I’ve been admiring Mage’s stellar work ever since I first discovered their project, Dream Along With Me, so I’m very glad to have been able to join their DTIYS (as my very first time participating in one! 🎉) and be a part of this well deserved celebration on time… It’s been a fun rush to draw their Roy! :oD

And to Mage; my sincerest congratulations on the inspiring quality of your content and everything you’ve accomplished so far! Whether it is starry dreams or static nightmares, I’ll certainly be looking forward to discovering what the lands of Dreamalong have in store for us viewers! 👁️✨

Roy's always prepared for the rain, with his trusty umbrella! That's why you should be prepared, too! You should always carry one around, even in the middle of a drought. Or you can just buy one for like $3. Or just hold some sheet metal over your head to deflect the rain. Or a board of wood if there's lightning out. OR a bin of plastic if there's termites blowing about in the wind!

Point is, he's not sharing and he already spent $3 on his own umbrella. He's not made of money.

I love when a guy has a TV for a head.

i love how people are like “left is blue and right is literally purple it has more red.” and like they’re WRONG like factually the pic on the right is just pure light blue, but LOOKS purple because what was ingrained into our head of what “blue” is ONLY the absence of red. examples being the ocean, which only looks blueish because the molecular shape of water doesn’t reflect red. it’s technically a greenish blue but a lot of people don’t really consider that until a certain point. where as ACTUAL blue and only blue things look purple to us because we’re so used to yellow being present in what we call “blue”

Isaac newton LITERALLY made this same mistake when creating “roy g biv” because he mistook cyan for “blue” and actual blue with “indigo” it’s funny that this is still apparent today.

that’s why turquoise , cyan, etc looks “blue” to us, while indigo (which isn’t blue either to clarify) DOESNT look blue. the lack of red is so prominent in our personal definition of blue, that the lack of yellow MAKES it look purple.

Red

As Captain Hengar poured himself a drink, Alexis eyed the others who’d been pull into this… Whatever this was. Lounging against a shelf filled with parchments, ink pots and other errata was a tall, broad human. He wore rough-treated hides, his flame-red hair and beard woven through with beads and bones. A barbarian then.

Orange

Yellow

The journey back took many weeks. Slowly the dusty yellow of the Desert of Skulls gave way to the khaki and dun greens of the Flatlands, which melded into the lush waving grasses of the Pagan Plains. The humping grey stone of Toreguard’s walls were a welcome sight as they grew larger on the horizon.

Green

Alexis turned her attention to the blond elf who leant next to the door, his arms crossed. At his hip was a quiver of arrows, his bow propped within easy reach. From the mottled green of his armour he could only be one thing: A forest ranger.

Blue

At the entrance to the great hall their envoy stopped, halted by the castle steward. The Lieutenant rapped out a series of commands. His men scattered in an orderly fashion to disparate points of the room as he and the steward spoke. To keep her heart from racing, Alexis glanced over the room. It was tall and narrow, a long carpet of rich blue and gilt edges forming an aisle over the parquet flooring. High along the walls rose a series of etched windows. One single, giant window of stained glass rose behind the throne on it's little dais, framing the figure who sat there.

This makes me so happy someone understands as yes my favorite color (violet/) purple tied with black, yet I agree ZERO BAD TINT. I even count indigo as purple adjacent, I mean look at how beautiful this hue is.

HUGE shout out to purple for being the only color that has like no losers. Deep purple royal purple bluish purple redish purple pastel purple dusty purple lavender periwinkle violet like. Banger after banger after banger!!
