GIFTED: ROLL’D MEALBOX THAT FEEDS FOUR - JUST LAUNCHED TODAY on 7 SEPT // Four flavours available! I picked Banh Canh Cua which is their crab noodle soup Mealbox. Quite impressed as the broth was thick and flavoursome especially with the addition of dried shrimp - there was also a generous portion of crab meat provided. Tasty! Just a pity about the mouldy cut chilli - note that my box was delivered on Friday afternoon and I’d assembled it on Saturday afternoon, box was kept in the fridge in between. The four flavours are: BÚN BÒ HUẾ: Bún Bò Huế is a spicy beef noodle soup originating in Huế. BÁNH CANH CUA: This hearty southern Vietnamese soup will warm you through and through with delicious fresh seafood and thick tapioca flour noodles. MÌ TÔM THỊT: This delicious bowl of textural goodness includes chicken broth, pork belly, prawn, bean shoots, spring onion, fresh lemon, shallots and chilli. PHO ‘FERR’: The traditional Vietnamese soup, with sliced rare beef and a rich aromatic broth. The Roll’d Meal Box is a ready-made kit that will have all the pre-portioned essential ingredients to make a fresh, tasty meal for your friends and family. The best bit? You don’t need to shop or think. A QR code on the box will take customers to a range of cooking demonstration videos, available in multiple languages, hosted by Roll'd's Quinnie Hoang. Customers will be shown a step by step guide on how to make and assemble traditional, fresh Vietnamese food at home.
