#rogues! means the world to me

With the new Season of Rogues! The Podcast starting to be recorded. I'd like to put here a few of my predictions / wants for the next season. Maybe some of them happen. Maybe none of them happen. It'll just be a fun game for me and I encourage anyone else who wants to play along to join! 1. I need Query and Echo to come back. Every day I'm deprived of them is like hell and I miss them. I hope they're doing well. I hope Echo is enjoying Fortnite OG

2. I need a musical episode. I NEED A MUSICAL EPISOE CHAT. Music Meister is rumored to be in the next season so its almost like.. a given that I want there to be a musical episode. An entire Episode of Edward singing? Yes PLEASE

3. So I have a theory Clayface is somehow involved in whatever plan Jervis is concocting. So really like anything involving Jervis would be great.

4. I also really want Jon to deck Jervis in the face over the stuff with Ikky but I'm not holding my breath on that one

5. More batkids show up!! I would love to hear from Tim and from Damian but I'm not picky. I just already love how the Batfam is written and getting a dialogue of all the BatBoys together would be so much fun. Anyways those are some of my Rogues! Season 7 predictions/wants. I will probably have more once episodes start coming out, because goodness GRACIOUS I'm excited!! YALL ARE GONNA BE SICK OF ME

I AM BACK FROM FINALS!!!!

Fellas, is it wrong to consider DS! Dream to be similar to Batman? Just a very, very, VERY murderous and unforgiving to criminals version of Batman who acts like an emotional constipated boy scout?

Not outwardly though. I'm pretty sure DS! Dream seems to be an emotionally available (specifically not emotionally vulnerable) kind of person to most. But it's canon that DS! Dream keeps people at a distance. And like, DS! Dream has a reputation to uphold and he is not about to be seen fumbling after his many, many efforts despite his anxiety. But man is in denial to the.. bad parts, of his extreme ideology that I'm pretty he has all those "negative/doubts" at the back burner of his mind and isn't about to confront what killing DS! Mare will end up like for him. What killing all criminals—instead of rehabilitating the few—would mean. Pretty sure that'll lead to a very meltdown, existential crisis, shutting down or possibly frantic acts of extreme redemptions. DS! Dream is a responsible kind of guy, so he'll definitely try to upheave the system (that he made) first to fix it first. Do a "leave no stones unturned" kind of thing.

But my point is that DS! Dream is like Batman who has Bruce Wayne's reputation (not being a playboy but a philanthropist) and Justice Reigns is like Wayne Enterprise.

My Time with Rogues! The Podcast

My little journey with Rogues! the Podcast started back on July 27th. I got a DM from friend of mine talking about this podcast on Spotify (and that I would LOVE this version of The Riddler). I distinctly remember laying in a hammock falling asleep to Edward Nygma berate listeners over their stupid riddles and questions. (I later almost fell out of the hammock when I heard a southern Jonathan Crane). Rogues! was my little safe space for a long time. I kept it close to my chest. I was dealing with a lot of very emotional things that summer and Rogues! made me happy. It made me feel better. I could turn on an episode and I knew I would feel at least a bit better. November 11th is another very special day in my heart and journey with Rogues! (and the greater Codotverse) That was the day I uploaded my very first tiktok about the podcast and it was just supposed to be a silly little joke. Nothing was supposed to come of it. I even made a joke about how niche it was. I tagged the creator himself, Codot aka TheVoiceBoss, not expecting anything of it but it changed everything. I became a prominent tiktok creator who made Codotverse content. I started making friends through the podcast.

@sh4pes-4nd-colors and I became campaign managers for a season. We're managing a zine dedicated to Rogues! called Rogues! the Fanzine. We're making our own story driven podcast.

My best friend in the entire world @lunar-scapes and I got internships across the country together and we're going to be living together.

All of this sprouted from the love of a singular creative project from two people that truly do love what they do regardless of the popularity or monetary compensation.

Alls this to say. Thank you @voiceboss for everything you've done knowingly or unknowingly for me. Rogues! provides me a comfort not many pieces of media can. It means the absolute world to me. Rogues! reignited my love in DC comics (and comics in general) and I cannot thank you enough for everything you and Dee have done. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I look forward to next year of fun and dastardly schemes.
