It's everyone in Henford's favorite holiday, Farm Day. The entire Hammond-Murphy family spent their day out on the farm showing their appreciation to the animals and crops that have sustained their household.

'Ireland is having something of a renaissance in Hollywood. The country racked up multiple nominations at the 2023 Oscars and followed it up with Cillian Murphy becoming the first Irish performer to take home the Best Actor trophy at the 2024 ceremony. In addition to Murphy, several other stars from the Emerald Isle have given breakout or career-cementing performances in the last few years, including Saoirse Ronan, Kerry Condon, Barry Keoghan, Paul Mescal, Jessie Buckley, Andrew Scott, Ayo Edebiri (on an honorary basis), the entire cast of Bad Sisters, and of course, Colin Farrell.
Farrell, who was nominated for Best Actor in 2023 for The Banshees Of Inisherin, recently spoke to Entertainment Tonight about the “amazing” talent of his native country. “I mean, we punch so far above our weight, you know?” he said. “We’re only a country of five million people and I don’t know, Irish people—just whether it’s through music, the written word, whether it’s prose of poetry, film, theater of course, we just—we have a deep connection to… I think just to the importance of story and to leaning into stories and meanings with which we understand ourselves and the world around us.”...'

It’s official, the paperwork finally went through making Cillian and Saoirse the proud owners of their very first restaurant, Hammond Eggs! A farm to table country restaurant, that of course includes all day breakfast considering it’s Cillian’s favorite meal.

Although some have been proficient since the beginning, and made sure their names are pronounced correctly, like Benedict Cumberbatch, some have not been able to get people to pronounce their names correctly even after being in the business for decades – like Charlize Theron. And some, like Timothée Chalamet, just don’t care what name you call them by.
Here are five celebrity names, including Charlize Theron, that you have probably been pronouncing wrong all this time.
Charlize Theron
Tumblr media
Charlize Theron, while being interviewed by Piers Morgan, once revealed how her name should actually be pronounced. Saying her name in Afrikaans, she said that her name is actually pronounced as “Shar-lis Throne.”
Saoirse Ronan
Tumblr media
We don’t blame you, Irish names are difficult to pronounce for anyone who is not an Irish themselves. Back in 2017, during her Saturday Night Live opening monologue, Saoirse Ronan taught everyone how to pronounced her name, which is  “Sur-sha.”
Also included in this farce:
Syphilis Murphy
The Swedenborgians, Jake Gyllenhaal (& Maggie Gyllenhaal)
Emily Ratjkowski, whomever that is
Say hello to cult tool, and stenographer, Swagata Das. Shameful.

Has anyone ever seen anything this fucking low class and petty? Only, usually from Fandomwire, is it this bad. A magazine, supposedly started by Reilly Johnson, a young man in a wheelchair. But given we all now know two things: That Stephen Hawking was a pedophile and a creep AND because of the Doctor Who Davros shitstorm, that saying people in wheelchairs cannot be villains.... I name Reilly Johnson of Harrisburg, PA, where the magazine is located, as either being a complete Nazified asshole OR...someone else runs the business, and uses him as cover, to deflect. I think it's past time for the public to know which.
No one who puts out petty shit for traffickers, like Scientology and the criminals connected to Soho House, is of good character. As for the article, as usual, the Hollywood Mob decided to highlight aka promote the talent that they control.
I think I speak for everyone sane, when I say I don't want cultist, Charlize Theron, anywhere NEAR a Doctor Strange film. Scrap it and come up with something new.
I'm glad that Ben won't be there to put butts in the seat for Scientology Tool, Timothee Chalamet, because that is the only way I would ever pay for one of his movies.
NOW I get the big deal with trying to make fetch happen with Saoirse Ronan, for years. She's Irish, and they even tried to get a boost by using David Tennant in one of her films. McAvoy, Knightly AND Cumberbatch were used in another film, for the same reason, weren't they? To try and boost Ronan.
As for Syphilis Murphy....nobody fucking cares or is comfortable around that creepy-looking cheat.
I don't want to see any of these fuckers. I want a decent, good, even GREAT Benedict Cumberbatch film, because HE'S the one with real talent. DO NOT shove mid listers, propped up by mobster billionaires, in my fucking face.

'Hotly tipped for the Best Actor Oscar for his performance in Oppenheimer, the Cork actor Cillian Murphy is also odds on favourite to be a guest on the sofa when Patrick Kielty hosts the Late Late Show for the first time on September 15.
One sure sign the Summer is nearing its end, the return of the Late Late Show for its 51st season is coming with added spice this Autumn given the departure of the previous host in May and the subsequent controversy surrounding payments not declared as part of his official RTÉ salary later in the Summer.
The announcement that Patrick Kielty, the Co. Down born comedian and actor, was to take over the role occupied by Ryan Tubridy and, prior to him, by Pat Kenny and Gay Byrne and an assortment of occasional hosts, was overshadowed by the controversy over the payments to Mr. Tubridy. This controversy led to a series of hearings before Dáil committees and a number of investigations are still ongoing.
The betting appears to be well underway to see who will be among the first guests on Patrick Kielty’s sofa when he takes over in September and, as well as the Cork born Oppenheimer and Wind Shakes The Barley star, odds are also being offered by Boyle Sports on Jamie Dornan, a fellow Down native, Christy Moore and Saoirse Ronan taking a seat on the couch...
Lawrence Lyons, spokesperson for BoyleSports said: “Paddy Kielty’s first guests may well be kept under wraps until the last minute, but speculation is rife already and with Cillian Murphy and Roy Keane among the favourites, we’re anticipating a box office line-up.”
The odds being quoted by Boyle Sports to appear in person as a guest on Patrick Kielty's first Late Late Show are as follows:
5/4 Jamie Dornan
5/4 Cillian Murphy...'

#OTD in 1798 – United Irishmen Rebellion | Battle of Tuberneering.
Irish rebels continue to have success against English troops. At the Battle of Tuberneering, Co Wexford, under the command of Fr John Murphy, rebels ambush in a narrow defile troops of the 4th Royal Dragoon Guards, militia and yeomanry auxiliaries, under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel Walpole. Walpole and 100 men were killed, the rest, throwing away their weapons and uniforms, fled. The…

I hate that Eli is so private. I wish he would show more of his personality rather than just his frontman stage persona but I guess with his dad being so famous he has lived under the spotlight since he was a baby and knows how awful it can be.
i love his personality. he seems like the sweetest guy. his dad is bono so yeah he's lived under one massive spotlight from the moment he started breathing and the fact that he got a pretty 'normal' upbringing in ireland shows how well his parents raised their family considering the money, fame and all the travelling his dad had to do while touring. i can't imagine it was easy. i get why he's private. he values the little anonymity he has and he would be a fool to give that up. besides lots of irish people are super private - Saoirse Ronan, Cillian Murphy, Colin Farrell, Michael Fassbender are all famous irish people who don't have social media and are known to stay out of the media and just get on with their work
