Hello, America! I'm in awe of your grizzly bears, they're so strong and beautiful! Odd how stereotypically they only call me the snowy land of the bears, while in reality we have a lot in common. Would you mind telling me more about grizzlies? Maybe you'll even show me one? If you're not afraid of them, of course...

'Course I'm not afraid! They're classified as "U. a. horribilis" but they're not horrible if you're careful! Grizzlies are great! Their claws are long and good for digging, they have a BIG OL' HUMP on their shoulders, and short, round little ears! Their bite can crush a bowling ball!

They're also legally protected in my whole country! 🇺🇸

We're working on repopulation, but it might take a while 'cuz the process for them is kinda slow. Many spend around 5-7 months hibernating, too.

On average they live about 22-26 years.

Didja know when grizzly bears mate with polar bears, the babies are called grolar bears or pizzly bears?? Hahahaha!

Do you have any crazy fan stories to share? Have you had any issues with humans who are too obsessed with you?

If not, how would you handle such a situation? For example, someone entering your home while you are away and finding the intruder sleeping in your bed.

No human has really behaved like that towards me....Felicks has definitely crossed some boundaries, but he is mostly harmless these days. That and his shenanigans aren't that bad, they keep life interesting at least.

We've been talking with Russia-san recently and it turned out that in both our cultures whistling is believed to bring bad luck. He thinks the one who whistles will have no money, while my people believe whistling at night can attract snakes. Do you have any superstitions like that?

Hmmmmm.. I don't have any supersitions about whistling, If I recall correctly. However, we do have a supersition that placing a baguette face down means a hunger curse may befall you or anyone who eats it. But according to Flavors of Paris, you can undo the curse simply by drawing a cross with your knife on the flat side of the baguette before eating it.
