John Olsen (May 25, 1938 - 2019) was a Danish artist who trained first af the Royal Copenhagen Porcelain factory and then at the Academy. He worked with the natural world - first with bronze figurines of birds, and later with cabinets juxtaposing found natural objects and rarities - a take on the old idea of a cabinet of curiosities.
He also did works on paper, for instance a series of drawings made in his sauna, where the heat and humidity put its stamp on the works - as did the artist's sweat!

What are some things you guys collect?
I'll go first
Antique display plates ft. nature, such as Royal Copenhagen Christmas plates
Pokemon cards (and some figures/plushies)
Kutani style cobalt blue porcelain pieces
Books (usually fiction and graphic novels), especially hardcover editions
Antiquated drinkware (we're talking fancy steins, drinking horns, blue salt glaze/cobalt blue German stoneware, patterned porcelain tea cups/mugs, etc.)
Pusheen stuff
Vintage colored glassware (a particular favorite of mine is a pink chicken basket)
Handmade ceramic pieces with cool designs or glaze patterns
Napier seasonal/holiday brooches
Various other antiques, as the fancy strikes me (one example is a beautiful little silver Japanese salt and pepper set of a floral branch with two removable songbirds)
Swords/daggers/knives, etc
Some Sanrio stuff (mostly Cinnamoroll)
Viking, Celtic, Saxon, American Frontier, Maritime/Age of Sail, early-mid medieval European, and late 1700's-early 1900's period related items. Idk lol there's. a lot
Chopstick sets and decorative noodle/rice bowls

Knud Kyhn (March 17, 1880 - 1969) was a Danish animal and landscape painter and porcelain/ceramics sculptor, who created many animal figurines for the three major, Danish porcelain factories: Royal Copenhagen, Bing & Grøndahl, and Kähler.
He trained at the Royal Academy and Zahrtmann's school, and traveled widely to observe animals and birds, esp. in Northern Europe. His style of painting aligns with that of Fynboerne, esp. Johannes Larsen.

I know this post is from 2017 but I came across it and couldn't not share what my little rabbithole search found.
Erik Nielsen (1857-1947), was a danish sculptor and modeller. He was a designer for the Royal Danish Porcelain Manufactory from 1887 to 1926 and mainly produced animal sculptures. Source
This is only one of the many sculptures he's made. This is a website with more of them but here's also some of my favorites:

"Mouse on sugar", Royal Copenhagen, 1923

"Yawning Cat", Royal Copenhagen, 1905
