Roman Gods And Goddesses of the Countryside, Arch of Trajan at Beneventum, 114 CE
These gods and goddesses represent the prosperity of the countryside: Bacchus, god of the vine with his thyrsos (a fennel-stalk staff); Ceres, goddess of corn and the harvest, with a torch; Diana, goddess of hunting and wild animals; and Silvanus, god of woods and fields, who holds a pine branch (in situ, west side, attic).

To give the gods and deities offerings, do they see us as we see crows bringing them shiny things?

"Somebody will say something like "I can't help myself" but let me tell you something. Listen, the devil can't make a Child of God do anything. He cannot make you. He will lead you, he will guide you, he'll entice you, tempt you but he can't make you." - Dr. Charles Stanley.
Once you have surrendered yourself to Christ, once you have been born again, and once you're gifted with the Holy Spirit, you are a Child of God and therefore you're no longer a slave to the world. You're no longer a slave to the spiritual principalities that rule this word (Ephesians 2:2, Proverbs 1:10).
As a Child of God we are called and expected to walk in step with the Holy Spirit on a "moment by moment" basis. Meaning we don't seek him once a day, once a week, once a month, only when we're in trouble and distress, but on a moment to moment basis. Seeking him every moment of everyday.
We do this because everyday we wake up we face three enemies:
The world
The flesh
The devil
This is why we seek the Spirit on a moment by moment basis. We seek his council, his wisdom, his strength. We seek him when we are inevitably confronted by one of these three enemies and they can come at any moment.
Moment by moment we should be listening to the Holy Spirit. Why? Because he is our guide. He is our gift from the Father above.
Trust me, I know how hard it can be to struggle with sin, to struggle with giving in. I understand just as much as anybody. But I promise you, it's possible to live life without sin, I've done it before, I can do it again. And I know you can too. Amen, may God bless you, always. 🤍
Ephesians 1:14 NLT
[14] The Spirit is God’s guarantee that he will give us the inheritance he promised and that he has purchased us to be his own people. He did this so we would praise and glorify him.
Romans 8:4
For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.

I’m sick of having to censor my language and beliefs in order to save face in my community. I am polytheistic. I am pagan. I believe in many gods. I worship many gods. I speak to the gods and they speak back. I can hear them. I can see them. I have conversations with them. I believe in faeries. I have faeries that are my friends and live in my house. I give them offerings and they help with the chores. They also take my things and play other practical pranks, just like the old stories said. I know their names. I speak to them and they speak back. I believe in ghosts and spirits. I grew up in a haunted house. I’m psychic. I can speak to the dead. I have spoken to both living and dead animals. I’m superstitious. I find comfort in old wives tales. I am spiritually powerful. I will speak my truth, even if it makes me yet another witch on the outskirts. So be it. That is my destiny.

i want to say first of all that i fully respect a community's/denomination's/culture's right to have closed practices. i am not entitled to other people's traditions, and when i am a guest in a space i understand that everything is not automatically for me. and i know i do not have to understand to respect.
and also! when i go to a catholic church and can't receive communion i want to fall on the floor weeping. what do you mean i can't have him he's right there. sorry my baptism was the wrong kind of baptism. i'm hungry and you want me to become someone else before being fed.

‭Romans 5:1-2, 6-8, 12, 17 (NIV‬) [1] “Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, [2] through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God. [6] You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. [7] Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. [8] But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. [12] Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned— [17] For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ!”

i don't know who needs to hear this but asserting a belief as existing "in lore" without specifying what "lore", from when and where, or indeed naming any kind of actual source makes you look like you just pulled that "historical fact" out of your arse

Tisha B'Av is over now right? Back to the Jewish joy right?
The Romans destroyed our temples in hopes of destroying us. But guess what ancient Romans! we're out here still worshipping Hashem just as our ancestors did.
Take that motherfuckers!!!!!
