Smash or Pass - Short Poppies Edition
Tumblr media
Terry Pole - PASS (Great legs, awful hair, and I feel like he'd talk the whole time and not be very good at the deed itself - also possibly homebrews his own lube and I'm so not here for the consequences of that).
Tumblr media
Steve Whittle - SMASH (Would 100% munch box for hours, believes an A grade in pussy is very much achievable and normal to want. I would give him a gold star sticker).
Tumblr media
Ron Taylor - PASS (He's got the mind of a 15 year old whose special interest is whales, and the voice of chalk in a blender).
Tumblr media
Mary Ledbetter - PASS (She's too high maintenance and would criticise you constantly. Also I hate parking on the street).
Tumblr media
Bill Napier - SMASH (Sad Dad energy, knows his way around a natural phenomena if you catch my drift, would make you a brew after and possibly do some gardening for you).
Tumblr media
Louise Cooper - SMASH (Babygirl is made of sunshine and patchouli. She's a bad mother but she'd be an absolutely wild lay - probably has a butt plug made of crystal that'll realign your chakras into next week. I am 100% climbing out the window afterwards to escape the 'what are we?' talk though.)
Tumblr media
Rhod Gainer - PASS (It's the hair, and the general...sleaze that makes this a 50/50, I love some sleaze. But, the car thing...he is definitely compensating for something. BUT, it's a smash x 2 if Louise is there.)

Horror Movie Review: Dead Heat (1988)
While LAPD detectives Roger and Doug are investigating a spree of crime committed by dead criminals, Roger is killed. He is brought back to life by a resurrecting machine used on these criminals. Then the real case begins…
Dead Heat is a 1988 American buddy cop action zombie comedy film directed by Mark Goldblatt. Detectives Roger Mortis and Doug Bigelow are called to the scene of a rather violent jewellery store robbery. The robbers take on a squadron of police in a messy shootout, but neither seems affected when they are riddled with bullets. Thanks to the combined, albeit extreme measures of Mortis and Bigelow,…

You know what? I've always said that the late great Ron Taylor - also of Twin Peaks fame, at least in my book - should get more recognition for his role as the Klingon chef from Melora and Playing God. Best two-time recurring character they ever did.
So I am entirely onboard with this sentiment.
(Yes I will write lengthy pieces on Lower Decks and then immediately follow it up with this, get used to it. Oh yeah and Taylor was also the original voice of Audrey II from the Off-Broadway production of Little Shop of Horrors, which is probably more relevant to most people.)
this klingon chef is hot as fuck

I would like to give thanks to the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for honoring my uncle Ronald W. Taylor at the 2023 Emmy Awards program last night during their In Memoriam segment. He was a fantastic human being and was a great mentor.

It came without ribbons. It came without tags. It came without packages, boxes, or bags. And he puzzled and puzzled til his puzzler was sore. Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn’t before.  Maybe Christmas…he thought…doesn’t come from a store. Maybe Christmas…perhaps…means a little bit more.

UNEARTHED: 'True Believer' From LILLIAN AXE Off "Poetic Justice"
When the LILLIAN AXE album “Poetic Justice” came out in 1992, it was the first on I.R.S. Records after MCA had dropped the band. It was 1992 after all, and anything related to the 80’s was being purged to make room for more Grunge and Alternative.  Back then, talent meant nothing (still doesn’t actually) and the labels needed to push out one scene to make room for another. The problem was that…
