The final artwork I had in my queue, Cross - a man of mystery. A neutral figure in the political web of the criminal underground, Cross and his motley group of similarly-dressed masked individuals seem to be searching for something entangled within the bigger picture.
While he has taken an interest in Elistair’s party as a piece of the greater picture, his involvement is hard to determine, often showing up to scenes of conflict briefly, before disappearing while the clashing groups are duelling.
This was the last of my queued posts - while I’ll be too busy for the next month to really get much done artistically, hopefully I’ll be able to post more in future.

Oriatta Solwyn, the elder Solwyn sister and a surprisingly skilled fencer. While Rudine is the more serious of the two, Oriatta is surprisingly sweet and reserved under her socialite guise of confidence, due to the two’s shared, heavily theological past.
Due to being born with a dormant lethal illness, she requires Rudine’s assistance to stay alive, leading to her idolisation of Rudine as her saviour. Ultimately, the two of them fight for profit in the hopes of eventually curing her illness so that they can settle down without worry of untimely death.

Here’s one of the earlier opponents Elistair has to deal with, Rudine Solwyn. A capable tactician mercenary under the employ of one of the major factional leaders, Typhian, Rudine maintains her presence on the battlefield with calculated strategies and applying bolstering effects to her allies. With her sister, Oriatta fighting on the frontlines, she maintains control from the back.
Only working for Typhian for the money, she is later bought off by Elistair and coerced into joining his party, with the promise that he’ll amass the requisite funds and practitioners to help cure Oriatta of her life-threatening illness.

A fresh face - Kozica Myridian, the disgruntled gypsy engineer. A traveller who is always accompanied by her companion, Savannah, she seems to have a loose treatment of life in general, usually seen with a lit cigarette.
She notably found a common interest with Leviss, being their fondness for the construction of machines - namely, the engineering and programming that goes into it, respectively.
Notably, unlike many other Vysus who wear masks as a cultural symbol, Kozica forgoes her mask, choosing not to hide her unique markings from the public.

The mysterious individual known as “Charon” is rarely seen on the battlefield, but seems to have connections to the Sentillia clan, working undercover to fulfil his duties.
Despite his seeming involvement with Zan and the rest of the Sentillia clan, his objectives and actions are often contradictory to the modus operandi of their military-like strategies, occasionally supporting Elistair’s group or hindering them. Zan claims that he doesn’t know Charon, though there seems to be a deeper conflict between the two.
One thing’s for certain however, his real name probably isn’t “Charon”.

Zan Raguel, redesigned and ready to go.
The youngest member of the UTA cast at the fresh age of 18, Zan is an envoy sent by his faction, the Sentillia Clan, to “supervise” Elistair’s party as a form of goodwill, in exchange for future favours. A weapons engineer, Zan finds a lot of joy tinkering with his simple rifle and bayonet, ironic considering that the fatality rate of the street-duels are quite low to due modern medical advances.
While he describes himself as an “elite fighter” to represent the Sentillia Clan, his modesty and proclivities seem to indicate otherwise, despite the top-notch quality of his tools...

Ah, here comes the deuteragonist, Deavie Dagonhart!
Once a reclusive, home-schooled girl who stayed in her house all day making a living through paper-craft, she was forced out of her comfort zone after a letter from her mother urges her to find her after the city curfew begins...
She eventually ends up getting tangled in the political strife of the underground street duels, meeting Elistair and becoming a fighter herself in order to learn more about the world and eventually find her mother.
I’m not quite happy with her design or colour choice yet, as there were several difficulties with designing her outfit and her species, so expect a rework some point in future.

Here’s our local information-gatherer and “tactician”, Leviss Vinlock! Don’t worry, his “dead-inside” look is probably just because he didn’t have a particularly good morning. Probably.
He’s currently working with Elistair in his little “political campaign” in the underground duelling circuit of the city they both live in, due to his past friendship with the Yaega. Emphasis on the “past”, as there are still some unresolved conflicts between the two. Still, he’ll do his best to gather info and compile dossiers on their opponents and opposing factions, increasing their chances of victory.

First up in my queue of character posts is Elistair Daivoll, previously known as Eliwood. A lot has changed in the Under the Aether setting, so keep that in mind, as all of the older posts on this blog are probably inaccurate presentations of the characters nowadays.
Now, he’s a fairly regular Yaega - nothing supernatural with him or the setting. No special powers here, folks! Unsatisfied with his city’s political structure due to a trio of factions secretly controlling most of the governing body, Elistair uses his father’s previous connections in the underground culture of the city to leverage a spot in the secret street-duels taking place in the city after curfew. In doing so, he hopes to eventually reform the system and clean things up.
I’ll create a more detailed introduction to the Under the Aether setting in its current state at a later point, but for now, he’s the first character you’ll see.
A lot of the characters and designs are subject to change in future, as I gain more artistic and writing prowess, so hopefully I’ll continue to refine his design as well as everyone else’s.

I was lucky enough to snag a character on the Fire Emblem Compendium on the third day, so here's my entry - Merlinus, the humble transporter. He's a great fellow, so it was another learning experience in my artistic journey. It feels good to be part of something greater, definitely!

Ahh, I posted this before but Tumblr ate it. Anyways, here's an Eliwood picture I made a few months back - it was my second real foray into digital art at least, so I still have a lot to learn.

I finally finished a watercolour of Eliwood and Lewis, with their casual outfits on. Eliwood’s design hasn’t been fully solidified as I’m still designing his race further to differentiate them from humans more, but he’s coming along.

Ah, about time I finished something. Here’s an Eliwood I made for a colour palette challenge - my first time utilising shading and digital colours, so it was very much a learning experience.
Criticism appreciated as usual!
