WESTSIMSTER, Windenburg (SNN) - - The State Opening of Parliament Monday provided a return to reassuring rituals dating back centuries.

The new parliamentary session was opened by Queen Katherine I, in the magnificent setting of the House of Lords, and the 31-year-old monarch was accompanied by her husband, Prince Rainier.

The state opening marks a rare convergence of the House of Lords, the House of Commons, and the monarch.

Queen Katherine departed Buckingham Palace wearing the diamond diadem and vintage Hartnell gown by @warwickroyals. famously worn by Queen Lara-Leigh for her 1912 Simdian Official Portrait.

The queen and Prince Rainier, the Prince consort in the gold state coach moved slowly through the crowded streets toward the House of Parliament.

Her Majesty was escorted by the Household Cavalry.

The queen and Prince consort were also followed by guardsmen on horseback as they moved slowly down The Mall.

Before Her Majesty arrived, the priceless Imperial State Crown and other regalia used in the ceremony were brought to Parliament in a separate heavily-guarded carriage.

The crown includes 2,868 diamonds, including the Second Star of Niregia diamond, and many other gems. The crown was made for King Edward II’s coronation in 1941, based on a crown designed for King Albert II in 1828.

The heavy crown is a powerful symbol of the queen’s authority.

Queen Katherine I's arrival at the Sovereign’s Entrance in Parliament was carefully choreographed and they were greeted at the door by the Lord Chamberlain, and the House of Lords Majority Leader.

The Queen and Prince Rainier were then escorted to the Robing Room, where she put on the Parliament Robe of State and the Imperial State Crown.

Seated right to left, Rowena, Queen Mother (wearing the Lara-Leigh Lover's Knot tiara), the Duchess of Kent (wearing the Kently tiara), the Duchess of Hastings (wearing the Princess of Windenburg tiara), and the Countess of Boykins (wearing the Lara-Leigh Halo tiara).

Her Majesty then proceeded in State through the Royal Gallery to the House of Lords.

A momentous year for Windenburg, Queen Katherine was certainly kept busy. Her Majesty, more than 2 years into her reign as Queen, is well-liked by the Windenburg public.

The Easton Royals won their 16th World Cup (first since 2021), and Windenburg native, Zen Miller, won Brambledon so spirits are high throughout the sims nation.

Lords waited for the Queen in their ceremonial robes while various Commonwealth dignitaries and ladies were seated as the queen said "My Lords, pray be seated".

Seated on a lower portion of the dais was the Prince consort. Standing behind him was Lady Delilah (the queen's Lady-in-Waiting), Viscountess Glenn Cove (Mistress of the Robes), and Lady Oglethorpe (Lady of the Bedchamber).

A House of Lords official was then sent to summon the House of Commons. The door to the Commons is first symbolically slammed in the officials face, which symbolizes the Commons' independence from the monarchy, before it is opened and they follow him back to the Lords Chamber.

The Prime Minister, the Leader of the Opposition, followed by the First Secretary of State and the Members of the House of Commons begin their processional through the House of Lords

During her speech, Queen Katherine outlined the governments policies for the following year. Prime Minister Linwood Keller and opposition leader Tommy Udaku can be seen at the front of the crowd listening intently.

While the speech fleshed out some of the growth-orientated vision Keller plans to pitch during the upcoming year’s election campaign, it was light on details on other areas, including how Keller would meaningfully bolster Windenburg’s border security before an election campaign is again disrupted by public concern over small boat crossings to the UK.

Part of the speech read:

My Government will give priority in economic policy to controlling inflation through the pursuit of firm monetary and fiscal policies. By reducing the burden of direct taxation and restricting the claims of the public sector on the nation's resources they will start to restore incentives, encourage efficiency and create a climate in which commerce and industry can flourish. In this way they will lay a secure basis for investment, productivity and increased employment in all parts of the United Kingdom. My Government intends to approve extra powers for law enforcement to investigate people smuggling spellcaster potions, including stopping and searching at the border, and the creation of a new Border Security Command.

The Queen and Prince consort returned to the palace but, due to the heavy rain, cancelled the balcony appearance.

Sirius held the stone in his hand, gently flipping it over as the group pondered if they’d found all the Horcruxes or if there were still more out there. 

“We’ve destroyed three already. Could he really have made more than that?” James asked. 

“I think he has,” Regulus answered, sighing loudly. “He’s changed so much since the first time I met him. The ring must have been done years ago and the diary was probably made at the same time. He’s made the locket recently, but he changed before that, so I think there’s at least one more out there,” Regulus mused aloud.

“Well, so far it’s all things connected to him, his diary, the Gaunt ring, Slytherin’s locket,” Remus ticked them off on his fingers. 

Sirius sunk into his own thoughts, turning the stone over slowly again and again. A thought flitted through his mind, Effie and Monty would know what to do. He missed them so much. He turned the stone again and two ghostly apparitions appeared before him. Sirius shrieked and toppled off the boulder he’d been sitting on dropping the stone in the process. 

“Did, did anyone see that? Please tell me someone saw that, and I’m not going mad?!” Sirius shivered as he shakily picked himself up off the ground and looked for the stone. 

“Er no, you just screamed and fell off the rock,” James told him, looking concerned. 

“Must still be a bit tired and nodded off,” Sirius laughed nervously. He found the stone and wandered away from the group. He did what he’d been doing before, turning the stone over and thinking about Effie and Monty and, as before, the Potters appeared before him. 

“Hello, Sirius dear,” Effie said gently. 

“Mum, Dad!” He gasped. He hurriedly cast a muffling charm over himself so as not to draw attention and looked at them. “Are you real?” He asked, a thick lump forming in his throat. 

“We’re dead, love,” Monty told him cheerily. “What you have there is the resurrection stone, it’s part of the deathly hallows. James has the cloak. I swear I told him that.” He screwed up his face in thought. 

“You probably did, dear, but you know James in one ear out the other,” Effie cooed fondly. “Now about these Horcruxes dear, Monty and I have been watching your valiant efforts. You’re so close, darling.”

“There's two more,” Monty took over. “Hufflepuff's cup and Ravenclaw's diadem,”

“What about Gryffindor’s sword?” Sirius asked. “He had Slytherin’s locket. Why not the whole set?”

“The sword is hiding,” Monty said with mischief in his eyes. 

“Only a true Gryffindor can find it, and it won’t reveal itself to Voldemort, so he can’t ruin them all.” Effie took over.

“Where are they? Do you know?” Sirius questioned, they were so close now. 

“Sorry, my love, but we don’t know,” Effie told him sadly. 

“You might want to ask the Grey Lady if she knows anything. She’s Rowena’s daughter and as for the cup, perhaps find out which death eater is walking a bit talker these days,” Monty said cryptically.

“Now, my darling, we need to say goodbye to you. We love you ever so much and are both so proud of you. Take care of James for us, won’t you? He’ll need you,” Effie’s eyes were brimming with ghostly tears as she blew him a kiss. 

“Sirius, as far as I’m concerned, you are my son, as I’ve told you many times before. I love you just as much as James, and I am so incredibly proud of the man you have become. Be strong my darling boy, oh and give the stone to James, so I can tell him to get a haircut,” Monty winked at him. 

“We love you, now drop the stone.” They said in unison, and he did as they asked. 

There were two more Horcruxes. Only two.

Hi, I am having trouble locating a fic in my downloads or bookmarks. Do you happen to remember one that is an 8th year fic where Hermione is living at Andromeda’s and I think Draco is a werewolf? Narcissa and Andi start communicating and are able to visit while Narcissa is trying to get Draco out of his depression and connect as well. Upon returning to school, Andi writes a letter to Hermione asking her to keep a watch out for Draco as his emotional state is not great. I can only remember a few scenes from the story but not the actual plot. Any help would be appreciated!

Some interesting facts about Arthur and Merlin's eldest daughter:

Rowena and Salazar are identical twins, with Rowena being older than Salazar by 4 minutes.

Rowena has Arthur's eye color, a blue darker than Salazar's eyes.

Her diadem was made by her mother, Merlin. It does not increase her wisdom but clears her mind of worries and helps her focus on her current problem.

The name Rowena is of Welsh origin and may mean "White Spear."

Of all her siblings, Rowena is the most attached to Uncle Gwaine.

J.K. Rowling's blatant transphobia cannot be dismissed in her portrayal of Salazar Slytherin as a transwoman. This is confirmed by Salazar's construction of the Chamber of Secrets. It represents what she most desires to own: a vagina. J.K. Rowling mistakenly believes that men cannot possess a vagina nor can women possess a penis. The basilisk, which penetrates the chamber, represents a penis. We also know this because it impregnates the sword of Gryffindor with basilisk venom. (The sword is another phallic figure, which suggests proof that men CAN get pregnant, yet J.K. Rowling is unwilling to have this conversation.)

Salazar Slytherin detests the cup of Helga Hufflepuff; for it represents the sacred chalice: the womb of a CIS woman. She instructs Rowena Ravenclaw's daughter, Helena, also a CIS woman, to steal her mother's diadem and bring it to her, for it represents the wisdom that J.K. Rowling believes only CIS women can grasp. These items are mockeries to Salazar, including the sword of Gryffindor, the sacred blade that represents what she longs to be free of (the sword could also be a tool to remove what prevents her from happiness.)

J.K. Rowling gave Salazar Slytherin a feminine item to own: a locket. This is further proof that Salazar Slytherin is a transwoman. The locket is also shown to attempt to strangle Harry Potter, portrayed by Daniel Radcliffe, who is a champion of trans rights. This is validation that J.K. Rowling views transwomen and trans rights activists as the biggest threats to humankind and that they should be eradicated.

If you are still clinging to these books or supporting this woman in any way (including thinking of your happy memories before she came out as a bigot) you are willingly participating in Nazism, sexism, racism, homophobia, and most importantly: transphobia. Do not give J.K. Rowling your support!
