did he just do that? Did you just do that?”

“I did.” He grins.

“Well how is it?” Ravonna asks.

“It’s… exquisite.”

“I wanna try that!”

“Me too!” Inigo says, already looking for more fancy goblets.

“Guys I don’t think we should – ”

“Luci, the dremora pirate says everything’s fine to use. I guess this includes the wine. Now give me that bottle!” Ravonna grabs the bottle taking a careful sip. “By the Gods!”

“Well I’m not going to drink it, just in case y’all get poisoned and need someone to save the day.”

“Uuh, guys?”

“It’s fine, really. I know a thing or two about brewing. The older the wine, the better, and the more expensive, I tell you. My father had this wine back at the tavern, almost two hundred years old! I used to sneak in and take a few sips.” Ravonna laughs.

“Guys?”

“You know what? You’re right. And it’s definitely wine. I know wine when I tase it, or smell it, believe me. And I’ve got another philosophy for you, Lucien.”

“Guys?!?”

“What?” they all turn to Inigo, in unison.

“Please tell me I’m not the only one seeing masked people all dressed the same waiting for us at shore.”

“Shit, you’re right.”

Fun fact, this first chapter is one of m absolute favourites. I still remember the sheer amounts of excitement I felt while writing it!

*For the favourite chapter, I chose chapter 9, because the Skaal Village party, as well as all the metaphor of rebirth and the bonding that took place between the characters is so near and dear to my heart <3. Chapter 10 was a very close second, though! 

“I’m sorry.” She barely says between giggles. “It’s just so funny to me how life works.”

“What do you mean?”

“Well, some nights ago, we were killing each other, and now we’re almost fighting over who is supposed to be apologizing. How did we get here?!”

He laughs along with her, feeling lightheaded from the alcohol. “I have no idea. I'd call it a pleasant surprise.”

“Well then, let’s make most of it! I need another one of those magical shots, and they are a lot more fun to drink with somebody.” She says, getting up and offering her hand.

“There’s magic involved?” He says, taking her hand and trying to get up, but she lets go of his hand, falling on the snow. She was laughing again and she almost dragged him with her.

“Oh, Gods!” she gets up and shakes the dirt and snow off her robes. “I thought a man as well-read as you would be able to spot a figure of speech. I didn’t mean actual magic!”

“Oh, give me a break, vahdin (woman)! It’s been a long night and I haven’t had a drink in five millennia!”

“Whatever. Your fancy dragon words don’t make up for it!” She looks directly in his eyes. They’re close to each other. Just like in Apocrypha when she got up and in his face. The pose so similar, yet so different. Like looking in a mirror and seeing the complete opposite.

“Hi los ful brit. (You are so beautiful)”

“Shut up, s’wit.” She says, not understanding a word from his dovahzul, but her face doesn’t indicate any trace of anger.

“I know what that means.”

“You know everything, don’t you.”

He thinks for a moment. “Not everything, no. I’ve read books, yes, but I don’t know much about you.”

“Okay, alright. Here’s a fun fact about me: I really want to go take that shot.”

“Fiiiiiiine.” He lets himself get dragged to the main area of the party.

*For the most challenging, I chose chapter 11, because it legit took me two months to write this thing! The battle with Vahlok was someting that I kept putting off because it’s very action and angst filled and that can be tricky for me to write. Also, the Dovahzul language is killing me hahaha!

“Tiid fah hi wa kos nahlot ahrk dir (loosely: time for you to shut up and die)” Vahlok screeched, and shoved Ravonna into a wall as hard as he could with his telekinetic powers. This awakened something in Fenrik. Something he hasn’t felt since he killed his first dragon.

“Fin gein ahraan dii fahdonne (no one hurts my friends)!” Fenrik shouts, breaking free from his grip.

“Fahdonne?(Friends?)” Vahlok tilts his head in bewilderment. “Un fron lost nid fahdonne, sonaak! (Our kind has no friends, dragon priest!)” He says in a mocking tone.

“Tol los ni wo zu'u los! Ni alun aan ziist tiid! (Loosely: That is not who I am! Not anymore and not ever again!)” and with that, he strikes him with a sparks spell and all hell breaks loose.

Okay so we got the LDB dying on our blorbos but what about the LDB becoming the next big bad? As last anon said, they are practically a demigod. Who would take them down? Who would join them because well, surely the LDB has a reason for this?

OOOH I LOVE THIS

Kaidan: I'm a bit conflicted because on one hand, he's generally very "I don't have a right to say anything about this because of what I've done" but I also think he has to draw a line somewhere. I don't think he'd have the heart to take them out, though.

But do I want to see him become the evil right hand to the ldb? Lean into the "I'd kill for you, I'd die for you without question" trope? Absolutely, I think that would be very sexy of him.

Rumarin: He's along for the ride. He's wearing guyliner and black leather for the vibes. He's pretty much avoiding the bad parts of the arrangement and thriving.

To the public, he kind of seems like the ldb's jester of the dark court and an irrational attachment. The ldb clearly has a soft spot for him, and honestly, that could be their downfall.

Inigo: He'd join at first- have a little fun, play along like Rumarin and whatnot, but I think he'd turn depending on how they acted and how he was treated. If the ldb becomes this full-on tyrant that acts cold towards him, I think he might try to take them down. He'd be devastated, but if he felt it was the right thing to do, he would do it.

Lucien: I honestly think he'd just leave, but I'd give anything to see Evil Lucien. Like, imagine the ldb offering him the chance to gain infinite knowledge and power and he decides fuck it and takes it.

The wicked court mage with all the ldb's resources to do whatever he wanted. Quickly, he'd become one of the most powerful and notorious mages in Tamriel. He'd make a name for himself, not in the way he would have ever imagined, but he'd like it.

Caryalind: Evil Cary would be so fucking cool, but I can't see it happening. If he saw the ldb literally turn into his father before his eyes, he wouldn't stand for it. He's trying to separate himself from that life and do good. He'd do anything in his power to prevent another tyrant from existing, even if it meant having to take down someone he loved.

Nebarra: He encouraged this, he's having the time of his life. His maniacal laughter can be heard throughout the ldb's castle all hours of the day.

He'd be one of those evil advisors rubbing their hands together behind their ruler and whispering "let me kill them, my liege" in their ear.
