#12 Deadpool

Deadpool is a piece of revolution for the R-Rating, because of the action and comedy, that goes from beginning to end. One of the more unconventional and violent superhero movies also turns out to be one of the better ones. Ryan Reynold's brutally honest sense of humour and high-caliber is making the film even better! I really enjoyed this movie and I didn't expect to, I didn't have high hopes, but this movie was amazing. It was funny, violent and action packed. A really good thing about this movie is that it was different to a lot of comedy's, which easily could've made this movie a disappointment. But it was a great movie and is one of the best comedy's I have watched. If you haven't watched this yet you should definitely give it a try.

katya's secret fear

(yes this is because there's a thunderstorm going on rn that i'm anxious about. yes it is 2 am. shh.)

the thunder boomed, and katya flinched into herself, her dark curly hair messy and unravelled around her face.

her one irrational fear, the one she never told anyone about. she was terrified of storms.

katya was sitting with her knees to her chest on the medical table that she now slept on, her eyes dark with an unpredictable light. fear always brought out the worst in her, making her snappy and rude.

it had been a week and a half of pain. every day, the same shocks, administered through her other arm. finally she had passed out during one of the sessions, still adamantly refusing to kill any of her friends on the stupid vr headset, and they had sent her to a medic and gave her a few days' break. but the masked woman had said they'd start again tomorrow.

she had hoped that her friends would have saved her by now.

katya bitterly recalled the day she had traded her life for phoebe's after going off alone to search for her. phoebe had been let out, barely able to walk, but alive. in exchange for katya's life, or what remained of it.

she wondered what phoebe was doing now, was she thinking of katya? was she wondering how katya was coping with the storm?

a mean little voice in her head told her she probably wasn't.

what if her enemies were right? what if they had forgotten all about katya?

"don't let them get to you." she muttered to herself.

"let who get to you?" kira, the masked woman's young assistant who had finally revealed her face a few days ago, came into the room, and asked the dumbest question of the century.

"huh. are you here to- what? break me once and for all?" katya said sarcastically, her breathing heavy.

"ii'm here to take yyour vitals." the girl said shakily as she wheeled the cart up to katya.

"just hurry it up," she growled out. kira nodded and pressed the temperature reader against her forehead, then put the cuff on her arm and the monitor on her finger. the throbbing, ever present pain from the burn in her forearm worsened from the pressure above it, and she barely managed to keep silent.

"your heart rrate's up, are yyou scared of storms?" kira asked as she removed the equipment.

"...get out." panic rose from a place deep in her gut.

"i'm sorry?"

"i said GET OUT!" katya screamed, shoving kira back with wild, shaky hands. the girl made a squeaky noise as if she were a mouse, and darted out of the room pulling the cart along behind her before slamming the door.

katya curled in on herself further, sobs wracking her body as the thunder struck again.

you know, a cool thing ive noticed is that. like usually when artists key change at the end of song, its almost always going Up. kurage-p likes to do it all the time like here he goes from C#m to Dm (2:38ish). very much an Up movement

but Hello Marina by inabakumori always was a big standout to me cuz instead of doing that it falls from F#maj to Fmaj (2:33ish)

and it sounds like, Weird but in a good way imo like. it flows so seamlessly i love it, it adds such a good vibe.

also worth noting that they actually start the song is in the key of Fmaj but they go up to F#maj at the first chorus and stay there until the climax of the song around 2:30. maybe the shift to a lower key felt more natural cuz the listeners ear subconsciously knew what the original key was? like the key was already familiar to us so it feels right to go back there. or maybe it was just a well done key change.

i actually had no idea they went up a key at the first chorus until i started to write this all down so that was really cool. the first chorus comes in after having a good bit of emptiness so maybe thats why. but its cool, the key change wasnt used to elevate the hype of the song i think, it was more to throw the listener off. which isnt new but i feel like going up a half step is used more for Hyping up a song while like, a full step or any other form of key change is more easily used to throw the listener off.

rrating for this but the bass uses a lot of half step motion in this song so that might like, be a reason why too

itll do the slap bass stuff but then it slides at a high pitch, that slide at the high pitch is the half step motion

so maybe all the large emphasis on half step motion by the bass is training the listener for half step key changes

half step key change comes in and its more natural than itd usually be?
