Rowan

The wood of the Rowan tree, when carried, increases psychic abilities.

A native to the U.K. and providing berries for the birds Sorbus aucuparia (rowan, European mountain ash, mountain ash, quickbeam) can be an urban tree. There are a range of cultivars and mature trees can grow up to 15m in height. In winter the smooth silvery grey bark is a feature after the autumn leaves have turned red or yellow.

It truly is autumn now the rowan trees are full of berries

When days are short and it's getting dark early I feel like creating some dark art. That's why I want my photos to be darker, more melancholic, sometimes even disturbing. But on the other hand I enjoy the golden light of the setting sun and colours of autumn leaves so I just couldn't resist capturing the last glimpses of fall.

Fun fact of Rowan?

Rowan likes to have snacks whenever he's doing any sort of task that requires concentration, so often at home he'll just be studying with a huge bowl full of broccoli, completely absorbed into his studies

This of course raises the question of *how the fuck does he have that much broccoli*, which has a very simple answer: Rowan's house has a garden in it! There's a small greenhouse which his family uses to grow a few vegetables, including a frankly absurd amount of broccoli just so this man can have his homework snacks.

Autumn must be round the corner as the berries are ripening on the Sorbus aucuparia (rowan, mountain ash) but fortunately there is a bit more summer to come as the pinnate green leaves have not started turning red or yellow.
