Portrayed by Billie Piper, Rose was the first companion that many young fans met, and is also a teenager with a regular-girl background, which made her relatable and take on a special significance to lots of fans within the fandom.

Though some fans felt that Rose was portrayed as a Mary Sue, and disliked the focus the show had on her romantic attraction to the Doctor, she is also popularly shipped with multiple incarnations of the Doctor.

tbh that was a hell of a bait-n-switch.. really fuckin got me.

I liked the sorta analogue horror influenced vhs bit, but the effects were kinda,, bad?? Didn’t look grainy enough to be vhs y-know,, like it’s gotta look like it’s been put through a meat grinder and reassembled for it to be spooky like that,,,

also. Kinda thought there’d be more pantheon members before the big bad?? Also what was that about Ruby’s mum knowing about the Beast. That was kinda glossed over..

I wanted it to be Susan so bad. Let me SEE HER. Good god. I hope she’s ok.

One time I listened to an official dw audio book with 10 and rose, and at some point the doctor remarks to a statue while trying to find Rose "Rose is prettier then you." Bruh wtf did that statue do to you??

Pretty sure the audio book was called the stone rose, it was read my David Tennant pretty sure :)
