How do you imagine characters when you read? Do they look like someone you know or they are a vague idea that has no face?

Even when authors are hyper specific when describing a character, every reader imagines them differently. Isn’t that fascinating? It’s one of the beauties of reading. Readers are creators, too. They fill the blank space between the lines with their own imagination.

If Simon describes Romy to you, he will tell you she is the most charming girls he has ever met. But if she describes herself, she will tell you she is rather plain. Who of the two is the unreliable narrator? Or aren't they both blinded by their personal perception of the world?

I can’t wait for you to meet those characters on the pages of my upcoming novella…

We are quickly introduced to our sunshine, Lieta, who is happy, cheerful, high-on-Christmas-spirit, and excitedly looking forward to her time at Santa’s Grotto. Then we meet our Grump, Rhett. He hasn’t had it easy and is just doing this job to make ends meet because he haaaates Christmas. I absolutely loved the dynamic between the two characters and loved that sass and flirtatious banter. I’m still mad at Quincy for what happened but I’m so proud of Rhett for stepping up with a grand gesture!! 🥹 This was a very short and sweet holiday novella with a darling HEA. 🍃Books & Drink🍃 QOTD: have you ever used the kindle app or have a kindle? Do you like it? Just a bet is cute, I love the sibling aspect but I also hated how they always bet against her too. I really liked how things came together though. It was cute. Lately, I’ve been LOOOOOVING the Kindle app. I love how my highlights are automatically synced with GoodReads, it’s super easy to use and with Kindle Unlimited having so many books available is so nice. Also, I’ve read so many romance novellas on here. 😂😂 and many more to come. It learns how fast you read so it tells you how long you would take on a book which is cool. Another feature I absolutely love and it helps me personally so much is the reader ruler thing it has that you can use the ruler and go down the page as you read and this helps me so much. I struggled reading straight when I was a kid and so this helps whenever I’m tired. This drink is a Blue Long Island and it tastes sooooo good.
