Initial Magnus Protocol Thoughts

Having completed my re-listen, I have THEORIES, and questions.

Theory 1 - Colin didn't phone Alice. He hated and feared phones as the series progressed. When Alice got the 'call' from Colin he was already in the server, and it was either an echo of him or something using him to try and lure her. (I suppose he also might have lost all hope and decided there was no point avoiding the phone, but also, I think this is creepier).

Theory 2 - Alice called herself Sam's best friend in this and all worlds (paraphrasing as can't remember the exact words) but does this foreshadow that he will meet Alice in the other world? If the other world is TMA, what was she up to in that timeline?

(Question - is there a Celia who belongs in TMP world, if so, where is she? And who is Jack's father?)

Theory 3 - The OIAR isn't eye aligned, it's web aligned. They literally use a 'web crawler' and seem to be a central controlling organisation to other entities, potentially using them as hitmen/agents to manipulate events on a level no one can quite comprehend.

(Question - how does the OIAR control entities/externals? Is it purely by providing them with victims? or is there a threat to go with that incentive?)

Theory 4 - The 'Magnus Protocol' mentioned in statements is a failsafe created by the web to prevent a similar eye-pocalypse to the one in TMA. We already know individual rituals can never succeed but perhaps the 'protocol' is used against any individuals who become touched by too many entities, like Jon was, or who stand a chance of knowing too much about the greater scheme of things. And part of the OIAR's purpose is to track these encounters and to maintain a balance. The protocol may have been used against Newton because his 'fruit of knowledge' was a threat to the web's machinations. if it could give an animal a human-like consciousness, it may have been able to elevate a human to a level where they could comprehend the web's complex plots.

Theory 5 - Teddy's new job is working for Starkwall

Theory 6 - The transportation of entities through the crack has led to some 'confused' avatars which are combinations or entities, some of which maybe be diametrically opposed, causing unique and unforeseen issues. Mr Bonzo may be one of these, combining the Stranger, the Flesh and the Corruption, hence his horrifically mutated appearance.
