Hello Raincode Community! I have come to post about Yuma’s birthday<3

First of all, I apologize for being inactive, exams got in the way of me participating in Yuma Month. I’m still a little upset I wasn’t able to get through all the prompts. But hey, I’m at a 3.7 GPA at least 🫶🏼

Im currently working on Yuma’s birthday drawing. I decided to give up on Yakou to focus on my favorite purple wizard. (my bf always calls Yuma that 😭)

When I’m done drawing it, I’ll be going onto the rest of the prompts for Yuma Month, stay tuned!

Motivation really hit me hard, I’m just glad I have more Freetime now<3

Happy Birthday to my favorite Amnesiac Detective Yuma Kokohead! He’s trying his best, I love him sm.

Cakepop info:

- Cakepop is made by Halara and Fubuki.

- Cloud is hardened chocolate with caramel on the inside.

- The hardened chocolate varies with flavors depending on the detective’s preferences. The chocolate’s painted gray.

- The actual flavor of the cakepop also varies depending on the detective’s favorite cake flavors. Each of the 6 cakepops are made specifically to each detective!

Cake Info:

- The main flavor of the cake is Ube cake

- Coconut shavings decorated half of the cake (Desuhiko put the coconut there to make a pun out of Yuma’s name)

- The icing is Ube buttercream, the light purple icing and white icing is normal buttercream. The vibrant purple is fondant

- The umbrella is edible and is made out of white chocolate.

- The roses are made by Kurumi, and they are also made out of white chocolate (Small coconut shavings to give out a glitter effect).

- The frosting and cake was made by Fubuki, Desuhiko got the ingredients with Kurumi (Yakou supervised them)

- Shinigami somehow made herself to be a cake topper / Candle holder

Day Ten of WangXian Christmas Stories!

Jin Zixuan dropped Jiang Yanli off in front of the mall with a quick kiss and a “see you later!” before speeding off only a little bit to make it in time to his work meeting. She shook snow off herself as she walked in and made her way to the mall’s resident Starbucks place, where it was easy to spot Wei Ying and his festive Irish Cream Cold Brew. He seemed deep in thought, searching something on his phone as he sipped through a red straw. 

“Good morning!” Yanli greeted and left a small kiss on her brother’s cheek, delighted to see he’d ordered her a creamy cappuccino and a cakepop. “Why are you so deep in thought? Everything okay?”

“Yeah, everything’s fine, I’m just wracking my brain trying to find something to get Lan Zhan! This is our first Christmas together as a couple and it’s a big deal, right?”

“Well, yeah, but he’ll probably be happy with anything as long as it’s from you!” She smiled, reassuring. 

But Wei Ying only sighed in response. “That’s the problem! He doesn’t want anything! I can’t just give him a box of nothing!”

“The mall is huge, we’ll definitely find something to put in that box.” Yanli sipped at her coffee. “Or... you remember that internet song a while back? About a di-”

Wei Ying turned red entirely. “Shijie! No!”

“I’m saying, it’s a possibility. If all else fails... I’m sure he won’t mind that either.”

“Please, stop talking!”

Yanli could only laugh.

“What will you get the Peacock?” Wei Ying asked as they walked into yet another gift shop. “I bet he made an itemized wish list or something.”

“He’s not that bad, A-Xian. And actually, I have the same problem as you, he doesn’t really want anything.”

“I can bet, with all that money he’s his own Santa every day.”

A disapproving look. “A-Xian.”

“What? It’s true.”

Yanli couldn’t argue with that, busying herself with admiring colorful gift boxes and stockings. “But even so, there is something he wants.”

“What, a new Lambo?”

Yanli rolled her eyes. “No. A-Xuan really wants us to have a baby already.”

“Well, it’s not like you can find one for sale at the mall!” Wei Ying clicked his tongue. “Get him a coffee cup or something. I’m sure he knows what to do to get that other thing, not even he is that stupid.”

Yanli smiled a bit mysteriously. “I already have his gift, though.”

Had Wei Ying not put down the glass globe he’d picked up, he would have shattered it. “Shijie... you’re...”

She nodded, giggling excitedly. “Yes! I’m going to tell him this Christmas!”

Wei Ying enveloped her in a bone-crushing hug. “That’s amazing! I can’t wait to be an uncle!”

About five hours of festive shopping later, the two were finally on their way towards the exit. 

“Thank you for the help, shijie, I don’t know how I would’ve done this without you!”

“Nothing to thank me for, I’m always here for you! A-Xuan should be here any minute now, I’ll tell him to drop you off home too.”

“Thank y-”

But it was much to Wei Ying’s and Yanli’s surprise to find not one but two cars waiting for them outside, one belonging to Jin Zixuan, the other to Lan Zhan. 

The two chatted idly as they waited, and seemed a bit too grateful to see their spouses finally appear.

“Lan Zhan? What are you doing here?”

“Wei Ying would not answer his phone. I was worried, so I asked about you. Jin Zixuan told me you were at the mall with your sister and he let me know when you were finished to come get you.”

Lan Zhan reached to look into the bags his beloved was carrying but Wei Ying was quick to snatch them away. “Nothing to see here! I’ll put them in the trunk!”

Lan Zhan rose an amused eyebrow. “That is not a subtle way to hide gifts, Wei Ying. And you didn’t need to spend money on me, either.”

“Wrong. And also too late.” 

Wei Ying bid goodbye to his sister and climbed into the passenger seat of Lan Zhan’s car. “Anyway, you shouldn’t be a hypocrite. I know you probably got me like a thousand gifts already, I only got you one or two.”

The car purred to life as Lan Zhan smoothly turned it in the direction of their home. “Wei Ying deserves all the best.”

“I already have you, what else is there?”

Lan Zhan braked suddenly, ears burning red. “Wei Ying, do not say such things or I might crash the car.”

Happy Mothers Day! This cake pop recipe is inspired by the cake pops offered at the Disneyland Resort. They are usually offered during valentines day but I thought these would also be cute for mothers day or fathers day or even if you want to gift edible flowers instead of real ones. You can always use black candy melts and make them for Halloween :D | Recipe | 6 oz Butter 2 Cups Sugar 3 Eggs 2 Cups Flour 3/4 Cup Cocoa Powder 1 tsp Baking Soda 3/4 tsp Baking Powder 1/2 tsp Salt 1 1/2 Cup Milk 2 tsp Vanilla Extract Bake at 350º for 30 minutes. I baked mine in a 1/4 sheet pan. • Chocolate Buttercream 6 oz Butter 4 Cups Powdered Sugar 1/2 Cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder Pinch Salt 1/3 Cup Heavy Cream // Milk 2 tsp Vanilla Extract • Sour Belt candy • Red and Green candy melts for decorating • Lollipop sticks or paper straws • This recipe made about 2 dozen 2 inch roses
