#“rori all of these are your faves how can there be a bad answer” well I still have an internal ranking on some of these#and if all of you pick an option that I think pales in comparison to the others. well. hm#I know what's gonna sweep though because two of these are niche as hell and 4 maybe 5 of these are things you people don't follow me for#fun fact I actually had to scrape my brain to make sure I couldn't come up with any more#I am unintentionally very picky on what is a favorite apparentlyyyy#I also just don't watch/read enough stuff these days so there's that#AND I NEED LONG TERM EXPOSURE TO KNOW THEY'RE STICKING AROUND#so like. I have some options but I don't KNOWWW if they're sticking yet#but this feels like such a small poll lmao#also no sapphics on here this is actually cause I hate women-#NO. JOKING. zelink is here. I almost put gideon and harrow but I'm in a perpetual state of not having finished tlt#and I couldn't put nebetta and darya I was drawing the line at 2 tbos ships. well. actually. changed my mind#not editing these tags actually you guys can see my thought process#WAIT AND SAYMARI. Honestly, what does "hasn't been born yet" even mean for a time traveler. That they haven't been born yet in whatever time they're visiting? Or that Susan herself had been born in his personal future and went off traveling with his first(??) self? The latter is more interesting, at least.
In that case, it could mean he had been a father before, but not to Susan's parent, and was still going to be again.
Or yeah they could just mess up. Moffat was extremely big on just saying and doing whatever was most interesting at the moment, and abandoning it the moment it became inconvenient to him personally. But that's not the norm anymore - I hope.
People who have seen under 20 years of Doctor Who: Aw I can't believe they teased the Doctor's family but we didn't learn anything
People who have seen Too Much Doctor Who: THEY CONFIRMED SUSAN'S PARENT HASN'T BEEN BORN YET?? FINALLY A SIGNIFICANT UPDATE!! WE ARE MAKING REAL PROGRESS!!

THINGS I NOTICED WHILE WATCHING BEETLEJUICE BEETLEJUICE AGAIN:
This is a very Beetlebabes-centric post, so if you don’t like the ship, please feel free to scroll away. <3
Tumblr media
Beetlejuice cut Delores’ ring finger off, and while it was originally a fun joke in the first movie, there’s deep implications about that action when we look at it with the context of the second film. Beetlejuice attacked her after she betrayed him. Anyone would want to kill the person that poisoned them, but the fact that he took the time to find her finger and deliberately cut her ring finger off (and ONLY that finger) reflects how much that marriage meant to him. It also symbolizes that he’s effectively dissolving their marriage. He’s cut off the physical representation of their love and taken the ring, which he tries to give to Lydia hundreds of years later. He held onto that ring for centuries in hopes of finding someone he deemed worthy of it.
He calls his dynamic with Lydia a long-distance relationship, which could’ve been a throwaway joke if not for the fact that when he clearly notices how hot Janet is, he never talks to her or gropes her like he did with Barbara prior to meeting Lydia. Keaton said BJ wouldn’t be politically correct, so this isn’t to reflect the current political climate, but rather to reflect BJ’s motivations.
Beetlejuice was jobless at the start of the first movie, and in thirty years he’s built a company for his bio-exorcisms. Coupled with the picture of Lydia on his desk, it’s possible he did this to impress her. After all, she’s famous and rich now. BJ’s gotta step it up, y’know?
Probably overheard the convo between Lydia and Rory and deliberately bugged her at that time, because if he can possess the phone or whatever, he can probably use it to eavesdrop. This can be further supported by how he got rid of the influencers but kept the people that mattered to Lydia present—Delia and Astrid.
We can also assume he overheard the conversation where Lydia said that Rory loves her and that has to be enough because of the panning to a gravestone. BJ has a special fascination with graveyards, even tiny model ones. If he did overhear them, it explains why he used the truth serum on Rory. He’s testing him. He wants to see if this guy actually loves Lydia or if he’s using her, and then he gives Lydia the means to exact revenge on Rory rather than doing anything himself.
Lydia spends half the movie being strong -armed into a marriage with Rory, and in a way, it’s reminiscent of the first movie’s marriage attempt. Rory dangles their “love” in front of her like a carrot, and if she doesn’t want to be alone, she has to accept his manipulation and agree to get married. Yet she immediately offers it to Beetlejuice, only sounding annoyed rather than terrified. And the movie spends a lot of time proving that BJ has sincere motives this time around, whereas Rory doesn’t. It pushes an underlying message that if one of these guys is going to be a better choice, it’ll be BJ.
Despite Lydia having a tendency to back out of their deals, he still helps her first. He prioritizes saving Astrid even before finding his “runaway bride” again.
Casually calls Lydia the love of his life, looks so sincere when he says he’ll make her so happy. Clearly spent those 30 years planning that dream-dance sequence.
He doesn’t seem to care that Lydia’s sending him away. That coupled with the end scene illustrates how confident he is this time around. Lydia is still stuck with him, and even if he didn’t get her this time, he will eventually. But he also knows how spooked she is by marriage after being a snoop, so it’s possible that he’s just taking it slow on purpose.
In conclusion: Beetlejuice genuinely does want to be with Lydia and care about her. His feelings have evolved beyond permanent residence in the mortal world. If anything, if he still wants that, it’s so he can be by her side.

𝟷.𝟽𝚔 || 𝐑𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐎 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐉𝐔𝐋𝐈𝐄𝐓
♡ ︎ꜱᴜᴍᴍᴀʀʏ: Romeo and Juliet had nothing on you and Jess Mariano.
♡ ︎ᴡᴀʀɴɪɴɢꜱ: None
♡ ︎ꜱʜɪᴘ: Jess Mariano x reader
Tumblr media
The small bell above the diner door jingled, signaling your arrival at Luke’s Diner. As you stepped inside, you caught sight of Jess Mariano slouched in his usual booth, a dog-eared book in his hands. His dark eyes flicked up just briefly from the pages before returning to whatever literary masterpiece he was engrossed in.
You and Jess had a thing. Well, not officially. Not that anyone was thrilled about the prospect of it becoming official, except maybe you. You were supposed to be the sweet, well-liked girl in town—the one who got along with everyone, including Rory Gilmore, who always threw daggers your way every time you were caught within a ten-foot radius of Jess.
Lorelai wasn’t any better. She’d never been particularly subtle, and her dramatic sighs whenever she spotted you two talking were enough to fill a whole novel themselves. And Luke? Well, Luke had his usual I’m going to throttle my nephew expression on his face.
It wasn’t like Jess was helping to ease anyone’s concerns, either. If anything, he seemed to enjoy the chaos. He lived for the thrill of rebellion, the undercurrent of defiance. And you? Well, you were getting a kick out of it, too.
You slid into the booth opposite him, the vinyl squeaking under your jeans as you gave him a once-over. “Hey, Romeo,” you said, leaning forward. “What tragic tale of doomed love are we reading today?”
Jess’s lips quirked up, his eyes still on the page. “Wuthering Heights,” he said dryly. “You know, to set the mood for our inevitable downfall.”
You grinned. “How fitting. Are we at the part where Heathcliff wrecks everything?”
Jess finally looked up, his gaze meeting yours. “Depends. Have you made up your mind to ruin my life yet?”
“Who says you’re not the one ruining mine?” you teased back, earning yourself a full smirk from him. His hand casually turned the page of the book, but his attention was clearly focused on you now.
Before either of you could continue, the door opened again, and in strolled Rory and Lorelai. Instinctively, you straightened, feeling the weight of their disapproval from across the room. They exchanged knowing looks, whispering between themselves, and Lorelai’s exasperated sigh wasn’t even the least bit subtle.
Jess rolled his eyes, leaning back in the booth. “Well, if it isn’t the Montagues.”
You chuckled softly under your breath. “Ignore them.”
“Hard to, when they’re so invested in our tragic demise.”
“Tragic?” You arched an eyebrow at him. “A bit melodramatic, don’t you think?”
He shrugged, his smirk growing. “Just quoting the classics. We are in a small town where everyone has an opinion, and they all seem to hate me. Shakespeare would’ve had a field day with this.”
“Oh, totally. You as Romeo, me as Juliet, and the entire town as the bloodthirsty Capulets.”
Jess’s gaze darkened slightly, his tone playful but serious beneath it. “You know how that ends, right? Double suicide, lots of crying, poetic last words.”
“Relax,” you said, laughing softly. “No one’s drinking poison or stabbing themselves here. We’re more of a modern adaptation. Happy endings.”
“If you say so, Cherry,” Jess said, leaning forward slightly, his voice a low murmur. The nickname slipped off his tongue with a casual ease that made your heart skip a beat. It had started as a joke, something to poke fun at your fondness for cherry-flavored candies. Now, it felt like a secret only the two of you shared, a reminder that he saw you differently from how everyone else did.
You smiled at him, leaning your chin on your hand. “I do say so, Romeo.”
“Speaking of star-crossed lovers,” he continued, “you planning on telling the entire town about us?”
“What about us?” you grinned, glancing around. “Besides, they’ve already made up their minds.”
“Of course they have,” Jess said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. “It’s Stars Hollow. They hate me.”
“Not everyone hates you.”
“Really?” He gave you a sceptical look. “Name one person.”
“Michel doesn’t hate you,” you said, leaning back with a satisfied grin.
“Michel doesn’t care about anyone.”
“Exactly.” You smirked. “I talk to him about you all the time.”
Jess’s eyes lit up with intrigue. “You talk about me to Michel?”
“In French,” you replied nonchalantly, picking at the edge of your napkin. “It’s our little secret. So, even if the whole town thinks you’re the worst, Michel remains blissfully indifferent.”
“Lucky me,” Jess muttered, though his eyes gleamed with amusement. “So, what do you tell him? How much you adore me? How I’m your Romeo, destined to sweep you off your feet?”
You shrugged, playing coy. “Maybe.”
“I knew it,” he said with a grin, leaning in closer. “You’ve got it bad for me, don’t you?”
Before you could respond, Luke approached the table, wiping his hands on his apron and glaring down at Jess. “You bothering her?”
“Not at all,” Jess said smoothly, leaning back. “We’re just discussing the great literary works.”
“Right,” Luke deadpanned, clearly not buying it. “Well, whatever you’re discussing, don’t get any ideas.”
Jess raised his hands in mock surrender. “No ideas here, Uncle Luke. Just harmless banter.”
Luke shot you a look that said I know exactly what’s going on before walking away, mumbling something about young people and bad influences.
You turned back to Jess, who was watching you with that infuriatingly smug expression.
“You know,” you said, picking up the book in front of him and flipping through the pages. “For all your talk of tragedy, I think we’re more of a comedy.”
“Comedy?” he asked, raising an eyebrow. “You’re sure about that?”
“Absolutely,” you nodded, meeting his gaze. “Everyone’s making a fuss, we’re keeping secrets, and at the end of the day, it all works out.”
“Is that so?” Jess tilted his head, his voice dropping slightly. “What makes you so sure?”
“Because,” you said, your smile softening as you looked at him, “no one dies in our story.”
Jess looked at you for a long moment, his expression unreadable before he finally chuckled softly, his defences melting ever so slightly. “Alright, Cherry. If you say so.”
“I do.” You leaned forward, mirroring his earlier movement. “Now, where were we?”
Jess smirked. “Oh, I think you know.”
Tumblr media
Stars Hollow had never been one for keeping secrets. Gossip moved faster than a Gilmore Girl with coffee, and somehow, before you'd even realized it, everyone knew that something was going on between you and Jess Mariano. Well, everyone except you and Jess, apparently.
You leaned against the counter at the Dragonfly Inn, flipping through the latest book you had been unable to put down, your mind still half in the world of fictional characters and tragic romances. Michel was at his desk, typing with exaggerated annoyance.
“Il est agaçant (He is annoying),” you said in a hushed tone, eyes still glued to your book.
Michel barely looked up. “I assume you’re talking about the delinquent,” he replied, his accent as sharp as ever.
You sighed, a smile tugging at your lips. “Yes, of course. Who else?”
“I don’t get it,” you had said to Michel one afternoon as you sat at the reception desk. “Why is everyone so against him? They don’t even know him.”
Michel had waved a hand, unimpressed. “Parce qu’ils sont tous idiots." (Because they are all idiots.)
The bell above the door chimed, and you looked up to see Jess walk in, his usual smirk firmly in place.
“Hey, Cherry,” Jess greeted you, leaning against the counter casually.
You raised an eyebrow, fighting the smile that threatened to break free. “Mon cher Roméo (My dear Romeo),” you replied playfully.
Jess chuckled, glancing around the empty lobby. “Don’t tell me Lorelai or Rory have been by to lecture you again?”
“Oh, they have,” you said, rolling your eyes. “Apparently, I’m making a huge mistake.”
Jess shrugged, not offended but rather amused by the whole town’s reaction to him. “What can I say? I’m Stars Hollow’s favorite villain.”
“Maybe it’s time for a redemption arc,” you teased, pushing the book you were reading across the counter towards him.
He picked it up, scanning the title with mild interest. “Pride and Prejudice? Not exactly light reading.”
“Well, I have to keep up with someone,” you shot back, raising an eyebrow. “You know, the town’s resident bad boy with impeccable taste in literature.”
Jess smirked. “Impeccable, huh? High praise, Juliet.”
You rolled your eyes. “I just don’t get why everyone’s so obsessed with what we’re doing. It’s not like we’re… I don’t know.”
“In love?” Jess finished for you, his tone playful but carrying a hint of something more.
Your heart skipped a beat. “Yeah, that.”
Jess’s gaze softened for a moment, and the teasing smirk fell from his lips, replaced by something more serious. “Maybe they’re just jealous they’re not living in their own Shakespearean tragedy,” he said, his voice lower now.
You scoffed, trying to brush off the intensity of the moment. “A tragedy? Please. You and I both know we’re way too smart to fall into that trap.”
He leaned closer, his eyes never leaving yours. “Is that what you think, Cherry? That we’re too smart to end up like Romeo and Juliet?”
The reference wasn’t lost on you. It never was. Jess had this way of weaving literature into every conversation, turning something mundane into something more. And you knew what he was doing, teasing you, pushing boundaries.
You bit your lip, leaning in just a fraction closer. “I mean, I do prefer happy endings.”
Jess’s eyes flickered with something unreadable, and then he leaned back, the playful smirk returning to his lips. “Good to know. I’ll keep that in mind.”
Before you could say anything else, the door swung open again, and Lorelai walked in, her eyes immediately narrowing when she saw Jess.
“Oh, great,” she muttered. “Romeo and Juliet. How fitting.”
You groaned inwardly. “Lorelai…”
But she wasn’t listening. She marched over, standing between you and Jess, arms crossed. “Jess, don’t you have a book to brood over somewhere else? Preferably far away?”
Jess just raised his eyebrows, completely unfazed. “Nice to see you too, Lorelai.”
“Yeah, well, the feeling isn’t mutual,” Lorelai shot back, turning to you. “Seriously, you need to be careful with him.”
Jess glanced at you, and for a moment, there was something unspoken in his eyes—something that made your heart race. You knew he wasn’t going to push back against Lorelai, not right now. Instead, he gave you one last lingering look before turning to leave.
“See you later, Cherry,” he said softly, as he walked out the door.
Lorelai groaned once he was gone, turning back to you. “I really don’t get it. What do you see in him?”
You didn’t answer right away, your mind still on the way Jess had looked at you, the way your heart had skipped a beat when he called you Juliet. Maybe you were falling for him. And maybe, just maybe, it wasn’t such a bad thing.
“Je ne sais pas, (I don't know)” you muttered under your breath, catching Michel’s amused smirk from behind the desk.
But deep down, you knew.
Romeo and Juliet had nothing on you and Jess Mariano.

CHAPTER 7: Who Want Smoke?
As the Qatar Grand Prix weekend kicked into high gear, Rorie and Lyric strolled the paddock, with fans waving excitedly. Lewis's popularity was stratospheric, but his family's place in the hearts of his supporters was undeniable.
They pushed through the throngs of fans and paparazzi, and Rorie was touched by the outpouring of support directed to them.
"You're an inspiration, Mrs. Hamilton!" "We love your little one!" "Hang in there, you've got this!"
One woman tentatively approached, a gentle smile on her face. "I just wanted to say, as someone who also struggled with infertility, your story gives me so much hope."
Rorie felt her throat tighten with grateful tears as she pulled the stranger into a fierce hug. "Thank you, that means so much to me."
The pit lane was abuzz with pre-race excitement as the teams made their final preparations. Rorie settled into the garage, handing a squirming Lyric over to Rosa's waiting arms. Their son, who proudly wore his custom Mercedes team romper, smiled happily at the woman.
"You're on auntie duty today," Rorie winked at Lewis's communications personnel.
Rosa grinned, cuddling the giggly toddler close on her lap. "My favorite job! We're going to have so much fun, aren't we, my little prince?"
Lyric gurgled happily, grabbing at Rosa's headset with grabby hands. With a chuckle, she gently redirected him to a Mercedes toy car instead.
"He's already a natural in front of the cameras," Rorie chuckled to herself, watching Lyric babble animatedly at the Netflix camera crew capturing footage of him playing with Rosa.
Her smile faded slightly as she scrolled through the latest flurry of emails from her legal team. Despite their relentless efforts, Julian's messages held little in the way of substantive updates on tracking down the anonymous sender of those malicious texts.
"Still digging," his latest read. "But this assailant knows how to cover their tracks."
Rorie worried her lower lip, her mind flashing back to the threats of those messages. But then Lyric's tinkling laughter drifted over, dragging her back to the present. She watched her son squirm excitedly in Rosa's lap, all smiles and unbridled joy.
As the race began, the tension in the garage was palpable. Rorie's heart pounded as she watched Lewis take his place on the starting grid, however, just seconds into the formation lap, her breath caught in her throat as she witnessed Lewis get knocked into the gravel by his teammate George, the front wing of his car destroyed.
"What the fuck is he doing?" she gasped, watching in horror as Lewis unbuckled himself and began walking along the far side of the active track back towards the pit lane.
A collective cry rose from the crew as Lewis narrowly avoided being struck by another passing car. Rorie's heart dropped to her stomach, panic gripping her.
Finally, he returned to the pit lane, jaw clenched and fists flexing agitatedly.
"What the fuck, man!!" he screamed, his fingers hurrying to take off his helmet. Rorie rushed to him, pulling his tense frame into a fierce embrace just as Lyric let out a wail of distress from Rosa's lap.
Lewis's fiery eyes softened instantly at the sound of his son's cries. He reached for the distraught toddler, cradling him close and pressing kisses to his head.
"Shhh, hey, it's okay…" he murmured soothingly. "Daddy's right here. I've got you."
Rorie wrapped her arms tightly around them both, grounding her two men with her steady, reassuring presence. Lewis melted into her embrace, the adrenaline and anger slowly seeping out of his body.
"It's okay, I'm right here," she whispered roughly into his neck, and Lewis breathed in her scent to calm his racing heart.
Rorie wrapped her arms tightly around them both, grounding her two men with her steady, reassuring presence. Lewis melted into her embrace, the adrenaline and anger slowly seeping out of his body.
"Lewis…" Bono's voice cut in tentatively. "The FIA stewards are issuing a non-driving reprimand and a 50,000 pound fine for the track incursion."
Lewis tensed, his jaw clenching as the anger flared again. "I don't give a fuck," he bit out harshly.
"Lewis!" Rorie admonished, slapping his arm chidingly before turning an apologetic look to Bono. "He doesn't mean that. We'll discuss it and work through it properly."
Once Bono had retreated, she fixed her husband with a stern look. "You don't mean that 'I don't give a fuck' nonsense."
To her surprise, Lewis simply chuckled, guiding them to a quiet corner of the garage. He set Lyric down to play with his toy car on the floor. "I mean, Toto looks pissed," he sang in a joking lilt, nodding towards his team principal's stormy expression.
Rorie rolled her eyes, though her lips twitched with amusement. "Of course you'll joke at a time like this."
"It's a better alternative than letting the anger consume me," Lewis said simply. "Now distract me with something, beautiful."
His wife's brow furrowed in thought before her eyes lit up. "Well, Julian did text some updates earlier…"
Lewis kissed his teeth dismissively. "Something better than that mess, love."
A sly grin played across Rorie's lips. "How about…I'm a week late?"
Lewis's eyes widened comically before crinkling with unfiltered joy. "You mean…?"
"We might be having another baby," she confirmed, beaming.
Sweeping her into his arms, Lewis kissed her deeply, reverently. "That's amazing. You know we've been trying…"
Rorie nodded, still glowing. "And, Lil Yachty reached out. He wants me to join him onstage in Austin to perform our song 'The Zone' together."
Lewis's eyes widened with delight before crinkling into a broad grin. "Now that's what I'm talking about! My superstar wife, sharing the spotlight." Pulling her into an embrace, he nuzzled her neck affectionately. "You're definitely doing it. I can't wait to watch you shine, love."
"You really think so?" Rorie bit her lip, a touch of apprehension creeping into her expression. "In front of all those people..."
On a whim, she recorded her parts of the song late last year and was lucky that no one had figured out that it was her singing.
"Of course!" Lewis cupped her face adoringly. "This is your moment. You're going to be incredible, I just know it." He pressed his forehead to hers, their breaths mingling. "And after? Well, I've got a few ideas on how we can celebrate..."
Rorie's cheeks flushed hotly, but her eyes danced with anticipation. Giggling, she swatted him playfully. "Down boy. One thing at a time."
Laughing, Rorie pulled him close, reveling in the way their latest challenges had already transformed into cherished memories in the face of potential new beginnings.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The warm Malibu evening was made for intimate gatherings among friends. Rorie surveyed their patio, smiling as she watched KiKi dance provocatively against Miles, grinding to the pulsing beat of the music.
In the kitchen, Lewis observed the scene with a slight frown. "Does she have to be so…extra?"
Rorie rolled her eyes good-naturedly at her husband's protectiveness over his best friend. "Leave them be, babe. KiKi's just having fun." Abandoning the Mediterranean salad she was prepping, she wound her arms around Lewis's waist from behind. "Speaking of fun…have you checked on your wife lately?"
He turned in her embrace, eyes twinkling as his hands skimmed over her curves. "And how is my gorgeous girl feeling?"
"Mmm, can't complain," Rorie hummed. "But I still haven't taken that test yet."
"Rorie," Lewis groaned exaggeratedly. "The suspense is killing me! You gotta take that test." He stole a slice of cucumber from the salad bowl, grinning unrepentantly when she swatted his hand.
Their gazes drifted to the patio, where Andrew now held a giggling Lyric, the toddler's babbling laughter drifting through the open doors.
"Yeah, yeah...." Rorie murmured wistfully. "I hope he's going to be a good big brother."
Lewis brushed a kiss to her temple. "He might be a bit jealous at first, but he'll grow into it, you'll see."
"I had a good rehearsal with Lil Yachty yesterday for Austin," Rorie said, changing the subject. "Though I'll probably just keep it simple with the choreography."
"That's my wise wife," Lewis chuckled. "Oh, speaking of…I've got that tequila tasting in Mexico the day after tomorrow for Almave."
Rorie clicked her tongue in playful disapproval. "So you'll miss date night with the Biebers?"
"I'll make it up to you." Lewis backed her against the counter, his voice dropping an octave. "I promise…"
The searing trail of his kisses along her neck was interrupted by Spinz's pointed clearing of his throat from the doorway.
"The food's ready, you two. Save it for later, yeah?"
Grinning unabashedly, they reluctantly disentangled and headed outside, Rorie carrying the salad while Lewis grabbed plates and utensils.
As the group settled around the patio table, Lewis raised his glass. "To new adventures - hopefully with a little one on the way…"
He was met with hoots and hollers from their crew. Rorie beamed, shaking her head in mock annoyance at his antics.
"And to smoking out whoever's been playing games," she added, eyes narrowing slightly. "Because I'll personally beat their ass when we find them."
The group erupted into raucous laughter and dug into the spread of grilled meats and vegetables. Whatever storms awaited, they would weather them together - an unbreakable crew fortified by years of love, laughter, and unwavering loyalty.
__________________________________________
The morning light filtered through the gauzy curtains, rousing Rorie from her peaceful slumber. Before she could fully awaken, strong arms encircled her waist, pulling her back against Lewis's solid chest.
"Mmm, where do you think you're going?" he rumbled, voice still husky with sleep as his lips found the sensitive spot behind her ear.
Rorie couldn't stifle a breathy giggle. "Insatiable, aren't we?"
She turned in his embrace, pressing a tender kiss to his lips, but Lewis deepened the kiss hungrily, his eyebrows waggling with suggestive promise.
"Always for you."
A tiny cry from the nursery broke the heated moment. Rorie regretfully unlatched herself from her husband's roaming hands.
"Duty calls," she murmured apologetically, sliding out of bed.
"Tease…" Lewis whined playfully, whipping the covers off to reveal his morning wood with a roguish grin. "Come back to Daddy once you're finished."
Rorie chuckled, shaking her head in fond exasperation. "You're awful."
"Sometimes," was his nonchalant response. "Gotta make sure I put that baby in you."
"Boy, bye," she said as she rolled her eyes. Shrugging into a silk robe, she padded down the hall to Lyric's nursery. The toddler babbled excitedly as she lifted him from the crib, nuzzling his chubby cheeks.
"Good morning, little man."
"Hi Mama!" Lyric chirped, all bright-eyed innocence.
Downstairs, the faint sound of murmurs caught Rorie's ear as she settled Lyric into his high chair with a bottle. Peering out onto the patio, she spotted KiKi in an intense conversation on her phone.
"No…I'm not doing that anymore," KiKi hissed, her back stiff with tension. "I've had enough. Goodbye!"
Rorie's eyebrows shot up incredulously as KiKi spun around, nearly dropping her phone at the sight of her friend. A sickly sweet smile pasted itself across her face.
"Hey girl! Just dealing with some work drama…" KiKi blustered, waving a dismissive hand as she breezed back inside.
Rorie's brow furrowed skeptically. "Everything okay?"
"Oh yeah, totally!" KiKi replied a little too brightly. "Just a difficult customer, you know how it goes."
An uneasy prickle danced along Rorie's spine as recent events swirled in her mind. Shaking it off, she continued assembling a breakfast feast - mounds of fresh fruit, whole grain waffles, and tofu scramble for herself alongside Lyric's preferred avocado toast strips.
KiKi cleared her throat, clearly aiming to change the subject. "So…any thoughts on that test yet?"
Rorie paused, gripping the counter's edge tensely. "I don't know, Ki. Part of me wants to stay in blissful ignorance for now."
Her friend's eyes danced with both mirth and understanding. "Girl, you know that's not how it works. You gotta rip off that band-aid!"
Heaving a reluctant sigh, Rorie nodded. KiKi was right, as usual. She couldn't keep avoiding it. Just then, her phone began trilling shrilly from the other room. Rorie frowned, crossing the living area to retrieve it. The display showed Yael's name and headshot.
Answering with trepidation, she listened in growing disbelief as her image manager's anxious voice tumbled through the line.
"Rorie, you need to call your lawyer. The Sun is threatening to run another disgusting article - this time about your biological father's identity."
A bitter chuckle escaped Rorie's lips. So the rag was digging into her past yet again. She'd known the truth about her deadbeat sperm donor's identity since age twelve, his name the only paltry scrap of information her mother had given her.
"I'll look over the documents you forwarded," she assured Yael neutrally. "But I'm not concerned about that low-life's identity being made public. I've never known the man."
"I still think you should—"
A raucous clatter sounded from the kitchen, followed by Lyric's shrill giggles. Rorie's chest flooded with warmth, their call abruptly forgotten.
"Sorry, Yael but Mommy's messy boy needs me," she chuckled ruefully, hurrying back to the chaos and hanging up.
"He's such a messy eater," KiKi said with a half-smile, wiping at Lyric's face with a wet cloth. KiKi had Lyric halfway out of his high chair, his chubby limbs and cherubic face smeared with mashed avocado and fruit puree. Mother and friend shared an exasperated look as the toddler gurgled happily.
Rorie chuckled and scooped Lyric, peppering his sticky cheeks with kisses. "Oh yes, you are! Mommy's messy boy!" she cooed, causing Lyric to giggle and squirm. But then, reality intruded as Rorie glanced down at her son's soiled clothes. "Can you get him a change of clothes? I have to wipe him down," she asked KiKi.
"Of course, darling," KiKi replied, heading to the nursery. The air in Lyric’s nursery was thick with tension as KiKi entered, trying to maintain her composure despite the discomfort. Lewis was already there, his arms crossed and his expression guarded, as he paused unpacking his son's suitcase.
"Lewis," KiKi said, her voice clipped and formal.
"KiKi," Lewis replied, his tone just as cool.
They stood there for a moment, each sizing the other up, until KiKi finally broke the silence.
"Lyric had an accident so I need to get some clothes."
Lewis let out a long exhale as he walked to the chest of drawers and grabbed a onesie and a pair of shorts. He gave them to KiKi but kept his grasp on the clothes. "You've been acting weird since you got here. What's up?"
"I’m acting weird?" KiKi said, eyebrows furrowing. "Are you high or something?"
Lewis's expression hardened slightly as he released his grip on the clothes. "Just calling it as I’m seeing it."
KiKi felt a wave of anger wash over her at Lewis's accusation. She took a deep breath, trying to keep her cool.
"What exactly do you mean by that?" she asked, her voice laced with frustration.
"I mean, ever since you got here, you've been acting like you're on edge," Lewis replied, his own tone sharp. "So I just want to know what’s going on."
KiKi's jaw tightened as she processed his words. "I don’t know if crashing too many times got your head permanently fucked up, but Aurora’s my best friend, okay? I know that we don’t see eye-to-eye and y’all are knee-deep in an impending lawsuit but I’m loyal to a fault. I would NEVER do anything to mess up Rorie or Lyric."
Upon hearing his wife and son’s names, Lewis's face relaxed. "Fine," he conceded, moving out of KiKi's way. "But I’m watching you. And if I find out you’re doing anything, best believe I’ll take everything from you and have your ass deep in lawsuits you’ll never get out of."
KiKi felt a mixture of anger and hurt at Lewis's words. She knew she had made mistakes in the past, but she had never intentionally tried to hurt anyone. And for him to accuse her of such malicious intentions felt like a low blow.
"Trust me, I don't need your threats to stay in line," she retorted, her voice trembling with emotion. "I'm here to help my friend, not cause any trouble."
Lewis gave her a cold look before leaving the nursery. KiKi took a deep breath, trying to calm herself down before she did or said something that she would regret. She left the nursery and returned downstairs, uneasy about her encounter with Lewis. Returning to the kitchen, she spotted Rorie wiping off an unclothed Lyric in the sink. Rorie’s face lit up as soon as she saw KiKi.
"Thanks, sweetie," she said to her friend as KiKi handed her the new clothes.
KiKi nodded, returning Rorie's smile. "No problem, I'm just glad I could help." She glanced around the kitchen, noticing that it was a bit chaotic with dishes in the sink and food left out on the counter. "Do you want me to help clean up?"
Rorie shook her head. "No need, we have a maid who should be coming now, but thanks for offering." She turned her attention back to Lyric and gently dried him off before putting on his new onesie and shorts.
KiKi watched the exchange between mother and son, feeling a pang of envy in her heart. She had always dreamed of having a child of her own one day, but with her career constantly taking priority, she wasn't sure if that would ever happen.
As if sensing her thoughts, Rorie looked up at KiKi and gave her a sympathetic smile. "You'll find someone who loves you enough to start a family with," she said softly.
KiKi managed a small smile in return. She wasn't ready to open up about her struggles with relationships yet, especially since Rorie already had a lot going on. "Thanks, girl."

Two days later, the Crypto.com Arena buzzed with anticipation as the Lakers faced off against the Warriors in a preseason matchup. Rorie settled into her courtside seat next to Hailey Bieber, both women drawing appreciative glances from nearby fans.
"God, I needed this," Rorie sighed, sinking into the plush seat. "A night out without any mama duties."
Hailey grinned, nudging her friend playfully. "And how's that test situation going?"
Rorie groaned, rolling her eyes. "Not you too. I swear, between Lewis and KiKi, I'm about ready to scream."
"Hey, no judgment here," Hailey said, holding up her hands in mock surrender. "But you know we're all rooting for you, right?" Hailey squeezed her friend's hand supportively.
Rorie groaned. "I know I should take that test, but… I don't know. Part of me is scared to know for sure."
"Because of how hard it was before Lyric?" Hailey guessed.
Rorie nodded. "Yeah. And I've been feeling off lately, but it could be anything, you know? Stress, my crazy schedule, whatever. I guess I'm in denial."
The roar of the crowd swelled as LeBron executed a flawless alley-oop, momentarily drowning out their conversation. Rorie found herself swept up in the excitement, her worries fading to the background as she cheered along with the rest of the arena.
As the game progressed, Rorie's phone buzzed insistently in her purse. She ignored it, determined to enjoy this rare night of freedom. But a nagging voice in the back of her mind wondered if it might be Nina, calling about Lyric.
During a timeout, Hailey leaned in close, her voice low. "So, what's the latest with that lawsuit against The Sun? Justin mentioned you guys were dealing with some heavy stuff."
Rorie's brow furrowed, a familiar unease settling in her stomach. "It's a mess, girl. They're digging into my past now, threatening to publish stuff about my biological father. As if I give a damn about that deadbeat."
"That's awful," Hailey sympathized. "How are you holding up?"
Rorie shrugged, her eyes fixed on the court. "I'm managing. It's just… exhausting, you know? And with everything else going on…"
She trailed off as the timeout ended, the thunderous applause once again filling the arena. Rorie's gaze drifted to the jumbotron, where she caught sight of herself and Hailey on the celebrity cam. They both laughed, striking exaggerated poses for the camera.
As the game entered its final quarter, Rorie found her mind wandering. The constant scrutiny of her personal life, the pressure of her career, the looming possibility of another child – it all swirled together in a dizzying whirlpool of emotion.
"Earth to Rorie," Hailey's voice cut through her reverie. "You good?"
Rorie said nothing, her silence speaking volumes.
Hailey raised an eyebrow, clearly concerned. "Okay, spill. What's really going on?"
Rorie hesitated, then sighed. "It's just… everything. The lawsuit, the baby stuff, and now KiKi's been acting weird. I don't know, maybe I'm just paranoid."
"Weird how?" Hailey pressed gently.
"I overheard her on the phone the other day, sounding all secretive. And Lewis swears something's up with her." Rorie shook her head. "I want to believe she'd never do anything to hurt us, but…"
The final buzzer sounded, signaling the end of the preseason game. As they stood to leave, Rorie's phone buzzed again. This time, she fished it out, her heart skipping a beat as she saw Yael's name on the screen.
"Everything okay?" Hailey asked, concern evident in her voice.
Rorie hesitated, then shook her head. "It's fine. Just some work stuff. Nothing that can't wait until tomorrow."
As they made their way through the throng of departing fans, Rorie couldn't shake the feeling that something was brewing on the horizon. Whether it was the potential pregnancy, KiKi's strange behavior, or this latest message from Yael, she couldn't be sure. But one thing was certain – the calm before the storm was coming to an end.
"Hey," Hailey said softly, linking her arm through Rorie's. "Whatever's going on, you know you've got us, right? Me, Justin, your whole crew – we've got your back."
Rorie managed a genuine smile, feeling a rush of gratitude for her friend. "I know. Thanks, babe."

As Rorie drove home, her mind drifted to her upcoming show with Lil Yachty. She dialed his number, a smile spreading across her face as he picked up.
"Lil' Boat!" she exclaimed cheerfully.
Yachty's laughter filled the car. "Hey there, Ror-Ror! How's my sis?"
They chatted animatedly about their upcoming performance, bouncing ideas off each other and sharing their excitement. When Rorie turned onto her street, however, her good mood evaporated. A swarm of paparazzi clogged the road, their cameras flashing incessantly.
At first, she assumed they were there for one of her celebrity neighbors. But as she inched closer to her house, her stomach dropped. The mob was camped out in front of her own property.
"Oh hell no!" she shouted, gripping the steering wheel tightly.
"What's the matter?" Yachty's concerned voice came through the speakers.
"I'll call you back," Rorie said tersely, ending the call.
Police officers were struggling to keep the paparazzi at bay. As soon as they spotted Rorie's car, the crowd surged forward, shouting questions and snapping photos.
"Rorie! How do you feel about The Sun's article on your mother's affair?" "Did you know about your father before this?" "What's your reaction to your father wanting a relationship?"
The cacophony was overwhelming. Rorie kept her eyes straight ahead as the police cleared a path for her to reach her garage. She parked quickly and practically ran into the house, her heart pounding.
She found Yael, Penni, and Lewis deep in conversation in the living room. They all looked up as she entered, their faces grim.
"What's going on?" Rorie demanded, her voice shaky.
Yael stepped forward. "Did you see my texts?"
"No," Rorie replied, looking to Lewis. "What's happening?"
Lewis sighed heavily before speaking. "The Sun published an article about your biological father."
Rorie shrugged, trying to appear nonchalant. "So what? I don't care if they know who he is. He was never part of my life anyway."
The others exchanged uneasy glances, which didn't escape Rorie's notice.
"What?" she pressed. "Why is it such a big deal?"
Lewis took a deep breath. "Your biological father… he did an interview with Piers Morgan. He's claiming your mother kept you away from him, and now he wants a relationship with you."
"That's bullshit!" Rorie exploded.
Yael jumped in. "That might be true, but the public doesn't know that. Worse, his wife was in the interview too. She said they were separated when he had the affair with your mom, and now she wants to meet you and Lyric. They're portraying themselves as victims and… well, they're putting all the blame on your mother."
Rorie felt like she'd been punched in the gut. "Has anyone talked to my mom?"
"We all have," Lewis said softly. "I just got off the phone with her before you arrived."
Rorie reached for her phone. "I need to call her."
Yael and Penni stepped forward, gently restraining her. "Wait," Penni said. "We're putting together a statement with evidence to counter their claims."
"We're also preparing another cease and desist letter for The Sun," Yael added. "And we're working on getting a gag order for your father and his family."
"My father," Rorie spat the word like it was poison, laughing bitterly. "And now he wants to play daddy? After all these years?"
Deemed the Black Bill Gates, Martin Edwards III is a real estate magnate and investor who cared only for himself. He never loved her mother - she was just a poor maid who got caught up in his web of lies. Of course, her mother should've never gotten involved with a married man, but Martin failed to claim Rorie as one of his children. He even had the gall to demand her mother get an abortion.
The room fell silent, the weight of the situation hanging heavily in the air. Rorie felt a mix of anger, confusion, and hurt swirling inside her. She'd spent her whole life not caring about her poor excuse of a sperm donor, and now he was threatening to upend everything.
"What do we do now?" she asked, her voice small and uncertain.
Lewis wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close. "We fight back, babe. We protect our family and we tell our truth. That's all we can do."
Rorie nodded against his chest, drawing strength from his embrace. Whatever storm was coming, she knew she had her real family – the ones who'd always been there – by her side. And that, she realized, was worth more than any long-lost father's claims could ever be.

The oppressive Texas heat shimmered off the tarmac as Lewis Hamilton's sleek Mercedes-AMG pulled into the Circuit of the Americas. The sprawling track, with its iconic observation tower in the distance, buzzed with the frenetic energy of Formula 1 media day. Pit crews scurried about, the air filled with the cacophony of revving engines and the chatter of eager fans and journalists.
Lewis took a deep breath, steeling himself for the day ahead. He glanced in the rearview mirror, catching sight of Lyric's cherubic face in the car seat behind him. The toddler was blissfully unaware of the chaos around their family, his tiny fingers playing with a toy race car.
As Lewis opened the car door, the wall of heat hit him in full force. He rounded the vehicle, opening the back door to unbuckle Lyric from his car seat. "Come on, little man," he murmured, lifting his son and perching him securely on his hip. Lewis hiked the diaper bag higher on his other shoulder, adjusting his designer sunglasses as he surveyed the paddock area.
His bodyguard moved ahead, creating a path through the throng of people. "Some space, please," the guard requested firmly but politely. Fans pressed forward, waving items for autographs, while photographers' cameras clicked in rapid succession.
Lewis approached the paddock entrance, shifting Lyric slightly to free up a hand. He fished out his ID card, swiping it through the turnstile with practiced ease. The familiar beep and click signaled his official arrival for the day.
As he made his way through the paddock to the Mercedes garage, Lewis nodded to his crew members, his mind racing with thoughts of Rorie. She'd been so sick lately – more than just the usual pre-performance jitters. The constant nausea, her heightened sense of smell, the fatigue that seemed to cling to her... All signs pointed to pregnancy, but Rorie steadfastly refused to take a test. Lewis understood her hesitation, remembering the heartache they'd endured before Lyric, but he couldn't help the glimmer of hope that sparked in his chest. The upcoming Austin City Limits festival loomed large in his mind. Despite everything, Rorie was still determined to perform. He felt a surge of pride thinking about her resilience, her talent; and wanted nothing more than to see her conquer the world stage, to watch her dreams unfold even as they navigated this storm together.
His phone buzzed with a notification - the flowers he'd sent to Rorie's mother had been delivered. A small gesture, but one he hoped would bring some comfort. The media circus surrounding Rorie's biological father had been relentless. He'd done everything he could to shield his family – hiring additional security, considering legal action against some of the more aggressive paparazzi, and even arranging for Rorie's mother, stepfather, and sister to be relocated temporarily to their home in Denver.
Lewis's jaw set with determination. The Sun's underhanded tactics, and the sudden appearance of Rorie's biological father - it all fueled a fire within him. He was committed to bringing down the tabloid, to make them pay for the pain they'd caused his family. The lawsuit proceedings were set to begin next month, and Lewis was ready for battle. The support from their friends had been overwhelming. Just that morning, he'd received messages of encouragement from the Biebers, Beyoncé and Jay-Z, and Rihanna. Their united front against the media onslaught was a testament to the bonds they'd forged over the years.
Lewis spotted Nina, their nanny, making her way through the garage. He felt a mix of relief and reluctance as he prepared to hand Lyric over. Part of him wanted to keep his son close, a tangible reminder of what truly mattered amidst the craziness of race day and ongoing personal drama.
"Lewis," Rosa approached. "The press conference is in ten minutes."
Lewis nodded, giving Lyric a final squeeze before passing him to Nina. "Be good for Nina, okay?" he murmured, pressing a kiss to his son's forehead.
Lewis made his way towards the press conference area, his mind racing with thoughts of Rorie and the impending media onslaught. He knew the questions wouldn't just be about the upcoming race or his strategies for the circuit. The recent revelations about Rorie's biological father had become fodder for gossip columns and social media speculation.
As he walked, he nodded to a few fellow drivers - Valterri gave him a supportive pat on the back, while Charles offered a quiet "All's good?" Lewis appreciated their discretion and support, a stark contrast to the rabid curiosity of the waiting press.

Once the press conference was finished, which thankfully focused more on the upcoming race than personal matters, Lewis found himself surrounded by his fellow drivers.
"Hey, Lewis," Pierre called out, a grin on his face. "Is it true Rorie's performing at Austin City Limits tonight?"
Lewis nodded, a hint of pride in his voice. "Yeah, she is. You guys planning to come?"
"Wouldn't miss it," Pierre replied enthusiastically. Several other drivers chimed in with their interest as well.
Lewis spent the next hour with Lyric, cherishing the quiet moments with his son, and when he was about to head to get lunch, Toto approached.
"Lewis, can you come to my office for a moment?" Toto's expression was unreadable.
Handing Lyric back to Nina and Rosa, Lewis followed Toto, an uneasy feeling settling in his stomach. As they entered the office, Lewis froze. Sitting there, looking far too comfortable, was Martin Edwards - Rorie's biological father.
Lewis's jaw clenched. "What the fuck is he doing here?"
Toto held up his hands. "He requested to speak with you. I thought it best to provide a neutral and private space."
Reluctantly, Lewis took a seat across from Martin, his posture rigid.
Martin leaned forward, a smile plastered on his face. "That boy of yours, Lyric - he's the spitting image of you. That's really your seed. Can't deny that baby even if you wanted to," he chuckled as if he'd said something hilarious.
Lewis remained stoic, his eyebrows furrowed and lips pursed. "What do you want, Martin? Haven't you fucked up enough?"
Martin's smile faded slightly. "I want to make things right. I've missed out on so much of Aurora's life—"
"Rorie," Lewis corrected sharply. "She goes by Rorie."
Martin nodded, continuing, "Rorie, then. I want to be a part of her life, of my grandson's life."
Lewis's voice was low and controlled. "You had years to be a part of Rorie's life. You chose not to be. And now, what? You think you can just waltz in because it's convenient for you?"
"I made mistakes," Martin admitted. "But I want to fix them. Surely you can understand that, as a father yourself?"
Lewis felt a surge of anger. "As a father, I understand being there for your child, no matter what. Something you know nothing about."
The tension in the room was palpable. Toto shifted uncomfortably, clearly regretting his decision to facilitate this meeting.
"Look," Martin said, his tone changing to one of barely concealed frustration, "I have rights. I'm her father—"
"No," Lewis cut him off, standing up. "You're the man who contributed DNA. I'm her family. We're her family. And we'll do whatever it takes to protect her and Lyric from this circus you've created."
With that, Lewis turned to leave. As he reached the door, he paused, looking back at Martin. "If you really care about Rorie, you'll respect her wishes. And right now, she doesn't want anything to do with you."
Leaving Martin and a stunned Toto behind, Lewis strode out of the office, his mind already racing with plans to further shield his family from whatever Martin Edwards seemed determined to bring.
That motherfucker had another thing coming if he thought he was getting close to my family. Nigga going to end up meeting nothing more than the barrel of my gun if he keeps fucking around.
For the rest of the day, Lewis shifted his focus away from what occurred in Toto's office, ultimately deciding against mentioning the impromptu meeting with Martin. Rorie was already stressed for a myriad of reasons, and Lewis would be damned if he brought more bad news to her. His wife needed to focus on her performance - nothing more, nothing less. He'd handle everything else.
That was what a husband and father did - properly lead his family and protect them, which wasn't something Martin knew anything about. An intrusive thought wondered how Martin could just weasel his way into speaking with Toto and demanding a meeting with him, but then Lewis remembered how having obscene amounts of money could always provide access to certain people.
His phone rang and Rorie's smiling face lit up the screen.
"Hey, babe," he answered.
"Hey," Rorie replied. There was a pause before she continued, "Is everything okay? You sound... off."
Lewis hesitated for a moment before responding, "Just race stuff, you know how it is. Nothing to worry about."
"Mm-hmm," Rorie hummed, not entirely convinced. "Can you bring home something sweet and salty when you're done?"
Lewis let out a laugh, the tension from earlier melting away.
"What's so funny?" Rorie asked, a hint of defensiveness in her voice.
"Nothing, nothing," Lewis chuckled. "It's just... the last time you asked for this exact combination, you were pregnant with Lyric. Still in denial, are we?"
Rorie huffed. "I just want that, okay? Don't make it a big deal."
"Alright, alright," Lewis conceded, grinning. "I'll bring something back for you. And you know what? I'll grab a pregnancy test too, so we can stop fucking around and know for sure."
"Whatever," Rorie grumbled, but Lewis could hear the smile in her voice.
"Love you too, babe," Lewis said, his tone softening. "I'll see you soon."
As the call ended, Lewis pocketed his phone, a mix of emotions swirling within him. The day's events - from the press conference to the unexpected encounter with Martin - seemed to fade into the background. What mattered now was Rorie, their family, and the possibilities that lay ahead.
Lewis glanced at his watch, mentally calculating how long it would take to wrap up his duties at the track, find Rorie's requested snacks, and make it back to the hotel. He had a pregnant wife to take care of - whether she was ready to admit it or not.
Tumblr media
As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow over Zilker Park, Rorie stood backstage at Austin City Limits, her heart racing. The air was thick with anticipation, the distant roar of the crowd washing over her like waves. Lil Yachty's energetic performance was coming to a close, his last song echoing through the night.
Rorie closed her eyes, taking deep breaths to calm her churning stomach. She'd barely kept down her dinner, a combination of nerves and what she stubbornly refused to acknowledge might be morning sickness. The thought of pregnancy flitted through her mind again, reminding her that she had a test to take after the show, but she pushed it aside.
Focus, she told herself. The show comes first.
She silently thanked the universe for the unwavering support of her husband, friends, and family. Their love had been her anchor in the stormy seas of recent events.
The crowd's cheers swelled as Lil Yachty addressed them, his voice booming through the speakers. "Y'all ready for something special?" The response was deafening. "DJ, hit it!"
The opening beats of "The Zone" began to pulse through the air. Lil Yachty started his verse, the crowd singing along. Then, he paused, his voice filled with excitement. "Now, give a warm Austin welcome to the one, the only… Rorie!"
Taking a final deep breath, Rorie stepped out from behind the curtain. The sea of faces before her erupted in screams and applause. The energy was electric, palpable.
As she began to sing, her rich voice filling the night air, Rorie's eyes scanned the crowd. In the VIP section, she immediately spotted Lewis, his proud smile visible even from a distance. Beside him were Yael, Pierre, Charles, Valtteri, and Susie, all cheering her on.
"I never meant to make you feel alone," she sang, her voice carrying emotion with every word. "A non-chivalrous tone you've used since I got home. I feel wrong, deep down inside, I'm stoned. I feel cold and alone."
The lyrics seemed to take on a new meaning, reflecting the turmoil of recent weeks. But as she continued, Rorie felt a surge of strength.
"But now I know that you love me (Love me). Will you put anyone above me? Let me know, is this home?"
As she sang the last line, her eyes locked with Lewis's. In that moment, despite the thousands of people surrounding them, it felt like they were the only two people in the world. This was home, she realized. Not a place, but the people who stood by her through everything.
The music swelled, and Rorie threw herself fully into the performance, letting the rhythm and the energy of the crowd wash away her worries, if only for this magical moment under the Austin stars.
As the last notes of "The Zone" faded, the crowd's enthusiasm remained at fever pitch. Lil Yachty engaged with the audience, asking if they wanted to hear more. The resounding cheers and screams made the answer clear.
Rorie glanced back at the VIP section, catching Lewis's eye as he recorded the entire performance on his phone. The crowd began chanting her name, the sound washing over her in waves of adoration and support. Overwhelmed with emotion, Rorie felt tears prick at her eyes.
"You hearing this, Ror? They love you!" he shouted over the noise.
Rorie nodded, visibly moved. "This is incredible," she managed to say.
Lil Yachty addressed the audience. "Y'all want more from Rorie?" The answering roar was deafening. "Alright, alright!" Lil Yachty laughed. "Let's give them what they want, big sis!"
The opening chords of "Running Out of Time" began to play, eliciting another round of cheers from the audience. Rorie and Lil Yachty's voices blended beautifully, the lyrics touching on themes of time, connection, and staying together. The audience swayed and sang along, clearly familiar with the song.
When the performance ended, Rorie took a deep bow, her heart pounding with adrenaline and emotion. She lingered for a moment offstage, basking in the continued chants of her name from the adoring crowd.
Later, as she relaxed with Lewis and their group, enjoying the rest of the festival, everyone showered her with hugs and praise.
"That was incredible, Rorie!" Pierre exclaimed, giving her a warm hug.
Lewis pulled her close, kissing her with an intensity that made their friends playfully protest.
"Get a room, you two!" Charles laughed, shaking his head.
Lewis grinned, his eyes never leaving Rorie's face. "I'm just incredibly proud of my wife," he said, his voice full of love and admiration.

As the night wound down, Lewis and Rorie found themselves in the back of a car, heading back to their hotel. Lewis's hand rested on Rorie's thigh, his brown eyes fixed on her face.
"What?" Rorie asked, noticing his intense gaze. "Why are you staring at me like that?"
"Because I love you, baby," Lewis replied softly. "I love you so much."
Rorie smiled, her heart swelling. "I love you too, Pookie."
Lewis leaned in closer, his voice low. "And knowing that you might be carrying another seed…fuck Rorie, you don't even know what's in store when we get back."
Rorie giggled at his enthusiasm. He could be such a dirty freak at times. "Lewis, we don't know if I'm—"
"You are," he interrupted gently. "I can smell it."
"Oh? And what does that smell like, Lewis?"
His eyes sparkled with mischief and love. "Smells like a woman strengthening my bloodline."
"Goodness, you sound like such a caveman," she teased, but his words only heightened her arousal.
"But you like that shit," he murmured, pulling her closer for a deep, loving kiss.
And do.
Lewis wasted no time in carrying Rorie inside the bedroom once they arrived at their hotel. He set her down on the bed and began undressing her slowly, taking in every inch of her body.
His lips trailed down her neck and onto her chest, Rorie let out a soft moan and arched into him, craving more of his touch. He knew every sensitive spot on her body, and it drove her wild with desire. Lewis moved lower, planting kisses on her stomach until he reached the apex of her thighs. His hands firmly held onto her hips as he teased her with delicate licks and flicks of his tongue.
Rorie's breath hitched as she felt herself becoming wetter with each passing moment. She reached down to tangle her fingers in Lewis's braids, urging him on. "Oooh baby, don't stop."
With a wicked gleam in his eye, Lewis obliged and began sucking on Rorie's clit, sending waves of pleasure through her entire body. Her moans grew louder as she neared climax, and she couldn't hold back any longer.
"Fuck!" Lewis’s tongue soon brought Rorie to an explosive orgasm that left her panting and trembling beneath him.
"Mmm, you taste so good," he murmured.
Rorie came down from her high, and Lewis crawled up her body to kiss her deeply. She could taste herself on his lips, and it only turned her on even more.
"I want you inside me," she whispered against his lips.
Lewis groaned and quickly positioned himself between her legs. Rorie wrapped her legs around his waist, pulling him closer as he slid into her in one smooth thrust.
They moved together in perfect rhythm. It wasn't just about the physical pleasure for them; it was about the deep connection they shared. With each movement, they were both expressing their love and desire for each other.
Rorie ran her hands over Lewis's back, feeling the muscles flex beneath her touch. She loved how strong and powerful he was, yet how gentle and attentive he could be with her.
Their lovemaking became more intense as they both approached their release. Rorie cried out Lewis's name as she came once again, and he followed soon after with a deep grunt of satisfaction.
They collapsed onto the bed in a tangled mess of limbs and sweaty skin. Lewis rolled onto his side to face Rorie, pulling her close to him. As they cuddled in each other's arms, Rorie couldn't help but think about the possibility of being pregnant again. She knew Lewis would be overjoyed at the news, but she couldn't shake off the slight fear and anxiety that crept into her mind.
"Are you okay?" Lewis asked softly, sensing something was bothering her.
"I…I'm just thinking about what might happen if I am pregnant," Rorie admitted hesitantly.
Lewis's expression softened as he cupped her face in his hands. "Hey, whatever happens, we'll handle it together. We've been through so much already and have come out stronger."
Rorie's heart swelled with love for this man who always knew exactly what to say to comfort her. "I know…I just don't want to disappoint you if I'm not pregnant."
Lewis shook his head and pressed a gentle kiss on Rorie's forehead. "You could never disappoint me, baby. Our love is so much more than having another child."
She wrapped her arms around him tightly, feeling grateful for their love. "We should just take the test," she said firmly.
"You're sure?"
"Yeah, let's just get it over with." Rorie stood up abruptly and walked to the bathroom. The pregnancy test was sitting on the counter, and with trembling hands, she unwrapped it and followed the instructions carefully.
She then nervously paced around the bathroom as Lewis watched intently, waiting anxiously for the results. As the timer beeped, Rorie's heart raced in anticipation. She closed her eyes and prayed for a positive result.
Slowly opening her eyes, she looked down at the test and saw two distinct lines. A wave of emotions washed over her as she realized that she was indeed pregnant.
Tears of joy streamed down Rorie's face as she stepped out of the bathroom to show Lewis. He immediately wrapped her in his arms, knowing without words what the result was.
"We're going to have another baby," he whispered, his voice filled with awe and happiness.
Rorie nodded, unable to speak through her tears. They held each other in silence for a few moments before Lewis pulled back to look at Rorie's face.
"Are you okay?" he asked, wiping away her tears with his thumb.
"I'm just so happy," she managed to say before kissing him passionately.

The California sun hung low in the sky as the woman drove toward a discreet restaurant nestled off the Malibu coast. The sleek, modern lines of the Hamilton's mansion were barely visible from the road, obscured by sprawling trees and winding driveways. The ocean’s rhythmic crash played in the background, but all that resonated in the woman’s mind was the bitter truth she clutched like a weapon.
The restaurant’s parking lot was mostly empty, save for a lone car parked in a shadowed corner. The woman’s heeled boots crunched over loose gravel as she approached. The maid, nondescript and dressed in plain clothes, glanced up from where she leaned against the car’s door. Her eyes were wary, darting around as though expecting to see someone lurking.
"You’re late," the maid muttered, shifting nervously.
"Traffic," the woman replied, dismissively. "Do you have what I need?"
The maid hesitated before producing a small USB drive. She handed it over with trembling fingers. "I can’t be seen doing this. If Rorie finds out…"
"She won’t," the woman interjected sharply. "You just keep your head down and play your role. If she suspects anything, you’re done. But right now, I’m your best bet for protection."
The maid swallowed hard, clearly torn. "Why are you even doing this? Rorie has been good to me...she treats my kids like her own."
The woman’s expression darkened. "You think kindness and loyalty matter to people like her? She uses them as currency to keep you close until you’re no longer valuable. Believe me, I know better than anyone. And if you want any fucking help getting your husband to Los Angeles, you shut your goddamn mouth, okay?"
Silence fell between them as the reality of their situation settled in. Eventually, the maid nodded, wiping her palms nervously against her jeans. "Okay, but be careful. This game you’re playing—people get hurt."
The woman tucked the USB into her jacket pocket and turned on her heel. "People always get hurt. It’s just a question of who gets hurt first."
As she walked away, the wind picked up, rustling through the palm trees and carrying the distant hum of approaching cars. The maid stayed put, watching the woman disappear into her car before driving off like a bat out of hell.

i feel like i am less important than other ppl. oe that i dont matter , inferior something like that :(
Hii doll!! Tysm for asking me this 💗
Let’s Talk Self Worth!!
Tumblr media
”I just take a book with me everywhere. It’s a habit.” - Rory Gilmore
Tumblr media
Why do you feel this way? Well, the root cause is most likely your surroundings. Those around you, social media, and maybe yourself? Maybe others make you feel unimportant? Maybe social media is telling you others are more important? Or maybe your just always judging yourself? If not, take a moment to think of when you started to feel this way. Then, why you started to feel this way. You can journal this in a notebook or your notes app. Now, describe the wave of emotions you get when feeling this way. Let it all out, it’s ok. Lastly, think of how you can heal from this!
2. Mentality!! Let’s say you get bullied, harsh things are said to you I would believe. The people bullying or saying mean things to you, say you’re “unimportant.” Then those words go to your mind and you start to believe them. Next thing you know more negative words are said. So, your brain continues to believe them as if their affirmations. Your brain now doesn’t even have a say in what you think about yourself. Why? Well, because now you only live by your bullies words. What your bully thinks of you, is how you think of yourself. Now, do you really want to live your life like that? I would hope the answer is no. Ok, so you need to work on becoming secure in yourself. So secure in yourself that when someone says something about you. Guess what, YOU DON’T CARE. You need to start living by your words (and Jesus’s) instead. For example, you like your hair and someone else doesn’t? So what! You go rock that hair of yours cause you like it!!!
3. Stop Comparing Yourself!! Not everything you see and hear is real. Not everyone tells the truth. Plus, what’s the point in comparing yourself to someone your whole life? There is none. What there is, is your older self disappointed thinking back to you now. Not only your older self, your younger self too. They wouldn’t want to see you comparing yourself. I would hope, your present self doesn’t want to be comparing yourself too. In my opinion, comparing yourself is a waste of youth. You spend your whole day, week, month, year, life wasting youth. It’s pointless because it really doesn’t get you anywhere. It just continues to make you more insecure. Therefore, remove what you can that makes you compare yourself. A little example would be deleting social media! If you can remove it from your life, do it.
4. Stop Punishing Yourself!! In other words, stop being so hard on yourself. Just because you got a bad grade isn’t an excuse. Just because you did something “embarrassing” isn’t an excuse. In fact, there is no excuse for punishing yourself. Be nice to yourself instead. You deserve so so sooo much love from yourself. For that reason, give all of that love to yourself. Leave that mistake in the past. Learn to embrace your mistake too. It’s ok, you’ll be ok.
5. You’re Only Human!! If there is one thing I want you to remember from this blog. It’s that you are only human. You can’t be “perfect” and you can’t be happy all the time. Your feelings and struggles are important. We all deal with a bunch of things everyday. It’s in our nature to feel this way at times. Maybe you feel this way more than others, and thats ok. You are only human. Maybe you act different than others, and thats ok. You are only human. Maybe you hate your life, and thats ok. You’re only human. Maybe you can’t do things others can, and thats ok. You’re only human. Maybe you struggle with healing, and thats ok. You are only human. You are only human, imperfectly perfect. You can really only choose to love yourself and have fun. Oh, and remember that you’re only human.
Love you so much dolls!! Remember God loves you and stay pretty 💋🎀

Lydia's Guilt
Hi hello so I made a post a little while back talking about how the ending to the wedding scene is Lydia's manifestation of her guilt and her coming to terms with what she's lost.
This is all my opinion and my wild theories so! LETS GO
Firstly, lets talk about the wedding scene. Coming into it Lydia says "Rory loves me, that's gotta be enough" Lydia doesn't truly love Rory, just like Rory doesn't love her - Rory is using her and Lydia is allowing it to happen because she is being manipulated and she feels like she isn't going to get anyone in her life who truly understands her so it has to be enough she knows it won't ever be what she is looking for in life but she's given up at this point on finding her own happiness and resigned for "just enough"
Secondly, Rory has no respect for Lydia. It's shown extremely clearly in this scene as he breaks his promise to her about a "small" wedding, he has no respect for her wishes, just her fame. He wants her fame, he wants the attention she gets.
Thirdly, and here's where my beetlebabes heart SOARS. Lydia knows that Beej won't hurt her. There are so many subtle hints towards this, after Rory admits the truth - her first instinct is to move CLOSER to Beej, he is a safety net that she finds herself drawn to. He showed her the truth because he wanted her to make her own choices.
Tumblr media
He knows what she needs in the moment & He respects her. Lydia is used to having her own emotions brushed off by Rory, she's used to being ignored and to tuck it all away for the show - Betelgeuse allows her to feel. Instead of invalidating her anger, her gives her an outlet for it in his own way, something that works for them both, he gets to have fun - she gets to let her anger out.
To add to this: he respects her. He banishes everyone in the church, whether he knew that Lydia would want something small or not, he still manages to get her the quiet wedding she was talking about. They just understand each other in a way Lydia's never had before.
Tumblr media
HE IS IN LOVE WITH HER. every time he looks at her it's with adoration and love. He loves her. and this is something that HE didn't expect, he didn't expect to fall in love with Lydia but he did and now he knows he can't let that go. He continues to wait and wait and wait for her, he never pushes himself onto her - he just waits for her and that's enough for him. He will wait for centuries for her and he knows this.
Which brings me on to my next point of...
Tumblr media
Lydia realises he truly loves her during this scene. All the times before, she had assumed that it was all for show, just like her relationship with Rory - she assumes that no one could ACTUALLY love her but during this scene is when she realises. She realises he truly does actually love her but that she won't be able to have this, she knows that Delia and Astrid will not understand, she knows that by the end she will have to banish him. She argues with her own thoughts because in front of her in a man willing to give her the life she wants and she isn't allowed it.
Tumblr media
Beej has a similar realisation. He isn't stupid, he knew bringing Lydia into the afterlife was a violation - you can't prove me wrong that he didn't know. HE DID. he did it because he knew Lydia wouldn't understand that he just wanted to help her with no strings attached, this was his way of doing it. But he did also want to marry Lydia because he does love her. His realisation was that he lost her again, that it was over and he was going to be alone again.
WHICH BRINGS ME TO MY FINAL POINT
Tumblr media
Lydia feels guilty for banishing him. THIS expression stuck with me throughout all my rewatches of this film. She looks resigned, she knew it had to be this way. She knew she had to banish him even if she'd realised that he loved her for HER in a way no one else has before.
Tumblr media
She holds this expression for a few seconds, its not a fleeting moment. She truly is resigned. She only smiles again once Delia touches her and brings her back to the present.
Tumblr media
SHE STILL DREAMS OF HIM. We don't know how long this scene is after the wedding scene but she still thinks of him, she still feels guilty. The guilt clearly keeps her up at night and MAYBE she misses him, realising that no one else will understand why she thinks of him still. No one will understand, just like no one would've understood if she hadn't banished him.
ANYWAY thats my long ass post, I've wanted to analyse the small emotions in these scenes for so long, and as said above - its all my thoughts! I'm a silly shipper so maybe I'm looking too into it I just love them

I FEEL YOUR COMPLIMENTS LIKE BULLETS ON SKIN. | JACK HUGHES
au masterlist
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Jack had always made sure to compliment how good you were at being a mother. How great you were with the kids, how gracefully you handled each problem when it arose. That was just who Jack Hughes was. He was a charmer, always having a way with his words.
You never hated Jack Hughes more than you had at this moment. Your second and youngest baby, Daisy Hughes, was currently celebrating away her first birthday, her chubby hands clapping together excitedly, not aware that her mother, you, was going through an emotional turmoil.
Your first baby, however, was extremely smart for his age. So caring and thoughtful.
“You ‘kay mama?” He wasn’t able to speak proper sentences yet, only being 2, but he had the idea down.
“I’m okay bubba, thank you for asking.” You picked him up, giving him a kiss on the cheek to which he returned one to yours, sloppy but so full of love that it reminded you of Jack.
In fact, Olivier reminded you so much of Jack. He was practically your husband’s carbon copy, your genes having not put up a single fight.
“Daisy fussin’ mama,” Olivier presses his small hands against your cheek, making you turn to look at his baby sister.
“She’s probably just hungry,” you reassure him, placing him down gently before opening the fridge to get milk. “Aren’t you Daisy bear?”
Your baby talk makes your daughter babble something happily back, smiling ear to ear. She was adorable, your mini copy.
An hour later, most of your family members, including Jack’s parents and Quinn had came over to the house, all holding mini gift bags that said Happy Birthday!
Olivier had practically ran over Ellen, who smothered the boy in kisses before doing the same to Daisy who was currently sitting in her high chair.
“Oh my! She’s grown so big,” Ellen says admiringly, “she looks so much like you Rory.”
“Thank you mama,” you say, holding onto Ellen’s hand for a while before taking out the cake you had bought yesterday from the fridge. It was mini sized, perfect for Daisy who’s eyes lit up at the sight of it.
“Jack’s busy tonight?” Quinn whispers after your baby is done blowing out her cake.
“Yeah, him and Luke are away.” You try to hide your disappointment, but Quinn can clearly see it. He knows you like the back of his hand at this point, you were his sister in law.
“Has he called at least?”
You sigh, shaking your head. You knew Jack loved Daisy, you knew he loved both of your kids with all his heart, but it was still upsetting to know that he would be missing Daisy’s first milestone.
“Well don’t worry about it too much Rory, I’m sure he’ll call by tonight. That’s his Daisy girl after all, he wouldn’t miss seeing you two over FaceTime.”
You nod, giving Quinn a quick hug before waving goodbye to all your family members. Now, it was just you and your two kids, like it had been for the past 2 weeks.
You missed Jack with all your heart, wanting to do this entire parenting thing with him. It wasn’t like he didn’t want to be here with you guys, it was just that he couldn’t. But it didn’t make that any less painful.
“Hey.” The sound of Jack makes both of your kids’ ears perk up, Daisy blabbing happily as Olivier ran out from his room.
“Dada!” Ollie takes a seat right next to Daisy, who was currently on your lap.
“My Ollie boy!” Jack’s smile grows wide, watching as Olivier fidgets around in happiness. “How was Daisy’s birthday baby? Did you guys have fun?”
“So much fun!” Olivier opens his arms wide, as if he was trying to express how much fun he had with the length of his arm. “I had this much fun!”
“Oh really,” Jack laughs. “I bet you did. Did you give mama a hard time?”
“Nah uh!” Olivier shakes his head, getting up and personal to the camera. “Daisy was fussin’ earlier dada, but mama took care of her.”
“I’m glad.” Jack then turns his attention to you on the screen. “Hi Rory sweetheart.”
“Hi,” you say. You want to sound happy, you do, but not having Jack by your side really took a toll on your emotions.
“You okay?”
“I just wish you were here Jacky.”
Jack sighs, turning on his hotel room lamp. “I know baby, I wish I was too. I really miss you guys.”
“It doesn’t seem like it.”
Jack’s happy demeanor flatters. “What did you say?”
“Nothing Jack,”
He shakes his head. “No Rory. I heard you. What do you mean it doesn’t seem like it?”
“You barely called today Jack!” You say exasperated, “it’s your daughter’s first birthday, and you barely called. It’s 10pm right now, I should’ve put Daisy and Ollie to sleep an hour ago, but I was waiting on your phone call ‘cause I knew they’d wanted to see you. You know, their father, Jack.”
Jack rubs his face in annoyance, clearly not expecting such a reaction from you. “Well I’m sorry I was busy Rory. I would’ve called if I wasn’t, you know that right? I love you guys, you know this. I’m sorry I haven’t been there Ror, I know it’s hard on you. But you’re such a good mother, you’re doing so well with the kids, I’m proud of you.”
“You know what’s funny, J?” You laugh, a few tears coming to your eyes. “Your words are supposed to make me feel better. Your compliments are supposed to make me let go of all this tension. But they feel like bullets, Jack. I feel your compliments feel like bullets on skin.”
Jack doesn’t know what to say. He knew you would be upset he wouldn’t be able to make it to Daisy’s birthday, but he didn’t think you’d be this upset.
“I’ll talk to you in the morning, okay? We both just need to calm down.”
And before you could protest, Jack’s already hung up.
You swear quietly, covering your baby’s ear as you do so. You get up from your place on the couch, deciding to just call it a night and put Daisy to sleep.
“Are you asleep yet Ol?” You peek your head quietly into your son’s room after putting Daisy in her crib.
“No mama,” he says quietly back, little feet running to you. “Can I sleep with you tonight?”
“Of course you can sweetheart,” you carry Olivier on your hip, walking to your room and making sure your son gets comfortable under the sheets. “Mama is gonna do her skincare, you sleep first, okay baby?”
“Yes mama.”
That night, you can’t help but cry silently as you cuddled your son close to your chest. You knew you were being emotional, but you couldn’t help it. You missed Jack more than anything.
The next morning, you’re awoken by a kiss on the forehead.
“J?” You say groggily, making out your husband’s face as your vision becomes clearer. “J!”
You throw your arms around him, bringing him into a tight hug.
“Rory.” He replies back, pulling away to give you a long awaited kiss on the lips.
After pulling away, you can’t help but chase his lips, which make him chuckle quietly. He presses his head down to give a kiss on Olivier’s forehead.
“Daisy’s still asleep?” You ask, putting your arms around Jack’s shoulders. You missed feeling his touch so much.
“Sound asleep.” Jack smiles. “Looks exactly like her mama.”
You look down guilty, realizing what you had said to Jack yesterday. “I’m sorry about yesterday J. I was just really emotional about you missing Dais’s first birthday. It means a lot to me that you’re here for our babies milestones.”
“I know.” Jack says, pressing a kiss to the side of your head. “I’m here now, okay? I told them I had to be home with my wife and kids immediately after I hung up last night. I had to see you guys again, it was killing me too.”
You pull Jack into a hug once again, cherishing this intimate moment you were having with him. It felt so good to have him back in your arms again after a long 2 weeks.
You were too happy to remember to show him the news you had found out a few days ago.
The blue stick with two lines on it.

pumpkin patch adventures | buddy & monkey: double the trouble
summary: buddy and monkey take a trip to pick out pumpkins with a special guest appearance from @lvnleah Rory
double the trouble masterlist
Tumblr media
“Roar!” You’re currently sitting at the breakfast table while you’re eating your pancakes that you have for breakfast, although you are having much more fun dunking your dinosaur figurines in the sugary syrup than actually eating the pancakes yourself.
“Eat it nicely bubba,” Leah grimaces as she watches you coat your beloved dinosaur figurines in your breakfast.
“But Mummy, my Dinos’ want to share me ‘cakes though!” You insist, your eyes wide with excitement before proceeding to attempt to coat them in sugar again.
“Yeah? Well I think Mummy’s going to need to give your Dinos’ a wash at this rate,” Leah jokes, shaking her head as she tries to coax your toys out of your hand to salvage them.
“Sharings’ caring!” You declare proudly, puffing out your chest.
Leah snorts in amusement, “Oh? And who taught you that?”
“Monkey!” You exclaim while beaming a wide smile.
“Of course she did,” Leah murmurs, resisting the urge to roll her eyes as she stands up from her seat at the table to grab a cloth, “I know you want to share your pancakes with your dinosaurs, but sometimes, things like this aren’t meant to be shared, bubba. You don’t want them to be covered in syrup and be all sticky, do you?” She retorts in a gentle tone of voice.
“No,” You concede, pouting as you spare a glance at said dinosaurs which were already sticky, “Mummy, my dinos’ are sticky” You whine, the reality hitting you while not appreciating the stickiness of them now.
“That’s why Mummy told you to not dunk them, bubba,” Leah can’t help but bite her bottom lip to stifle her laughter, “And that’s why we have to keep them nice and clean, like Mr Bear, remember?” She reminds you, using the cloth to wipe your own sticky fingers before proceeding to clean the dinosaurs.
“But I wan’ share,” You pout in disappointment, not quite understanding the whole concept of it.
“You can share, just not with your dinosaurs,” Leah retorts, playfully poking your nose once she had finished wiping off the syrup, “There we go, all better. No more dunking them now, little miss or they’ll get sticky again.”
“You got it dude,” You tell her, sticking your thumb up in agreement, “Mummy? Whens’ Auntie Wally comin’?”
“She’s on her way now, bubba,” Leah tells you as she disregards the cloth into the washing up bowl, “We’re waiting for her, then we’re going to be meeting Auntie Stephy, Auntie Beffy and Roo. Do you remember where we’re going today?”
You nod enthusiastically, “To the pumpkin farm!”
“That’s right,” Leah replies in agreement as she helps you down from the table so you can get ready for the trip out today, “We’re going to pick out pumpkins so you and Rory can carve them like you did last year with Monkey, remember?” She reminds you as the two of you head upstairs.
“Yeah! I gots’ to make it scary last year!” You exclaim, remembering the way that Monkey drew a scary face on the pumpkin, but the best bit was the gunk in the pumpkin that you loved pulling out, “Monkey didn’ like the gunk though!”
“No she didn’t, did she?” Leah chuckles in amusement as you enter your bedroom, “What do you want to wear today?”
“Can I wear my Rat costume?” You question, hopeful as you plonk yourself on the carpet in favour of playing with your toys instead of getting dressed.
“Oh I should have seen that coming,” Leah murmurs, speaking her thoughts aloud as she opens up the wardrobe in your bedroom, “Bubba, I don’t think it would be a great idea to wear that. How about you choose something else instead?” She suggests in a gentle tone of voice.
“Nuh uh. I wan’ wear me rat costume!” Your little voice insists while still playing with your toys on the carpeted rug that’s the shape of a rainbow.
It’s something that Leah and Jordan decided to have in your nursery before you were born, because apparently you’re a little rainbow baby, but that’s not something you’re all that sure what it exactly means, but you definitely get a lot of hugs and kisses all of the time.
You guess when you transferred to the big bed, it also came along as well although it doesn’t really fit in with the racecar bed that you have now.
Leah purses her lips, debating how this conversation was about to pan out, “Bubba, listen I know you want to wear your rat costume, but don’t you think it’ll be better to save it to wear on Halloween. You wouldn’t want your lovely tail to get covered in mud, would you?” She tries to coax you out of the idea and you don’t miss the sarcasm in her voice when saying certain words.
“No,” You pout at the thought of your Halloween costume being ruined by the mud at the pumpkin place you’re going to.
“Exactly,  so how about we choose something else?” Leah continues to suggest as she routes through your wardrobe, “Oh, here’s the hoodie that grandad brought you. What about this?”
You shake your head in disagreement, “Not red!”
“Of course not,” Leah mumbles as she exhales a sigh while remembering that you seem to be going through a phase right now of not wanting to wear anything that isn’t red, “But this colour is close to red, it’s orange, like the pumpkins that we’re going to pick out, yeah?”
“... Fine,” You huff in agreement like it’s such a tedious task to agree to it as you give her your usual sass that you seem to have now, “But red tomorrow, Mummy. Don’ forget!” You tell her, waggling your index finger in front of her face.
“I won’t forget bubba,” Leah has to bite her bottom and stifle her laughter, finding it hard to take her mini me so seriously as she tries to piece together the rest of your outfit without any further protest from you, “Right, let's get you dressed then, bubba.”
With a bit of protest of pulling you away from your toys that you were enjoying, you reluctantly get dressed into the outfit chosen much to your disagreement of it not being red like you want it to be.
“Mummy?” You speak up as Leah helps you thread your arms through the sleeves of the t-shirt before coaxing your new hoodie over your head.
“Yes, bubba?” Leah responds in a gentle tone of voice,
“When we goes’ to the farm will there be a park?” You wonder, curiously because the idea of a park sounds like a lot of fun right now.
“Well I’m not too sure about that one little miss but there might be,” Leah answers while moving to help you with your leggings, but that doesn’t solve all of your questions that you want to know.
“I like the park!” You insist with a beaming smile but that doesn’t last, “... Mummy?” You question again while Leah helps you with the tricky task of putting your socks on.
Leah chuckles in amusement, “Yes, bubba?” She asks, waiting for your next question.
“If there’s a park, will there be a swing… and a slide?” You ponder the thought of the park, you always love the swings and always ask to go higher and higher, “Mummy! Will there be a roundabout?”
“You’re certainly a little chatterbox today, aren’t you? You’re just full of all the questions!” Leah jokes, playfully tickling your sides as you let out a squeal of delight, “I’m not sure what there will be if there is a park, but we’ll see what it’s like when we get there.”
“The swings are fun!” You exclaim in delight, “And that’s cos’ I’m like ‘out! That what Mama says too!” You retort innocently.
Leah gasps in a playful manner, “Oh is that right?”
“Uh huh!” You nod promptly on your decision, “Yeah, and Nana says’ it as well… And Auntie Kei! She says’ we like to y… yap a lot,” You stumble over the word as you tell her.
“Oh you just wait until I see your auntie Kei,” Leah retorts in a joking manner, “Me and her will have words– Agh!”
Right in that minute, your favourite person doesn’t miss the opportunity to sneak up behind Leah and scare her half to death, “Boo! Ha, gotcha!” She exclaims, incredibly pleased with herself.
Leah spins around and playfully bats Monkey’s arm, “You menace,” She chides, recovering from her faint heart attack, “What’re you playin’ at jumping up behind me like that?”
“It was too good of an opportunity to not take it,” Monkey shrugs her shoulders carelessly, “I’m trying to get all the scares in. It’s only another 2 weeks until the big day!”
“So you decide to scare me… Now?” Leah clicks her tongue and shakes her head, less than impressed, “Don’t you have anything better to be doing? Wally will be here soon and you’re not even ready yet!”
“Well, duh!” Monkey remarks while rolling her eyes, “Chill out, I have plenty of time to get ready. What’s the rush?” She wonders.
“Plenty of time?” Leah repeats while scoffing in disagreement, “Monkey, any minute now Wally is going to arrive so we can go out. I told you to be ready an hour ago, what have you been doing this whole time?”
“Uh… TikToks’ addictive,” Monkey murmurs her response while grinning at the blonde who looks about ready to blow a fuse, “There’s a new trend I wanna try with Kyra!”
“Absolutely not, no way!” Leah’s already putting a stop to the idea of mayhem your favourite person plans to cause, considering the last TikTok video attempt made her ankle hurt even more.
“Monkey, ‘ou scared Mummy!” You exclaim while giggling and finding the whole thing funny to watch.
“That’s the best bit about Halloween, Buddy!” Monkey declares excitedly as she grins at you, “Being able to jump out and scare people– Oh, and the trick and treating of course. All the sweets you can eat!”
“Trick or Treat!” You repeat excitedly, bouncing up and down on the balls of your sock covered feet, “Trick or Treat!”
“Exactly, remember that’s just what you say when you walk up to someones’ house and knock on the door,” Monkey reminds you of the typical way to ‘Trick or Treat’ on Halloween, “It’s important you say them words!”
You nod efficiently, “Trick or Treat!” You exclaim once again.
“Yeah, good job!” Monkey holds her hand up to exchange a high-five with you, “You’re going to be a pro in no time, Buddy!” She tells you.
“Trick or Treat,” You continue to shout in excitement.
“You do realise that’s all she’s going to be saying now, huh?” Leah arches her eyebrow and shakes her head, “Bubba…”
“Trick or Treat!” You repeat once more, loud and proud.
Leah chuckles in amusement, “Case in point right there.”
“There’s worse things that she could say though,” Monkey retorts, shrugging her shoulders, “Think about it, she’s just gettin’ into the Halloween spirit, Le!”
“Right, of course,” Leah murmurs, rolling her eyes at your favourite persons’ silliness, “Do you think you can perhaps take your ‘Halloween spirit’ elsewhere, and while you’re at it, get dressed to go out? I don’t think it would look so good going out in your pyjamas now, would it?” She gestures Monkey out of the room in the direction of her own bedroom.
Monkey pouts in disagreement and slumps her shoulders, “Boo, you’re no fun!” She exclaims in a playful manner of tone, “See here Buddy, this is what we call a ‘Grinch’ but of course that’s more relatable to Christmas of course…”
“Grinch!” You repeat while giggling faintly at Monkey’s usual silliness.
“Go. Get ready,” Leah states while pointing her index finger in the direction of the door, “Now.”
Tumblr media
“Trick or Treat, Auntie Wally!” You shout aloud the minute that the front door is opened by Leah to reveal Lia on the other side, while holding onto your new trick or treat bucket, and of course you want to show her what you’ve been taught all about now, but you're disappointed with the lack of no sweets, “Why ‘ou no have sweeties?”
“You want sweeties?” Lia chuckles and doesn’t waste the time to scoop you up into her arms, “I think you're a few days too early yet, little miss.”
“That’s not the way you did it, Buddy,” Monkey laughs and shakes her head, “You’re supposed to say it when you go to other peoples’ houses, not ours, silly!” She retorts.
“But I want sweeties though,” You pout in disregard of not having any said sweeties, “Trick or Treat!” You hold your new bucket up in front of her while you’re still in her arms.
Monkey huffs and throws her hands up in the air, “Urgh, I give up!”
“Auntie Wally! We’re gon’ go to the farm,” You ramble excitedly to the woman while you’re still in her arms, “Go pick out pumpkins!”
“What? We’re not goin’ to the farm,” Monkey’s face pales at the news and shakes her head, “I’m not going anywhere where there’s chickens! Nuh uh, no thank you!”
Leah chuckles in amusement as ruffles your favourite person’s hair, “Relax, Menace. It’s a completely chicken free zone,” She tells her.
“Oh, really?” Monkey questions, choosing whether to believe her or not, “Cos’ you said that last time we went to a farm and I swear one of those buggers’ bit me finger!”
“There’ll be no chickens in sight,” Leah answers, really hoping that she’s right about it as she’s somewhat aware there is a petting zoo there.
“Oh, okay. Well in that case then, I guess I’ll go then… If you insist,” Monkey shrugs it off like she wasn’t so petrified just minutes ago, “So, we gonna go now then, or what?”
Leah and Lia laugh in amusement at Monkey antics, both of them knowing what she is like but right now you want to be the centre of attention for a change.
“Auntie Wally, look at my new trick or treat bucket that I got!” You try to shove it directly in her view to show it off.
Lia gasps in faux excitement “Oh I love it, Buddy! Did you get that the other day when you went shopping?”
“Uh huh, Mama brought it for me,” You nod promptly in agreement, “Ans’ we brought Monkey stickers to put on her crutches!”
“I saw them the other day and they are very cool,” Lia replies, listening intently to your chatter as she adjusts you in her grasp, “Does that mean you’re using them now, little one?”
“Meh,” Monkey retorts while shrugging her shoulders carelessly and puts her jacket on what she grabs off the coat rack by the front door.
“Well that was the hope, but I keep having to remind her still,” Leah chimes in as she grabs your denim jacket off the coat rack and coaxes your arms into it while you're still in Lia’s arms, “Right, are we ready to go?” She wonders.
“Can’t help that I forget sometimes when I have a memory like a civ,” Monkey murmurs while fixing the zip on her own jacket.
“Ready when you are,” Lia agrees to Leah’s question, settling you back down on the floor so you can walk out to the car on the driveway.
“Auntie Wally! Auntie Wally!” You squeal in excitement and walk out to the car on the driveway, “Mama brought me my costume as well. ‘Ou have to come and see it!”
“Someone’s excited for Halloween,” Lia says, peering down as you're still vibrating with excitement about the idea of it.
“Duh, she has to be,” Monkey chimes in as she hobbles out to the car, “It’s a great season!”
Lia chuckles in amusement as she turns to look at Leah, “Are we still stuck on the whole rat costume idea?”
“Unfortunately so,” Leah murmurs as she opens the back door of her car and helps you into your seat before buckling you in, “I’ve tried to persuade her differently, but I’m having no luck.”
“Even so, I think you make an adorable rat from the photos I’ve seen,” Lia says as she climbs into the passenger seat of Leah’s car.
“Me go’ be a rat for trick or treating!” You exclaim, throwing your hands up in the air in excitement.
“Buddy the rat,” Monkey snickers to herself as she slides in beside you in the back of the car.
“Oh, is that a new nickname?” Lia jokes, buckling her seatbelt in as she looks towards Leah with an amused expression on her face.
“No, definitely not,” Leah grumbles, shaking her head in disagreement as she climbs into the driver's seat before buckling herself in and starting the ignition on the car.
Tumblr media
“Mummy, I can’t wait to see Roo! Where’ she?” You’re full of chatter as you arrive at the pumpkin farm and you’re waiting in anticipation for Steph, Beth and your best friend, Rory, to join you.
“Don’t worry bubba. You’ll see her soon enough,” Leah assures you as she’s given the impossible task to fix the beanie over your head considering the amount you’re moving around so much right now, “Stand still so I can put your hat on please, bubba.” She says.
“Wan’ see Roo!” You whine impatiently, becoming more restless by every minute that passes and you can see your best friend, “Where they?”
“Oh look who I spot!” Lia motions to the three of them exiting Beth’s car as Rory holds onto Beth’s hand with all the busy cars around, as she spots you and attempts to run towards you.
“Roo!” You squeal aloud, your excitement becoming more tangible.
“Buddy!” Rory parrots your excitement, eager to reach you so you two can exchange a hug.
“I think we’ve been forgotten,” Steph jokes, not wasting any time to scoop you up with one arm and tickle you while not missing the opportunity to ruffle Monkey’s hair, “How’re my favourite pair of troublemakers doing?”
“Get off,” Monkey grumbles, trying to swat Steph’s hand away from her hair.
“Me no trouble, Auntie Stephy!” You pout at the older Australian women.
“Hm, I’m not too sure about that one now,” Steph jokes, continuing to tickle you before plonking you back down on the floor.
“Roo!” You shout aloud excitedly, embracing your best friend in a warm hug.
“Who’s ready to go and pick out some pumpkins?” Beth asks in an excited tone of voice.
“Me! Me!” You and Rory both shout at the same time.
“I wish you brought Kyra with you,” Monkey adds into the conversation with her shoulders slumped as you all start to walk through the entrance of the pumpkin patch, “Would be loads more fun then!”
“British menace and Aussie pest, I’m not so convinced myself,” Beth chips in as she finds amusement in the situation, “I think it’s bad enough on your own without your counterpart to cause trouble.”
“Party pooper,” Monkey murmurs, crossing her arms over her chest.
“Mummy! Mummy! Can we go and finds’ the pumpkins?” You tug on Leah’s sleeve to find out whether you can run off with your best friend.
“Go for it, bubba,” Leah encourages you to run ahead with Rory.
“Yeah! Mon’ Roo, lets’ go and find them!” Your voice is loud and energetic as you motion your best friend to follow you in the direction of the large pumpkins, “Race you there!”
“I don’t think I’ve seen them this excited before,” Lia retorts as she watches the two you run off squealing.
“I’m gonna chase you–” Monkey begins to speak.
“Ah ah, think again about that one Menace,” Leah interjects, giving Monkey a knowing look.
“Stupid dumb injury,” Monkey murmurs in displeasure.
“You only have yourself to blame, remember?” Leah chuckles, ruffling her hair.
“Chase me, Monkey!” You turn back round to shout at her.
“An me!” Roo adds in through fits of giggles.
“I wish I could kiddos, but I’m stuck for now,” Monkey tells you both while motioning to the boot that’s taken precedence on her foot currently.
“Mon’ Roo, we gots’ to find the pumpkins!” You tell your best friend.
“Lets’ go!” Rory shouts in agreement.
“Don’t run too fast  girls, we don’t want either of you to… Fall,” Leahs’ cut off from her own words as you trip and fall right there as you miss your step. The sudden jolt of shock causes you to let out an almighty wail.
“M… Mummy! My knee!” You cry aloud, clutching hold of your knee as your bottom lip trembles, “It… It hurts, Mummy!”
“Oh, bubba,” Leah’s rushing to your side and scooping you up into her arms within seconds, pressing a gentle kiss to your forehead while trying to calm you down, “You’re okay, you’re alright. It was just a bit of a shock, weren’t it, hm?”
“Owie, my knee hurts,” You whimper while tears still roll down your cheeks, “My knee! Mummy, it hurts!”
“You’re okay, bubba,” Leah coos, rubbing soothing circles on your back to try and ease your tears, “There’s no cut, see? There’s no blood, you’re fine, my brave bubba!” She exclaims.
“Uh huh,” You sob quietly still while in Leah’s arms.
“This is why we have to watch where we’re going now, remember? We don’t want to end up tripping and falling again, do we?” Leah reminds you in a gentle tone of voice.
“Wan’ to still go and find pumpkins with Roo,” You insist once you’re calm enough again and your tears are subdued.
“Alright, but remember to be careful this time, okay?” Leah reminds you cautiously, settling you back on your feet and adjusting your beanie back on your head properly, “Right, go run free, bubba!”
“Mon’ Roo!” You call after your best friend, running with her as you two are the first to reach the pumpkins, “We gots’ to find a big one!”
“Good luck with that mission, Buddy!” Monkey calls out to you, amusedly.
“But’s not ugly though. It has to be pretty, right, Mummy?” Rory turns to look at Beth for her confirmation.
“Of course, sweetheart,” Beth clarifies while nodding in agreement.
“Can pumpkins be pretty?” Steph furrows her eyebrows and whispers to the rest of the grown ups.
“I mean, I guess so,” Lia murmurs in confusion while shrugging her shoulders.
“Nuh uh, gots’ to find a big one so Monks’ can draw me a scary face on it!” You insist, looking round with wide eyes at the various different sizes of all the pumpkins in the patch.
“Well that sounds like an awesome idea,” Beth joins in on the conversation, “I think we’ll need some wheelbarrows, huh?” She wonders.
You shake your head in disagreement with that idea, “No, don’ need one of them. We carry them!” You declare.
“I don’t think so bubba, it’ll be too heavy,” Leah’s rational with her explanation as she grabs a wheelbarrow on hand, “We’ll pick them, put them in the wheelbarrow that we can carry back to the car instead, okay?”
“If we must,” You exhale a small huff in response, which makes Steph, Lia and Beth all chuckle.
“Where’s this ‘tude 'coming from all of a sudden?” Steph questions, poking your sides which causes you to let out laughter.
“Don’t ask, it’s a sudden thing apparently,” Leah murmurs while shaking her head, “Oh, and we also appear to be going through a phase of only wanting to wear red now.” She adds.
Beth snorts in amusement, “I see, and how’s that going for you?”
“I absolutely love having a sassy 3 year old,” Leah retorts as she resists the urge to roll her eyes, “I’m hoping it’s just a phase of that too, but knowing my luck, probably not.”
“It gets worse as they get older, Le, but you already know that one,” Beth tells Leah, patting her on the shoulder in reassurance.
“Hey, I didn’t do out this time,” Monkey cuts in, looking up from having her head buried in her phone.
“This time,” Lia murmurs in amusement and shakes her head.
“Mummy! Mummy!” You shout aloud in excitement, gaining the attention of all the grown ups, Look how big dis’ one is! It’s huge!”
Leah let out a short gasp, “Wow, that’s massive, isn’t it?”
“Ha, that’s what she said,” Monkey chimes in, earning her a quick smack around the back of her head, “Ow! What was that for?!”
“Uh huh, it’s huge!” You continue to insist, adamant that’s the pumpkin that you want to pick, “I wan’ this one, please!”
“Okay bubba, if that’s the one you want then you can have it,” Leah replies, wasting no time in lifting the pumpkin up and dumping it into the wheelbarrow, “Monkey, are you getting one this year?” She wonders.
“Meh, sure, I’ll take whatever looks good enough to carve,” Monkey responds, shrugging her shoulders as she gestures over to one that looks at least half decent, “But I’m not touching the gunk inside of it, it’s gross!”
“I’m sure one of us can scoop it out for you,” Lia jokes, rolling her eyes as she helps lift the pumpkin up and place it in the wheelbarrow.
“Did you find a good one, Roo?” Beth wonders, taking note of the pumpkin that Rory has found which is slightly smaller than your own.
Rory beams a massive smile on her face, “Yeah, this one is pretty!”
“Pretty’s a distinctive word to use right now,” Monkey murmurs, earning another nudge in the side from Leah who shoots her a look, “Seriously, again? Yeah it’s… uh, it’s very pretty Roo.”
“Thank you,” Rory flashes her a grin, “I want this one please, Mummy!”
“I think we can do that one,” Beth agrees, picking up the pumpkin and placing it in the wheelbarrow.
“Right, so pumpkins are all picked out. How about we check out what else there is round here?” Steph suggests, her eyes gazing around as she spots something that you and Rory were definitely going to like, “Look girls, they have a petting zoo. Shall we go and see what animals they have?”
“Animals!” Rory perks up at the instant mentions of animals, “Auntie Stephy, do they have bunnies, like Twix?”
“Like they might do,” Steph nods in agreement.
“They better not have any of them pesky chickens,” Monkey’s apprehensive to go near incase they have them, “Better yet, I’ll stay here out of the way.”
“Menace, relax, they don’t have any chickens,” Leah reassures her while trying hard to stifle her own laughter, “Unless you’re afraid of being attacked by bunny rabbits and ponies, I think you’re safe.”
“Well you know, they can be vicious as well,” Monkey murmurs, showing her reluctance for not wanting to still go near them although as she nears and see’s the different bunnies she changes her tune, “Aw, the bunnies are cute. Can we get one?”
“Bunny rabbits!” You exclaim, making a run towards where they were as you stare at them in awe, “Mummy, I wan’ one of them!”
“Good luck Le,” Lia jokes, wondering how Leah is going to say no to both of you with you looking like that, “How can you say no to those adorable faces?”
Leah inwardly groans and shakes her head, “I’m sorry girls, but… but we already have a dog, remember? We don’t have room for a bunny as well,” she tells you both.
“Dat’ okay, maybe Mama will say yes instead?” You question knowing that Jordan will easily agree to a lot of things that you ask her.
Monkey nods in agreement and runs with your idea, “Good idea, Buddy. I’ll text her!”
“That wasn’t… No, I didn’t mean it like that,” Leah murmurs, pinching her nose and exhaling a sigh, “Monkey, don’t even think about texting Jord to ask for one!”
“Awh, c’mon, you’re no fun,” Monkey huffs and slumps her shoulders, “Sorry Buddy, Mums’ been a killjoy.”
“Look how cute they are, Mummy!” Rory’s eyes are wide as she is eager to pet the bunnies.
“They are cute, aren’t they?” Beth agrees with her daughter, kneeling down to a lower height, “I’m sure if we ask the nice people, they’ll let you pet them.”
“Yeah,” Rory nods along and takes a seat on one of the hay bales as one of the workers places a bunny rabbit on her lap while Rory strokes it’s soft fudge brown fur and Beth makes sure to take lots of snaps to send to Viv who’s back in Manchester currently.
“Mummy, I wan’ pet a bunny as well!” You insist, glancing up at Leah with a small pout on your face.
“Alright well sit down nicely then bubba,” Leah instructs you to sit on the hay bale beside Rory as another worker places a snow white bunny rabbit on your lap.
“Look, Mummy, the bunny looks like the one I have at home!” You declare, beaming a wide smile and you gently stroke the bunny’s soft fur.
Leah smiles and nods in agreement, “Smile, bubba. I’ll take a photo to send it to Mama for her to see,” she tells you, coaxing you to smile nicely while she snaps a quick photo and sends it to Jordan.

Le 🤠 The girls have got it in their head now they want a bunny no thanks to the trip out to pick out their pumpkins!🎃
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
After spending a bit of time at the petting zoo and having a chance to pet the rest of the animals that were there before moving on to see what else they had to offer.
You’re delighted to be able to get your face painted like a tiger and you take great joy in trying to roar at other people while Rory went for being a butterfly instead.
“I’m a tiger! Roar!” You pretend to growl at people nearby who pass, “I’m scary, Mummy!”
“Oh you are terrifying bubba,” Leah jokes playfully as you walk over to a nearby cafe so you can all sit down and have a bite to eat, and you’re very excited to be able to eat one of the cupcakes because they look delicious to eat while the grown ups all have a drink.
“Alright my little tiger, which one do you want to eat?” Leah questions, hoisting you up into her arms so you can peer over and pick out which cupcake you’d like to eat, going for ones’ got the most chocolate on it.
“Dat’ one, please! Get one for Monks’ as well!” You tell her, pointing her index finger straight at it, eagerly accepting it into your awaiting hands and going to sit down at the table to eat it nicely, “Today’s been fun, Mummy!” You tell her.
“Good, I’m glad you’re enjoying yourself bubba,” Leah smiles, pressing a kiss to the top of your head, “What about you, Monkey? Have you had fun?”
Monkey shrugs her shoulders while eating her own cupcake in her hand, “Yeah it hasn’t been totally dull, although it would be call if we could get a rabbit though,” She murmurs, hoping that Leah will cave eventually.
However Leah just snorts and shakes her head in disagreement, “Oh no, that is definitely not happening, I’ve already got you two and a dog to take care of… We don’t need a bunny rabbit as well,” She jokes, shaking her head in amusement and trying to ignore the pouts on both of your faces, “I’m not changing my mind on this one, girls.”

Fun omg ok could you do the main mbav boys (Ethan, Benny, Rory) and how they would react/feel towards (gn) vampire s/o giving them random little love bites <3
The MBAV Boys Reacting To Love Bites From Their Vampire S/O
Masterlist
Request Something!
A/N: like i do with my headcanons, i did a few short sentences and then a little blurb :)
***
Benny
He likes it
He likes the attention and the way it feels
A kinda dull ache but in a nice way
Occasionally, he’ll do it back
Sometimes, he likes to pretend you bit him to the point of turning him just to bite you back
“Ah! I’m wounded!” Benny yelped, clutching the hand that you had gently nipped at. “I can feel the venom coursing through me.”
“Oh, brother.” You rolled your eyes, stifling your laugh as you watched Benny slip off his bed and onto the floor.
“It burns!” He said dramatically, starting to go rigid before going completely limp.
“That’s not how it works, you know?”
Benny ignored you, staying on the floor for a few more seconds before slowly rising to his feet. He faced you with a wide-eyed stare and outreaching arms.
“I vant to drink your blood!” He said in a typical Dracula voice.
“You watch too many movies.” You said with a giggle before Benny pounced on you, biting at any part of you he could.
Rory
Does it back
Like, without hesitation
Since you’re both vampires, you’re not really scared of just chomping down because it won’t affect you too badly
It quickly becomes a silent way of saying ‘I love you’
Weirds the gang out a little bit when you do it out of nowhere
Sometimes you leave teeth marks, but you and Rory think it’s funny
“Oh my god, Rory, what happened to your arm?” Ethan looked at his blonde friend in slight horror, gaze fixated on his right arm that was covered in faint bite marks.
“Yeah, Rory, who mauled you?” Benny asked, slightly more amused by the sight than Ethan was.
Rory looked down at his arm, as if he had forgotten that you had practically used him like a chew toy yesterday.
“Oh! That was just Y/n.” The blonde said with a shrug. “But if you think this is crazy, just wait until you see them.” Rory laughed. “I got both of their arms and their neck!”
“...excuse me?” Ethan seemed even more disturbed.
“What? It’s how we say ‘I love you!’”
Ethan
Kind of freaks him out at first
Especially if you’re doing it after the Jesse incident
He doesn’t really wanna be a vampire
(at least not right now, but that’s a conversation for later)
He’s okay with love bites when you don’t have your fangs out
You and Ethan were in his room, deeply invested in a video game. He was playing while you sat on his lap and watched.
You had developed a bit of a habit of biting Ethan. Not too harshly obviously, just a light nibble here and there. But sometimes, when you were distracted, like you were right now, your fangs would show.
Eyes locked on the screen, you shifted slightly in Ethan’s lap to give him a little love bite on the shoulder. But before you could take the bite, the game suddenly paused, and Ethan was giving you a serious look.
“Put them back.” He said, hand on your jaw to keep your mouth from getting closer to him. You gave him a confused look, and he gestured to your fangs.
“Oh.” You quickly retracted your fangs, smiling a now perfectly normal smile. “Better?”
“Much,” Ethan answered, hand dragging down from your jaw to your arm to give it a quick squeeze, as if to say thanks, before returning to the game. You made sure to give him a few love bites before resting your head on his shoulder and watching him play again.

a/n: so good news I think my adhd medication is finally working lol
tags @yesv01 @magcon7280
Tumblr media
As with all nsfw works all characters are aged up to 18+
WITHOUT FURTHER ADIEU MORE TRISTIN SMUT BC I’M FOAMING AT THE FUCKING MOUTH
What’s fun about Tristin
Among many other things
Is his fixation with your hips
Seriously it was one of the first things this horny motherfucker noticed about you
Whenever you wear anything mildly form fitting he can’t take his goddamn eyes off your hips
Once you’re together it’s basically impossible for him to resist touching them
Sometimes it’s a playful squeeze
Or an affectionate rub
Other times it’s full on groping while he shoves his tongue into your mouth and makes you grind against his thigh
He could live like that for days and not get tired
Speaking of
Tristin has fucking stamina for DAYS
“Men can’t have multiple orgasms” tell that to him!!!!!!!!
He just… has a fixation with all of you honestly
Like there’s no part of you that he’s not going to eye the fuck up
You know the looks he’s always giving Rory????
That’s just the tip of the iceberg babe
Or should I say tip of the penis lol
Anyway
Tristin is vocal as FUCK
Like mans can’t shut up
Even when we’ve reached the previously mentioned dumbfucking point, he’s still going to be whining and grunting and panting nonstop
His moans have you gushing like niagara falls tbh
There is a zero percent chance he’s not going to give you the most affectionate aftercare every time too
So much praise and kisses and cuddles
Like he’ll genuinely get upset if you try to just bounce afterwards
Or worse
If he wakes up the next morning and you’re not there
Maybe he could handle casual hookups with other girls
But not with you
He will absolutely pull you back into bed and demand kisses and cuddles
I’m not gonna lie
He does have a little bit of an exhibitionist streak
Just a tiny itty bitty one
Mostly just from the urge to prove that you’re his when other guys keep flirting with you
If the circumstances were right and you were down, he would be happy to put on a show for them, show them how good he treats you
If you’re still friends with madison and louise/go to the same college as them they will BEG you for details and live vicariously through you
The line where they saw Tristin and Summer making out in front of Rory’s locker and one of them (I forget which one) was like “if you’re dating Tristin you have the right to make out anywhere and everywhere”
Yeah
They will literally grill details out of you
Whatever they can get
And the way they look at him after
The little sighs and head tilts and staring off into space thinking about what you told them, letting their imaginations go wild
It would make you jealous
If you didn’t know how much he likes you
But yeah there’s no one that can take you away from Tristin
He loves you
And he loves keeping things fresh and spicy and exciting
He absolutley fucks you in his car a lot
Like a lot lot
There’s at least a few pairs of your panties that you’ve lost somewhere in the fancy leather seats
He’ll also happily fuck you in your car
And every room and surface of your apartment
And your apartment hallway
And in an elevator once
And public bathrooms
And your bathroom
And pretty much anywhere he thinks yall can get away with
Seriously this boy is such a slut but he’s only a slut for you
You light him on fucking fire and he can’t cope
He needs you biblically,, like in a way that’s concerning to feminism.
You can tell how he feels just from the way he looks at you
And it’s obvious as shit to everyone else too
Like literally everyone
He eye fucks you a lot lot lot
GOD this boy can seduce you so fast
He moans so loud for you too
Tristin will really give you a good show
He wants to impress you
Wants you to need him
(cough cough praise kink)
He wants to breathe the same air as you
He wants to wrap you up so tight in his arms that it feels like you’re merging into one person
Tristin is the “cuddling isn’t enough I need to climb inside your skin” kinda clingy
Solution is cockwarming
Which you both love a lot
Once he realizes cockwarming is an option?????
It slowly increases in frequency
There’s a good chance you won’t be able to sleep without it at some point
Seriously he will hold you tight and rub your back and touch your soft skin and tell you all the lovey dovey things he feels about you
Most of it is lovey dovey
But don’t let that fool you
He is the CEO of both his family company AND dirty thoughts about you
Seriously he’s set off so easily by you
9 times out of 10 he’s probably fantasizing about you
Remembering your touch
How you feel around him
God he can’t wait to get his hands on you again
Let me tell you
Tristin is a motherfucking MENACE when it comes to sexting
He will have you blushing over the phone in ways you didn’t know you could blush
He’s so shameless about it too
If you send him nudes??????
He will literally die
And he’ll happily, happily return the favor
Once he realizes how you react when he sends you nudes?????
He never wants to stop
He literally loves getting you all feral and worked up over him
Don’t let Madison and Louise find out Tristin sends you nudes or else they will steal your phone and make a copy of your fingerprint with sticky tape and face powder just to access them /hj
Speaking of going feral
Tristin’s happy trail?????????
Are we gonna talk about it??????
Are we gonna talk about how you want to fucking bite him and deep throat him until you memorize every vein whenever you see his lil happy trail????
Because you will
You’ll definitely want to
Okay putting myself down now lol
I need his cock immediately
Constantly covered in hickeys and unable to walk and he loves it so much
He loves when you need him and he loves fucking you so good that you’re out of commission the next day
It’s what you deserve
You think he’s a menace now???
God help you when he gets baby fever

I Watched Beetlejuice Beetlejuice a Third Time: More Things I Noticed
Here’s my previous list for those that haven’t read it. Enjoy!
Tumblr media
A lot of people on this post I made thought that the dog in the MacArthur Park sequence was Taco from the Ghosthouse segment where Beetlejuice appears in the audience. I am sad to report this is not the case. Taco is a chihuahua, and the dog that appears is more of a terrier. However, some people on Reddit wonder if the dog is the one that ran out in front of the Maitlands’ car and killed them. I haven’t rewatched the first movie yet to check.
When Beetlejuice stitches Lydia’s mouth shut, she’s more exasperated than afraid. She literally tries to yell, “COME ON!”
Beetlejuice looks so offended on Lydia’s behalf when Rory calls her codependent. Like, “Is he serious right now? Get him, babe!”
Beetlejuice appearing before Delia can finish summoning him furthers the eavesdropping theory I made in my earlier post, and if we go off that theory, we can explain by Beetlejuice wasn’t that bothered by being summoned away at the wedding. He’s overheard Lydia’s desire to take her relationships slow and her reluctance to marriage. (Which is most definitely because of him and the fact that the last living person she loved tragically died—even if their relationship was over before that point.)
In the film, Beetlejuice is the ONLY person that agrees to help Delia find Charles, which we see her do at the end of the movie. This means that Beetlejuice kept his word and helped Delia, and he didn’t keep her away from Charles after the wedding fell through.
“MacArthur Park” plays when the studio intros roll, during the wedding sequence, and the end credits—three times when we have three different iterations of Beetlejuice and Lydia’s dynamic, fun fact. This is meant to be their song, and although the song is about a doomed relationship, this part sticks out to me: “After all the loves of my life / You’ll still be the one.” It doesn’t matter if Beetlejuice gets the timing right. It doesn’t matter if Lydia marries him. He considers her “the one.” He’s always going to wait for her, as conveyed by “Right Here Waiting.”
Astrid opens pages about violation 699 and summoning sandworms via trapdoors. I understand that was meant to “foreshadow” later events and explain why she knew how to do those things, but the terms for 699 are barely on-screen, so it’s hard to catch the part where it lays out how bringing Lydia illegally into the afterlife makes her contract null and void.
When Delores appears at the church, there’s a huge gust of wind, and the Handbook moves, but NOTHING ELSE MOVES with that precision until Delores moves Lydia away from the altar. This is kind of a stretch, but I personally think it’s possible that Beetlejuice saw Delores, and he purposefully sent the book in Astrid’s direction. If we go off my eavesdropping theory, he clearly knows Astrid is a smart girl. Plus, he stopped her from getting to the book earlier, so he knows it’s a threat.
When Beetlejuice has a dramatic entrance or exit, it’s very intentional. He does a whole dramatic couple’s therapy bit for Lydia and Rory. He does the earthquake through the model with a slow rise from the smoke. But we’ve also seen him appear in straightforward ways, too, like how he appears randomly to spook Delia. Beetlejuice controls his entrances and exits, and so his dramatic exit at the end is intentional. He allows Lydia to send him away. He makes a big show of it. Lydia has been manipulated by Rory for years. He’s tried to control her and stifle her. When Beetlejuice lets Lydia send him away and makes a big show of it, he’s demonstrating the amount of control he’s giving to Lydia. He goes because SHE wants him to, not because he can’t stop her from saying his name.
(Editing to say that this post confirms the dog is Tim’s dog.)

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice review - Beetlebabes Galore
My rating: 8.7/10
As far as sequels go, this one pays great homage to the original. More spoiler review under the cut.
The Good
There's some great things about this film, BJ chasing Lydia down, Delores chasing Beej down, Wolf chasing everyone down, it kinda felt like a wacky hunger games. Of course there were problems with pacing, but it's just as gross and crude, if not more than the first movie.
The wedding. God the wedding is so bonkers and pretty. I wish it just went on for a little longer. I know MK was running low on time at that point but the visuals with the church are so pretty. The blue/green atmosphere is something else.
We get confirmation that Lydia is BJ's "love of his life" and fully intends to marry her again pretty early in the film. God Beej was such a loose canon in here and it was so fun to see him again. Every single scene he's trying to win her over, and Lydia's just not having it haha. This whole movie was such a shipfest and you can honestly leave the ending up to interpretation. I personally think they're married - they don't need rings. That scene where they end up in the bed was enough confirmation for me.
The parallel with Astrid and Jeremy floating and Beetlebabes floating was my favorite thing the whole movie. Jeremy lets Astrid fall and won't help her back up but Beetlejuice makes sure he has a firm hold on Lydia. There's something about manipulation and revenge with Beej/Delores & Rory/Lydia too. Beej is coming from a place of genuine, disgusting love. Everyone else is doing it for their own gain.
Wolf was also so fun to watch. He's a great addition to the BJ franchise as like a cop/criminal duo with him and BJ. I would've loved to see more of them interacting. Astrid's dad was also a total sweetheart. I wish he had just a little more time in the film.
The Bad
I will say, the ending was very dissatisfying for BJ. He had done everything asked again, and Lydia signed an actual contract for the marriage this time. He saved Astrid from the Afterlife and saved Lydia from a doomed marriage. But hey, at least we got a hand kiss and that's all I needed LMAO
Delores. Everything about her felt like an afterthought. We don't really see her much after she smashes Lydia's photo. She's made to be this huge threat and we don't really get to see it. There was a lot of missed potential drama with BJ and Lydia putting on the rings (which were cut, damn it all). I do like how they smashed Rory and Delores together with the sandworm though, girl was definitely thinking about going for him 😂
Astrid. She wasn't a bad character but she wasn't great. She was just very naive and I had a hard time liking her character. The Deetz are the opposite of naive, so it just felt off to me. And especially because Delia bites the bullet by venomous snake bites. It just felt like they were dumbed down just a tad too much. Lydia was the only one who kept a strong head the whole film.
The tone of the film vs the trailers. In the trailers, we see a very serious nature about the film. Whereas in film, there's so many plots going on in such a small timeframe, it's a little hard to take anything seriously. And speaking of cut, the editing crew makes a hard zoom onto the ring on the floor and never does anything with the shot. There's def some editing issues/plot issues that got cut or scrapped. We'll have to see when the official script releases.
So....
It's a mess. But it's a fun mess. The visuals are beautiful, the characters are fun. It's such a fun rollercoaster of emotions. I'd definitely go see it again.

You loved working at Luke’s. You loved the customers and the friendly atmosphere that the diner gave off. You even loved Luke’s grumpy attitude most of the time. What you didn’t love was working with Luke’s nephew Jess. He always seemed to have an attitude, an attitude he seemed to take out on you. He was constantly teasing you about the fact that you’d never dated anyone and taking it so far to make jokes about how you were most probably a virgin. You never let on that he was right but his words still stung.
For months, you’d kept quiet, trying to ignore him as best as you can but there was something about the way he’d flirt with Rory and as soon as Dean would walk in, Jess would make his way over to you and begin his teasing, almost taking something out on you. That’s when you decided to give him a taste of his own medicine.
‘How does it feel flirting with someone who you know has a boyfriend?’ you asked casually, keeping your eyes on the coffee machine and not looking up. Out of the corner of your eye, you saw Jess’ head snap up and turn to you.
‘Excuse me?’ he asked, raising an eyebrow at you, clearly not expecting you to have said anything.
‘I mean,’ you began, shrugging and turning around to face him, leaning on the counter, ‘it must suck. Having a crush on Rory, thinking you’re getting somewhere with her and then Dean just walks in and reminds you that you don’t have a chance.’
Jess laughed bitterly and leaned on the opposite side of the counter, so close you could feel his breath fanning across your face. ‘And what about you, huh? You finally ready to let me have a go on that yet?’ he asked, smirking, knowing that comments like that would usually get a rise out of you. However, today, you decided to let it all rise above you, enjoying giving back as much as you got.
‘I don’t think you’d be able to handle me, Jess Mariano,’ you replied, winking at him and turning back around.
‘Come on, I think I know how to handle a virgin, you’re the one no one’s wanted to fuck yet.’
There was something about his words that snapped something inside you and all of a sudden your rising above it attitude disappeared and you felt yourself reaching across the counter to fist your hands in his t-shirt, using the leverage to pull yourself closer to him. ‘I’ve had enough of you. All of these comments and - ’
‘Hey!’ Luke interrupted, yanking Jess away, making you let go of his t-shirt. ‘I’ve had enough of you two constantly arguing. Go upstairs and sort this out and I don’t want to see either of you back down here until you can be civil to each other, do you understand?’
‘Uncle Luke, - ’
‘Do you understand?’
You both mumbled in agreement and turned to head up the stairs. The moment you were both in the apartment, Jess slammed the door shut behind him before walking over to you. ‘Now we’re alone,’ he began before you spun around to face him, tears shining in your eyes and your arms wrapped protectively around your body. ‘What’s wrong?’
‘You have no right to talk to me like that,’ you spat out, jabbing your finger into his chest so hard he was forced to take a step back. ‘I get you hate me, I’m not your biggest fan either but nothing gives you the right to talk to me like that.’
Jess didn’t respond for a few months, stunned into silence. You’d never spoken to him like that and he thought that it was refreshing; you were finally sticking up for yourself and he found it kind of hot. ‘I’m sorry,’ he spoke quietly.
‘You what?’ you asked, disbelieving.
‘I’m sorry, okay,’ Jess groaned, as if it physically pained him to apologise to you. ‘I just lash out and you make it so easy that I just - ’
Jess was cut off by the sound of your groan and in a couple of strides you’d cleared the space between the two of you and pressed your lips against his. Jess’ arms instantly and automatically wrapped around your waist, pulling you in closer as his tongue swiped across your bottom lip, making you whimper against his mouth.
‘What are you doing?’ he mumbled against your lips, unwilling to part them for even a second.
‘Making it less easy for you in the future,’ you replied in the same way. ‘It’ll be less easy for you to make fun of me for being a virgin if I’m not actually a virgin.’
Jess pulled back, looking at you with an unreadable expression. ‘You’re a virgin?’
‘You knew I was,’ you replied, irritated.
‘No, I didn’t,’ he protested, ‘I was always joking! I thought you’d at least have slept with someone, I - ’
‘Jess,’ you interrupted, gripping his t-shirt again and pulling him closer, ‘it doesn’t matter, just fuck me, please.’
‘Are you sure?’ Jess asked, all of a sudden nervous, his arms looping around your waist again. ‘You want me?’
‘I want you because you won’t treat me like I’ll break. I want you to fuck me like you hate me,’ you replied, leaning in to start kissing and nipping at his jaw, causing Jess to groan lowly in your ear. Gripping your hips, he pushed you away just far enough that your lips left his skin.
‘Are you sure this is what you want?’ he asked one last time, making you look him in the eyes. ‘Because I won’t be gentle with you. I won’t treat you like a virgin. I’ll treat you as if you’re just another one of the girls I bring up here, is that what you want?’
‘Please,’ you whispered and that was all Jess needed to hear.
His lips crashed back onto yours and he swiftly lifted you into his arms, your legs wrapping around his waist as your hands moved to cup his face, deepening the kiss as he made his way over to his bed, throwing you down and crawling on top of you. His lips fastened to your neck, his fingers hastily unbuttoning your jeans and pulling them down your legs before he slipped his hand inside your panties, a low growl coming from his throat when he felt how wet you already were.
‘This all for me?’ he whispered into your ear, his teeth gently biting down on your earlobe and tugging slightly, causing a breathy whimper to escape your lips as you nodded frantically. Jess smirked as he moved back to look at you, ‘look at you, I haven’t even done anything yet,’ he said, slipping a finger inside you and watching as your back arched off of the bed.
‘Jess,’ you whined, your hips bucking up, trying to pull his finger into you deeper. Jess grinned and slipped a second finger into you, making you cry out.
‘Gotta make sure you’re ready for me, don’t wanna hurt you, do I?’
You pulled yourself up on your elbows to look at him, your arm reaching out to grip his chin in your hand and forcing him to look at you as he crooked his fingers inside you, making you bite your lip to stop yourself from moaning. ‘Didn’t I say I wanted you to fuck me like you hate me? I’m knew you were going to hurt me going into this, it’s why I came to you. I don’t want anyone to treat me like a virgin!’
Jess’ eyes darkened and he slowly pulled his fingers out of you, a whine escaping your lips at the loss of contact. ‘You really want this?’ Instead of replying, your hands moved down to his belt, undoing it and pushing his jeans down, your eyes widening as his cock came into view. Smirking at your expression, Jess wrapped his hand around his cock and pumped his hand a couple of times. ‘You still don’t want me to prep you?’
‘No,’ you replied, looking back at him, nothing but confidence in your eyes. Taking your answer, Jess roughly pushed you back down onto your back and lined his tip at your entrance. His hand came out to wrap around your throat, pinning your head in the same position, making sure your eyes stayed on his as he pushed into you. He loved the long whine that escaped your lips and the way your face screwed up slightly. Once his hips were flush with yours, he gave you a couple of seconds to adjust to him before pulling out and thrusting back into you harshly.
He started up a relentless pace that had the breath being pushed from your body with every thrust and his lips moved down your neck and collar, making sure to leave hickeys in his wake. Your legs were wrapped around his waist and you felt tears pool in your eyes both from the initial pain and the pleasure that had quickly followed.
‘Jess, please,’ you whimpered, cupping his face in your hand and pressing your lips to his. At the feeling of his lips against yours, Jess’ pace faltered and slowed slightly. You were shocked when you felt his hands come out to take your hands off of his face, keeping your lips connected as he slid his hands into both of yours, effectively pinning your hands to the mattress. ‘I can’t,’ you began as you felt a knot tighten in your stomach and Jess, keeping the slower pace, began to press into you harder, trying to get you to your orgasm before he reached his.
‘Go on,’ he whispered gently against your lips. ‘Cum for me.’
That was all you needed to hear before you felt that knot snap as your orgasm washed over you. Jess thrust into you three more times before pulling out and painting your stomach with his cum, falling onto the bed next to you and pressing a gentle kiss to your shoulder. ‘Are you okay?’ he asked quietly, his knuckles running softly along your arm.
‘Fine,’ you replied, making to sit up and reach for your jeans. Jess’ arm snagged around your waist pulling you back into him. ‘What are you doing?’
‘I know you said that you wanted me to fuck you like I hated you, but I’m not some dick who’s just going to let you go back downstairs after taking your virginity like that. I’m going to make sure you’re okay, and you’re going to let me.’
You looked at Jess to see his expression was dead serious and all of a sudden all your words were stuck in your throat so you just nodded, settling back down onto the bed and resting your head on Jess’ chest, letting his arms wrap around you as you listened to his heartbeat slowing down as sleep took over you both.
