POV:You’re at a banger Goetia party and the hostess is bullying her husband again. Her cackle is shrill and it fills the entire room. There’s a few things that goes her way in terms of agreeableness and some other things that don’t. For one, she’s really not a bad hostess. The cakes are delicacies and the alcohol is aged finely. The music is pleasant and she’s actually pretty funny when the jokes aren’t aimed at her husband’s expense. Her husband…that’s the only uncomfortable thing about the mood. Is him standing near by looking dreadful and depressed. The feeling must be mutual, because there’s a hidden layer of genuine pain and anger behind stella’s wild humorous eyes, but you can’t help but wonder if her ire at Stolas is fully founded at all.

“My silly husband is always screeching his woes and hawking on about Spanish soap operas again. One time I stepped out the hallways and he screamed like a girl. I swear he sounded like a woman. Isn’t that hilarious? Anyway, more drinks. “

Back down to Anarchy Bay. The small inkling was holding an orange binder tightly to her chest as she stepped off the train and walked through the busy streets of the beach town. She had once again arrived after sunset, hoping that any she would find the Salmonid-owned hat shop empty of customers.

She slowly opened the door, not even saying anything, knowing that the shopkeepers inside would recognize her immediately by smell alone. So she only waited to see who would greet her.

Just finished decorating The Hooded Fisherman for The Celebration of the Cycle!! It's a Salmonid Holiday I celebrate around this time. While Squidmas and FrostyFest are still fun holidays I celebrate with my family, we focus a lot more on this holiday that comes from the ocean.

This holiday is a week-long celebration at the end of the year, starting around the time the Inkfish based, old human inspired holiday Squidmas is celebrated and goes through to New Years. The Celebration of the Cycle is exact as it sounds: it's a holiday celebrating the cycle of life and how good it is to be a part of the cycle. To Salmonids, worshipping the cycle is vital, and their culture very heavily depends on this. The holiday is a way to give thanks and celebrate this wonderful cycle and appreciate life while one has it.

The main things the holiday does is raise morale and let some Salmonids, like those in the army, let off steam and lower stress levels. This is achieved through many activities, including huge feasts throughout the week, the largest one being on the final day, gift exchanges, singing and dancing with traditional music, large gatherings, and so many more activities to celebrate the joy of being alive in the cycle. It's also really cool seeing the fireworks that are released every other day in the week!!

For what me and my parents do, we mainly just exchange gifts and eat a lot. This year I got my hands on some fireworks that I'm planning on setting off on New Years evening.

I appreciate all the hard work Shallow and Haggy do for us. They work their tails off not just supporting us, but supporting others and fighting for a cause they believe in. I couldn't ask for better parents.

Anyways that's the post!! Hope y'all learned something cool today, and if you see illegal fireworks on New Years, no you didn't

Shaking hands flick at the silver lighter in his palm as he attempts to light a cigarette on his way out. A small sniffle given, rubbing tiredly at his sunken eyes. He's trying to slip out to get to work without being stopped, but the other is making it rather hard for him to rush out the door.
