uhh yeah. i didn’t wanna draw the pokemon rn so i just stuck the team i made on there. there is reasons for each pokemon on her team actually so thats under the cut
btw she is Not talking about ghost types. There’s a difference dangit we’re talking about GHOST ghosts not ghost TYPES gOSH. ghost hunter (not ghost types)
rockruff - it’s skipper. her dog. self explanatory. no i don’t know why i chose rockruff over all the other dog pokemon.
clodsire - in the undergarden video squiddo mentioned having a clodsire named lil fart. so he is here.
porygon z - it’s like a virus pokemon. Come on. there are 100% creepypastas about this guy in the pokemon universe. and it’s named herobrine because . it’s Squiddo.
huisian zoura - i don’t think i spelled either of those right. this one was mostly vibes and i was going for Spooky. the name is just vibes.
absol - squiddo is sort of a disaster magnet and i think she’d have an absol, there’s spooky legends about it and she could have it around during her ghost hunting trips to warn her of danger. named pandora bc of pandoras box
leafeon - mandatory eeveelution. its leafeon because she porbably messes around in the woods a lot so mostly vibes. i’d give her umbreon but ashswag has one and im going for no duplicates. it’s named sunny because i don’t know ok not all of them can be super deep symbolic choices
#squiddo#daily squiddo#the real squiddo#mcyt#pokemon au#should i tag. the pokemon . in this post.#yeah. Sure. why not.#rockruff#clodsire#porygon-z#uhh#zoura?#i can’t spell that one#absol#leafeon

Hello, have a break from the horrors and behold Jonathan Harker with Pokémon on a train (for his business trip).
Pokémon featured are a Rockruff and a Tinkatuff
I’m putting information and headcanons under the cut for this.
I’ve been getting back into a Pokémon phase because of Pokémon Scarlet and have been having Dracula and Pokémon thoughts. Originally I intended to have this done by the first droughtcula but I underestimated how fast I can do digital drawings. Which is to say I am very slow and not certain if I’ll do another one in this medium. The train is a bright yellow to give a happy energy to the picture as the beginning of the journey held joyful promise for Jonathan’s future before the castle. Anyway… headcanons for this silly au.
Jonathan, before his trip, has two Pokémon. The first is an Eevee, named Hamlet, which he traded to Mina. Inturn, Mina traded Jonathan her Tinkatuff, named Tinktink, after the strange sounds on the roof it made before Mina had befriended and caught it. The trade was done so they would have a Pokémon from each other for comfort while separated. (Note: Mina also has an Eevee. They got their Eevees at the same time whilst playing in Exeter).
Jonathan’s second Pokémon is a Rockruff, named Horatio. Horatio was a gift given to Mr. Hawkins as an egg. The egg hatched and immediately bonded to Jonathan. Since it was so deeply attached, Jonathan had to take it with him.
Originally I was going to make the rockruff shiny but I felt that the normal colors contrasted better with Jonathan’s coat. I am however going to put the shiny version here.
To avoid spoilers I am going to have to put an in-depth reason for these Pokémon in a different post and once that’s made I’ll go back and link it here for those curious.
Thank you for reading!

AAAAAAND WERE BACK with more Subway to Stardew silliness NSNNDD.
Thank you to the folks over at @subwaytostardew for making this wonderful mod and letting me make silly art about it lol.
In any case time for some headcannon nonsense.
(click for better quality because Tumblr makes it crunchy)
If Stardew Valley were to have a box legendary I think it would be Cresselia. It's literally Lunar pokemon and represents the crescent moon so it being the patron legendary of Stardew Valley just makes a lot of sense to me. Also Cresselia is underrated NSNDN.
Maybe there would be a secret special encounter for Darkrai. (the other half of it and Cresselia's duo but is a mythical for some reason?)
Also the Lunar wing would be very neat item to have in-game ANSNDND.
If it were to exist within the mod I imagine the farmer would be like "oooo shiny feather. Maybe it's a pokemon feather? Emmet/Ingo would probably like it :D" so then they make it into a necklace, or maybe just give it to one of them outright without knowing what it is. So Emmet/Ingo sees it and just starts freaking the hell out cause their crush/friend just gave them a piece of a literal legendary pokemon meanwhile the farmer is just....clueless NSNDND.
Now onto some of the other characters.
As basically the resident nurse joy of Pelican Town I think Harvey would have some pokemon common in the medical field. Though, pokemon like Chansey and Audino don't really fit his whole "whiskey neat, coffee black, bed at three"/ref vibes so I thought Indeedee would be best NSNDNND.
I also decided to give some pokemon to the characters mentioned within my ask.
Willy is very fond of water types, clearly NSNS. Specifically fish pokemon like Lanturn, Seaking, Whiscash, Wishiwashi, or Dondozo. (Though his actual team probably has a good chunk of pokemon that are still water type just not fish lmao) The crowning jewel of his collection is a shiny Magikarp he fished up. Maybe one day it will evolve, but for now it just swims around the docks next to his house entertaining anyone that visits.
He also has a Bibarel. (which I imagine is the grown up version of that one Bidoof that snuck into Pelican Town) It acts more like an overgrown housecat than a battle ready pokemon but it is incredibly bulky so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
Morris also has a few pokemon of his own. Most of which he keeps at home. But his main two he's seen with is a Gimmighoul and a Gumshoos. (IDK he just has Gumshoos vibes to me NSNDNND) They run around Joja pickpocketing people's gold cause Morris is just a dick like that.
"It's Wizard time mother fucker, FIREBALL-"/ref
Wizard likes psychic types, but I like to think he also has a fondness for fairy types too. Also, most of em has at least one strong fire type move just so he has an excuse to yell "fireball" and blast something NSND. His Malamar is named Illithid (a wack squid monster guy from DnD lol)
Sandy likes rock types, given that she lives in a desert it's probably the only type of pokemon she sees on the daily lol. She also has a key stone on her earring. With how colorful a keystone is when compared to sand I think she would be the most likely to find one there. Idk exactly if she'd mega evolve an Aerodactyl or a Tyranitar, if any pokemon at all. But I think she'd carry it around regardless. It's pretty :]
Also she has a shiny Rockruff. I don't rly have an explanation for that one I think it just fits the vibe lol.
And now, shenanigans.
Emmet then proceeds to grab the child and just.... speed walk away HSBBDBDJJR.
That's all I have for now, I'll probably throw some other pokemon at the bachelorettes and other bachelors another time but this alone took a solid week due to finals 😭/lh
Time for me to go to bed lol, have a good one 👍

The next Fic of the Week is here!
Daily Life in Pokemon Paradise by Kitsu19!
Summary: Ichi the Pikachu aims to be the number one businessmon in the Mist Continent. He dreams of constructing a “Pokemon Paradise” — a bustling shopping district that’ll bring in some fat stacks of cash! Hopefully the strange Snivy he found in the forest, the goody-two-shoes Audino from town, and the Rockruff claiming to come from some famous guild will prove to be some help. What’s that? World-ending crisis? Humans? Negative emotions? Nah. Not our problem. Well, we hope it’s not our problem, anyway.
A slice-of-life story set in PMD: Gates to Infinity. Prior knowledge of GTI’s plot is unnecessary.
Check out the fic here: https://pmdfanfiction.com/story/daily-life-in-pokemon-paradise/
Happy reading!!!

Pokemon Horizons Episode 3 Review: Sprigatito Rescue Mission
This episode continues from the previous one, in which Liko and the Rising Volt Tacklers team up to rescue Sprigatito. Some questions about the RVT are finally answered and the Explorers get some characterization.
First off, I’m going to get this out of my chest. Liko’s grandmother is NOT someone from the previous series. She is not Delia (there’s someone on Twitter who thinks Liko’s grandmother looks identical to her). She is not Johanna. She is just an original character. So, can we finally close the theory about her being related to Ash? SHE’S NOT RELATED TO HIM! PLEASE SHUT DOWN THOSE THOUGHTS ONCE AND FOR ALL! Liko isn’t a character who’s only worth is to be related to the predecessor. She can still be a compelling and interesting character without the need to be a shipper’s medal. If I see one more ridiculous theory about this, I am going to name drop everyone who still has this asinine theory.
Anyways, I’m sure everyone has this one question on their mind: Just who are the Rising Volt Tacklers and why are they looking for Liko? The Rising Volt Tacklers are a group of travelers with Friede as their leader and their mission is to solve the mysteries of the Pokemon world. They were hired by Liko’s parents to be her bodyguards, which was why they were looking for her. The mysterious pendant also happens to be a mystery of the world, so they make a goal to solve it as they head for the Paldea region.
To be honest, I really love these guys. They’re all so interesting. We get Friede, the bumbling but headstrong leader. He forgets things easily and just likes to change the topic when someone questions him things he cannot answer specifically. Orla is the team’s mechanic and is a talented one at that as she’s been fixing up the Brave Asagi and knows all the ins and out of the great airship. Murdock looks like a tough man, but he’s an absolute sweetie with his love for cooking and his adoration for his Rockruff. How he acts with his Rockruff is how I act with my dogs on a daily basis. Mollie is the composed medic. I really like how she looks different from how usual medics look. She does look like she can kill someone, but she’s kind. I wonder why she looks like a punk version of Nurse Joy. I do not know what Ludlow’s role in the team is yet. All he does is fish. Maybe he’s the watchman? Who knows? I’m invested in watching this team. They’re all shaping up to be interesting people. I wonder what sort of dynamic we’ll see from them and the relationships they’ll form with Liko and Roy.
Speaking of which, this anime makes the return of one original series’ character: Nurse Joy! We all missed our favorite Pokemon nurse! I’m glad she’s back! I wonder if other one note characters or recurring characters will make their return. Will they have Officer Jenny?
The Explorers have some characterization in this episode. It’s mainly Conia who gets all the personality as she falls in love with Sprigatito and spoils it rotten. Conia’s hilarious with her adoration for Sprigatito and essentially being the sort of comic relief within the usually serious Explorers team. Amethio and Zir are still the same, but Amethio seems to be easily provoked as he fell for Friede’s challenge to continue where they left off and had not realized it was a ploy for Liko to find her Pokemon. What makes the Explorers different from Team Rocket is that they’re targeting a person and not a Pokemon. Their target is Liko as they need her to activate the pendant, which is smart on the writer’s part. Zir is just there for the most part, but I hope he gets fleshed out in future episodes.
Liko also becomes a bit more confident as she realizes she’s not just a student in Indigo Academy, but Sprigatito’s Trainer. That cat is her Pokemon. I really loved the part where she realizes this. Her confidence meter has increased and it definitely will continue to do so. The fact that Liko is smart enough to know that she’s at a disadvantage when it comes to fighting Conia, so she uses the Leafage to conceal herself so that Sprigatito, Rockruff and she can escape shows her potential as a smart and analytical battler compared to Ash who is more action first, think later.
She also gets some characterization. She dreams of her grandmother, who is the motivator for her to become confident as she remembers her words. I wonder if her grandmother is already gone by the present time. She also seems to be from a rich family as Liko’s parents hired the Rising Volt Tacklers, a traveling group with a very expensive airship. I wonder what sort of family Liko is from.
Anyways, Roy is coming next week and I’m excited. The ending showed some glimpses of him and he just seems to be a cute bundle of joy. He lives on an island somewhere in the Kanto region, so I’m assuming he’s from the Sevii Islands? If so, congrats on making your debut, Sevii Islands.
I’m liking what I’m seeing so far. Liko officially joins the Rising Volt Tacklers and I can’t wait to see what the group is going to be like once Roy joins. The potential found family vibes is strong.

ORGANIZATION FILES. IRON VARIANTS.
FILES ARE TO BE SHOWN TO ORGANIZATION ADMINS, ORGANIZATION ENGINEERS, THE ULTRA RECON SQUAD, AND SPECIALIZED INDIVIDUALS. AN UNCLASSIFIED VERSION WILL BE RELEASED TO THE PUBLIC. LEAKING INFORMATION INTO THE PUBLIC WILL RESULT IN DISCIPLINARY ACTION.
iron variants. artificial pokemon that have been created to help capture, contain, and preserve pokemon. created also to assist in both quality of living and combating degradation of the world. in this document, the creation, development, and purpose of the iron variants will be described.
creation and development. after the assimilation and ultrahumans agreed to assist in the creation of the iron variants[see ORGANIZATION FILES. THE ASSIMILATION], progress immediately began. with use of aether foundation's previous artificial pokemon project in combination with knowledge on the dusk mane and dawn wing forms, the terastallization phenomena, mega evolution, and artificial pokemon such as mewtwo and genesect. to begin development, a few malleable pokemon were chosen: cyclizar, porygon, rotom, eevee, furfrou, and rockruff. results of initial experiments:
cyclizar. results were promising, due to the evolution of this pokemon and the technological enhancements already done on it, a near successful specimen was produced. approved for further production. porygon. despite the artificial origin and collaboration with technology, the lack of concrete dna and constant glitches proved null for use in iron variant production. once a defined method for producing iron paradoxes, return to porygon. rotom. measurable results, decent but not successful. look into using rotoms as an unlimited energy source for iron variants rather than being made into one. eevee. results were similar to cyclizar, though there was much to be desired. approved for further production. furfrou. results were null, nothing came out of this option. rockruff. results bore a middle ground between cyclizar and eevee. approved for further production.
further development. eevee, rockruff, and cyclizar proved to be promising, producing first successful iron variants: iron plush, iron mane, and iron serpent. due to the success of the initial productions, dna from other pokemon was taken to produce more iron variants. production soon became widespread and every family had at least one companion to assist in daily living. categories were formed to better organize the iron variants. some iron variants fit into multiple categories:
helper modules. generally specified for their quality of life and positive attitude raisers, the helper module variants contain those that are able to clean up around homes, bring up moral, and often assist in the transportation of clean food. these variants are also the ones that wander the streets to help the homeless and/or are always present in orphanages. helper pokemon are also used to recharge technology or provide power/warmth. examples: iron plush, iron bundle, iron hands, iron fairy, iron serpent, iron thorns, and iron spout. guard modules. created for security, guard modules are iron variants which serve the purpose of protecting people or defending a territory. these are often seen as the most emotionless of them and are the most feared by the public due to their absolute programming which can result in accidents that can lead to death. guard modules often accompany capture and transportation modules. examples: iron valiant, iron jugulis, iron mane, iron thorns, and iron fin. capture modules. with the purpose of capturing criminals and/or living pokemon, these iron variants are responsible for the containment of living pokemon to be sent to organization facilities so that they may be properly preserved for the eventual recovery of them and to avoid them being killed in the harsh environment. capture modules also contain material such as bone and corpses to obtain dna samples. examples: iron moth, iron treads, iron sleep, iron hunger, and iron whale. transportation modules. made to transport people, large objects, pokemon, etc., these are iron variants are capable of growing and shrinking to better equip transportation of living things or goods. these are commonly used to transport people in clean air vessels and have replaced cars and plains. these are also used to recover and move injured people and pokemon. examples: iron treads, iron serpent, iron shell, iron stack, and iron fish. service modules. a category that can fit any of the variants, these are specifically made to help individuals. rather than having a vest, these are a distinct chrome/silver colour to differentiate themselves from the normal iron variants. any variant can be made as a service module. specialized modules. these variants are in their own category and can have traits of the other modules, but are not readily assessable to the public. additionally, they serve wider purpose and are created from legendary or mythical pokemon. the only finished and successful ones are: iron leaves, iron crown, and iron boulder; which are made for restoring completely dead land through terraforming, photosynthesizing, and building.
every iron variant has a distinct feature of sending signals directly to the organization's headquarters. if a legendary is spotted, they are programmed to immediately send a signal to alert authorities so that capture and guard modules can be sent.

I think I could help a bit. I already deal with a hyperactive Rockruff on the daily so a purrlion shouldn't be too much trouble as long as they don't make trouble with Ena and Jay.
Would anyone be interested in fostering some purrloin kits? I just went to check on our liepard Marley and she has 6 eggs. We already have 10 deino hatchlings, I don’t think we can handle 6 hyper little purrloin kittens

PMD Peter. Our one quadruped! Which is because Peter is the morph who most smoothly just passes for regular human, which made my brain find it appropriate for him to be the least anthropomorphic in a world where they're all just Pokémon. He's generally enthusiastic and energetic with a kind of doggy disposition, so it felt like it fit. And of course, he's made of rock, so fat chance those wings could ever lift him even if they're not quite as proportionally puny as on a human.
I waffled a bit about whether he should have the 'hood' of feathers, went with it for the head patterning but it does undermine his nearly-normal appearance a bit.
He still can't move his wings, they're just like that.

Pokémon choices: Jonathan Harker addition! The drawing of Harker with his Pokémon at journey start. here.
There will be spoilers so don’t read if new to the book
Rockruff
The first Pokémon I chose for Jonathan was his Rockruff, Horatio. My reason being Jonathan has a very pleasant and friendly personality that Rockruffs are described to have at the start of his journey but later his personality is not stopped focused on killing the Count and is one of the more violent members of the group, matching up a bit with the Pokédex entries for Rockruff in Pokémon Sun and Moon and Pokémon Scarlet.
Rockruffs can evolve into either a daytime, nighttime, or the rare dusk lycanrock. Which matched up with the potential for Harker to be turned into a vampire by the Count and the girl gang. The choice to be a man of day or a creature of night. Inevitably, as noted by many last Dracula daily, Jonathan becomes something not quite human (his strange speed, strength, white hair to mention a few discussed pieces). The Dusk form for Lycanrock matches the inbetween state of Jonathan later in the novel. It’s Pokédex entries for Sun and Moon, Sword and Shield, and Scarlet and Violet mention that Dusk Lycanrock has a calm nature until the battle begins where it fights relentlessly just like Jonathan post October 3rd whenever he is in vicinity of Count Dracula. Plus the shiny’s color for the evolutions are blue, which I associate with Jonathan for it’s quiet, unassuming, yet strong nature.
The name Horatio of course comes from Shakespeare’s Hamlet. Horatio is Hamlets best friend and is skeptical of the supernatural. Jonathan takes his rockruff with the same name to mirror Jonathan’s own original skepticism with the supernatural.
Eevee
Now I wasn’t certain if I wanted to give Jonathan another Pokémon at his journeys start but my brain thought of how cute it would be if Jonathan, Mina and maybe Lucy all had the same Pokémon. Since Eevee has so many evolutions, I thought it was a fitting one to choose.
If I was to do a Dracula Characters as Pokémon au, I would pick for both Mina and Jonathan to be Eevees. For Jonathan, the one reason is that a normal Eevee color is brown but the shiny is white; post October 3rd, Jonathan goes from being a normal Eevee to a shiny one. The second reason is Eevee and evolve into Leafion, a grass type, which can learn life draining moves like Leech seed. Perfect for being a vampire equivalent with out being a ghost type. (The mental image of Count Dracula as a noivern chasing after Eevee!Jonathan with the intention of turning him into a Leafion is funny to me.)
Jonathan would evolve his Eevee into a Sylvion. Sylvion can only evolve with high Friendship and is a fairy type. Fairy types have the advantage over Dragon types, which the Count would have as his favored Pokémon type. Sylvion are also noted to be violent against Dragons in a few Pokédex entries like in Pokémon Moon.
The name Hamlet was chosen because of it being the Shakespeare character Jonathan mentions most in his entries (albeit each instant mentioned was for when he was questioning his sanity and using a familiar figure to try and safely navigate through the distress).
Phantump
I wanted to give Jonathan a Pokémon from Castle Dracula as the final one for his party. He only has three Pokémon to match Mina who will also have three Pokémon. That way when together the Harkers can have a full team. The only people I can see having a full team of six, which is typical for Pokémon trainers into battling, would be Quincey Morris and Count Dracula. None of the others will have full teams of six (it’s probably expensive to take care of a lot of Pokémon too).
Castle Dracula has a scary feel to it and is surrounded by woods and wolves. As such there are probably a lot of Ghost and Dark type Pokémon around. With this criteria I considered a Noibat, a Phantump, a Mimikyu dressed as a Noibat, or a Litwick. I eventually decided on the Phantump because in its Pokédex entries (Y, Sun, Sword) Phantumps are described as being a dead child possessing a tree stump. Considering we read both about the vampires killing at least two children and how the child deaths affected Jonathan, it seems fitting that he would run into and befriend one. I’m not sure if this Phantump would be one of the two to children to die or of an earlier kind. Nevertheless, one of them chooses to follow Harker around the castle and out.
The Phantump does not yet have a nickname as it would probably want its old name back. It could evolve as a means to protect Jonathan during his flight away from the Castle and free itself from being a ghost of the castle where it died.
That should be all for Jonathan’s Pokémon. Thank you for reading this whole post!
