Back down to Anarchy Bay. The small inkling was holding an orange binder tightly to her chest as she stepped off the train and walked through the busy streets of the beach town. She had once again arrived after sunset, hoping that any she would find the Salmonid-owned hat shop empty of customers.

She slowly opened the door, not even saying anything, knowing that the shopkeepers inside would recognize her immediately by smell alone. So she only waited to see who would greet her.

Just finished decorating The Hooded Fisherman for The Celebration of the Cycle!! It's a Salmonid Holiday I celebrate around this time. While Squidmas and FrostyFest are still fun holidays I celebrate with my family, we focus a lot more on this holiday that comes from the ocean.

This holiday is a week-long celebration at the end of the year, starting around the time the Inkfish based, old human inspired holiday Squidmas is celebrated and goes through to New Years. The Celebration of the Cycle is exact as it sounds: it's a holiday celebrating the cycle of life and how good it is to be a part of the cycle. To Salmonids, worshipping the cycle is vital, and their culture very heavily depends on this. The holiday is a way to give thanks and celebrate this wonderful cycle and appreciate life while one has it.

The main things the holiday does is raise morale and let some Salmonids, like those in the army, let off steam and lower stress levels. This is achieved through many activities, including huge feasts throughout the week, the largest one being on the final day, gift exchanges, singing and dancing with traditional music, large gatherings, and so many more activities to celebrate the joy of being alive in the cycle. It's also really cool seeing the fireworks that are released every other day in the week!!

For what me and my parents do, we mainly just exchange gifts and eat a lot. This year I got my hands on some fireworks that I'm planning on setting off on New Years evening.

I appreciate all the hard work Shallow and Haggy do for us. They work their tails off not just supporting us, but supporting others and fighting for a cause they believe in. I couldn't ask for better parents.

Anyways that's the post!! Hope y'all learned something cool today, and if you see illegal fireworks on New Years, no you didn't

He hides his reddish face behind it with a cheesy grin before presenting it to the other. His nose twitches slightly and he flicks at it with his finger in slight irritation, but he doesn't let the smile leave his face as the flower is offered their way.

As it is the final day of the Celebration of the Cycle, tonight is gonna be LIT.

We had a really big feast tonight. Shallow made an AMAZING seafood boil using crab legs, shrimp, and clam. It tasted so good, seriously guys, Shallow is an amazing cook and knows how to make a meal unforgettable (when she locks in). I'm honestly very stuffed because of it, but I did get a nice cakey dessert, which was just a amazing topper (couldn't finish my cake though).

We're currently preparing for the best part of tonight, and that's the FIREWORKS. Haggy got her fins on a few really good fireworks that should work with the Grizzco-stolen Big Shot cannon I stole this morning. We've spent our evening fixing the thing up and testing it (thats why peeps in Splatsville keep hearing blasts and seeing sparks of light. Trust me, it's gonna get bigger and better from here). Anyways, the reason the fireworks are so good are because Haggy got them from Salmonid waters, as she was able to contact a few from a nearby tribe to lend some. She's always had a way with talking to people and getting them to like her.

YEAH so tonight is gonna be lit. Splatsville should thank us for the show we're gonna put on for New Years and this grand finale for the Celebration of the Cycle. I hope y'all have a wonderful night, and remember that life is a gift, so seize the moment and be yourself :3
