🌹 Winx Club AU: Rosia, Witch of Briar 🌹

Now getting into the Erdennian witches, first up is Rosia! Hers was so much fun to put together(might be my favorite, to be honest), because I already had a lot of red and rose-themed clothing and accessories pinned in my fashion board on Pinterest lol. Rosia was always a witch in every version of this AU, at first because I simply thought it would be fun to imagine her in some of the darker witch aesthetics. Though a new reason why for this current version is because I took inspiration from her name and the rose flower, and decided to make her magic more thorny and fitting for a witch, while keeping her more bubbly and compassionate nature to make her be a positive role model for fellow witches. I hope you enjoy!

Some extra notes about her witch form:

The shiny belt would be black, with the overlay skirt part of the outfit having a rose pattern. Her heels would be the same, but the straps would go up to her knees. The sheer black gloves are the same and would go above the elbow, but the roses on them would be the same color as the roses on her shoes. The headpiece's jewels and roses would match the colors of the choker necklace, with the metal parts of the necklace being silver too.

Her hair is placed in a high and extra curly ponytail, with a black hairband that has a red rose attached. Her makeup consists of dark red eyeshadow with white and a lighter red on the inside corners of the eye, crystals on the side of her eyes shaped to look like roses, dark red blush, dark red lipstick, and long black nails with red roses painted on them.

It’s an ordinary day in the Mushroom Kingdom, and in typical Mario Bros fashion, Mario and his brother, Luigi (and Starlow because she’s been there) have went Alice in Wonderland crazy from Egad’s Computer Tech and ended up in a beautiful city called MIDI City. Having experienced their wild wacky adventures, they explored around this neonish city to find out what this beautiful musical city is about and met Plasmagica, an all-girl band who are training for the Grateful Rock Festival at the Boodookan. Not knowing that Bowser's Troops are following them, they trained Plasmagica, as the Mario Bros. and Starlow prep for Bowser’s Minions to arrive in MIDI City.

Meanwhile, Bowser has been under his schemes on kidnapping Princess Peach until he was contacted by Dagger Mors, whose selfish and evil, and is planning to take over Midi City and the Sound World by assembling a very powerful band. He meets Bowser via. Bowser Jr’s tech, as he asked Bowser a proposal for him, to which the two negotiated and made a deal to work together. Dagger sends in Criticrista and Bowser sends his Minions to Dagger. With this deal, Bowser forces Criticrista to conquer the Mushroom Kingdom with their musical idolization while Dagger uses Bowser’s Minions to squat the Mario Bros. and Plasmagica.

“Koopaling’s Musical Road”

After the events of Bowser Junior's Journey, the Koopalings found themselves in MIDI City too. They wanted to learn secrets from MIDI City's history, and the creation of the dark monsters. Joining forces with a piano spirit named Beethoven's Ghost, they went on a musical journey on a musical road while hearing songs from the first season of the SHOW BY ROCK!! Anime Series!

Description: This was requested by Megaguy56 (from DeviantArt) for the crossover idea. And I had no idea that ‘Show By Rock’ is a Sanrio franchise. And yes, THE Sanrio who created Hello Kitty, My Melody, and ofc, Aggretsuko.

Before working on this crossover, I have actually watched S1 & S2 of ‘Show By Rock” to understand the concept and anime. And to my surprise, I ended up really liking the songs and the anime after finishing up S1 & 2 (and my favorite song for ‘Show By Rock’ had to be ‘Close to You’, given being a S2 finale).

But, hey, here’s another of those Mario & Luigi Cover Art crossovers, one that’s another rock band genre (and anime).

Shred Force OC because I love the pilot and I wish it got greenlit. I'm also going to ramble about some random lore ideas I have.

So her name is Rosia Twiggy, she's a violin alien robot akin to Nordic Bunny and their both dating (Villainous Rivals to Lovers)

So, some lore ideas I had for Shred Force was that "Were their other music gods as well?" So for Rosia, I'd say she was associated with the Orchestra Gods (essentially the Rock Gods before the Rock Gods) but turned on them later on when they decided to give up their mantle as the main music gods. Since Rosia is also Nordic's counterpart, she also has lobster minions.

For Rosia's personality, she's essentially a evil version of Classified from Penguins of Madagascar (2014). She's a arrogant smug villain who wants to conquer Earth for her own personal reasons. She's a calm and collected conquer who is sophisticated as possible, but does have a short fuse when properly provoked.

Trivia time

Despite her ego and what she wants to believe, she can be a big goofball like Nordic sometimes. (Quite literally doesn't know the difference between crabs and lobsters, can't pronounce vintage, can be just as hammy as him, and tends to give overly dramatic and dumb speeches about how the Orchestra Gods were the best.)

Is British

She can extend her arms to a certain degree.

Get extremely pissed off if someone calls her Twiggy even though it's her last name

Is very fond of insulting others she thinks are beneath her

Likes classical music and hates punk music

Nordic Bunny x Rosia Twiggy ship names are these: Norsia, RockViolin, and ClassicalRock

The last time I drew a full-color drawing of them was in fall of 2020, so it's been long overdue to give these two some love again. For those who do not remember/know, both Rosia and Carmelo work in the Erdennian palace for the royal family; Rosia is Crowned Princess Gaia's lady-in-waiting(and best friend), and Carmelo is the royal gardener. They are also a happily married couple and big romantics, so to me they are a perfect pair to draw for the day of love~
