I imagine they’d often go to the section of the ark that is specifically for growing plants and food to play in the dirt and plant apple seeds leftover from their lunches

They are often chased out but they always manage to sneak back in

Hello! Thank you so much, it means a lot to me that you enjoy my art and my AUs! I hope to write a more proper outline to work on it soon! In this au, Gerald is still Maria’s grandfather in this, her and Ivo share a father, but have different mothers!

Maria’s mother was a phytologist, studying plants and their applications in different circumstances, how they’d be effective combined with other studies. When she had Maria however, she was sick upon birth, and grew sick herself soon after. Her husband also left shortly after, and she remained mostly retired to try and take care of her daughter. When things worsened, she decided it was best to send her to stay with Gerald on the ARK, for proper treatment.

Her father, who had left prior, met a woman who worked in the same field and lab as him after moving, soon marrying her as they were very like minded and similar. His wife wasn’t fond of the idea of kids, but he managed to convince her to try since he wanted a healthy child to continue the Robotnik family and legacy.

Ivo was certainly a prodigy, arguably too much of one. They all thought he was too much.

He and Maria were never formerly introduced, later only referenced as cousins to cover the controversy and scandal of Maria’s side of the family and keep Ivo distant, for various other reasons.

Okay, let me start by saying that I haven't played this game yet. Spoilers don't bother me much, and I've been using my various fandoms as shields against life lately.

So, like a fool, I just had to watch the cutscenes from Shadow's story and OMG...

The memory of his adoring big sister has always been part of his strength, no one can convince me otherwise.

The way he tries to hold on for even just a few extra seconds, it's too much😭

Since Maria is Nora Freeze equivalent of the DC au, does that mean she's technically alive (albeit cryogenically frozen). Would that mean there is a chance for Maria and Shadow reuniting?
