Un-Abel To Help

Tenzu looks up from their phone, they just got done texting Big Mama about Scylla’s whereabouts. The spider stood against a tree in the cold, holding the two jackets for their sister close to them. They bury the bottom half on their face into the lavender purple scarf they have on and around them. It was freezing out, almost below 10 degrees due to it being late into winter, plus it was night, so that didn’t help.

Two pairs of footsteps could be heard approaching the teen. Tenzu peers to their right to see Big Mama and Miko quickly walking towards them. Both of them have a rather worried look on their faces.

“Come on, let’s go get our Scy.” Big Mama says as she walks up to Tenzu, who turned on their heel to follow her as she kept going.

“How long have you guys been looking for her?” The young spider asks, looking at their Ai.

“Almost three hours now, I’d say.” Miko responds after a moment of thinking. Tenzu wasn’t that surprised honestly, considering it was their parents looking for Scylla. If anything, they admired the commitment from both of them. The commitment due to worry, but still.

It wasn’t the longest trip to the park, it only took about five minutes. When the trio arrived, they spotted Scylla on the bench. In the far back of the park by some trees. Big Mama was about to happily call her name, but was stopped by Miko putting their hand up.

“Wait a minute..” They say, squinting their eyes at the trees, or rather, what was behind the trees. Both spiders look in the direction Miko’s looking in, confused for a moment before all of them see a subtle glow.

“Oh fuck…” Tenzu mumbles, a subtle look of fear in their eyes.

“How wonderful of you to join us.” Scylla’s voice speaks up, causing the trio to focus on her. Tenzu looks her in the eyes, copying her gaze, tilting their head as they notice how off it seems. It wasn’t her speaking, it was Bishop talking to them. “Something wrong, spider?” Bishop asks as a grin forms on his face. Tenzu looks to the side, a sense of frustration building up inside of them.

“Arachne, I think you should let me and Tenzu handle this..” Miko quietly speaks after a moment. Big Mama looked over at them, confused for a moment. Though the more she thought about it, the more it made sense to her.

“If that’s..what you see fit. I trust you on this, both of you.” Big Mama hesitates, but turns and starts to walk away. She pauses for a moment though, glancing back at Scylla. “I’m sorry, honey..” She mumbles to herself as she continues the trip back to the hotel.

“Okay.” Miko quietly says, taking a deep breath and looking at Tenzu. “We shouldn’t stick around long. Especially since Bishop is in control and that..thing, is here.”

“But what about Scy? We can’t just leave her here. That thing could kill her if Bishop stops possessing her, couldn’t it?” The spider speaks in a whisper, a look of worry on their face.

“It wouldn’t, not if Bishop is in her body.” Miko says, shaking their head a bit. Tenzu looks over at both Scylla, or more so, Bishop. They glance up at Abel, who’s still standing behind the trees, but its gaze lingering on the small yokai. He raises an eyebrow at the spider, an unamused and bored look on his face. They turn their attention back to their Ai, silently asking them what to do. Miko opens their mouth to speak, but is interrupted by that pain in the ass ghost, Bishop.

“What do you think you can do to me? Hm?” He asks, that gin only spreads wider on his face. Both yokai look at each other for a second, then look back at Scylla’s possessed body.

“..There’s..nothing we can do. At least, not yet.” Miko says with a glare. Bishop chuckles, shaking his head slightly. Tenzu looks down at the jackets they’re holding, then up at their Ai. “We should…get going, Tenzu. There’s nothing we can do right now.” They say, though the spider can hear a hint of sorrow in their voice as Miko speaks.

“Can I at least…give Scy-Scy her jackets?” Tenzu asks, glancing up at their sister. Miko thinks for a moment, looking at Scylla and Abel. Abel hasn’t moved the whole time, it’s just been standing there, watching the two yokais.

“Um, yeah, sure. Just set them on the seesaw.” The Shibu Inu says, pointing to said seesaw that was between them and the bench Scylla is sitting on. It was a good halfway point. Tenzu gives them a nod and slowly begins walking towards the equipment, looking down at the snow as they do so. They can hear the soft crunch in the snow with each of their steps. It doesn’t take long for them to reach the seesaw. Tenzu lets out a quiet sigh as they look down at it, setting both thick jackets down. They were only able to stand there for a second before they felt themself getting picked up. Miko had thrown them over their shoulder as they bolted in the opposite direction of the park.

“H-Hey, what the!?-” They look up and at the park as it gets further away. What they see is Abel standing right in front of the seesaw, staring them down. Tenzu didn’t even hear it move.

Legitimately couldn’t remember if I posted these. I found the prettiest blue pencil and decided to draw a bunch of Leo’s with it!! And experiment with Scy’s hair colors. It’s currently washing out, so I dunno! She might look cool in blue, but purple is so right for her….

Family Meeting

 Big Mama sits everyone down at the round dinner table, Jennika across from her, and the other children scattered at random chairs. Scylla is sitting (more like crouching, her feet are flat on the chair,) next to Crollo, who is sitting next to Big Mama on the right. To the right of the Rion Children, sits Theo, and to the right of him sits Tenzu and Miko. To the left of Big Mama sits Venus, Splinter, Aarav (who just showed up, for some reason,) and Willa. Sheena is sitting next to Jennika.

“So…” Big Mama starts. “Who would like to start? Jennika?”

"Why am I even here?"

Sheena purses her lips, but doesn't speak. Her arm moves under the table as if she's grabbing Jennika's hand.

Big Mama raises an eyebrow at her second eldest, tilting her head. “This meeting is about you, Jenny. You’re hurting, clearly. We, as a family, have not been as attentive as we should be, to you. And that is an issue. So, we should talk about it.”

Crollo nods vaguely, clearly off in his own head, as Scylla kinda shuffles oddly in her hair, tapping on her kneecaps. Miko, stretching their paws a little, looks over at Jennika. 

“Kiddo, we’ve been looking at your blog. You’re clearly not okay. And you’re listening to the anons, who are telling you outright lies. We’re… sorry you feel that your siblings aren’t listening to you,” Miko says coolly, whipping Scylla’s feet out from under her so she’ll sit properly in the chair. Scylla gives a surprised yelp at that. “But if you’re feeling hurt, you need to tell us about these things. Not bottle it up.”

“Yeah… we’re worried, dude.” Crollo says softly. Everything he’s done lately has been soft. Quiet. “And I know this is stupidly hypocritical coming from me, but you gotta tell us stuff. We do care about you, a lot. And we’re sorry we don’t listen to you. Right Scy?”

Scy blinks for a minute when everyone turns to look at her. “Uh. Yeah. We’re… sorry, Jen.” It does sound genuine, despite her general demeanour. Which is very rare, coming from Scylla. 

Splinter and Aarav say nothing, understandably. They’re just here for the pancakes Big Mama is going to make later. Sheena also doesn't speak, continuing to silently support her wife the best she can.

“We’re sorry we don’t listen to you, and that we screw things up, and that we don’t take care of ourselves.” Venus says. “We don’t mean to make your life so difficult.”

“Yeah.” Scylla mumbles in agreement. 

Jennika’s brow tightens in frustration, her jaw setting angrily. It’s an expression Big Mama has seen on her quite a few times, her eyes dark and stormy as she tries to control what little anger is still festering after hers and Theo’s fight.

Theo keeps eating the leftover pancakes that Big Mama provided early. Slowly. Almost comedically. 

“Jennika, do you actually believe any of the things you were told?” Crollo asks. “From the asks, I mean. You really can’t believe anything they say, sis, I’m serious. They’re… mean.” 

“Yeah.” Willa nods. 

“They’re just a buncha bullies, Jen.” Scy adds. “They did this to Crollo, they did this to Shiro, they did it to like, half my friends… You can’t listen to them.”

“They did it to me.” Splinter hums. “And I know I’m not exactly part of the family conversation, but I have been in this situation. These people will lie to you, Jennika. Try and get in your head, which you have clearly allowed them to do.” 

“Exactly.” Crollo points at him. 

Aarav sneaks over to Theo’s side and steals a pancake. As does Willa. Theo glares at them in mock offense.

Jennika stares at the table for a bit, until Sheena puts her hand on her back, and her expression flickers slightly. 

"It's different when they're things you've already told yourself beforehand."

Everyone goes a bit quiet for a second, some in concern, some in… quiet agreement. Theo mumbles, “Yeah. I know.” and Big Mama feels her heart squeeze.

Scylla can feel barbed wire wrapping around her throat, tears burning at her eyes. It’s her fault, is it not? She just had to be argumentative and stupid and stubborn. 

Crollo bunches his hoodie in his hands. If he wasn’t so damn scared, he would just tell her why it wasn’t her fault, any of their faults, but no. He had to be a coward.

Sheena's eyes shine with unshed tears, feeling as if she hasn't done enough to help Jenny. She takes a deep breath and lays her head on Jenny's shoulder, trying to provide more comfort.

By far though, the parents in the room feel the most guilty. They should have taken care of their daughter, should have paid more attention to her.

Just because a pillar is the strongest, does not mean it does not need the support of others. 

A vaguely translated proverb that come to mind. One Big Mama’s own mother told her when she was young.

“Do you really believe all of that?” Scy mumbles.

“...Well.” Jennika, her expression what would usually be considered stone-faced, though to her family reads as contemplative, a little pained. “Clearly no one cares about how much I try to help. I try to get you guys to help yourselves and you just brush me off.”

Every one of her siblings is generally at a loss for words. None of them are exactly… fantastic with emotions. And expressing said emotions.

“We’re sorry you feel that way, what would you like for us to do to change that?” Miko says, their voice soft. 

“I don’t know. Listen to me? Actually talk about your issues instead of doing the literal dumbest shit possible?” Jennika sighs a little. “And please, Scylla, for once stop getting up while you’re healing and being an idiot? Perhaps?”

Scylla tries really hard not to simultaneously cry and joke about her being fairly sure she can’t die. Fell 20 miles from a space ship and only lost a leg. And feeling in her lower back. And a good half gallon of blood.

“Okay.” She manages to mumble out through barely held tears and intrusive thoughts.

“Well, one of the things you tell us to do all the time is go to therapy…” Tenzu hums. “Maybe we could all go together? As a family thing?”

“Ah yes. Family bonding.” Crollo mumbles, Theo laughing a little at that. Even Sheena manages a smile.

“...That sounds good.” Jennika nods. “At least you guys wont be doing dumb shit.”

“Okay. That sounds good. Right, Arachne?” Miko looks over at Big Mama, who nods. 

“I can get in contact with Xio.” She hums. 

“...Do I have to come-”

“Yes.” Everyone cuts Theo off.

“Okay then.” He sighs.

Good Deeds, Good Gifts

author’s note: i was actually starting to write for another request and boom, meeee your favorite?! im blushing >\\\\\\< and so flattered, as a token of my appreciation i got this done pretty fast heh

The two of you met how most people met the turtles, by being saved. And you aren’t the type to ever be in someone’s debt. So you implored Leo to swing by your place some time to give him a gift as a thank you.

Splinter was against the idea, and thoroughly told Leo that heroes don’t take gifts, that they are just happy knowing someone appreciated their help… so Leo went to your place with intentions to refuse any and all gifts, politely.

But as he found himself jumping on top of wealthy apartment complexes, rooftops that had pools and greenhouses and other exotic, expensive add-ons, they were foreign to the rooftops he was used to in his neighborhood. Leo had a feeling your gift would be hard to refuse.

You were awaiting his arrival, and Leo was punctual. “Hello there hero, Leonardo wasn’t it? I’m so glad you came!” You were waving for him to follow you to the rooftop door, “The surprise is inside!” You smiled, unable to hide your giddiness. “Ah, actually Y/n you can just call me Leo and I only came to tell you I appreciate the gesture but don’t need a gift.”

Leo was trying his best here, but you had taken his hand and pulled him through the door. Dragging him along as he tried to explain that Master Splinter (his father) was adamant on his sons being heroes that didn’t do good deeds for gifts. The two of you were now in an elevator, and you were nodding, making sure he knew you were listening.

“That’s very admirable Leo, truly, but wait ‘til you see what I have in store for you!” You squealed, your excitement still not dulled even as Leo groaned. Re-explaining with an exasperated expression. The elevator chimed and Leo almost had a heart attack when he saw another human down the hall.

“Oh don’t worry, that’s just Richard, my butler. He knows all about you and how you saved me, he’s truly grateful.” Richard himself bowing his head to Leo and then opening the door he was guarding. With a sweep of your hand you let Leo go in first, “After you!”

A circular table, set for two, filled with delicacies from around the world entered Leo’s vision and also his snout. Just the smell alone made his mouth water as he stood there shellshocked at the feast before him. “I thought this way, we could get to know each other better, I find food brings people together!”

You made your way to one of the chairs, Richard already there to pull it out and push you in exactly how you liked it. “Sit sit sit sit!” You insisted as you saw Leo hesitate. Richard went to help with his chair too but Leo waved him off. “Y/n..” he started, looking at all the food and feeling overwhelmed. He’d never finish it all, his thoughts went to his brothers. They’d enjoy this…

“Leo just try this!” You directed, pointing with your fork at something steamy and cheesy. Reluctantly, he listened, and one bite was all it took for him to start chowing down, forgetting his early reservations. “Wowww this is amazing! It’s like when me and my brothers first discovered pizza!”

The two of you went on talking about pizza and the foods on the table. And the more Leo ate, the more he opened up, talking about his favorite shows, Space Heroes of course, and his favorite characters. You were a great listener and enjoyed his company thoroughly. By the time his stomach was full, Richard had a big bag packed with more food for him to take home. “You kept mentioning your brothers so I thought to pack them a little goodie bag!” You explained as the table was cleared and the bag was placed beside him.

“Thank you!” Out of all the things the two of you talked about, this seemed to have the happiest smile appear on his face. Which in turn made you happy. “Oh Leo, you must return! Will you? I enjoy your company dearly!!” You weren’t one to plead, but you didn’t want this to be a one and done encounter.

“Well, sure! Wanna swap numbers?” He asked, who could refute those puppy dog eyes of yours? You were squealing happily once more, sliding your phone to him as he did the same to you. “Interesting design!” You noted, turning the phone over in your hands to see it resembled a turtle shell. “My brother Donnie made it, he’s a bit of a genius.” Leo said fondly.

“Cool! Maybe one day I can meet him, and the rest of your brothers!” You said in a hopeful voice. “Oh after I give them this,” Leo raised up the bag of food, “they’ll definitely want to meet you.”

Leo came back a couple of times by himself, one day was spent in the spa, another at the rooftop pool, you showed him around the entire building. “Hey so where are all the other tenants? Shouldn’t we be a bit more careful..?” Leo said waving a hand to go up and down his figure.

“Oh no, I own the entire building,” you said nonchalantly. Now Leo had known you were pretty wealthy, but he was now seeing the bigger picture here as he did a double take. From there the hangouts got even crazier.

“Y/n.. I don’t know, breaking and entering is a crime, I’m supposed to be a hero remember?” You sighed, this was the third time he had tried to chicken out! “Leo, how else are you gonna go to an amusement park??” Before he could get out that it wasn’t necessary to go to one to begin with, you were climbing the fence.

“Y/n!!” Leo said in a harsh whisper, watching as you fell over by accident to the other side. Your pride wounded as Leo snickered at you through the fence. “Your turn ninja warrior!” Eyes narrowing at him, we couldn’t all be athletic gods!

That night had been one to remember, and Leo only allowed a couple more break in hangouts before he finally got you to stop, by inviting you over to the lair.

You came bearing gifts of course, thankfully Master Splinter was in his room meditating, and didn’t witness all his sons beam at their gifts. This time Leo was giving you the grand tour. It wasn’t your swanky skyscraper building, but it was his home and you were overjoyed to be there.

Once in his room, you brought out the last gift. In a blue baggy, and you had the cheesiest grin on your face. “I know, I know.. no presents but this will be the last one for a while.” You crossed your fingers behind your back as he rolled his eyes and took the bag. “Honestly I don’t even know why I bother saying-“

Leo had been midway throwing the present paper out of view when he stopped talking as he saw the figurine. It was his favorite character, Captain Ryan from Space Heroes, it looked to be a part of the premium collection. His mouth dropped open as he gentle pulled out the collectible. “You didn’t,” he gasped to himself, he hadn’t realized you had really paid attention to what he was saying.

Usually his brothers droned out his Space Heroes talk. “Thank you!!” Leo said happily, unable to stop himself as he pulled you into a quick hug before looking around his room. “He’s gonna need his own shelf!” Leo said, totally nerding out. “Well yeah, especially when I get you all the other characters! For holidays” you amended when you saw his face turn stern.

What can you say? You couldn’t help but spoil your new best friend, he wasn’t just your savior. He hadn’t known who you were and yet he stuck out his neck, put himself in danger, just because he was a good person. A real friend unlike some you’ve had in the past. And that’s who you wanted to surround yourself with. So you couldn’t help but feel all warm and fuzzy when you finally got him to give you a genuine smile.

Hmm.. good question.. Because I liked everything in the movie 😂

I really liked the part when Raph Saved Leo, I was really shocked when I saw that part for the first time.. that scene was really intense..

But some honorable mentions for me to choose was the Apocalypse intro, Leo vs Raph and the Final Fight with the Krang 👏🏻✨

The choreography of the fights are beautifully done, the animators and storyboard artists really put their hearts into this movie ^^ 💚 For the intro I would really loved to see that one deleted scene made it in the final version or a variation of it.. but I still liked the one they choose, in the end it’s still a really good movie ✨

Would also been great to see some concept designs of F!Raph and F!Donnie I would have loved to see them so much!! but you can’t win them all :(

But the screen time of F!Leo and F!Mickey was cool to see at least, I also liked Casey Jr, he really is Leo’s son :]
