She keeps my pieces together. Isn’t that love? Isn’t the letter she wrote? Isn’t the necklace she chose? Isn't remembering details about me or hearing my rants? Physical affection, in reality, you can get from anyone, but showing yourself to someone in the continuous question:

“Can you love me?”

And the fact that the answer keeps being:

The Romantic period of literature was always my favourite, so I guess it’s no surprise now that I’m all about those cottagecore vibes. 🧺🌳 If you were to go back to university now (or if you haven’t gone/didn’t go), what would you choose to study? I have such a crush on romantic literature. The words wind their way around my heart and into my soul. I adore the way language makes me feel and how deeply those emotions cling to every part of me.

But this love I have recently found cannot be described using words. My precious literature is no longer sufficient or able to meet the dizzying heights I reach every day. ‘I love you’ is said again and again, yet it somehow still doesn’t convey to him what that truly means to me. Three words that mean so much and are sometimes so hard to say, are suddenly not enough for me.

James. My feelings and emotions are simmering, close to overflowing, every moment of every day. Even the spaces in between are filled with you. My world is yours. My life is yours. My heart is yours. The words elude me and there are none that seem to capture the deep connection I have to you. Know I adore every moment of us. Know our love story will be enough, even when the spoken words are not.

Life has definitely picked up over the past few months and so far 2019 has been filled with ups, downs, and everything in between. I’m currently in the middle of the most hectic semester I’ve had so far and I’m constantly studying or cranking out essays and new short stories/novel projects! But since I’m on spring break this week, which means it’s my 3 year bookstagram anniversary this month, I figured I’d post just to let y’all know I’m still here and haven’t quit yet. To be honest, lately bookstagram felt like a chore and I was tired of focusing on numbers and only posting books I knew would get me more likes. BUT, that mentality is cancelled. I’ve decided that when I’m able to post I’m going to post books that bring me joy without caring about how people are going to engage with it. Bookstagram is a hobby, and I need to remember that.
