Sgt Paulo Madden - Sgt Paulo Madden is Sgt Floyd Pepper's parodie cousin counterpart, he is the saxophone player in the colorful groove band, And he is Anders' love interest. His headcanon voice actor is Parvesh Cheena, And his voice claim is Raj from Craig of the creek.

Petunia Crazenia - Petunia Crazenia is Animal's parodie cousin counterpart, she plays the marimba instrument in the colorful groove band, And she gets along with animal very well since theyre both energetic And Crazy. Sadee - sadee is Lips' parodie cousin counterpart, she plays the clarinet And even bagpipe in the colorful groove band, she is the Calm one in the band And she is Roxanne's love interest. Her headcanon voice actress is Eliza Schneider, And her voice claim is Liane cartman from South Park.

Roxanne - Roxanne is zoot's parodie cousin counterpart, she plays the chimes in the colorful groove band, she is the sort of arrogant And quiet Lady, she is sadee's love interest. Her headcanon voice actress is Casey Wilson, And her voice claim is Felina Meow from littlest pet shop.

my silly rendition of my friend’s dtiys !! c!pumpkinduo were not the best for each other. i can imagine their relationship was, to put it short, very toxic.

wanted to resemble that through this piece :) c!quackity’s wings and eye bleeding to the hands of c!schlatt (which is more of a personal headcanon than canon), and schlatt’s heart being torn out by quackity likewise.

i fell in love with the bittersweet melancholy that the piece turned out to show. 🫶 it’s almost unintentionally a parody off of my own tntduo dtiys, but put into a completely different light. :]

changed the original text a bit! “we’re really not that different now, are we?”, referring to how they almost fed off of each other in their relationship. schlatt’s heart, quackity’s wings. neither of them were very good for each other in the past.

Jen Tortures Herself With Every Dreamworks Animated Movie Ever: Megamind

So surprisingly, this is one movie I've never actually seen before outside of all of the memes and all of the love people tend to shower upon it, and after finally seeing it for myself... yeah, I totally get why. Megamind is based as fuck, ya'll.

We focus on, of course, Megamind, who is a supervillain who terrorizes Metro City and is opposed by the heroic Metro Man. At least until Megamind seems to successfully defeat Metro Man, leaving Metro City in his hands and quickly leading him into wanting more than just power alone. While in disguse, he ends up striking up a romance with Roxanne, a local reporter, and at the same time, he ends up creating a new opponent for him to fight to curb his growing boredum in the nerdy (incel) Hal, who quickly becomes more of a villain himself than the hero Megamind wanted him to be. So of course, this leads to all sorts of chaos and hijinks, and while you might think that plot sounds too complicated for its own good, I can surprisingly say, it really isn't!

Yeah, all of the moving pieces here work so well together, interwoven into a really compelling story with some pretty solid emotions and some great character moments. It helps that our cast itself is fantastic; Megamind is such a good lead, he's a genuis, but he's also totally socially graceless and is an absolute lovable goober as a result, one who comes to realize that he can be more than the "villain" stereotype he believed he was forced into being from childhood. Roxanne is also a really good leading lady; she's funny and snarky and has really great chemistry with Megamind throughout.

Metro Man doesn't get a ton of screentime, but he's a great parody on the usual superhero tropes, while Minion is the perfect right hand man (fish?) to Megamind in every way. Even our villain, Hal, or as he comes to be called, Titan, works really well here; he's the kind of asshole who just doesn't take no for an answer that we can all justifably hate (but he's also hilarious in his own right).

The animation is also really great here. I find that Dreamworks movies tend to look their best when their characters are highly stylized, and that's what we get a lot of here. We get a lot of really fun action scenes, both in terms of fighting and Megamind's tech. and strangely enough the special effects here (things like fabric and particle effects, etc) really stood out to me, they were all super well done.

The humor is absolutely fantastic here. It's not as adult as some of Dreamworks earlier days, but instead it relies more on who these characters are and how they interact with each other. I think one of my favorite running gags is Megamind obliviously mispronouncing various words (like school and Metro City). There's a bunch of small bits just like that throughout the movie, and they're all so fast paced and well delivered by a really stellar voice cast. The emotions also strike a cord here; there aren't any tearjerker moments, but you really do feel Megamind's growth here as he falls in love and eventually decides to become the hero he never thought he could be.

So yeah, I really enjoyed this one! It's a shame it took me this long to watch it, because it was super enjoyable all the way through. Also amazing that it never really spawned any legit sequels, but I heard its getting a show next year, so idk. I am probs not gonna watch it. Movie good tho, give it a watch if ya haven't.

Scrappypasta - The Sodas of Nightmares (or if LN had soda drinks). As well as my first time drawing Low and Alone (and Noone too) fully detailed instead of as silhouettes, I hope they look good.

To explain how I got this idea - Basically I was watching NotRealName NotAtAll's second video on FNAF hot takes, and 24:15-26:00 a hot take said that the 'Fizzy Faz' has a bad selection of flavours, being almost entirely citrus fruits, as well as saying that it would've been nice if the other characters from Security Breach had gotten Fizzy Faz sodas too. And suggestions were made on which of the existing Fizzy Fazes could be different flavours, as well as suggesting soda flavours for Sun, Moon, Glamrock Bonnie, and DJ Music Man.

It also showed that Roxanne has a second flavour, cola, which is limited edition.

I saw this, then my mind went to the LN protagonists and said 'What if there were (made up) sodas themed after them'? This idea left me temporarily, then came back stronger, so I decided to finally draw it. And with one of the FNAF SB characters having another flavour, albeit limited edition, I decided to give a limited edition flavour to the two most popular (and iconic) protags as well:

I’m making my way through 100%-ing Hi-Fi Rush and I have so many fucking questions about Kale and his motives. And yeah, he can be boiled down to “evil corporate CEO that just wants more customers/more money” but like. I need to know how he got to that point considering Roxanne is the exact opposite of him in regard to how they conduct business. So I have a bunch of questions about that whole thing under the cut. Disclaimer that this might sound like I’m making up excuses for Kale’s behaviour or try to villainize his family but I’m just sort of posing hypotheticals and don’t consider any of these real options, they’re more like theories.

Did he hate his family so much that he decided to be the exact opposite of them?

The creator of Hi-Fi Rush has stated that while Kale has no listed age, he places him at about 38, giving a 15-year age gap between him and Peppermint. Roxanne is also stated to have created a rift within her family by throwing herself into her work and there’s no mention of Kale and Peppermint’s dad, so chances are that Kale was left in charge of his sister, who took all of their mom’s attention as Kale states that he’s not the favourite. Did he look at Roxanne doing everything for other people and decide he wasn’t going to be like that? If he didn’t “decide” to be the opposite, maybe it subconsciously wormed its way in there after being forced to essentially be a parent in high school?

Did he genuinely believe he was doing the right thing with SPECTRA?

I always find it interesting that Kale frames SPECTRA as “freeing” consumers from choices. I wonder if there was a tiny bit of truth to that in that he somehow thought he was doing something right. His blurb in the model viewer does say that he doesn’t want to do much work (again, probably after seeing Roxanne ignore them in favour of work) but he overcomplicates his plans when trying to find ways to avoid work (like the whole fucking back-up plan). But also maybe he thought he was doing the right thing in that, again, he grew up poor and got it in his head that finding whatever way to increase his profits (read: financial security) is the best thing/would get his mother to stop working/would make her proud of him. Or maybe he did think this was a morally correct choice as his overactive imagination (ok I know the vlogs in the SPECTRA room are parodying other video games and just for the gag but this still kinda means Kale is coming up with wild fucking shit) prevents him from making choices on what to do and he thinks everyone has this sort of paralysis in getting things done?

What happened to the dad?

Did he leave and this was part of the rift that caused the kids to drift away from Roxanne? Is he dead? Is Kale somehow responsible and/or blamed for it or thinks either Peppermint or Roxanne are responsible for it?

Why is Peppermint the favourite?

Similar personalities? Is it because Peppermint was better at engineering and programming than Kale was? Bias towards the younger sibling? Does Kale look too much like his dad? Did Roxanne see him at his worst and decide not to touch those issues with a 40-foot pole? I NEED TO KNOW.

What is The Accident?

What kind of accident did Peppermint go through? Is someone to blame? Did the dad get hurt/die because of it? Were Kale and Roxanne caught in the same accident? Kale’s blurb only says that he replaced his body, but it could be that he needed to replace his body, perhaps because of an accident? Roxanne made Peppermint’s leg - if Kale was also in the same accident, wouldn’t she have made something for him too? (Meaning that either she didn’t make anything personal for him and he did what he needed with company tech or she did and he replaced it, I’m getting sidetracked) What if Kale caused the accident somehow? What if Peppermint did? What if Roxanne did? What if I’m reading too much into it?

Did Kale meet the department heads before or after he took over?

Are they friends or just coworkers? Did they influence him to become the corporate scumbag he is presently? Did he influence them?

Did Kale actually make SPECTRA?

Peppermint makes it clear that he stole the idea for Project Armstrong from their mom and that he’s taking credit for everything she did. I know this is meant to be commentary on CEOs acting like they are doing work when it’s the lower level workers that are actually doing everything. So like, does Kale actually have any tech literacy at all or does he just profit off of others? And again, he wants to do the least amount of work possible. Also, if he didn’t actually make the AI, then who did and why? If he didn’t actually make it, is it another one of Roxanne’s projects? Zanzo’s? Third party supervillain who we might see in a sequel?

My Five Favorite Movie Villains of 2022

De Guiche (Cyrano): A pompous, foppish aristocrat that wields his wealth and influence like a blunt instrument, Ben Mendelsohn’s De Guiche adds a delicious complication to the love triangle that drives Cyrano’s conflict. As far as he’s concerned, romance doesn’t exist; sexual relationships are all about power and control. This philosophy essentially positions him as the witty, strong-willed Roxanne’s antithesis—making his lecherous obsession with her all the more unsettling. His show-stopping song, “What I Deserve”, is a chilling ode to male entitlement and toxic masculinity.

Namor (Black Panther: Wakanda Forever): Regal. Machiavellian. Sexy as hell. Marvel’s original antihero is as complex and compelling on the big screen as he’s always been on the page: physically imposing yet deviously manipulative, temperamental yet sensitive, vindictive yet honorable. While he favors shock and awe tactics, absolutely devastating Wakanda’s forces in every skirmish, the leader of Talokan is also a cunning strategist and shrewd diplomat; even his eventual “defeat” ultimately benefits his empire—exactly as he orchestrated.

Miles Quaritch (Avatar: The Way of Water): Gleefully sadistic and unabashedly egomaniacal, the resurrected Colonel Miles Quaritch is machismo and bravado incarnate—a brutish jarhead with delusions of grandeur. His quest to avenge his own death at the hands of Jake Sully and Neytiri is motivated primarily by wounded pride; indeed, when he learns that his hated foe managed to tame his flying mount without the aid of sedatives, he becomes determined to mimic the feat—an act of petty one-upmanship that reveals everything the audience needs to know about his character.

AJ Gilbride (Barbarian): What makes Justin Long’s unrepentant rapist so disturbing is that there’s nothing especially remarkable about his particular brand of evil; he’s simply an enormous douchebag, selfish and utterly devoid of empathy. Worst of all, he’s completely self-aware, frequently apologizing for his morally repugnant behavior and promising to change his wicked ways. Whenever an opportunity for redemption arises, however, he consistently rejects it—which makes his grisly, gory demise delightfully cathartic.

Miles Bron (Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery): The killer at the center of Benoit Blanc’s latest murder mystery could easily have been a shallow sendup of Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, and Steve Jobs; fortunately, Rian Johnson’s sharp script and Edward Norton’s savvy performance elevate the otherwise broad caricature. This New Age tech bro may be the dimmest bulb in any given room, but he’s charming, charismatic, and confident enough to inspire loyalty and obedience among his followers and hangers-on. He’s the personification of capitalism gone awry, living proof that you don’t need to be intelligent or industrious to become a billionaire—just conniving, manipulative, and ruthlessly pragmatic.

Honorable Mentions

Magenta (Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero): A scathing parody of author Akira Toriyama’s experiences with editorial interference—and a hilariously ineffectual antagonist to boot.

Corey Cunningham (Halloween Ends): A meditation on the cyclical, self-perpetuating nature of alienation and violence; this unjustly persecuted youth’s gradual corruption is heartbreakingly tragic.

The Grabber (The Black Phone): The perfect marriage between an iconic design (courtesy of Tom Savini) and a captivating performance (courtesy of Ethan Hawke); leaves an indelible impression with minimal screen time.

The Podestá (Pinocchio): The model conformist—unwaveringly jingoistic, mindlessly subservient, and incapable of independent thought. He'd be pitiful... were he not such an abusive, tyrannical, fascist piece of trash.

Colonel Tom Parker (Elvis): This Mephistophelian trickster enriches the rather predictable biopic surrounding him; I don’t know what the hell Tom Hanks is smoking nowadays, but it is imperative that Hollywood keeps him supplied.

Megamind swap au??? In this economy?

yes, actually. I have been getting into the Megamind fandom very recently and as a fandom random, It is a duty to make a megamind au. I have seen some concepts of a Megamind swap au floating but to me they never feel realized. So here's probably a part one to this Megamind Swap au.

Megamind <--> Roxanne

This is one is plain old obvious. They're each other love interests and have some similarities to each other. Plus we got have very good idea for Roxanne's villain name, Temptress.

Metroman <--> Bernard

Now this is where it gets interesting! I did for two reasons. One, Bernard and Roxanne do seem close enough. Not friends probably but still and he's the other major human being that could feasibly swap with Wayne. Two, you know how Megamind and Metroman are meant to parody Superman and Lex Luthor. I thought what would be fun was for swapped! Roxanne and Bernard to be parodying Batman and The Joker. Another pair of an iconic superhero and his nemesis. Bernard is snarky, montone, and very dry which fits with a Batman parody. Imagine Roxanne in a sexy clown costume.

Minion <--> Hal Stewart

If I'm switching Roxanne and Megamind. Might as well switch their companions. Hal in this way will be a whole lot chill. He's meant to be like a younger brother to Roxanne. And no creepiness or incel behavior on this. Just a dorky jackal esque alien brother. Minion on the other hand is a helicopter older brother. He's way over protective of Megamind and will kill Roxanne if given the chance. He has the merits of a hero, especially with the justice aspect but gone to the extremes.

The next part of this does well, will be dealing with the sequel characters. I will trying to make them better in the process but hey, whatever happens. Happens.
