Disney's Gargoyles won my fanart poll for August and I was super happy to return to this classic! I didn't get to watch the show much as a little kid because we didn't have Disney Channel, but whenever we stayed in a hotel I would look for it. It introduced so many of us to one of my favorite voice actors of all time, Keith David, and helped make Goliath one of my favorite characters!

So in a world where belief makes reality, in several decades on, you're gonna find someone in Ankh Morpork who swears that they saw a copper emerge from the shadows, lit only by a cigar and surrounded by a faint sheen of smoke, and it will smell like rain even if it isn't raining, and this man will say something like "I'll stop doing that right now if I were you, kid," then if the someone was doing something they shouldn't have been doing they sure won't be doing it after seeing him just disappear into the shadows after they take a swing at him.

And if what they had been doing was something really bad, well, then the man doesn't even speak. He just emerges between them and their would-be victim. And then a flash of darkness, a sense of immense age, and a flick of a tail.

okay so although im sad that emilys most likely retiring fig i think it makes the most sense for her character. She has been focusing on everyone but herself (ex. giving credit for her feats to her friends and thinking of multiclassing to a paladin of cassandra not for her own benefit or want but to help kristen) heck she even pretends to be wanda childa for about half the season. I know she says its because she wanted to try to turn ruben against the other rat grinders, but i think its also because fig has such an easier time pretending to be anyone else.

Her entire reflection monologue is about how lonely she is despite being surrounded by friends, she loves her friends and family but she doesnt know how to ask for help. She doesnt think she, the archdevil of rebellion and a rockstar who has saved the world multiple times, is good enough or deserving of help.

so she puts on a front, she does what she always has done. she pretends. she pretends shes okay, she goes out of her way to help others even at the expense of her own interests. She pretends that shes not hurting because her friends are already going through their own bullshit, why add to it? On top of all of this, ayda is gone. The one person she could most likely open up to about all of this is unavailable for the entire year and her absence hurts.

all of this is to say that fig needs time to focus on herself and not worry about her friends needs because they will always come first in her mind. she will always put her needs and wants to the side for her friends. fig needs a new beginning and hopefully the bottomless pit can help her to prioritize herself

Bakugou gets a boner whenever he fixes you food because you always seem to close your eyes, hum under your breath, and do a little dance in your seat whenever you bite into it. he fixes you a four course meal but now he’s rushing you to eat it in .8 seconds bc he keeps watching you and now his chub won’t go away :/

I like to think killing time fits him. I don't understand why most Toby playlists I came across consist of dying ukuleles with some sappy crying lyrics? He is chaotic and cheery, I would have put a few songs with an energetic guitar or something electro in there, nirvana, three days grace or whatever this is Shameless sharing of few fav songs I have a few energetic songs I associate with Tobs: phonk, modern emo songs, this remix, some good old and classic rock lmao I listen to Breathe Carolina a lot.

the thing about having to fill a huge raised bed is that i realize i have SO much random stuff here and there to fill the bed with lol like i've got random piles of bark leftover from my previous homeowners firewood pile. i've got my topsoil pile that i accumulated from all the holes i ever dug on the property. i've got my garden cleanup pile. i've got my pile of old potting soil. anyway. the point is, if you've got even a tiny sliver of property you can have just so many piles of stuff.
