Notes: I had some down time and wasn’t at a place where I could work on Honeymoon?  I have no other excuse.  For @lovebugs-and-snakecharmers September’s sprint challenge, using the prompt: My husband was worried.  I text him to say I was at the hospital and I would see him later.  He immediately phoned back all worried to see what was wrong.  He forgot he married a nurse.

Jet lag was a bitch.  Luka knew this, of course.  He’d been touring since he was eighteen – of course he knew this.  It wasn’t the first time he’d crawled in the front door three hours after he was supposed to be home (or even three days, in the worst case), and he was sure it wouldn’t be the last.  It also wasn’t the first time Marinette was already asleep when he finally got home, either her own schedule preventing her from waiting up for him or the delays making her fall asleep on the couch before he could get there.

So when he had gotten home later than expected the night before and found her already asleep, it hadn’t entirely phased him.  He’d popped in to the nursery to check on the baby, who was sound asleep in her crib, and after a quick shower he’d crawled in behind his sleeping wife.  She’d woken up just enough to greet him with a welcome home kiss – to turn and wrap her limbs around him in a koala hug he was more than happy to return – before falling back to sleep.  She was gone by the time he woke up again, which was perfectly fine.  Nothing too unusual.  Sure, he would have liked the chance to greet her properly, but he figured she had an appointment or some such he had just forgotten about.

She’d be home soon enough, and she would welcome him home then.  No big.

…except he’d barely had a chance to tug her pillow against his chest, burying his face in it and breathing in the lingering scent of her shampoo, when his phone started buzzing on the bedside table.  He groaned and pushed his face deeper into the pillow, intending on ignoring it (admittedly thinking it was Jagged or Penny or Dingo or someone he didn’t want to talk to when he could be sleeping).  The phone stopped buzzing, was silent a few moments, and then buzzed one last time before falling silent.

Just looked thru all my scrapbooks and finally figured out what date i watched captain america the winter soldier for the first time. Found the movie ticket stub itsApril 20 2014… i will be watching catws on that day this year to celebrate and mourn. I loved that fuckin movie. perfect movie for a 14 year old girl im so serious no one got it like the 14 year old girls let me tell u that…. . I also highly recommend the Fat Stacks series by Jesse Thompson; he's also an actual art professor and his series reviews different art books, which can be great for breaking down these texts if you're overwhelmed by the (very useful) info they give!

📚Here is my list:

The "how to draw manga" series produced by Graphic-sha. These are for manga artist but they give great advice and information.

"Creating characters with personality" by Tom Bancroft. A great book that can help not just people who draw cartoons but also realistic ones. As it helps you with facial ques and how to make a character interesting.

"Albinus on anatomy" by Robert Beverly Hale and Terence Coyle. Great book to help someone learn basic anatomy.

"Artistic Anatomy" by Dr. Paul Richer and Robert Beverly Hale. A good book if you want to go further in-depth with anatomy.

"Directing the story" by Francis Glebas. A good book if you want to Story board or make comics.

"Animal Anatomy for Artists" by Eliot Goldfinger. A good book for if you want to draw animals or creatures.

"Constructive Anatomy: with almost 500 illustrations" by George B. Bridgman. A great book to help you block out shadows in your figures and see them in a more 3 diamantine way.

"Dynamic Anatomy: Revised and expand" by Burne Hogarth. A book that shows how to block out shapes and easily understand what you are looking out. When it comes to human subjects.

"An Atlas of animal anatomy for artist" by W. Ellenberger and H. Dittrich and H. Baum. This is another good one for people who want to draw animals or creatures.

Etherington Brothers, they make books and have a free blog with art tips.

As for Supplies, I recommend starting out cheap, buying Pencils and art paper at dollar tree or 5 below. For digital art, I recommend not starting with a screen art drawing tablet as they are more expensive.

For the Best art Tablet I recommend either Xp-pen, Bamboo or Huion. Some can range from about 40$ to the thousands.

Those are the ones I can recall.

So do with this information as you will but as you can tell there are ways to learn how to become an artist, without breaking the bank. The only thing that might be stopping YOU from using any of these things, is YOU.

I have made time to learn to draw and many artist have too. Either in-between working two jobs or taking care of your family and a job or regular school and chores. YOU just have to take the time or use some time management, it really doesn't take long to practice for like an hour or less. YOU also don't have to do it every day, just once or three times a week is fine.

he  couldn't  believe  what  he  had  just  heard.  for  first,  it  was  rather  embarrassing  he  had  to  bring  his  old  man  to  a  party  like  this.  not  like  he  didn't  suspect  his  dad  to  be  a  cold,  unfunny  type.  however,  he  would  probably  rather  be  here  alone  than  with  his  own  parent.  especially  since  the  ex  -  king  of  pirates  was  already  quite  old,  and  this  establishment  located  in  one  of  the  inns  of  the  island's  main  town  would  be  filled  with  much  younger  people.  

maybe  ace's  age,  a  bit  older  and  younger.  certainly  not  people  almost  seventy  years  old.  not  to  mention  that  their  relationship  was  still  not  on  the  best  place.  but  on  the  other  hand,  he  felt  a  bit  guilty  if  he  had  to  leave  his  father  locked  in  a  room  somewhere  on  the  upper  floors  while  he  himself  was  sipping  liters  of  alcohol  as  if  it  was  his  last  means  of  quenching  his  thirst.  

it  took  a  moment  for  ace  to  lose  roger  in  the  crowd,  when  he  wasn't  coming  back  for  some  time  the  fire  fist  tore  through  the  crowds  of  people  looking  for  the  supernaturally  tall  man,  but  fortunately  his  search  didn't  last  long  when  he  saw  his  father  emerge  from  the  bathroom,  a  little  wobbly  that  is.  a  little  baffled,  ace  stepped  up  only  to  hear  where  his  parent  wandered  off  to.  and  surely,  he  wasn't  so  pleased  with  what  he  headed. 

❝  YOU  DID  WHAT  IN  THE  FUCKIN'  BATHROOM  ?!  ❞  his  jaw  fell  open.  he  didn't  even  know  what  to  say.  whether  to  be  angry  or  not,  he  felt  as  if  he  had  been  completely  clobbered.  ❝  rog  ...  dad.  you're  like  fuckin'  seventy  and  went  to  snort  lines  ??  without  me  ?!  ❞  now,  ace  was  getting  angry.  truly,  he  was  more  hurt  by  the  fact  that  he  had  not  been  invited  than  by  what  could  possibly  happen  to  his  father  after  the  powders  he  had  allowed  himself  to  take.
