Aside from Luna, Ron is the hardest HP character to capture in fic. Anyone can be intelligent (that's why so many writers gravitate to Hermione) but genuinely funny people are much rarer. Book smarts is plastic, it's everywhere; wit, on the other hand, is a precious metal. Even Ron stans struggle with getting his voice right. I could write Hermione in my sleep, but nailing Ron's quips and comebacks often requires careful thought and precision.

QED Ron bashers are just jelly they ain't as funny as The Weasel King.

I’ve never watched a single movie of Harry Potter nor have I read a single word from the books. So, whatever version of Draco that fanfic writers have collectively agreed to write him as is the version I know. And that version is a sassy, dramatic, funny, and pessimistic person who needs a hug at times.

I’ve only read one fic where it’s Draco’s pov of Tom Riddle and Harry Potter getting together (tomarry if you will) and it was very funny.

Because he’s like ‘this is literally Voldemort, the guy that killed your parents, what are you doing?’ And Harry’s like ‘he might be very manipulative and charming and psychopathic but he isn’t so bad now and he’s very hot so who cares!’

Don’t ask me the name, I don’t know it. But I will be needing more fics of Draco and Harry going back in time and Draco watching Harry get together with the same man that caused a whole big war years later and practically ruined Harry’s life. Throw in a rare-pair Draco ship as a treat.

Is there any fics just about Harry being a third wheel to Ron and Hermione. I have seen some where either Ron or Hermione are the third wheels with whoever Harry is with in fanfics but I wanna see one where he just kinda suffers when he’s right between them arguing.

Little shit Harry with married Ron and Hermione all through out school. And I know some similar things happened in the actual books and movies I just want more scenarios.

Blaise was funny, under it all, and he loved to give Ron a go. Harry figured they'd end up together one night, and more than likely with Hermione by their side since she couldn't ever get enough of either of them. A little friendly competition, Theodore called it with a chuckle. Pansy was a little shy, really, once you got to know her. Neville was quiet, but in no means shy. He was always up for some fun, always up to get his hands dirty. Pansy liked that, Harry noticed, and he might have given Neville a bit of a nod in the direction the first time she asked him for help with an assignment.

There was a past there, they all knew that, but there was future too.

Harry found happiness in their banter, he found joy that he could be himself, and he found love in that childhood bully-turned-friend.

He found love in Draco Malfoy.

Well, they weren't perfect, but they were good.

I have a fic rec for Harry Potter

Warning: This fic is incomplete and posted anonymously.

With that out of the way, this is one of my top 5 favorite fanfics of all time, ever. It’s the only Harry Potter fic there.

The character that changes the most here is Draco (and Pansy), but everyone else is slight enough to be believable. It’s their choices and relations that change the story. (Like most good fanfics)

Now, there are no ships, but if you’re a fan of Dramione or Pansmione or Drarry or even Ronmione, you could definitely read it with those in mind. All the characters have very interesting dynamics with each other.

The houses thing: You won’t be able to unsee it.

Darkness surrounded her as she walked through the dimly lit alleyways of the Muggle neighbourhood. The soft fabric of her hood did no good in protecting her from the cold wind of the November air. Goosebumps covered her arms and back as the fallen leaves on the ground crunched under every step she took. She did not look up, eyes focused on the grey pavement, thoughts of shame racing through her mind. She hated this. She hated herself for this even more. But she could not stop.

Hermione held her breath, barely making a sound as she slipped into the familiar flat. Her heart was racing like it always did when she came home late. The familiar weight of guilt seemed to pull her down as she took off her coat and began tiptoeing through the dark hallway. The sound of the clock, that read 1:45 am, and Ron’s deep, steady snores drifted from the bedroom.

Good. He was still asleep.

She exhaled softly and started toward the bathroom, her hand brushing the handle of the door when—

“Hermione.”
