Mikey squinted when he saw his reflection. He didn’t look normal. The face staring back at him was incredibly familiar, like having déjà vu. Round face, freckled cheeks, orange mask, big blue eyes. Hadn’t he drawn this yokai earlier? The filmy layer on the screen crept away, starting from the outer edges, creeping towards the center, revealing the face behind. It was a turtle mutant of sorts. Big eyes, medium length black hair, yellow freckles, and an orange bandana tied around his neck. The stranger’s eyes widened as he stared at Mikey, expression full of curiosity. In a flash of blinding light, the two switch places, a Mikey and a Mikey, in two separate worlds. Or: Rottmnt Mikey swaps places with 2012 Mikey, and the two go through life changing events. Rottmnt Mikey has to help banish the Krang a second time, in a new universe, while 2012 Mikey uncovers a mystery within his newfound family, potentially tearing them apart.

This takes place when the other brothers eventually find Mikey after tracing where he accidentally teleported a year ago. Only, it’s been much longer than a year in Dimension X. It’s been decades.

Dating - He is less awkward and a little more sure of himself. Likes to go to you to get a second opinion instead of his brothers. usually goes to you if he wants to be away from all the ninja end of the world alien stuff.

Raph

Crushing - avoids you for like a day. after that, he’s pursuing you to no ends. constantly in your space and constantly touching your hip or waist. will invite you to random places with him. always stares at you from the other side of a room. leaves no doubt that he has intentions to date you.

Dating - super protective. touchiness x10. loves PDA and showing it off to his brothers. yeah. he’s better than them. your relationship is so good it’s something they could never dream of understanding.

Donnie

Crushing - obsesses over you, obviously. overthinks every interaction and thinks you hate him at all times. he needs constant reassurance and is easily jealous. is stuck in a loop of feeling like he could never win you over versus him thinking he should be able to date you. he’s smart! he can be funny! please like him…

Dating - has a whole plethora of date ideas for you too. makes a scrap book for your relationship and keeps everything he can for memories. he has pictures of you two all over his room.

Mikey

Crushing - Super obvious. Non stop chatters about you to his brothers but when you’re in the room, he’s dead quiet, eyes wide, and staring at you. he squeaks when you touch him and then will latch onto you and will refuse to let go.

Dating - super cuddly and attached. will hide behind you when raph is after him. too bad raph isn’t afraid to ram right through you to get to his brother. your plus of dating mikey is that he does not include you in his pranks. he doesn’t want to make you upset :( tries to be less annoying around you and is quieter.

Ooh these are all good questions!! This one might be a bit of a long answer lol.

Oh goodness, I've read a lot of fics... This one is a hard one...

Well, I answered an ask a few months ago, when someone asked me my favorite fanfics, if you'd like to look at it ^^ and to actually answer your question, um... Well, my favorite fanfic changes monthly, as I am reading so many fics currently!! So, for now, I'll give you my top three!

Becasue I have so many fics to read, I'm sure those will change soon enough. Ask me again in a month, and my answer will be different! ^^

Ok, to answer your second question, when writing, practice makes perfect. Pay really close attention to the past and present tense, and keep them from getting mixed up. You can't be using "is", and then "was", if you know what I mean. Often while I write, I'll listen to it, like in audio book format. Our minds are really good at telling us what good grammar is supposed to sound like, and surprisingly bad at reading it. If you listen to what you write, you'll be able to pick out typos mistakes, and even identity your writing style!!

Now, as for suggestions for writing angst, I'd say pay really close attention to the angst you see in other fanfics. How is pain described? How is emotional damage described? You'd be surprised to find a lot of those descriptions, (such as pain so intense it feels cold, or emotions so heavy, you fall to the floor) are actually correct. I find a lot of fanfic writers, when it comes to pain, and emotional pain, write from a place they've been before. Meaning personal experience.

Now, it sorta sucks, but nothing really cuts it like personal experience. So, if you've ever gone through anything traumatic, physical, or emotional, use that and write with that energy. It'll translate into true passionate writing!!

Also, yes, I have written fanfics before!! Multiple in fact!! I used to be a part of the Undertale UTMV fandom, so I've got multiple oneshots written from then. I'm also currently in the process of writing multiple tmnt fanfics ^^ I absolutely adore writing!!

Sun Basking

They don't see the sun often

- they have an enormous light fixture above a chair in the lair to make up for it (it doesn't replicate the whole thing)

- They often find themselves shuting their eyes and taking a HUGE deep breath when sun light hits their scales

- They have a secret sun spot they can get to through the sewers. It's in the mouth of a deserted tunnel close to the water

- the sun hits it just right in the morning

- Donnie found it when the lair was suffering from a particular bout of winter depression

- they all modified it. It's close enough that the turtles can hear the city and the water all at once

- it's strangely soothing to all of them

- if you take your turtle somewhere remote, beware

- he will beg to go outside. ALL. THE. TIME.

- he will be outside even if you arn't with him

- he loves the air and the light and the SUNLIGHT

- they are all summer boys

- rain has its charms, but spending your childhood below sea level enduring record flooding and icy wind and snow- all while RARELY experiencing sunlight...

- a date on a roof or out in the woods will end up with him asleep in the sun

- you will have to force him to wear sun screen

- he will not endure it like an adult. He will whine and complain. Even Leo.

- one time your man fell asleep in the sun without sunscreen and he woke up with dark DARK green scales and a crusty shell.

- he was in so much pain and he didn't like to be touched where he got burned

- he slept in the lairs pool that night

- during the daytime your turtle will either be super super energetic or passed the fuck out. No in-between

- if yall get a HOME with access to privacy and sunlight, your man will be outside most of the time

Monorail wheels screeched, screaming as they came to a halt, skidding to a stop right at the station exit. With a ding, the doors slid open, and folks poured out, a stream of ten or so people, all chattering, bringing a lively mood into the air, throwing glances back and forth as they typed away on their devices. Amidst the small crowd of unique looking folks, were two specific individuals, side by side, walking out together. The moment Mikey breached the doors of the monorail, he gasped, and ran forwards, arms flung wide, inhaling deeply, reveling in the way the air practically buzzed with pure energy. “Oh my gosh, this is so rad!!! Yoooo!!!” He laughed excitedly and looked about, craning his neck to gaze up at the vividly hued world he had landed in. “Dude!! It’s even prettier out here!!” he shouted, throwing his arms upwards, nearly smacking someone in the face. Though he hardly noticed, and they moved on quickly, leaving Mikey to his wild enthusiasm. “This is awesome!!” He laughed, beaming up at the world around him, wanting nothing more than to just run off, and explore every single corner!

2012 & 2018 leonardo x gn reader

2012 Leo could hear your footsteps behind him. You always tried to sneak up on him, but he doubted that you could even sneak up on the average person.

He continued cleaning his blade, wanting to give you a chance to have fun.

But instead of trying to scare him like he had thought, you wrapped your arms around his neck in a loose hug.

He placed his sword to the side and leaned back into you, his hands coming up to grab your arms.

“What are you up to?”

“Nothing,” you mumbled, breathing into his neck. He leaned his head back, trying to look at you but you just rubbed your cheek against his. “You know you’re like my whole world, right?”

He didn’t say anything and just rubbed his thumb up and down your arm, feeling you rest your chin on the lip of his shell.

2018 Leo was laying on his bed reading a comic when you entered his room.

He dropped his comic and opened his arms as you eagerly cuddled into his chest.

He was imagining a peaceful night with you when he noticed that you had a certain glint in your eyes.

“What?” he huffed out a laugh.

“Did you know I can hold the entire world in my hands?” You asked. When he quirked an eyebrow ridge at you, you cupped his face in your hands. “You’re my entire world.”

His tail thumped happily against his sheets. “Just my face?”

You blinked. “No. You.”

“But you’re just holding my face, not me.” He grinned at you. He was just teasing you, but you took it seriously.

That’s how he ended up cradled in your arms. You refused to acknowledge any comments he made to how your arms were shaking. You finally dropped him, but he stayed rooted in your lap, nuzzling and kissing your cheek over and over.
